Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling on LocalBitCoins? Watch out..

Thank you for informing us OP. As far as dealing locally in person with cash, I feel that is the only way I would accept cash transactions in exchange for my bitcoins (with the exception of well recognized companies/exchanges) everything else is so reversible, and with western Union you have to give out your full name etc to someone over the web that you're sending bitcoins to, which I actually consider to be even more revealing that just seeing my face (at least I get to see theirs too). I didn't realize that LE would try to setup stings like this and it just adds to the list of forseeable problems with dealing in person.
1. Getting robbed 2. Privacy concerns 3. Possibility of them following you afterwards 4. Law enforcement setups, that should really be illegal themselves

If you and or your friends have internet access and would like to make some posts for me on other forums, I will give you guys Bitcoins for your service. It's free in the sense that you don't need to put any money into it to get bitcoins, but not-so-free in that you need to provide a relatively easy-to-do service for me. PM me if you're interested.

For you maybe trolololloolololol On the surface it seems simple, but it is actually very complicated when you combine all the factors that go into winning a match. Runes, masteries, champions, summoner abilities, starting items, item builds, lane matchups and counters, team fights, ward control, dragon/baron objectives with timing/defense, taking down towers, ganks, jungle timers and ganking paths, ability combo's, roaming, farming cs vs kills vs defending objectives etc etc etc. When discussing RTS' and RPG's I always like to refer people to this diagram I found which perfectly explains how I view these types of games. http://thefuntimesguide.com/images/blogs/rockpaperscissors.jpgThe system itself is NOT complicated, developers have just made it so complicated they don't know how to balance it and never will, why do you think they come out with patches so often? If these games were balanced they wouldn't need to patch them constantly. RTS' and RPG's are just essentially a complicated game of rock/paper/scissors, which is why I don't like them, want to prove me wrong? Use mathematics, instead of foaming at the mouth like everyone I've talked to about this does who defends these games. This is why modern FPS games feel so borked as well at times, it's because the developers have gone and made the damage systems etc. extremely complicated, this isn't much of an issue in singleplayer or co-op as you're just up against NPCs but it's a major one when you're playing a multiplayer game and want all players to be equal and for it to all be about skill. Play the game, become a Challenger (meaning you are one of the very best in the world) then come back and tell us how uncomplicated it is. If the game could be boiled down to a simle mathematical formula THAT would be uncomplicated, good luck creating one.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 0.2 FEE!!!! ? am i missing something?

Did you accidentally set the transaction fee to high or was it auto set to that (were you even able to see what the fee was set to before sending)? Were you using the "advanced" feature of their new phone application?
He used the BCI web wallet and went to the advanced send section. There he confused the fee and the amount field. Yeah that's what I figured. People shouldn't be using the advanced tab unless they know what they are doing, guess it's a good thing its turned off by default.

Economy / Speculation / Re: How much of your earning you are converting to BTC?

My conversion is roughly around 5% of what I make. Even though bitcoin has shown tremendous growth potential, especially these last few months, I'm still fairly cautious on going overboard with bitcoin.
[Just for perspective, I put around 30% of my income into various investment vehicles.]
30% of your income to investments is actually quite impressive. Having only 5% in Bitcoin seems low, especialy with the past growth rate and probable likely growth rate of bitcoin price being far greater than anything traditional investment. If I were you I'd bump up Bitcoin to being 33% of your investment portfolio, but then again I'm a long bull
