bitcoin bank would be nonsense for me hence what would be the purpose of wallets that used only for bitcoin? FOr sure most people would not tend to put their bitcoin on a bank because its been kept by someone and we really dont like that someone could able to hold our bitcoin.

Someday a nice condo for 1 btc. Over 5 years for sure. For sure in Canada, that would be the case. A house in a regular
neighborhood that is just picket fence and hardworking parents, maybe sometime like that at LEAST 5-10 years.
I think its impossible to buy a nice condo with only 1btc within 5years or more. Its impossible for the price to jump so high that you can even buy a nice condo. Even the cheaper one I dont think 1btc is enough to purchased it in the next 5 years. Well that is just like a dream that I want to go to the mars. But buying a nice condominium unit for just 1 bitcoin? Well maybe you need to wait at least 50 years or even 20 years when the price is going to reach to $20,000 above. Because as of now. Value of bitcoin is not sufficient to buy your own home. Time will come that 1 Bitcoin will be valued at $100,000, I know you guys won't believe but me I am very optimistic with that as we are keeping our support in bitcoin and we have limited supply so with massive adoption the price will increase. I couldnt blame you if your perspective about bitcoin would reach that price but for me it would be impossible even though it would be succesful in the future. It would really need massive adoption for bitcoins price would rise this high. |

There is not sold a lot of clothes these days for bitcoins but I do not think that is bad thing, it just need some time.
The fashion world still needs to find out the bitcoin and a lot of industries need that too so its just that we need some patient.
It would really takes time for apparel industry to adopt bitcoin , there might some sites or merchants do accept bitcoin as a payment to their goods but its not available world wide thats why we should wait and hoping that it would be available soon for that we could able to buy clothing directly with bitcoins. |

And upon realizing that then that is the time when enlightenment is going to enter to your mind and you are going to fix your ways and going to stay away from it. That is the most scenarios that are happening when a person says that gambling fixed his life. People would really change if they already experienced worst case scenario of being wrecked on playing gambling . As you said they would realized in the end and could able to fix their life again and wont intend to do gambling again. One problem is the price of bitcoin can be stable for weeks at a time in which case you can't make any money from trading. Then what happens is that the price of bitcoin moves suddenly, but you make nothing because you are asleep. So you do algo trading, and then you end up losing money because of bugs.
Trading with bots can be profitable but you need a good programmer, if you are not one yourself, and then you need to update the bot constantly in order to respond to new strategies that you may devise. I do not think that its a good thing to do and that it can let you lose a lot of money too, I do not think that you should do it. And the fact is that it can still let you lose a lot of money or sometimes its still even too slow.. If you have trading using bot for your trading job then you can have a good experience if that is profitable, however the market movement does not always move in one direction only, there are times that it moves the other way because of the big factors that might affect the its movement, like for example if there are crisis then you need to set your bot again, I think that is a hard job to do. We cant really rely fully on trading bots because we couldnt assure if we make succesful trades anytime. Its better to do it manually because you could able to control on when to sell or buy on a particular price point. We couldnt avoid such situation on missing the most exact time to buy or sell. |

Btc is one of the only assets that can gain 20% in a day for no apparent reason.... I hope everyone is prepared and stocked up the current price because sometimes/usually the price jumps so fast there is no time to get money on to exchanges etc... You either already have the coins, or you don't....  In last few months we could say that 20% profit in a day is possible but on the current state of bitcoin price it would be hard to gain it because movements are too little to gain profit at all. but in my side its much better to see this price movements on this way rather than on hard pumps and dumps. |

Actually bitcoins are already banned in some countries, or at least was banned, for example Russia, people still used bitcoins even if they were punished for doing that
Some countries banned bitcoin for some reasons and they saw it as a threat on their economy and by other means but still people would surely use it even though it was banned on their country we cant really stop people on using it even though its prohibited on a certain country. |

Me too I'm thinking that bitcoin was designed to be global. Because this is the first currency that we can be used all over the world. And we don't have to convert it to our fiat money in able to have transactions abroad. And good thing that bitcoin has been adopted by many people so we are not going to have any problems for its mass adoption. ITs really designed to be used globally because we are all on a single blockchain which all networks all bitcoins users as long there is internet then we are all connected to each other by means of wallets addresses. you could use Coinbase and Xapo wallete. there are no tranjecstion fee available.i am using coinbase.many people said that coinbase are not too much safe bt i think its safe and secure to me. hope you will open a coinbase wallet for better tranjection because its free and easy to use also
I agree with you, im using coinbase too which dont have transaction fee when you send bitcoin but expect the transfer times would be long . As i understand on OP queries transaction fees are just amount that is being charged for the transaction time. If you put a fee then expect faster confirmations. |

