4041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk SwC Championship Poker Series(50 mBtc added by SwC) on: April 12, 2020, 07:41:57 PM
Yes, it was good game with amazing turning points at every stake!

Well the most thrilling All-in game was between youcantwin and ceehe i guess when POT was with 10 K chips.  Tongue

I loved it the most, first both were putting all the chips they could, youcantwin ended up putting all and lost to Ceehe with pair of QQ.

Here is the click for same, it literally gave me goosebump while staring at the screen... LOLZ

4044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: April 12, 2020, 08:55:24 AM
Technically speaking AirDrops will make you beg later.

They are best way to dilute the solid market for particular coin. They never get listed as stated by users in above discussion.

However, if they get listed then there will huge dump by all the airdrop participant and thus making the price go shit, (i mean literally shit!).

This worsens the whole project and that coin become useless for further roadmap.

So stop thinking about it in profitable way for short gains but also think about it in long term, how it can affect the project itself.

AirDrop -> First reason for project failure.  Roll Eyes
4045  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchange? on: April 12, 2020, 08:06:07 AM
Good to share that post.

However, there are already some of the good shares back in time as well.

Collectively they link to :- Best exchanger lists, How to choose best exchanger, Qualities of exchanger etc.

You can refer them as as mentioned below as well add some inputs if any.

Top 7 Exchanges : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5227596.0 (Article by user)
Important Features to look for : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028322.0 (Post with Poll)
Hacked Exchanges (To stay precautious) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5090869.0 (Good Post for safeguard)
Some of the average exchangers : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237436.0

These are all collected from around the forum. I am just sharing it since many topics already cover the exchanger listings.
4046  Other / Meta / Re: POLL: Initial merit provided to older established accounts on: April 12, 2020, 05:24:24 AM
The change is very important as time flies.

Just take an example this thread itself, it has made you think about the merit system in different way today. A debate, or discussion is held as to whether the merit system was fair for oldies and new one's equally?

Now here is whats happening . .

1) Many of them are agreeing to the merit system's existence.
2) Some of them are disagreeing to it.
3) Go through the thread and you will read most of them were actual contributor to the forum in the long journey of forum.

Additionally,

Many account farmers are around the forum, they are reduced in numbers OR can be caught very easily if they try to do merit farming.

**If by any means these farmers had legends, hero etc accounts earlier (before 2018) then I am 100% sure that they will now fail to achieve enough Merits as they are most probably shitposters thus making their accounts baby-corn!

Taking the first & second part in mind, I guess merit system is fair enough and it was OKAY to have pre-merits to oldies.
4047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good KYCless exchange ? on: April 12, 2020, 05:11:40 AM
What's good these days ?  My old exchange quadriga went bust and I'm looking for a trusted exchange that's simple and doesn't require registration or personal info. just email at most.  I only have small amounts and only want to convert and not neccessarily withdraw.

You will need to analyse yourself first so that you can choose the best exchanger which doesn't require KYC.
Based on your Country of your origin make the list of exchangers available within your country (locals) and also some of the global one.
Checkout if the KYC is required or not, and mostly choose the local one. This will help you in the future if you ever get busted for some reasons then you can fight back with legal jurisdiction.
With the locals you will have higher rate of conversion on faster basis and you can also speak with the trader itself. This would be more or less local trading platform rather than exchanger. Will be far safer too.
4048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Market Cap to Determine High & Low of Market on: April 12, 2020, 04:45:12 AM
Market cap = price x money supply

You must have misunderstood the trader.

I guess your formula is partially correct but it has to be

Market cap = price x Number of Coins in circulation

This is in case of crypto currencies. Moreover, even if you have to calculate it for a company value then it has to be prices x shares of company in the market.

What do you mean by money supply exactly ?

@OP so it is anyway clear that market cap is actually driven by the change in prices or circulating supply of the respective coins.
4049  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk SwC Championship Poker Series(50 mBtc added by SwC) on: April 11, 2020, 04:05:10 PM
To those players that registered on the game at SwC can anyone of you who's online dm me the password? It seems efialtis is offline for an hour right now. I tried to dm him on discord as well but there isn't any beep. Don't worry I already give the chips on his account, I don't want to be late right now unlike from the past tourney. Thanks in advance!

