Norway only have Haaland and Odegaard, the rest are just weak players where their market value didn't even reach at least 5 Million Euros. If there's no player can give a good pass or assist for Haaland, Haaland performance will looks bad too. Opponent club just need to keep an eye to Haaland because there's no Norway player have better execution than Haaland.

2 players can't beat 11 players, so it's why good to bet on Norway's opponent club because people got influenced if Norway is a strong club.

Norway is not the strongest team, but I think you underestimate the level of their players too much, Solbakken plays in Roma, Serloth in Real Sociedad, Aursnes in Benfica, maybe not the most important players in the team, but still they are professionals. The Scottish team also has non top players, so it's not worth saying that Norway is much weaker because of this. Sometimes one leader can lead the whole team, Haaland is still too young, but maybe he has yet to do it.

I think that it is something that Norway has to fix, they have good attackers and the fact that they were only able to score from the penalty spot yesterday night means that they have not found yet the perfect formula to start scoring goals and to harmonize the team forwarders together.I agree,Haaland is still young at just 23 years old but he has a lot of experience in his shoulders already so age should not be a limiting factor in this team,I think that Norway coach needs to be replaced and to get someone who can harmonize the team players better as you cannot just lose your game in just 2 minutes when you are winning, even weaker teams do not permit that,so they have to change something.
2922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 17, 2023, 09:32:15 PM
Just when I thought that finally a night without surprises as I was watching Norway leading up to the 85th minute and I thought that it was going to be a sure win but Scotland turned immediately things around in just two minutes with two goals in 87th and 89th minute which was the first surprise of the night.

The second one was Belgium not being able to win at home against Austria,I think Belgium was also the biggest surprise of tonight games from the Euro qualifiers as honestly for me Belgium is in a much better shape than Austria and even Austria goal was a Belgium own goal unfortunately which cost them the three points tonight. All other games come as predicted.

Qualifying session has started and I'm really wondering how much it will rain during it. We have seen much bigger times in FP3 due to rain. If we see that it rains and stops during the session this can make us watch a really different qualifying from normal times. It still seems difficult to get past Verstappen and win pole position though. Because he was still great in FP3 under rain as he got the 1st place anyway.

I'm expecting a good performance from Mercedes drivers at the weekend as well by the way. They might be able to maintain the good look in the previous race.

Rain and a Piastri who made a red flag appear made it easy for Verstappen to win the Pole Position this time, adding two poles to his name in this legendary track, last year and this one which of course have something in common and that is both such poles come into rain.

I expected a bit more from McLaren but I am confidently seeing that they are improving in qualifying in these last 2-3 races but something I am not seeing materialize in the races,I think most likely I would wait until Silverstone when that "all new car" will be on track delivering.

I just did a random pick for this round of F1 as I still believe we will have 1 chaos race and it seems that Canada might be that one.

Also , after Ferrari won LeMans , I went with Lec to get another podium , followed by a victory and 1-2 podium for Ferrari with both Max and Lewis having a DNF as I didn't take neither of them for top 10. Instead , I went with Perez to take 3rd place and also the fastest lap of the race. Grin Grin Grin

Going that route you either win big and make a lot of coming up in the standings in the pool  Grin or otherwise you get out of the fight for a prize here with that type of prediction.I saw that the last session of the practice was completely in rain and the time was 1.23.1 for Verstappen topping the standings while for the second practice the top guy was 1.13.x and I think if the race will be in rain tomorrow maybe it will truly be that race, that chaotic race which would finally see another winner except Redbull drivers which have dominated completely so far.

For me though I have gone to the standard prediction of top 1-2 Redbull,3-4 Ferrari,5-6 Mercedes,7-8 Aston Martin and 9-10 Alpine  Grin.
2925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: June 17, 2023, 09:53:12 AM
Deposit bonuses are only good if they permit you to play the amount on sport betting also and not only in casino games and I know few casinos who permit this, this is however the best use of the deposit bonus, like if you deposit 1000 dollars and get 1000 bonus, you can increase that 1000 dollars dramatically with some sport bets in just a week if you are patient enough to bet on odds and games who have high chances of coming true. This though is done by very few casinos and very few people while most people tend to go directly to try their luck in the slot machines which they soon find out that they will lose the money in no time, especially if they raise the bet.

1st hour of practice was complete with only 20ish minutes raced.

