3701  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to become a millionaire, here is the secret formula on: August 20, 2020, 09:08:24 AM
Last time I checked only the person who got couple of millions by selling a product was Mr. Walter White from Breaking Bad series. Lolz.  Tongue
I wish getting a million would been that much easy, but its not. Of course this topic can be discussed with million angles! I mean what are you selling, how you producing it, what is outreach in terms of population etc.
Even a small scale business needs huge funds to be thrown in the marketing chain to grab some business and earn break even value! When the business name gets recongnised in the market then they actually start earning their first buck and then thousands, then millions.

But your formula, great, it's imaginary and not doable in reality.  Cheesy
3702  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh Government Comparing Gaming with Gambling and Cryptocurrency on: August 20, 2020, 04:17:35 AM
Oh come on man, why the heck they would prohibit Lottery ! For God sake, Lottery has to be their in every country. It's just a common man making out his luck in the daily life. What they were thinking while making those guidelines. In my country lottery is played like anything and let's not even think about US countries where these stuff is on the peak!

Lottery can be good way of earning taxes for government and still they go on banning it! And all you need is few bucks to be placed in lottery ticket, for that matter why would one ban whole card system. This is insane news to read and that too from qualified personnel.
3703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marathon $23 Million Contract with Bitmain to Purchase 10,500 S-19 Pro Miners on: August 19, 2020, 05:37:20 AM
I don't know why but the share price of Marathon Patent Group has been falling since last 5 straight days. It is now 8.33% down at 3.41 usd per share. Even though bitcoin price is gradually increasing over the last couple of weeks, the mining company is loosing value fast!
[...]

It was down to -11% for 5 day average. However, this won't be much harmful for this type of company considering it's 1 month of capital gains hitting to 261% on an average. I would say 11% downtime is just time to buy more stocks for it's investors. (NASDAQ:MARA)

Daily price is fluctuating in between 3.25 to 3.67 which is more or less very stable price change. Once the mining gets expanded to another level they will have more liquidity in their funds and that would be the time when their investment will be tested!

Or just put up the dots like this!

It's even best if in some instances we give references to another thread where the answers has already been discussed for that matter.

Just a thought . . .
There should have been auto-link generation when we put @userA within the post. Like those in another social media platforms. It could have been easy to click the user profile.

3707  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: August 13, 2020, 04:25:02 PM
One thing I’m pretty sure about African is that, they surely have good education but it’s always from abroad. When I was back in England, I had like 50% of students around me who were from Africa continent.

I mean it’s a small example but they do have capabilities of scholarships and cracking IELTS exam. Looking at it the number might be higher in USA since that’s most liked destination for study.

If they start bringing this knowledge back in Africa then things could change around there.

Everything takes time, and surely Africa will be in the list.
3708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian banks freezing bank accounts AGAIN ! on: August 13, 2020, 02:34:21 PM
[…]

I think that’s correct.

Bank need people more than they need bank. I mean people can always take money and buy gold, silver, and bitcoin in our case. They can always find a way to store money.

Honestly, bank runs through the money that they collect from people. They charge interest against loans (many kinds), and that’s how they get income.

They can’t just go on blocking the accounts.
3709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian banks freezing bank accounts AGAIN ! on: August 13, 2020, 02:18:08 PM
I don't know what's happening lately in India, there are some movements where applications and platforms like Mobile Legends (MLBB) and TikTok has been banned operating to their country, there are more apps that will be permanently banned in India about 50 more. And now they are banning crypto again, anything that revolves with crypto including the financial institution that deals with crypto which I think is not a good decision considered by their government. I think they also see, and focused on it's bad side coz it might be used in illegal activities and didn't look at the business opportunities that it can provide. This is so sad  Sad

I believe they have taken this decision considering the current financial situation of country. Just look around India and status of finances, it’s breaking apart.

Now you can direct this concerns with the people who are holding big bags of Indian currencies in the form of bitcoin. We can’t deny this includes, entrepreneurs, politicians, Bollywood personalities and more.

I think this fact can’t be denied in first place and government knows how they are hiding their TAXES,,!

These are few of the points we shall consider in discussion.

Well, this is just an assumption but I think it’s close one. And of course bad for rest of us who are trying passive income ways through this.
3710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dead by 2106 on: August 11, 2020, 07:52:15 PM
Sounds cool. May be this is an agenda that should be levied upon new generation who will have to figure out different ways to survive through stoppage of bitcoin.

What I learnt from the thread is bitcoin forking could be one of the way but in the past things have shown different times to us. Forking has troubled btc rather than giving us opportunities to invest and use them. Forks could be disastrous too.

I think developers could just add up more units of btc into the circulation by continuing the chain on another network. Something like BTC-2.0 or like that.

