1501  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus in world on: March 18, 2020, 11:20:59 AM

I am from Croatia and the there are about 30 patients ill.
People are already panicing and empty shelfs in supermarkets which I, personally thing is overrated because there are much worst situations.
Let me know what you think about Coronavirus and what is situation in your state?

One big part of our country is in lockdown, and it's worse because are in no work no pay, and the government cannot afford every worker in all the region, we need help from private sector, it's getting worse because the infected is growing because our city is one big population and the government is having a hard time with social distancing.
1502  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC lost 3K $ in 1 day, Whales Are In Action on: March 18, 2020, 11:06:14 AM
The developer and administrator of Binance Zhao Changpeng stated that Bitcoin will never go zero because he will not trade his Bitcoin investment and it will remain in the market, so there is still hope in the market as long as whales do not pull out their shares in the market like what Zhao Changpeng is doing.
1503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall bellow 3000$ and Gold price will increase? on: March 18, 2020, 09:15:58 AM
We are still in unstable market, anything can still happen but I'm glad with all that's happening in the market Bitcoin is still at $5000 mark, it's still we are better than when we are in the bear market, so far the Crypto market is very resilience, it's going to recover very fast once we see that the the world is improving in battling this epidemic.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] COVID-19 Hits Ethereum Community Conference, Six People Test Positive on: March 18, 2020, 02:52:23 AM
This is the height of carelessness, both the invitee and the invited... This is not a period to gather for functions, meetings or party. What needed to be discussed there that can't be postponed till when the crises is over. Anyway, the deed is done, those with symptoms should self isolate, test and try possible treatments. BTW, I hope this will not be a problem with ethereum market..

Possible treatment is their immune system if they have a very good immune system and they don't have underlying illness, even if there are 50 or 60 years old that can still recover, the virus is only devastating for people with weal immune system I have read one artclewhere one over 70 years able to recover, just need faith and a strong immune system.
1505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin should be bullish at this moment! on: March 16, 2020, 12:44:02 AM
Payment for goods and services through cash can transmit Corona virus, doing transactions through bank, especially cash deposits can also transmit the virus. The safest way that we can create values and pay for goods and services during this time still remain blockchain and those selling off at this moment are doing so because they did not spend time to study the Blockchain technology and how it works.

What happened three days ago is very surprising but it's a big shake up to think, until now people think that Bitcoin is a bubble and no investment is really safe, so people are always in a hurry to dump when they see the market is crashing it's a domino effect and something that can happen in any market that is highly volatile.
1506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: March 15, 2020, 10:36:31 PM
I visited the forum and I just notice that they are not accepting new members anymore,. there's only login page or widget but there is no sign up page anymore, I guess they are contented with the number of people on board now, that they don't want a new member right now, and that's also cutting cost for the forum expenses.
I just now visited cryptotalk its like nearly more than 48 hours after you post this but I can see there is a new member who joined to cryptotalk just before 8 hours. https://cryptotalk.org/profile/230119-karat_minter/

So it seems they are allowing people to sign up from specific countries. Roll Eyes

The registration is still off https://cryptotalk.org/register I read from one post that the admin will open soon the one that sign up was approve when they close the registration but I have tried a VPN to check the registration page and it is still off, it will be announced by the admin if they open the registration.
1507  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will all the world hold China responsible for corona-v on: March 15, 2020, 05:16:37 PM
They should not be held responsible for virus to come out in their region but they are to blame for ignoring all the warning, remember Doctor Li Wenliang who died from the virus already told the government about this virus but instead of taking his advice he was restricted and detained now China and the world suffers because they are late in containing this virus and it's because of their ignorance.

1508  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump has tested negative for Coronavirus Whew!!! on: March 15, 2020, 06:32:59 AM
I had noticed in one of his previous speeches his pace was slower than usual, his voice was raspy and he seemed to be gasping for air and trying hard to not make it evident. I think there is a good chance even if he was infected they might not admit it for a whole host of reasons. I would assume he would be getting top level medical treatment, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is more reclusive for a few weeks.

If that is the case then he is positive and they are trying to hide but if he is indeed positive, he is in real danger remember because he is old and old people are in danger in this Pandemic some of the casualties are those coming from the age 50 to 70, there is no vaccine here yet we will know if he is real infected and they are just trying to hide it if he is quarantined.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 15, 2020, 05:46:40 AM
Guys, in moments such this we are living, with a crisis just ahead of all of us, do you stop gambling?

