1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockburn, A big Failure on: May 01, 2020, 12:13:46 PM
I've never seen a big failure project like blockburn this year so far, in 2019 when this project was released it was trading at a whopping 0.93$, and after bounty was over, without sending any token to any bounty hunter the value is now 0.00007$, this will be the first failure project I promoted this year, the use case is something that should work as per my research but the question is, what happened? Exit scam? Or team dumped?

The one that really hurts is bounty hunters not getting any profit from this exit scam, I experienced that on so many projects, developers and investors making good profit and bounty hunters are hoping to receive while the price is good, this is one of the reason why bounty hunters should spend more time on doing a research on every project that they are promoting.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of the two will you choose as a gambler? on: May 01, 2020, 09:33:04 AM
I prefer the email based security I find it more safer as long as you know how to secure your email, I have two factor authentication and phone verification, compare to keys you need to find a good place to store it, many of us store their keys  to their email.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of lying project team on: April 30, 2020, 03:10:03 PM
This is a fact, most times when you see a project claiming they will list in binance or the likes of them, then just know they are Upto something else, this when you really need to carry out some research to know if it's the truth or not and go find out other things which might be false that they have promised just to attract investors.
All exchanges has a support system, if you are interested to invest in a project and they announced that they are going to be listed in a particular exchange, better send a ticket to that exchanges to make a clarification if the project will be listed, trust is very important if you are going to trust them they should be honest and transparent.
1304  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will covid-19 disappear? on: April 30, 2020, 02:44:14 PM

"How long will this take?", We know that the covid-19 virus, by its constitution, does not tolerate warmer weather and should start to disappear with warmer weather.

There are countries with warm weather, but the infection is also high, so I don't think warm weather is going to help, the world will focus in the vaccine and only a vaccine can help us make this virus disappear, there is no short cut for this, even the lock down cannot help us, it only slow down the infection but it's still ongoing.
1305  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining: Halving will destroy the half of us. on: April 30, 2020, 01:29:13 PM
The halving event is coming in a few weeks, rewards for mining will decrease to half specifically from 12.5 BTC to 6.25BTC. Small miners won't be able to contain a very much low block reward it will be lesser than what they are going to spend in mining. Huge mining entities can go on while the small ones will be forced to quit unless they expand their operation.

Poolin.com is one of the mining pools out there, its Vice President talked about it and gave his opinion, " Miners using old equipment will have to disconnect after halving"

The time has come for small miners isn't it?

It's inevitable small miners will have to give up, but I'm sure small miners have seen this one coming and have calculated their profits and losses, I have seen some miners already selling their mining rigs in our local online shop, three years ago you seldom see this kind of mining rigs being sold in that marketplace.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: April 30, 2020, 01:00:45 PM

If I trade my coins to Bitcoin and hodl it for ten years maybe I can earn that amount too, it's hard to earn that for a year even if you have hundreds of accounts participating in bounty.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I introduce a coin that I believe it is good but no one care? on: April 29, 2020, 05:49:06 PM
I have introduced a coin that I believe is good but no one care.
Why people talk a lot on the old coin but ignore the new coin which designed to apply in real-life than just for trading?
Why no one spends time researching about it?

What do you think if today you read about it, but ignore, then 1 year later, you wished to come back this day?

I talked about DRK - a new blockchain already main net - Fast speed - use Proof of Honor consensus - The Fourth Generation of Blockchain in Decentralized Finance.

A project will promote itself if it's good but it's not a we build you come industry, you have to tell the community about what the project is all about and what it can contribute, and you can do it by giving a good announcement and giving them a venue for explanation and introduction like a telegram channel, you don't create something then  it's done, even Nakamoto promote his Bitcoin.
1308  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 29, 2020, 04:11:09 PM
It is very likely that we will be soon witness another crisis after this pandemic event many people around the world are becoming jobless, in other word no financial to face the reality when this such phenomenon exit, add up the mortgage and bills to pay for, it is sure pain in the back to workaround and see what we can do for the upcoming month during this pandemic.

For me I will just thrown away any things that can be sell off, to support what do I need for, and stay on my list to dos after the event I don't have a family for the moment sure give me a time to not worry about.

How about you give me your thought on this event  I might be adapt your idea and get some of it to surest my stability when the time comes,

Our government is giving us dole out but not enough, so my income from bounty hunting is what support us, I'm wishing that the halving will increase the price I'm holding so we can have a rescue financially from this pandemic, my situation is not really that worse, as we can still keep up but I don't know about the coming months, if there are still no cure.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: April 29, 2020, 03:51:34 PM
How long do you think the crisis can last after the epidemic?
What are the most likely events to occur?

Not really that long, in fact people can go to a new normal with a lot of restriction even if pandemic still exist but the one thing that can get it to what we are enjoying the normal activities, is after we got a vaccine that can totally kill this virus, nothing else can get us back to that but a vaccine.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayor Of Las Vegas wants the whole city open, including casinos and stadiums on: April 29, 2020, 09:36:23 AM
Well, she's just been exposed as a mayor who is insensitive to what is happening around, for her money is important that the safety of her constituents, this could back fire to her if she is going to run  for election, no voter will elect an official who acts and talks like that, if she will not turn back and correct her stand it's the end of her career.
1311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies and Problems on: April 29, 2020, 05:57:26 AM
There are so many similar posts like that asking about how to make money here and how to acquire merits but everything has been compiled but they keep on ignoring those pinned messages, newbies should just read a lot of information instead of asking, these forum is already ten years old, and there are no lack of information about how this forum works.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about KuCoin partnerships on: April 29, 2020, 04:35:42 AM
Hello

I have been a KuCoin user for a long time and I'm wondering what do you guys think about their marketing activities and partnerships.