Now I’m not sure how it works, but I do know that current circulation is limited and that’s why the 86 years of timeline. But, why can’t we just go ahead with 2.0 version but it shouldn’t be fork.
3711  Other / Off-topic / Re: John McAfee "arrested" in Norway after wearing thong as face mask? on: August 11, 2020, 07:09:56 PM
Dam, he looks funny in that. So that’s what he can afford after having this much money. Lolz.

Why these people act like cartoon in real life that’s big question.

Also if you checkout that news link then you can see the cops are also not wearing mask neither his lady. So what the heck, why he should be arrested if they are not even following the rules.

Anyways, both of them sucks.  Grin
3712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 10, 2020, 05:07:19 AM
In a short while that I have been in cryptocurrency I have seen so many crypto project and fantastic budget and planned you see that some of them still left the project unfinished some even do stop the crypto project without any pre_information about the sudden change of plans concerning the particular project so what do you think about the crypto project that have been suspended half way , what do you think that should be done for this kind of the attitude of crypto developer's concerning crypto project abandoned project.

Ah, thats very easy to understand why!

1. Scammers
2. Illogical Roadmaps
3. Shitty management team
4. Sometimes we have seen bounty managers running away with whole token budget (LOLZ)
5. People not holding the coins and diluting the market cap.
6. No generation of further funds to develop the project.

On contrary it's Scam projects which always holds the first position.

Stay Safe!
3713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 08, 2020, 08:26:16 AM
AS for many days, the crypto market is now in good conduction as compare from the last three to four months. But now a new thing in coming to altcoin, that the prices of all altcoins are fluctuating very badly and not able to stable in a single position for at least an hour. So, what should we do in this dramatic conduction of altcoin?

I am not sure what is new in this one since we already know that all the cryptocurrencies are unstable or the proper word we use is "Volatile".

Just getting to the point, there doesnt seems any news floating around where it would be affect all the altcoins. Max to max you can say something about ETH since its newest version of 2.0 underway.

Rest of them just jiggling around as matter of high volatility fundings. You know the "anyone with any amount can come in come out of the market". That's what it is.

3715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stock/Forex Trader and Cryptocurrency Trader on: August 07, 2020, 04:16:20 AM
Does it means, when you totally well known to trade Forex/Stock, does trading cryptocurrency will also be the same?
Like if you owing in Forex/Stocks, you should also do the same with cryptocurrency?

Since this is question is completely based on personal opinion I would say that they are totally different!

Different in many ways. The core difference is their Nature of Regulations

I mean both of them are not getting same attention by the public as one would get. Lets say, forex/stocks is more or less based on some reserve fundings, public funds, government investments are also included in this. This make it very very stagnant to move up and down, thus making it investments for longer terms with few exceptions.

This is not the case with cryptocurrency. They decentralised, free to move with any amount of transaction and there is only one backbone for this, whale investors!
No government, no back ups so its more volatile and can move upside down at any tipping point!

Both can not be implemented with same strategy of TRADING. Consider them different always!
3716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 US Congressman wrote to IRS to ease tax on POS rewards on: August 06, 2020, 05:05:02 AM
Will this encourage more investors to get on-board if the IRS will somewhat heed this call?
That's a damn interesting letter, and I thank you for posting it here OP.
I'm kind of shocked that congressmen are actually aware of their existence, much less concerned with the fair taxing of rewards from them.

They are congressman!! They need to support the nation by investing into the Presidential party and showing their upliftment through money, developments and supporting the Presidents ordeal.

This is big conspiracy and we as common man may not even understand the roots for same! They may not be thinking about the best interest of the technology but for their own benefits.

They know very well this is more or less public based investment and they can earn great deal of royalty and use that money in their Political Games

Just a heads up to OP. You can also easily copy and paste the gradient color of bbcodes that is automatically generated by these website. [1] https://www.stuffbydavid.com/textcolorizer with a lot of ease. It'll also enable user to modify their text whether they want it to be bold, italic or even adjust their size. Note that some of the fonts available on that website are unable to be used for bitcointalk.

Interesting tool.

I will quote your message in the original post for greater visibility.

Automatic stuff is always great unless you have to try things manually and understanding the basics behind the scene! So my way will go for those who wants to understand the basics.  Smiley

Thanks for good share.
3719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / A doubt regarding Timelock feature on: August 04, 2020, 04:07:40 PM
With nLocktime field, we can restrict transaction to be relayed or broadcasted after either 'n' number of blocks are mined or specific time has been elapsed. If we try to relay transaction before nLocktime has elapsed, transaction will be marked invalid and won't be broadcasted further by the first full-node which will receive the transaction, right?

But when we lock UTXO with CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY, we have to set nLocktime of a transaction in which UTXO will be referenced as input greater than the CLTV locktime of the UTXO, right?

My question is, can we relay the above transaction immediately? OR we have to wait for nLocktime to elapse due to the reason mentioned in first line?