I am also waiting for the same. We are on same page!!  Cheesy

4051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading platforms carrying us into 2020 on: April 11, 2020, 05:10:45 AM
There are N-number of trading platforms but now a days I am moving from core crypto platforms to IQ options and toro sites.
Since they offer both fiat and crypto trading on their platfroms as well as they are old established firms they seems to be far more easier to trade on.
Call-Put options are far easier and quick to understand.
The AI inputs on % call and % put functionality will always help me get proper trade all the time.

Sincerely, binance and wazirx is also good option as they have grounded themselves pretty quickly and with lots of users around the platform you can swiftly trade with greater volume.

This is interesting game play to have altogether winning.

I would be interested to join this game if @yahoo62278 allows for it.

I have already registered on the SwC.

Since there is a spreadsheet and limited (?) number of participants, I would like to know if there is any chance to squeeze in?
I think the max number of players can be 1000 so you are very much welcome to join. You need to send 200 chips to efialtis and the joining fee is 1000 chips.
The micro table is shit lol
Moved to better table : https://play.swcpoker.eu/?tableId=41317574

Ok thanks for the heads up. I will confirm my participation in few hours before we start for the today's tournament.

I will get to know the SwC table before I enrol. I will send the funds to stated user asap. Hopefully i will be replied with quick response just in case if needed some assistance regarding joining? @efialtis Thanks.

Anyone is still welcome to join. Just pay the fee and get the pw. The final game is not out of anyone's reach to this point.

Yes, I am hoping to join today. Let me do some homework on the poker that we gonna play.  Tongue
Also, I am still walking myself through the spreadsheet and all to know how exactly are we sharing the prize pool.

4055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canada include the bitcoin. on: April 10, 2020, 08:39:36 AM
snip

Thats something from Australia.

However, there had been many good news like this in the past but they have not affected the bitcoin price sufficiently enough to move upwards !

AS far as I have experienced there was only one time when bitcoin went crazy and that was in 2017. Some of the striking reasons can be read here : https://www.coindesk.com/900-20000-bitcoins-historic-2017-price-run-revisited

Pretty sure that your news will impact bitcoin in coming days. But for now, market is more or less being driven by Economic Crisis situation (COVID effect).

4056  Economy / Economics / Re: Cutting of Salaries in Indian Companies - Failed Future? on: April 10, 2020, 08:14:45 AM
This is unfortunate, of course. But on a wider horizon, I guess these people who are still receiving a portion of their salaries are still very much lucky considering that a great many workers right now are totally deprived of their regular salaries. And many of the workers who are not receiving their wages anymore are mostly those who are too dependent on it for their daily needs.

Looking at the table, if the value is indeed in USD, those workers whose salaries will have a cut belong to those who have really nice paychecks. Even the lowest category with an annual income of 0.12 - 0.2 million USD per annum has a monthly salary of at least 10,000 USD. Or did I get this right?

Yes.

This one is for all the management staff who is at companies Director level or Senior most position who are taking huge take home salaries right now.

Since as you go down the line, the salaries are not affected much which is tiny portion and company can pay them easily.

But for the lord persons up there its gonna be huge cutting since it will benefit the firm most.
4057  Economy / Economics / Re: Cutting of Salaries in Indian Companies - Failed Future? on: April 10, 2020, 08:10:45 AM
Recently, India has completed 15 days of complete lockdown and now our employers have started ciruclating the comunication where we are told that there will be cut down in the salaries according to the % slab as follows :

** The values are in $
*** The values are converted from INR to USD per annum range

Looking at the cutting figures it can be seen that no employee is gonna be happy to receieve what they are goign to get.

The fact is most of the employees are still working from the home being IT personnel.