Lately, they have partnered up with pretty unknown projects such as Onchain Custodian, Newscrypto, Banxa..

Any idea what's the point behind this?

There's a possibility that they've paid a big amount just for the partnership, Kucoin will never partnered to any unknown project without passing their criterion and paying a good amount of money,it's all about money and of course they do not want another misleading partnership just like what happened from past partnership.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Giveaway Scam on YouTube on: April 29, 2020, 03:42:22 AM
I helped report it, but it doesn't seem to mean anything because they can just buy a YouTube account that has a certain number of subscribers and try to do another scam people again.

They will keep doing this as long as they have willing victims who do not do research and just grab the offers it's easy to detect they have a comments turn off and they are using a bot to get views and likes now if you still for it, it's your fault for not doing research, have reported also.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reason for ending gambling sessions: Had something else to do on: April 29, 2020, 02:18:01 AM
Interesting findings from "A national survey of online gambling behaviours" by Columb & O'Gara (2017)

Quote
A total of 208 users participated in the online survey. The most popular gambling activity played was Sports Betting (26.9%) and the most commonly used device was Mobile app (68.6%). The main reason for gambling online was ‘To win money’ (84.6%), the main reason for ending gambling sessions – ‘Had something else to do’ (67.3%) and the most prominent emotion experienced – Excitement (60.6%). There were findings related to the severity of gambling addiction (75% – had to borrow or sell to fund gambling) and their attitudes towards online gambling (strongly agreed – 39.9% – The potential dangers of gambling should be advertised).
Source: https://sci-hub.tw/10.1017/ipm.2017.64

* Sportsbetting via a mobile app is the mainstream;
* Main reason to gamble is to win money; and
* Contrary to my belief, the most popular reason for ending gambling sessions is "had something else to do," and not because "running out of money."

If you think about it:
* Gambling is a time-wasting activity; and
* To stop gambling, keep yourself occupied with something.

What do you think about the above findings?
Excitement and to win money is what keeps gambling from playing it's been this way and will always this way, gambling is already embedded on people, usually people will stop gambling when they have money to gamble, now you need a distractions to get away from gambling but I doubt this distractions will help, these kind of gamblers needs a professional help.
1315  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying btc from a forum member on: April 28, 2020, 06:01:33 PM
You should be both transparent and post that transactions for people to see, I have not experienced buying or selling coins from any members here but I do on my social media account because I can easily trace him, compare here where trust is only our guaranty, I wonder who is that trusted member whom you transacted.
1316  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are the markets going up ,? but biz and unemployment is high ... on: April 28, 2020, 03:26:24 PM
Because not everyone is living their life from their pay check, salaried class people are huge but people who own more assets are investors and nothing more.So they are waiting for the perfect opportunity so now started to invest when the price hits bottom which bring the prices to be increased.

You are right not all investors are workers, majority of investors in the market are really investing in the market in the past and still investing they are businessman or those who has savings for investing at the right time and this is the right time for them to invest, halving is coming and market stabilizing.

1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) Coin Future Price ? on: April 28, 2020, 01:07:37 PM

I have some Tron coins in my wallet and it is actually be growing right now since the price is moving high also. But then, I'm not really confident of keeping it for a long time since we know that this coin is centralized and maybe one day, it burst and fall down. And this is also a reason why we couldn't see that TRON could go over beyond $5.
I also have Tron here got it at 12 cents each I will be happy if it at least reaches $1, the developer and the team is very active in media and there's a lot of Dapps and gaming applications created on Tron, it has a bright future ahead definitely worth keeping in your portfolio, but we'll have to wait two more years to see a good price.
1318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: the internet is becoming very very regulated ,how do we fix it ? on: April 28, 2020, 11:50:47 AM

Use VPN and TOR browser. You are done!

It will give you an extra layer of security from displaying your identity over the internet. Ideally TOR browser alone can fix this but just to add a new layer, you can use a multi-city VPN. That's simple!

However, I don't personally support illegal things done on the internet!

I'm also using this it's safe secured and you can access sites that your country restricted, there are cheap VPN and if you have OPERA installed you have a free VPN that you can use, I also recommend to everyone that you use VPN, there's always a risk of your information leaked and of course hackers targeting you.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to get some Ethereum? on: April 28, 2020, 08:12:41 AM
Good time is when the market is in bear, it's always buy low sell high and it will be this way, but right now it's not going to happen, we are ok we are moving up I don;t see Ethereum going back to $140 level , the pandemic storm is over in the Cryptomarket, we can only speculate how high it will be after the halving.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Best Crypto Currency to Invest in this Time ? on: April 28, 2020, 07:31:39 AM
Before few years ago the present market was changed at this moment. I would like to say after few years i must high position place in crypto market. The biggest upside gains will likely come from investing in one of the alternatives to Bitcoin such as NEO that can have much larger profit in this yearly gains. In 2017, NEO went from a price of less than $1 a coin to $50 within 3 months as shown below. Alt coins are being spawned from the rise in initial coin offerings marketed by crypto startups.

There are a lot of Crypto currency worth investing right now I'm bullish on these coins after Bitcoin, Ethereum, obviously litecoin, even though there are reports of no development, Binance coin of course, they are industry leader, there will always demand on their coins of course Tron is always a dark horse, so  many news coming out of this project.