They got a problem with the cameras and they canceled the session.

To compensate the second hour of practice will be 90 minutes.

I think that always the practice does not show the true power of the cars,we have seen last races that Verstappen to end 5th or 6th in free practices and then skyrocketing to the pole on official qualifying.Nevertheless they give us a good overview about other teams who try their best in the practice sessions to do the more laps they can and to collect as much data as they can in order to help them improve when they prepare for the qualifying or the race itself.

I only hope rain is present here otherwise it will be a super boring race this one with Redbull dominating every single inch of this track from the beginning to the end of the race, the rain if there will make sure to stop Redbull supremacy as in rain we see more driver skills than car supremacy.
2927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 17, 2023, 09:15:29 AM
Well that third part is the most important one,no one put a gun in my head forcing me to gamble and I assume this to be for many if not all other gamblers here as well but yet here we are playing and gambling almost daily in our lives.I disagree for professional gamblers as they are just as a fish bait for us,just like youtube, twitch streamers are for slot machine players, they keep being sponsored by big casinos to show you their big wins in order to motivate other gamblers and of course you can role play it as long as they are not money from your own pocket.I also believe that there is no 100% win guarantee even when choosing 1.01 odds in sport betting,so the bottom line is that gambling can never be a major income route for anyone of us.
2928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: June 17, 2023, 07:28:29 AM
I just lost 3 Friendly Match last week ago, and all match results draw Grin,

  • Morocco - Cape Verde,
  • Germany - Ukraine,
  • and Indonesia vs Palestine

I don't know why a strong team like German and Morocco didn't play seriously when meet in a friendly match. this will be noted and experienced in the future, So if you are bet in a friendly match, be careful to bet, don't look at how strong that team and squad, just look and be brave to bet in a draw. This is just my opinion, not always all friendly matches result for draw, but with my 3 last bets, I have a thing to bet 70% in the draw  Grin,

how about you?

That is why I never bet on friendlies as teams do not care for the results, they are only trying different tactics and new players and see how useful they are to the team in official games, friendly games are a testing ground and the only bet I rarely make on them is to bet on both teams to score yes since most teams play care free and usually the concede goals but of course I do this rarely as it still remains a friendly game.

Not all games end in draw but I can assure you that most of the games that are friendlies do not come with the results bookies expect or at least make us expect a win for example from Germany yesterday,so it is the best thing to do to move away from betting on friendly games.

Giving up looking for good odds for a podium finish for an outsider. Someone give me a quick rundown on why Bottas is no longer considered a contender -- 250/1 for a podium place. I know he's switched down to an inferior car but are the differences in machines really so huge that good drivers stand no chance? Or is it a combination of Bottas also deteriorating?

Bottas with a car like Alfa Romeo has exactly 0 chances to get to the podium in a normal race but since we would be having rain during this weekend,it is worth trying even 1000/1 odds as who knows what the rain brings, cars going out of track, crashes and a lot of other unpredictable things that can happen because of it.On normal conditions though Bottas is getting old but this is no good reason to rate him at that odd for the podium while driving an Alfa Romeo is a big reason why it is exactly correct to rate him at that odd for the podium, the Alfa Romeo seems in the same level or just a bit better than Williams.
2930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 16, 2023, 06:28:05 PM
snip

I know a big win cannot make me back off from gambling, and as such, it underscores the variety of incentives for gambling, just as you mentioned.

But, @slapper (boss), I don't seem to get your point of view on this matter. Would you rather shun gambling if, peradventure, you make a win of $200k, or, let me just say, if a casino offered to pay you off from gambling with the sum of $500k and ask you to stop gambling in your entire life time (you can call it an imaginary miracle of me), would you be able to ignore gambling?
I think it is almost impossible especially for those who enjoy gambling. No matter how much money you pay a gambler cannot get rid of gambling for the rest of his life. Although 100K or 500K is a big deal for a normal gambler but if he is a regular gambler then he must indulge in gambling . Money will never stop him. In this case I would say that it is not an easy task. Even a responsible gambler can find it very difficult to come back from gambling because a gambler always enjoy gambling not only the money.