In my case I have to admit that I will stop for a while.
When I see some crisis or a decrease of my salary (I have my own business), I immediately cut some stuff and gamble are one of the first I stop, like going out and trips too

So, what's your opinion?

By crisis, you mean financial crisis or any global issue like coronavirus. I think it is natural that if you face any issue in your life, this will divert your attention towards gambling and you may not found gambling or anything interesting, unless that issue in your life is solved. Your life is badly effected by the concerned issue and your life routine may change as well because of it.
That's true you will take care first on what matters most in life until everything is stable, I have this thinking that what we have no wis the new stable and we will have to live with it, the difference of this virus compared to to other virus in the past is the fastest way it contaminate from person to person, and this is what makes it big deal.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: March 15, 2020, 04:41:45 AM
Do you think this match date will not be affected by the corona virus pandemic? Since it will be in July, about 4 months from now, do you think that virus has been contained at that time? Many sports have been cancelled lately and possibly in the next couple of months.

The match could be moved if the Pandemic lingers until July but I think the gate sales are ongoing and there are many tickets that have been sold, it will not going to be excited if they proceed without a live audience it may look like a sparring partner if they push through, so it's likely that they are going to re schedule.
1511  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit Support on: March 15, 2020, 03:00:28 AM
Looks like they are working on something at https://yobit.live

That's a scam link & you know it, you f*cking scamming piece of sh*t!

I urge everyone to stay well away from this account & anything it says - tag it & report it!!

I just posted something I came across and you should stop being an ashole!

It's based on the interpretation on how you posted it, people thinks that you are promoting the link and you are linking it to Yobit , we all know that Yobit has a questionable reputation, scammers will create scam platform to attach it to Yobit so Yobit will get all the blame, and there are no additional words on your posts, if that is safe or not when obviously it's not.
1512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Coronavirus and it’s impact on sporting events - please add on: March 15, 2020, 02:10:41 AM
Damn. With all majority sporting events getting postponed, Saturdays will become more boring than usually. It's like all weekends are now international breaks. Today, there was no matches to keep me engaged. That said, I hope that the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic is limited and stopped – if possible, majority of infected persons recover.  From the look of things, it looks like it'll get more critical than it is currently. Let's hope things return back to normalcy soon.

Interruption like this happen when there is world war or pandemic but this pandemic is much worse because all people can get infected and people are restricted in their movement and the economy is slowing down, we cannot go on like this for months, there should be drastic move like a cure, I have read that this is going to be permanent type of virus, and this will really hurt us.
1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: March 15, 2020, 12:56:52 AM
That is why they have been called as shit coins, once they lost their values all the blame will be on bounty hunters because they have no one else to be blamed without facing any issues.Anyway its hard to find a good in 2020 and I hope no potential project will be released until the global economy comes to the older level.Until that stay away from promoting this shits.

People will not invest in ICO anymore but there are some good projects coming out that are not ICO based and these are mining based like IDENA and RING, it will take some time some time before the market recover and investors who will be buying back will prefer to buy coins that are already in the top instead of new coins so project like Emirex will likely expend their IEO indefinitely and so are other projects that do crowdfunding.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the position of the gambler in the market? on: March 15, 2020, 12:33:54 AM
My idea of gambling property is very low and I did not dare to go to the marketplace with gambling to stay in danger.  Want to get experience with gambling and how can I gain experience with gambling?

The only way you can experience gambling is to try it with real small bets from the start, there are a lot of tutorials on Youtube and on the gambling site itself on how to play their games, be sure to check out the rules of the game and to incorporate strategy, start with small bets and just enjoy the game don't force to win.
1515  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 14, 2020, 07:07:43 PM
I've contacted a few friends who hold like me. They're all very concerned by the huge drop, but none has sold a single BTC.
We're all holders.
I know it's huge, but I believe the sharp fall in BTC's price has been caused by a very small number of individuals.
Waiting for data...

