2001  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] batch #23/24 ASICMiner USB + NEW Blade miners on: August 29, 2013, 03:12:52 AM
Do you have any preliminary stats for the new blades? or an estimated price? That way I can gather the correct amount of BTC up Smiley

all you newbies are fucking annoying, I see 4 newbies, one selling a BFL single and others are trolling or maybe you are all trolling. use escrow if you do not trust this guy, pay the escrow and let him mine for you for 24 hours as a proof, than you just confirm to escrow and the seller to ship the device, when you get the device you can open the box right away infront of the post man (yes you can do that) to verify the content and you can reject the shipment if it is not what you are expecting or if it is damaged.

Wow I don't know why your so upset about it, nothing even forced you to read this thread. His photo's looked photoshoped so people wanted further evidence that he owned the product. What is wrong with being a little skeptical? (rhetoric question, I won't argue the point with you).
2006  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [HOWTO] flash your jalapeno to 8+ ghs on: August 28, 2013, 04:13:00 PM
Red_wolf are you familiar with the Raspberry pi technique? Are you guys able to help over skype chat? And what do you guys charge? I should have my Pi in 1-2 days and then I want to give it a go.

Definitely familiar with the RasPi technique!
Happy to help out if you're able to do the remote hands aspect of plugging cables up to things. An easy source of suitable hookup wires is those old CD-ROM to soundcard hookup cables. If you can get two of those (you'll only need six of the pins rather than eight) they should fit nicely onto both the RasPi's header and the JTAG1 connector once extracted from their original plugs. I'd suggest using some tape or shrinkwrap on the ends though to avoid shorting anything out.

Ok awesome! When the raspberry pi arrives I'll send you a PM. I don't have a Jtag cable or any extra cd audio cables lying around (that I know of). I do have extra IDE cables though. I'd prefer to go to radioshack and buy a cable if it cant be done with an IDE cable modification. Could you point me to what cable I would need to purchase from radioshack? (in case they don't have jtag cables).
2007  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Bitmine Avalon Clone Batch #1 (starts shipping next week!) on: August 28, 2013, 04:05:47 PM
Yep your pricing is $62/GH, which is a good price. Like I said I wasn't trying to get you to lower your price or anything, just correcting the pricing of the other setups Smiley
2008  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Bitmine Avalon Clone Batch #1 (starts shipping next week!) on: August 28, 2013, 05:36:24 AM
Comparisons:

(ASICminer USB STICKS) 115,000 / 333 = 345 USB sticks * 0.4 BTC each = *drum roll* 138 BTC for equivalent hash rate.

(ASICminer Blades) 115,000 / 11000 (avg) = 10.45 blades * 12.5 BTC = 130 BTC

(BFL Singles 60 GH x 2) 55GH (they average 55; I have two) = 90-100 BTC total

(BFL Jalapenos) 110,000 / 5000 = 22 jalapenos = 220 BTC

Besides the ASIC block erupters your math is completely off due to your pricing per machine...

1. ASIC blades are currently 10.5 BTC brand new
2. BFL Singles are 35 BTC used (and very tough to sell at that price)
3. Jalapenos are closer to 5-6 BTC, and there are many people trying to sell their jalapeno at 6 BTC with no luck.

I'm actually really surprised you tried to pass off a jalapeno for 10 BTC each.

Anyways, I offer $2,500 USD cash and local pickup in southern callifornia.

I just looked at a couple links on the first page and those were the prices shown. You're also wrong. First page of For Sale section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246020.msg2608792#msg2608792

Price for block eruptor is 12 BTC now. Went down 0.5 BTC. And only scam singles are 35. Why dont you go buy one and let us know Smiley

Also stop wasting my time. Why don't you just place an order right now for batch #3 for $6k.

The post you looked up is from June when they were 12 BTC and that guy sells to europeans for higher price than they cost in the US.

Check Canaryinthemine (US based ASICMiner distributor), they are going for 10.5 BTC each, they are in stock and ship super fast: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=277332.0

And when you can get 11GH/s for 10.5BTC brand new, not many people are dumb enough to pay 10BTC for just 5GH/s on an old jalapeno. I'm not trying to make you lower your price or anything, just correcting your price equations Tongue
2009  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: BFL Butterfly Labs 60 GHs Single Unit - Free WORLD ship on: August 28, 2013, 03:52:58 AM
Like I told you in the PM, I have no problem verifying and posting a screen shot for you. In 10 minutes you wouldn't even lose 0.1 BTC, so it's not like I have a lot to gain here if I just wanted a free few hundreths or less of a BTC.

Good luck though, I'm just helping keep scammers at bay Tongue

1xUnopened Nexus RK-1K 1000W PSU BTC0.05

I'll take it!

Considering that the risers cost 0.08 BTC, I'm assuming he meant to write 0.5 BTC. But if I'm wrong then that is an excellent deal Smiley

2013  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FOR SALE: BUTTERFLY LABS (BFL) 60GHps Single + FREE SHIPPING on: August 28, 2013, 02:53:07 AM
Most likely a scam. See his other thread here if it doesn't get deleted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=281313.0

His photos are photoshop'd and has failed to prove that he has it.
2014  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: BFL Butterfly Labs 60 GHs Single Unit - Free WORLD ship on: August 28, 2013, 02:45:05 AM
So I messaged him to verify the ownership on his BFL 60GH/s miner and that I would post screen shots in his thread for him giving him the vouch that he at least has access to the miner/speed that he is selling. He responded with the following:

"No thank you. I am only providing it to interested buyers and requiring 0.25BTC deposit upfront."

So now this guy requires that you pay him $28 USD, for him to prove to you that he's not scamming....

2019  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] IN-HAND Butterfly Labs MiniRig SC 500GH/s on: August 26, 2013, 04:49:30 PM
Only thing that would protect you is if you ship to their verified paypal address (assuming there isn't a maximum dollar amount for paypal seller protection). If you ship your rig to paypal address that is not marked as verified, you're going to get screwed. Also, if they send you an e-check via paypal, do NOT ship until it clears in a week or so. Just trying to help you out Smiley
2020  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] 6 ASIC Block Erupters on: August 26, 2013, 04:26:02 PM
Just like the title says I'm looking to buy 6 ASIC block erupters. Feel free to post below or send me a PM. I can buy them brand new for 0.33 BTC so offers must be lower than that.