It is not always the truth though,I personally would not stop at 100k but I would definitely stop at 500k and would invest that money in real estate to buy about 2-3 houses where I live now and get a net profit from rent at about 2k without doing anything.Of course I would still gamble from time to time but with really low amounts and would never go deep down and sell these houses I bought with that money, something many other gamblers have done in the past,so it all depends on how you look and perceive the situations.
2931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 16, 2023, 05:51:06 PM
I want to add that from personal experience the patience keeps going away as long as we play slot machines, dice, roulette, plinko and all other games where we know instantly the results, these very same games are the most dangerous thing when it comes for us to become addicted as addiction just want us to keep playing and hit the spin or play button.

On the other hand I have noticed that I don't need the urge to gamble if I play sport betting and I study the events and bet only one game for a day, call it my bet of the day and have the upper limit,no more than 10-20 dollars for such a bet. This will eventually build our patience with the passing of time.
2932  Other / Off-topic / Re: When will you be comfortable to start a home. on: June 16, 2023, 02:21:27 PM
So that everyone can share their opinion on this topic, ai will the question in two different ways. For the single people and people who already have life partners. For the people with life partners already, at what stage economically where you before you decided to settle down with a partner? Did you already have a stable source of income or your source of income was not very stable. For single people, when will you get married? Can you get married with an unstable source of income or you will wait till when you are very financially stable. Please share your personal answers.

I got married in 2018 and let me say I had not that stable finances but I was lucky to have a home passed down to me as a gift and that kind of gift gives you enough space to start a family even without much financial stability.I got a credit for about 15.000 EUR to furnish my home and I still have now about 2-3 years almost to finish it,so I am lucky to have been doing it.

In normal conditions you marry when you find the person that has the same objectives as you and you buy a home with mortgage and work together to finish it,meanwhile creating family and being a better citizen which gives the contribute to the world,i.e you bring up 1 or 2 babies in the world. As a single person there is no exact moment to marry, you marry when you find as I said your life partner, that person when you don't need much time but you soon realize that he/she is the one and marry, everything else come together after it as I explained above.
2933  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: June 16, 2023, 02:05:23 PM
Thank you for your reply and it is helpful to know the viewpoint from both sides of the issue.I hope some agreement can be reached soon because with both parties not willing to compromise on their own terms for an agreement it looks unlikely there will be peace in the very near future. It is worrying for global citizenry who have no say whatsoever in the decisions their politicans make when those politicans seem to be detached form reality and only follow rhetoric in many instances.War is bad for everyone and the casualties are are mainly those who have no say in the matter. It is not a terrible grief to see those who enjoy combat and warfare to fall on the battlefield but a very sad affair to see conscripted citizens from both sides be forced into a bloodbath not to mention all the civilians and infrastructure, wildlife, environment and habitat caught up in this abomination.
I think that there are good chances for the conflict to end in 2023, perhaps in the fall or towards the end of the year, maybe at the beginning of 2024. Because in January next year the active phase of the US election campaign will begin, and it is extremely unprofitable for Biden to reach the finish line of the election campaign racing with the unfinished conflict in Ukraine. And by and large, it doesn’t matter to him whether Ukraine wins or not, even the loss of Ukraine is better than the continuation of the conflict before the elections. Why am I talking about the United States - because without the active support of the United States, the ability of Ukraine to continue to conduct active hostilities will be calculated in a couple of months, if not a couple of days.

Of course, Ukraine will not accept its defeat and will continue to resist in a guerrilla-terrorist format, but this is no longer a task for the regular army, but for special services and law enforcement agencies.

Well when you are over optimistic it is normal to write these things,by the way how do you welcome African delegation who tomorrow will be in Russia with Kalibr 47 missiles who luckily got all shot down by Patriot air defense systems?
You have a strange way of welcoming guests there in Russia and for me this is enough to never set foot there even when the regime of Putin will be changed and there will be again the normal Russia running business as usual.

As for Biden don't worry he has over 75% support for supporting Ukraine for as long as it takes as Ukraine is fighting for democracy against autocratic regime that Putin has put Russia in these last couple of years.
2934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can One's Religion Compel A Compulsive Gambler To Quit Gambling on: June 16, 2023, 01:50:51 PM
I'm not specific to any religion and hopefully, no members here will mention any religion, the topic is in general and not specific to one's religion

Can a compulsive gambler that is newly converted to one religion, compel him to stop gambling?

When we talk about religion it's about changing our ways, ideas, and beliefs so when we successfully help one compulsive gambler to convert from an example to an atheist to one's religion can we compel him to stop gambling?