However, this doesnt change the fact that we still have to pay our EMI's, Daily food and home expenses. The life is still breathing but the money is substantially gone down.

Now everyone has to "adjust" their life with minimal money and look for the future plannings. As we do not yet know how and what the situation be in the upcoming days, this is serious matter up front.

snip

There is no news regarding the Private sectors. Being employee at pharmaceutical industry we have been circulated with internal office communication for the same.

When spoke with other friend circle in the town, they have same communication, and on an average there is sureshot same salary structure everyone is getting paid.

*This is gonna be effective from the April months paycheck.

On the other hand it has been already publicly announced regarding cutting of Government official salaries by as much 30% !

News follows here : https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/after-30-pc-salary-cut-mps-to-lose-another-rs-27000-per-month-in-allowances/articleshow/75035267.cms?from=mdr
4058  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that Freebitco.in game is not provably fair. on: April 10, 2020, 03:12:11 AM
not quite, i have had more rounds today, i lost 10 times on another round , but i won 1 times and recovered my lost satoshi, say wathever u say this is not a provably fair game... also a friend played some months ago and he lost 17 times in a round, for y'all if you dont want to risk your satoshi, dont bet on this website.

Tell you what. While I think there's no way for us to really find out if the "win chance" percentage is actually legitimate or not and while I'm definitely no probability or statistics expert, even if we manually set it to 50%(hence lower potential winnings), having such a losing streak is in no way impossible. And taking note that you had your multiplier set to 2 hence your chances of winning is lower than 50%(47.50%). Don't underestimate the -2.5% difference.

Even with that 2.5% house is at its winning side already. I guess OP will have to play more often to increase the odds of winning. Frankly speaking its all about money business and I have read threads who summed up that "more your play, higher your winning chances"

Off-course it is always part your consistency which will bring back the losses along the way.

Why is it that every few months there is someone who is surprised their "Martingaling strategy" has suddenly failed due to >15+ losses in a row.

We have all been there. We discover dice and see how easy it is to make money. Basically bet $1 and if you lose, bet $2 next round and you will always win. Its impossible to get over 10 losses in a row correct? Wrong.

I think I was cleaned out before with like 15-16 reds in a row on 50/50 dice a few years back. Basically built up my account for weeks with martingale and eventually it failed that one time and lost the entire account.

Yes. The Martingale Strategy. Been on the tip of my tongue since my first reply and simply didn't mention it instead because I forgot what it was called. Been a victim of that too in the past when I was in my younger years. You quickly learned that for that strategy to be viable in the slightest, you would need A LOT more capital than what you thought. I completely underestimated how fast the doubling could grow.

Martingaling : That is something really new for me. That's the learning today from gambling side. I will research more on this strategy on my own to see the chances of winning.
4059  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 09, 2020, 04:06:56 PM
I kinda love FreeBitco, though i have not earned much of the money from this site.

I am rolling every single day since 6-7 months now but it seems to be very hard to become luck one.  Tongue

I am willing to publish the referral links on PTC websites as well as rotators. I just want to confirm whether people these sites are working for you guys ?

It would be amazing if you share your experience.
4060  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️🎰🔥 ₿ ✌️ <<Davinci's Gold Casino - Bitcoin Friendly >> ✌️ ₿ 🔥 🎰❤️ on: April 08, 2020, 08:10:05 AM
300% welcome bonus? 100% cashback?

Sounds too good to be true tbh...
Yes, it's pretty good with a big bonus offer like this, and what confuses me is, what if we lose whether the bonus stays in when we have risked all our money in the game?

Hello Cratoon,

The bonus money and deposit money go into the same balance. You cannot withdraw funds until you meet the wagering requirements (playthrough) of the bonus. If the conditions are met to cash out, you cash out the allowed balance.

Ok that make sense. The wagering requirement will actually keep the House very healthy since win-loss is 50-50 all the time. The playthrough will keep the House on higher side of winning though there is 300%  Tongue

Great strategy for BOTH, players and house itself. I am loving this game though. Awaiting my cashbacks and first ever winnings.