These must be really filthy rich people who have millions of $ of BTCs. I personally would be very wary of keeping millions of my money online like this especially knowing that it isn't safe (example: mtgox and bitfinex hacks). If you try to see the recent transfers on blockchain.info you would really see even more amounts of huge amounts of bitcoins lets say 200- 700 btc transfer which is really awesome that these million of dollars are being transfered in online without any hassle. |

Unpredictable is good word. When you are in.trading business things can go so smooth and you are making nice profit but very soon this can change and you start to lose or getting nowhere. There is no proven strategy that will ensure you to be profitable all the time.
And if you want to earn some substantial amount you need big starting capital.
for me trading is one reasonable job. trading like any other job. oh yes, trading does not require a large capital. we can start from very slightly. for example, we can trade altcoin to conserve our capital. yes I agree unpredictable but having knowledge and experience would definitely up your chances when trading. you may lose some, but from experiences the movement of the coins will not be negative all the time yes that is right that trading is unpredictable but for those who have no experience and having no skill of trading as there are so many people who are really good in trading. and their prediction in trading is also very good. There is no way to predict everything all the time, there are always things that we cannot foresee like sudden economic crisis, natural disasters, business doing fraudulent things, etc. We dont have the capability to predict future and to all thing that might happen next because we are just human after all. Thats why we should really need to make up some research so that we are updated to the latest things. Like on trading its price is too unpredictable. |

No, in my opinion it is designed to last until no one use it anymore. Because that is the only reason why do bitcoin exist, because many people are using it and getting benefited with it by earning bitcoin in an easy way. Do you think that a car will last forever if no one use it, just left there in the garage and got stocked for a long time ago? It's machine will not work anymore because it didn't have any maintenance because it is abandoned by someone. It goes the same on bitcoin it will get disappear in time when no one use it anymore and it will not last forever.
You can't compare bitcoin to a car, it;s not the same. Bitcoin is designed to last and has open source code to be improved day by day. How dumb to compare a car and a digital currency? lol . Bitcoin may not design to last forever but as long people would really use it and adopt it it would sure exist for longer years for sure. Good thing that you are able to escape out of your greediness and addiction with gambling. And it is better if you are going to share it how you did get out of that attitude so that other gamblers would love to get inspired with the way you get out of it. Even I, I was a greedy person but upon experiencing bankruptcy it all stopped. if you send into wrong address then you can not get your bitcoins back. and it will be lost forever and you can not do anything when its happen to you. so be careful when you want to send. You wont really get those bitcoins if you accidentaly sent it to a random address because the owner of that wallet would be grateful that theres a blessing comes to his wallet. lol. They wont mind to give it back or send it back to the owner because thats already a money and its precious for us and dont tend to give it back. |

Bitcoin is never going to replace money because it is going to be different from country because it would not be possible for Bitcoin to take over all currencies.
Maybe that it will take over a currency from a certain country but I think that it is not going to happen.
We don't know what is going to happen in the future but if we are going to base on our modern era. There are many billionaires that are preferring to use money which has been digitized and bitcoin is good to count and consider with it. So I think that is possible in the future but that is not possible to happen in this days. Well, there is no impossible things that would happen as this world changes from time to time, we do not know the future so there is possibility but what we are talking here is the chances and I believe the chances to make that happen is very low. How can a limited type of currency be circulated all around the world? 21000000 ain't enough for all of us. And the rich ones will take advantage of it and will hoard it for its price to increase. The government will take certain steps of precautions before that will ever happen. There are bad scenarios that will happen if you think that bitcoin will ever replace fiat money. Rich people would really use its edge regarding on holding huge amounts of bitcoin. As you said government would really make steps to prevent this thing on happening. Bitcoin cant replace fiat anytime soon no matter how it would be succesful but still theres no chance that could replace fiat in any way. Fiat is an essential part of a lot of states that exist in today's world, and likely a lot of the places and countries around the world would be unable to function without fiat money. A change to something that is *more* backed by something as opposed to just trust would be a huge change. Indeed, fiat is considered as a blood on every state because all things are being moved by money which it circulates on the economy. It wont really function if fiat presence isnt there thats why fiat plays an important role on economic state and thats too hard to bitcoin to replace it. |