Is it possible that he will continue playing but secretly?

I have heard of people doing so by converting to really strong, rigid and against human rights religion like Islam is in my view.I live now in a country with the majority of the population being Muslims and I have seen a lot of ongoing talks from the I don't know how they are called the spiritual leaders that every Friday call for people to quit immorality, gambling and alcohol drinking. It has worked in some degraded persons in the sense that they are back now not doing these things anymore but they are now just robots who don't enjoy anything in life anymore, and as bottom line even this is not really stopping from gambling, mostly is stopping from life pleasures.
2935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 16, 2023, 12:52:19 PM
FP1 for the German MotoGP has been completed and will soon be followed by FP2 at the Sachsenring circuit, which incidentally Marc Marquez has won eleven races there so he is still very wary of the other riders here at the Sachsenring. Apart from that, it will be quite interesting to see who will qualify for Q2 today even though the weather is not so bright and in FP1 earlier it was Johan Zarco who took first place, followed by Marc Marquez in second and Aleix Espargaro in third.

Finally a track where rider skill is somewhat above bike in the MotoGP and Sachsenring circuit is well known at least several years ago when I used to watch closely every race in the era of Rossi,Biaggi and Lorenzo sure I have seen great races in this track.Since Marc Marquez is the favorite here I think we would be all doing a nice try if we bet on him to win the race, the last two races I have bet on him the odd were 9 to be the winner and over 2 in top 3 but he always crashed in those races. If the odd is good here and hopefully he does not crash,we are all going to make some additional good amount of money from this bet, only bet when you can afford to lose though and don't take this as an advice  Grin.
2936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 16, 2023, 10:23:26 AM
Barcelona have been disappointing in the Champions League for two seasons. The only serious problem Xavi is dealing with is this now actually. Because they didn't have much problem on winning the La Liga title. But they just can't deal with big teams in the Champions League properly. This season they had a really terrible group stage experience. I didn't like Lewandowski's performance in big matches here as well. It was like there was a completely different striker than the one who scores so many goals in the La Liga.

Xavi needs to find a way to consolidate the game plan more for next season. Because the board would ask him to do more than this. Maybe tiki-taka isn't the right choice against such teams here anymore so Xavi had better think about a new formula.
Barcelona want to apply the same plan they play in La Liga in the Champions League which has resulted in them being a failed team every season in the Champions League. Barcelona's main focus should be on the Champions League as they have not won the Champions League trophy for several years. The only way to achieve European excellence is to win the Champions League trophy.

Since Xavi has been appointed as the manager of Barcelona, Xavi should adopt the plan that is needed to win the Champions League trophy and if some players need to be changed to do well in the Champions League, Barcelona should change those players.

Barcelona is now a much more consolidated team after being managed by Xavi, sure it took a bit of time but I think this year Barcelona will pass the group stages and go far,the players also have harmonized between them in a way to play much better than in the beginning so I think with these players they already have, they make a good strong contending team.Of course any addition especially in the midfield which is the most important part of any team as they win or lose you games is more than welcome and I am sure Xavi is already thinking which player to get to fit his needs.
2937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: June 16, 2023, 09:52:01 AM
As for today's qualification games, I don't see any particularly interesting games to watch. In all games big favorites play against big underdogs.

I don't think that North Macedonia vs Ukraine game will be like that. North Macedonia is known for making big upsets and a win today would take them to np.2 spot in Group C (below England, but above Italy). Ukraine lost to England 0-2 in the first phase and would be looking to get their first points today (North Macedonia's first match was against Malta). Also, if Greece wins against Republic of Ireland, then they will be having the same number of points as France. Apart from these two matches, I agree with you. Results are all predictable.

So are you guys inviting us to bet a lot of money on the predictable odds at a max of 1.30 as there are quite some games from this level for today and tomorrow games  Grin?I would refrain though from betting on such games as I am pretty sure that never we will see all of these low odds at 1.30 max to materialize but that would be a pleasant surprise,so why not try 1000 IDR just for fun and check if maybe that will come true,if it does I would not win a lot of money but if it doesn't I would not care either.I don't want to bet a lot of International games as usually surprises do happen in such games.
2938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 16, 2023, 09:31:04 AM
I see ETH to become next blessing in disguise, I remember when it was around $100 people condemned it not to go anywhere within the space of a month interval ETH shuck the price in 500% increase and today is about $1800 let's watch and see ETH will create unbreakable records, channel some useless coins you have to ETH and relax in future.

