Your current highest bidder has a rating of 1. Be weary of scammers.

Unless it gets some good reviews I'd be careful with that site.

Here is the whois info with an obviously fake fax number (why not just leave it blank?)

   paul moscatt (paul@hampdenwireless.com)
   +1.4104674631
   Fax: +1.5555555555
   3252 keswick road
   baltimore, MD 21211
   US

The site may be for sale...here is their "privacy policy"
We do NOT store bitcoin payment addresses as they are done through bit-pay therefore we do not provide this information to anyone purchasing this business.  Anyone purchasing this business would need to have a new bit-pay or payment processor and would have no access to older information.

There "about us" section states: Welcome to Little Shop of Harware's online bitcoin store. The address on google street view says "the little shop of hardware", so that might be correct.

And their logo doesn't even fit within the area it is put in.

I think they just bought an old domain, through up opencart on it with products and are just hoping that they will receive bitcoins and then disappear when trouble comes. Don't get me wrong I could be completely wrong, but if they were making any profit online I'd think they'd make their website look a little more professional than its current state.

I actually have a Raspberry Pi coming to me in the mail within the next couple days. Could you give me a little run down of how the process works the Pi?
2024  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5 Ghash/s Asic Block Erupter mining rig with hubs/fans on: August 26, 2013, 12:59:53 AM
Are you splitting them up or only the package as a whole? and what kinds of offers are you expecting?

I'll offer 0.10 BTC per eruptor.
2025  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [HOWTO] flash your jalapeno to 8+ ghs on: August 26, 2013, 12:37:42 AM
Anyone have an extra AVR dragon that they would want to sell for cheap? Or just lend me one and I'll mail it back to you? I'd like to try this out, but I'd rather not have to fork out $50 at the moment Tongue

There are ways to reflash the units that don't involve an AVR Dragon.... If you're game Tongue

I am game, how would it be done? I'm not very electronic savvy.

2027  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 26 Block Erupters on: August 25, 2013, 05:42:17 PM
If you want to buy between 1-99 they are 0.33 BTC each right now through forum members (ie directly through canaryinthemine). Before difficulty increase forum members would sell used one for 0.25 each. If you buy over 100 then you're looking at 0.31 brand new. BTCGuild has always been about twice the price as Canaryinthemine.

When you can buy them brand new for 0.33 BTC, there is absolutely no reason to spend greater than that amount for used ones. With the difficulty increase I suspect canaryinthemine will be lowering his prices in his next posting as well.

2029  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 4x ASICMiner Blades *In hand ready to ship* on: August 24, 2013, 11:59:16 PM
Difficulty is now at 65.8M, if you spent only 4BTC per blade, you MIGHT be able to make a total ROI of 1.3 BTC (about $150)  haha. Make sure to use your mining calculators guys Tongue

BTW my bid for 5 BTC per blade was denied and now retracted Tongue

2031  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB hub to use with Block Erupters or K1? A List. on: August 24, 2013, 08:00:47 AM
SolidbitShop did you overclock some of your ASIC miners to 400Mh/s or did they just arrive like that? If you did overclock them, how is the heat production off of those ones?
2032  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB hub to use with Block Erupters or K1? A List. on: August 24, 2013, 07:56:22 AM
This is an update on the MCM hubs.  As I've mentioned in my initial review, it supports seven miners.  There are only 46 miners on this setup; 1+2 rear ports on the last two hubs respectively are not populated (waiting for more miners to come in):

...and here they are in action:

http://s1330.photobucket.com/user/visdude/media/MVI_0112_zps64f2f52e.mp4.html

The hub stands/bases were originally affixed onto the desk (here) but I found it to be inflexible and inconvenient.  So, I got a cheapo clipboard and a roll of masking tape at the local 99-cent store and made a movable platform out of it to organize the hubs.  This setup is ideal with these hubs since one can just pull it from the base and work on it independently from the rest (modular).  Partly seen in the lower right hand corner of the image is another hub.  I have started to create another row of seven MCM-type generic hubs (all black this time) along the other side of the clipboard.  I'm pairing them with 4A bricks (much better alternative than wall warts in that it does not waste and occupy two outlets on the power strip).  It comes out a little cheaper than MCM's without being subjected to exorbitant shipping charges and applicable sales tax.  I would also have a bit of a headroom power wise (.5A more).

The setup is currently hosted through a single USB 2.0 port on an old netbook and draws 11W off the wall while mining.

That is an awesome setup man.
2033  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin profitability calculator test on: August 23, 2013, 03:51:32 PM
Well I would have the projected difficulty increase and time to increase calculated based on the last 2 difficulty increases, BUT also allow the user to adjust them as they desire so they can add in their own speculation if they wish to do so. Otherwise I think it looks good so far. Now just time for some nice user interface.

Edit: Actually it won't let me put in a hardware cost of $0 and it automatically puts it back at $5000.
