Uhh... You actually submitted the claim, right? If you are still at the screen where you can add more info, you haven't submitted it.

I currently have 41.91003938 secured. One of the wallets I checked had an email address as the label for a receiving address, so at least I have a lead on who owns them.
Time to commute home, it's 8:30 PM already. I'll try to work through a lot more of these tonight.
Maybe run the addresses through this list that was scraped earlier today? http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24346.0I wonder if unemployed still has the unfiltered list... (any address added to a sig after this was released can't be trusted)

If somebody has enough connections, they can guess where a transaction came from based on which IP address was used to send them the transaction first. This risk can be mitigated by specifically specifying certain trusted nodes that your client will only connect to, but it's better to just use Tor.

"We are currently achieving around a 23% increase in Mhash/s mining speed."
Yeah... It's a scam. And I got this too at my MtGox email.
And I'd love to move this, but I don't know where since it applies to a lot of sections.

This information seems to be slightly dated. i.e., You can not post in the Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) section because it is now closed.
Huh?

I'd bet you anything that this was an outside attacker who has an agenda against Bitcoin. They search for any site that mentions Bitcoin, and then sends thousands of fraudulent clicks to the ads on the page to get AdSense to drop you.

That said, the hash of the block the transaction is included in is (relatively) safe. The only issue is if they bet much more than the block is worth, they can just never submit the block to the network if they know that they lose.

I had the same question just now and found the answer elsewhere If your Bitcoin client is new or has been idle recently (e.g. not open), it has to catch up to the block with the transactions that you are concerned about before it is aware of them. So check the "x blocks" status in your Bitcoin client, and check the block # for the transactions you are looking for on block explorer. if your client's # is less than your transaction's #, then wait for the client to catch up. Once it does, it should show the transactions and be able to redeem the bitcoins. At least I hope so, as I am in a similar situation That is correct.

When it comes to using transaction IDs for this kind of thing, you can't tell the user what the transaction ID must be. That is because the transaction can be generated an unlimited amount of times locally until they find one that works. What you have to do is hash the secret that's supposed to be matched, and then release the secret at the time that you tell them if they win or lose.

At this point, your only real escalation path is to contact MagicalTux directly on IRC. He is on Freenode in #mtgox

I did pass this on to Adam over at MtGox about an hour ago, so hopefully you've been contacted/have had the issue resolved. If not, I'll pass it over to Mark (MagicalTux).

How long has your ticket been open?

Yeah I've just been lurking the forums for a while trying to get my time up, 1 hour milestone ha hey this is kinda off topic but has anyone else been able to get in contact with BitcoinExchange thru email/im/pm? I've been trying to get in touch with him for 3 days now about my order and I haven't received a single email or instant message back, even though his AIM keeps going from online to offline every 7 or 8 hours Doesn't sound like it. There are some other posts in this forum about this that you might want to look into.

I am in the UK and using britcoin to exchange the coins for GBP. I just deposited 2 coins to the old expired address that was only valid for a deposit of coins a week ago having forgotten to change it. From what I am reading it may be impossible to get these coins back, the transaction status is reading "Not yet redeemed"
Is there anyway at all of reclaiming these 2 coins from this expired address?
Thanks
You will have to contact Britcoin.

Not sure if your an admin or not at BHW
Why would you be spamming here man? Would lose a lot of respect.
Honestly, that would explain a lot. And, a black hat SEO guy losing respect because he spammed?!? What?!? That's kinda all they do.

I haven't been able to recover my account nor even receive a response back from MtGox even though I opened my claim on the first day and provided all of the information needed. Anyone else have this problem? have they given up and started stealing month now? Perhaps they lost too much money and are not able to active accounts?
Did you actually SUBMIT the claim? If you are still at the screen where you can add evidence, then you never submitted it.

If I was going to store my wallet in that type of service I would probable use [ur=http://www.wuala.com/referral/53MG7F6HN56G36K67PG6]Wuala[/url].
Missing a letter? I don't think you'll be making much from that referral link... I fixed it