That can also be done through Faucetpay, for people who have a lot of time and they work from home, they open a couple of new tabs and all the rewards from there to convert to ETH which is a viable option for people who believe in ETH power in the coming future.

The problem though is that I don't believe at all in a massive upgrade of the price of ETH as they moved to PoS,meaning a couple of people who own a lot of ETH decide how the ETH path will be and I never have seen so far a true successful PoS coin.
2939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 16, 2023, 09:05:22 AM
I think there are enough good drivers there that given a great car can fight Verstappen at least in the same level of performance of Hamilton and I would keep in this list,Leclerc,Sainz,Russell,Alonso and Perez, they just don't have a winning car except the case of Perez as I don't know why he must suffer the complex of inferiority against Verstappen, probably because the team does not support him as much as they do with Verstappen.

Nevertheless we need a team capable of performing not the same as Redbull, even a bit less but to be near them and it is up to the drivers then to show their skills in beating Redbull even with not the best car,we had the McLaren 1998-2000 era where they beat Ferrari even being the second best car thanks to Mikka Hakkinen.
Yeah Perez has the same car with Verstappen according to Red Bull's words. But still he can't be competitive enough in this rivalry. Of course Red Bull care about Verstappen more and this is a reason indeed. Because there is a hierarchy in the team. The drivers are not seen equal like it is at Ferrari. Apart from that Perez has started to make individual mistakes as well recently and this also caused the gap to get even bigger in the championship.

For example the simple mistake in Monaco qualifying session.
I think Perez just lost the nerve to be fair. He is afraid that he will lose his spot, not like he is that much important to the team, he has amazing defensive skills that helped Max win the title back in the day but that was some time ago and Max is winning without needing anyone at all, they could come out with just Max and he would still win, he doesn't really need any help.

In which case, it looks like there is a potential Perez is no longer contracted there, I would say Daniel could maybe replace him again, as a veteran that gets paid not so much and just does what he has to do. I think that would be one option, or they could pick a younger person who would be hungry to win and just push Max to be better, he is way too comfortable at the top right now.

Both Leclerc and Russell are good choices for Redbull and seeing the situation it would be stupid of them not to replace Perez if he does not pick up his pace and wins at least a couple more races for the season,he surely has the better car of the grid and for Verstappen it won't always go his way,he will have problems or failures some time and when that does,Perez still does not win then he will be removed and not contracted again.

Daniel I think has lost his motivation now as old in age who just loves to drive a F1 car but not that he will be of any threat to Verstappen at all while Russell and Leclerc may want to win themselves and that would be a scenario I would love to see materializing.
2940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 16, 2023, 08:20:29 AM
Quote
Stereotypically, gender is also cited as one of the reasons why people like to gamble. One of the research findings shows that women tend to prefer percentage-odds-based games and men tend to prefer skill-based games.

For example, poker, from a man's point of view is considered a skill-based gamble. While women see it as a game of calculating the odds.

In gambling, generally, women don't like it when others see them lose. Girls probably prefer slot machines because no one sees players win or lose.

Gambling with slot machines is often a personal experience free of guilt or shame. While the men are not like that.

According to research, when a man loses a gamble, there's a machismo attached to him saying, "Yeah, I lost £500, but I can afford it."

And when you win big, guys like it to be exposed right away. Because, they consider this as part of the skill.

This difference in reasons does not necessarily indicate whether men prefer to gamble than women. Women who like to gamble or men who like to gamble are both related to the courage to take risks.

For different reasons, people who like to gamble see it as fun and for reasons that are more complex than just economics.
Read more (use google translate)

Do you think the results of the research above are correct?

I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife. maybe the results of this research can be used by gambling business owners in developing their business.

When I first came here where I live now for work some years ago,in a small Western Balkan country I immediately was surprised by the big number of casino places and lotto clubs, they even had a clone name of Caesar Palace which in my honest review they had done it really well with free snacks and drinks as long as you would play a minimum of 20 dollars.

This was one of the big casinos and men were massively playing there however also women came there occasionally and I did not see a big difference in behavior between men and women except men are always more and this is natural,so most likely that research has some truth in it.
