The site can help to customize colors and get whatever you want, with color code too. So I don't think your thread is needed. Sorry.
http://patorjk.com/text-color-fader/
The site is not secure, it's better to use https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp

Using Hex code might be better than color name, since we can pick what color whatever we want it. Just replacing color name with hex code

Code:
[color=hex code] your text [/color]

Example :

JAWHEAD999

Code:
[color=#000000]J[/color][color=#0d1a00]A[/color][color=#1a3300]W[/color][color=#264d00]H[/color][color=#336600]E[/color][color=#408000]A[/color][color=#4d9900]D[/color][color=#59b300]9[/color][color=#66cc00]9[/color][color=#73e600]9[/color]

Yes, Hex code is also good idea. But considering not everyone knows it or finds difficult to input it for speedy work, adding simple name could make miracles too.

How can one  adjust 3 - 5 images in one raw of the table so that each of them occupied the cells with the same width? Do I need the determined BB codes for that? I have tried a few times with no success.

Hello,

You can use the resize code for your images and make them uniform.

Let us take random images as below, they have different dimensions as you can see.

Next half I have successfully rendered them into single row and the width stays the same for all.

IMAGES IN A TABLE - SAME ROW SAME WIDTH

______________________________________________________________________________________________________

CODE :

Code:
[table]

[tr][td]__________________________________[/td][td]__________________________________[/td][td]__________________________________[/td][/tr]
[tr][td][img width=200 height=200]https://i.imgur.com/53KsFDF.jpg[/img][/td][td][img width=200 height=200]https://i.imgur.com/lVkVIPi.jpg[/img][/td][td][img width=200 height=200]https://i.imgur.com/QkWaaNG.jpg[/img][/td][/tr]

[/table]

SOLUTION

According to the aspect ratio of your images you can set the width and height.

The code for it:

Code:
[img width=200 height=200]yourimage.com[/img]

Now the width & height parameter will change as per your image dimensions. For me 200 x 200 worked fine.

Hope you will get success this time.

No. Meta is for things are related to forum issues. You can move it to Beginners & Help or Off- topic. The first is accepted by moderators too.

The site can help to customize colors and get whatever you want, with color code too. So I don't think your thread is needed. Sorry.

Great we are on the new section now. Hope our fellows will find it helpful.

Thanks mate!

Edit:

Yes of course we have many options to choose from. But note that not all of them works on this forum. I have tested some shades, they will just not show up.

I have sorted out the one's which are working fine here.

In addition to this, it helped me make complex table which I am recently trying to excel in.

REFERENCE THREAD FOR THE COLORS

BBCODE for Color : [color=input your color name]  your text here  [/color]

Well, ideology behind this thread is to quick guide through different colors and their shades that can be used in the Forum.

Since our forum has given limited option under "Change Color" menu, I believe one can explore various outcomes as stated in this guide.

This is simple BBCODE with variants and one can easily find them online but I took some hard time to create the complex BBC table (lolz) and have represented these codes down below.

Applications :  In general it will be helpful to everyone. On the other hand it could be quick learning guide for the Signature Creators who are new in the field.

Just a heads up to OP. You can also easily copy and paste the gradient color of bbcodes that is automatically generated by these website. [1] https://www.stuffbydavid.com/textcolorizer with a lot of ease. It'll also enable user to modify their text whether they want it to be bold, italic or even adjust their size. Note that some of the fonts available on that website are unable to be used for bitcointalk.

In the following Table just change your desired text, colors and length as per your texting length.

This might look little complex but its as easy as changing the given text to yours.

This one is also good suggestion. Thank you @OcTradism

Pre can help you to polish your table but it is complex and advance table. If you don't mind to spend time to learn it, you can begin with it.

Alice’s input 1 btc in       →     Alice’s output 1BTC back to her address
Bob’s input 0.75 btc in       →     Bob’s output 0.75BTC sent back to his address

3728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The importance of support resistance on: July 31, 2020, 04:48:50 PM
In the crypto world though things are messy at any given point. I mean the support which has been analysed in the initial phases by using any technical analysis doesn't last longer. That is why crypto trading and it's assets are very volatile. With the current scenario we can only rely on the real time data and news surrounding the crypto world. They fluctuate the coins drastically and thus making no use of support resistance.

I am not sure how many of you will agree upon this but it is the case now a days. If you start calculating then you will find there are not just one two or three but many resistance levels that will come out eventually. So be careful while targeting these levels.  Cheesy
3729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Etherium will now be the right decision? on: July 31, 2020, 02:24:59 PM
The price of etherium is just rising and rising.Updating their network system may be one of the reasons.I look forward to the advice of experienced seniors.I am a small investor and trader. What would be the right decision for me to invest in Etherium now?