I wish we have a data on this but there was movement of incoming funds in the exchange in preparation for the dumps and experts believe that these are coming from whales who are doing panic selling because of what's happening around the world cause by the Corona Virus, it just makes us believe that whales can crash the market and the distribution are not equal.
1516  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus: International Updates on: March 14, 2020, 06:36:33 PM

Well that's good it just show that Korean has a good facilities and they have really out a big fire out, I hope other countries can keep up and release more patients coming from recoveries, I read one news that this virus is going to stay to us for a longer period of time, and this is a big reason why we should take care of ourselves and improve our immune system to combat the virus.
1517  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WHO declares Global Pandemic. How bad is it? on: March 14, 2020, 06:06:31 PM
The Coronavirus subject took over most news channels around the world in the past few weeks. There have been serious and unprecedented measures taken by various countries hoping to combat the spread of the virus, the largest measure being the recent complete lockdown of Italy.

Some people have called it "just a flu". Some people have called it a very serious threat. I agree with the latter, but that doesn't matter. Now the WHO has officially declared the Coronavirus a Global Pandemic.

Economies have been in a real freefall in the past few weeks.. we may be witnessing one of the worst, if not the worst virus outbreak humans have seen in a century. My friends are going as we speak to the supermarkets hoping to find some supplies so they could pile up some food & water for the following possible weeks and/or months of economical, health and supply issues we might be confronting.

I'm ready for what might possibly come, but are you? What do you think? If you haven't taken it all seriously until now, is this the moment you finally agree this is a very serious threat?

Watching everything unfolds in media and social media we can conclude that this is serious, because the number of infected  is growing and so are the death toll, and even your town is in danger of having it, people who watch so much about end day scenario movies will definitely panic and will try to hoard everything, or they might even try to evacuate in the mountain or in an isolated forest.
1518  Other / Politics & Society / Re: COVID-19, Info Stealer & the Map of Threats – Threat Analysis Report on: March 14, 2020, 05:49:03 PM
Thank you for this. Now could someone tell me if the links he just posted are safe links?  Wink

I've checked it and they are all safe links, they are just an article that detailed the Info Stealer &  the Map of Threats which is actually a good and article and a must share because it included the virus total analysis, I hope people are aware of this, and another way for hackers to steal people's information.
1519  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't buy facemasks for the coronavirus! on: March 14, 2020, 05:29:18 PM
They won't protect you and you're just adding more waste to the land and water... They also don't cover your eyes which is probably how most infection gets in.

According to healthline and many other sources, COVID-19/the novel coronavirus has a diameter of ~120nm while face masks only have a filter up to 300nm. I've been looking through information on facemasks have two main purposes:
1. Industrial: This is where someone is commonly working with small particles that need to be blocked going into their respiratory tract, such as wood workers and the like. Thre is also a use case for these in China for their pollution levels since carbon particulates above 100 micrometers in size are known for increasing the risk of asthma and 300 micrometers are known for producing carcinogens pretty quickly (I hope i got that the right way round).
2. Medical: Contrary to what a lot of people would thiink, the N95 model (I'm told is the most popular in medicine) actually just stops the surgeon/practitioner from projecting salivery deposits onto a patient and aren't actually for reducing the amount of infection spread between the two - probably the reason most doctors actually don't wear these. Quarrentine outfits probably give the doctor a certain amount of time in with a patient before they're changed, or have additional tuping to allow for them to receive air from outside the quarrentine unit (either that or they have more advanced filters, there's probably some fancy electrostatics devices for this sort of thing).

You have a very good point but the government tries to give us cheap defense by recommending these face masks which I think is useless, stay at home and minimize your contact and always get the latest local news around you, if some one in your locality reported to have then that's time to stay focus in limiting your outside exposure.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the news we need formarket to recover on: March 14, 2020, 04:54:03 PM
Probably yes, there will be a spike in the global economy if there is a vaccine or cure found for corona virus. But it probably needs lot more time to find the cure or any medicine that is why the panic is real in the market and also among people.

If someone can find medicine in the next one or two month it will greatly helps the price of bitcoin to invrease because we have halving approaching in the may so it will be perfect moment for anyone to get convinced to invest on bitcoin.

I hope I'm wrong but the halving will not help the situation the news for the market to get up must come from the containment of this pandemic or a cure, even a news that a test is being done about it's cure is good news to the world, and for the market and the economy of the world.