You can always invest in etherum every time you want, either the market is bullish or the market is bearish. But before you proceed to invest, did you study the charts? are you aware of the next market movements? can you predict the next stage ? Those are personal questions you need to be able to answer if and when you are ready to invest in etherum. Because trading, investment is a personal decision.

Sure it's personal investment but technical analysis also holds same weight considering money matters. The OP should go through deep analysis and they can find various discussion threads on ETH in speculation section.

What I have read and experiencing about ETH is simple: it's logical investment for future. We have seen the ETH at 1000 USD plus back in 2017 year. So why not consider it as your target point and invest today. :-)

Only 1$?
I think XRP will archived Target 30$ until end of 2021 Smiley
In Aug.2020 XRP price will increase to 0.3$ and 1 year later XRP price x100 and archived 30$

Man, thats way lot of expectations for over-hyped coin. I don't think with the ERC20 contract that was signed with Ripple company in the view that they will serve the banking sector was successful. I am not sure why you guys think that this coin is still gonna make it 1000x the current value.

Let us be professional while predicting the price agenda for the coin like XRP. They have not progressed as per their roadmap and neither new developments are underway for the same.

I could just imagine in dream land that XRP will hit $30. Those were the days back in time when people used to say XRP gonna hit 100 bucks, it was all hoax.

i also want an app like that so that we dont need to open our browser all the time  . they can optimize our freebit experience too inside the app
I agree with you. Their site has good optimization for a mobile device, but it would be better if FBC will create a mobile application for ios and android with a notification every hour.

True. Whenever I keep the hourly ticker on it doesn't give me any tick sound or timer sound at all. All the time I miss the hourly roll and it reduces my daily rolls always.

For laptop/pc it works fine but we are not available on the pc every time. Over a smartphone if we have an app, it should have vibrate mode too. Like we can set out the time timer for vibrator, 1 minute or until we checkout the app.

That way we won't miss single roll and can keep up the roll limits to 18+, thats my highest I have rolled in a day, sleepless rolls Tongue

Another great tutorial I must compliment you for your hard work and the way you have explained it. Creating table is not an easy task, it can be complicated for many members. Your tutorial has made it very simple. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words, i faced problem myself so thought to share it with everyone.

OP, you tried to do something helpful, I know and appreciate your effort but for your future threads, I advise you to do research before making a post or thread.

Create a table with some columns and rows is a challenge for people who don't know how to do it. I faced such challenge and even you have a table template from someone else, you must practice a few times to create yours well.

Search button you can get the link here or look at the top of the page, under your username and avatar, there is a search tab, click on it and be directed to the same link I gave you.

Some suggestions if you want to use tables on Bitcointalk

That is amazing tutorial. Thanks for sharing it. Honestly I tried to search it myself but it wasn't coming up in the search. It is always good to revisit such tutorials given the time new people are joining this forum all the time.

Hopefully they will hit one or the other tutorial.

I tried with set example for easier look. Will add other styling and formatting as well. Thanks for the share.  Cheesy

3733  Other / Beginners & Help / Tutorial - How to create Table in the BitcoinTalk Forum on: July 31, 2020, 07:18:47 AM
It's time for new lesson! Many of the people might be struggling while creating the Table in the forum. (If you dont want to go through whole tutorial just skip to bottom for quick table code)

The BBCODE is there but it feels complicated while making the table in the first place. Especially for the new person it's hard to make one. So I decided to simplify the process of making table with this tutorial. After this you will be able to make organised data in the tabular form.

I hope it help you guys.

Step - 1 Where to find the Table Buttons?

Starting from the left, the first button defines "table"code. That is
Code:
[table][/table]
While creating the table you will have to make the whole table rows, columns inside this code.

So very first step is to start with the same.

Example,

Code:
[table] Row 1  Column 1   Row 2  Column 2 [/table]

Second button represents ROW and is represented by
Code:
 [tr][/tr].

Example,

Code:
[table]  [tr]  Row1  [/tr]  [/table]

*This only represent you have to make the rows and columns inside the starting and ending table code.

Third button represents COLUMN and s represented by
Code:
[td][/td]

Example,

Code:
[table]  [td]  Column 1 [/td]  [/table]

Step - 2 Adding the rows & columns

From the above guidelines we now know what button is used for what and how to use the code as whole. Now let us merge above rows and columns to create the actual table.

Let us say I want to make simple 2X4 Table, viz., Two Columns and Four Rows:

I will start with table code :

Code:
[table][/table]

Will add the First Row

Code:
[table][tr] BitcoinTalk [/tr][/table]

Now here is the tricky part. You have to define Row 1 element belongs to which column. So we will insert it in the COLUMN code.

Code:
[table][tr][td]BitcoinTalk[/td][/tr][/table]

In similar fashion I will go on adding another column in the SAME ROW

Code:
[table][tr]   [td]BitcoinTalk[/td]     [td] Admin [/td]          [/tr][/table]

Notice that this is Row 1 only. We have just added another column in it by inserting another td..../td code. This is how you keep on adding columns.

Now, let us add second ROW.

Code:
[table][tr]   [td]BitcoinTalk[/td]     [td] Admin [/td]          [/tr]
       [tr]   [td]Bitcoin Discussion[/td]     [td] Theymos [/td]          [/tr][/table]

and here notice that I have just added the second line with row and column code. The table code remains as it is from start to end. That is table...../table.

Here is 2 x 4 Table in complete form.

BitcoinTalk Admin
Bitcoin Discussion Theymos
Altcoins Discussion ABCD
Meta Section XYZBC

EXAMPLE TAKEN AS IT IS FROM THE OTHER THREADS:

Full Member120100
Sr. Member240250
Hero Member480500
LegendaryRandom in the range 775-10301000

The Code for above table is :

Code:
[table][tr][td][b]Rank[/b][/td]   [td][b]Required activity[/b][/td]    [td][b]Required merit[/b][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Brand new[/td][td]0[/td][td]0[/td][/tr]

There are more things which gonna affect the US economy in the long run.

US is not handling the situation of covid19 in greater ways and it will lead to more chaos in terms of businesses and jobs. They have to handle their money flow that is spent on the security and military personnel of USA thus making it worst over the time since billions are actually spent over WAR rather than HEALTH industry.

According to the latest news, we will have vaccines for covid19 by December to January 2021 meanwhile making the US situation two to three fold worst! (over 6 months)

Once the vaccine is out US will have to spend lot of money to buy vaccines in the first place and have vaccination campaigns throughout the nation. It costs hell lot of money and I am afraid US will already have gotten into worst GDP that could be possible.

So definitely GDP isn't gonna recover this year for USA.
3735  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Life Insurance using Cryptocurrency on: July 31, 2020, 05:09:37 AM
Surely it is vital part of our life these days. I mean you never know what things will come up in your day's basket an accident, long lasting illness, death etc. Considering the today's lifestyle things are messy and we may not bear the health issues that properly as people used to do back in the days. They used to live longer, healthier and always had death zones in the late 90's age.

It's alarming these days this rate has reduced almost to 60 years old. It's better to get insured with these claims and load some of the financial stuff onto these companies.

It does make you loose money in the process since you dont get ill every year and you don't die every year (!). But still having it is important part.

I like the idea of investing with crypto currencies but for that the whole infra of insurance company will need to run on crypto assets. I don't think lot of people will become attracted to it in the first place as it's money matter and only person who knows crypto will invest in that way.
3736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your plan when Bitcoin will reach a new ATH? on: July 31, 2020, 04:17:30 AM
The question is what and when is the ATH for bitcoin?

We can not really define the ATH value of bitcoin because it is ultimately undefined unless and until you have some standard reference.

What i mean is, there is no limit for the money that can be spent on the BTC thus, there is no limit for it's market capping. In such scenario the value could keep rising all the time.

In addition to this limited supply of the BTC and it's ever growing popularity will bring more investments in the future and value will just keep rising.

May be it's all about how you keep holding until highest sell point, then re-buy the coins then repeat the whole scene.

It's all about booking your profits when the time is right!
3737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable, trading with Forex or trading with Crypto Currencies? on: July 30, 2020, 12:30:33 PM
I disagree on the real currency trades. They are too slow and have snail movements to be honest. If you comparing them with the current speeds then behold, it's because of economic turbulence of Corona. It's more or less fake movement.

On the normal day it would have zero effect and all the currencies will be moving one or two bar ups and down.

However, when we get into crypto the movement is volatile and you get an opportunity to trade with confidence. You know very well there will be at least significant change in the market so as to grab pointy profits.

Just my thoughts. Everybody has their own choices. :-)

Dam can't guess at what extent people could go to earn money. That is a really shameful act in the first place I mean. Considering how fast we are moving in the fabric of internet of thing (IoT) we need to put ourselves at higher securities. It's like we have only one security gate but these hackers will always develop a new back door and before you could even notice they will hack it all.

That's the problem and for sure same happened with those who find
this news until today.
It's really better to separate your crypto device from your regular one.

Yeah, that is why I have been using Ledger Nano since long. It's better to move earnings, investments into it and keep it disconnected from the internet. Since internet is only the gate to reach the funds in the hardware wallets. Back in time when I used to do mining I had the ETH address set to Ledger directly, din't even needed to check the wallet since everything goes off the network without seeing it. On the other hand we all know blockchain's integrity is strongest one against such attacks.

Where we loose the fund is online wallets, exchangers, contracts etc. they are directly connected one and liable to hacks.

Like I came to know the news from you now, but what if I would have gone through the process of downloading those images and gotten hacked already. It would have been useless to read these articles right now. Pity.
