3801  Economy / Economics / Re: Cannabis company in Colombia using blockchain for their crops. on: July 06, 2020, 12:28:35 PM
(Enabling cannabis growers to trace their crop from seed to sale). Together for its management & compliance platform, ensuring confidence in the quality of medical cannabis & adherence to government regulations.
.
.
.

What does it take for companies to use blockchain technology more?

First of all I am not sure how are they going to do the tracing thing if they are not able to do it in the real world with real resources being so handy. Let's not forget narcos, wolf, Marco Polo and more uncountable personalities who did it even when things were tighter on regulations side.

So my back question is what things they are going to put on blockchain so as to make it untraceable transaction?

I felt for a seconds that underworld might just hire some IT guys and use blockchain technology for their anonymous business. This act of cannabis company can actually give more ideas to such people around the world. Lolz.
3802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Three basic Market Analysis to Becoming a Successful trader for Newbies on: July 06, 2020, 08:14:59 AM
Those are goof points. I usually go with bitcoin and few rare altcoins (usually none) to trade the money. When it comes to the bitcoin, you dont have to study it on much deeper side since all its facts and patterns are already known to us! It fluctuates a lot with tortoise movement but it does it and over the time can boom us with profits.

However while trading with other coins, all these three points as per OP do matter a lot. Sentimental analysis is real enemy for a trader. I mean you must have heard of terms like panic selling, FOMO etc these are all associated with the traders sentiment and if they dont overcome it then they make us loose.

Both other points does apply to real stocks or crypto's since they are the basis of whole exchange platform and drives the prices accordingly.
3803  Economy / Economics / Re: The freer the market, the freer the people? on: July 06, 2020, 07:58:12 AM
If you are saying free in terms of free to buy, free to transact both in unlimited way then I guess yes its a good thought and thats why community is growing these days. Tell you what people literally earn in bitcoin and keep the money as it is so that they need not worry to pay any taxes. They wanna save their margins like that way. With the time bitcoin payment portals will rise and we will see large number of transactions getting made over this portal.

There might be chance this free will spending will attract more customer / users of bitcoin.

For me yes, this free market brings more than enough and keeping myself free from other huddles of using my money.
3804  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long can the gov keep up the economic lie: downplaying the pandemic? on: July 06, 2020, 04:05:47 AM
Everyday via TV citizens are reminded:
- Virus is just temporary
- Vaccine coming (it may not)
- V shaped recovery
- Deaths will be low
- Virus will magicly go away by easter  Roll Eyes
- might do another simulus check  Roll Eyes
- unemployment is low

The goal of these lies are to get people to keep spending and not sell 401k.
How long can keep the lies going, before people realize we're fucked

Scientifically & Technically speaking . .

Quote
- Virus is just temporary

Yes it is temporary. Though the nature of virus mutating one then also we have resistance for the virus with Rapid Antibody Sequencing method. Virus will get more and more recognisable in the body and at some point natural antibodies will develop to fight against it.

It won't last forever.

Quote
- Vaccine coming (it may not)

It is definitely coming. In my organization we have already worked out 5 technologies out of which 2 are underway for human trials latest by July End. Couldnt be happier than this! It's the fastest development of any vaccine that has been made in human history. Usually it takes multiple years to even enter into Phase 2 trials.

Quote
- V shaped recovery

As soon as Vaccine will hit the market, and everyone is immunised with it, every damn corner of world will resume as before and it will boost economy (followed by recovery phase) giving out V shape. Sure it will.

Quote
- Deaths will be low

Above points make this one clear. Vaccine!

Quote
- Virus will magically go away by easter  Roll Eyes

No this won't happen without vaccine.

Quote
- might do another simulus check  Roll Eyes

For the sake of recovery and keeping the businesses running this might come along the way.

Quote
- unemployment is low

This is the directly dependent to all the stuff above. Whether we successfully develop vaccine, rest the whole world to normal and create employment opportunities since work demand will rise once we are to the normal state.
3805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Institutional Investors Continue to Buy Bitcoin on: July 05, 2020, 11:54:30 AM
Quote
confidence in BTC's long-term trends.

This is what is important when it comes to the bitcoin investment. There is no way one can earn loads of profit in bitcoin trades within days, weeks or months. Sometimes you might just have to wait for whole year to couple of them. These fat wallet institutional investments are good for bitcoin economy since they contribute to bitcoin market cap more often than private or individual investors.in terms of %

From this individual should take real lesson of holding for long terms and not to freak out when bitcoin dumps itself a little bit.
3806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Lost $9,300, Bearish Re-test In Play? on: July 05, 2020, 11:36:43 AM
I dont think we can predict what possible movement the market can bring us. The bitcoin price ranges from 8.8k to 9.3k and keeps on rallying on these particular level. I dont know but whales maybe are too busy annoying the market and not letting it break any resistance at the moment. Better to stick on holding than relying on many predictions about its price.

Fundamentally we are still bullish but its being threatened by massive fuds lately.

On top of this let’s not forget external forces such as pandemic situation has gotten community to dissolve their investment from stocks, bonds, crypto currencies and much more. We know already that economic crisis is creating inflation bubble thus making things stringent when it comes to investment. We can not deny this why bitcoin is not moving upwards yet.

I mean it was Halving year for bitcoin and after halving it hasn’t moved an inch tbh. If we analyse previous halving years then all of them shown some green movement but this year nothing!
3807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hashrate Increases on: July 05, 2020, 04:18:45 AM
We had so much negative expectations before the halving due to the "Bitcoin mining death spiral" headlines from the so-called "crypto news sites". Funny how now we're only like 4 TH/s from the all-time-highs.

https://www.blockchain.com/charts/hash-rate

This could have been due to the fact that majority of mining firms will find it easier to incur handsome fees & increased prices over the decade. They know very well with more speed they will be able to mine faster, since network difficulty is increasing as well, they have to either keep up the speed or increase it to ATH++.

Who knows, someone might just have triggered mega mining farm after halving.   Tongue

3810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way you’ll inherit Bitcoin to your loved ones? on: July 03, 2020, 04:02:03 PM
Quote
If you want to inherit your Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to your loved ones, which one of these would be your best option to save your confidential information?

1 - Notebook or journal
2 - TXT or doc file to be saved in USB or external hard drive (especially keystore files)
3 - Google Drive, Docs or Sheets
4 - Others (please specify)

Its a good thought of inheriting all our earnings in bitcoin form to loved one's. In a way you have mentioned all the possible ways to inherit our stuff to people we love. If you think little deeper, then it would be better to option out for all of them because you never know what might just happen to your drives, cloud storage or notebooks. At least there will alternate options to open up inherited jackpot if something goes way wrong.  Tongue

However, if i start getting hunches that I am gonna die then I will do keep all these secretes in my bank locker and as soon as my will is read loud they will come to know what's in the locker and what to do about it. So that way it could be far more secure than keeping at corner of our houses.

Anyone is thinking other stuff like, it might happen that someone will come with the idea of storing all these in cryptographic form over cloud and you can have legal access to it. Then this data can be released by these so called cryptographic storage company to the inheritance after successful confirmation by means of uploading legal docs, fingerprints etc. Could be nice project if thought with lucid details.
3811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins unite! on: July 03, 2020, 03:15:15 PM
I realized today that even thought many Altcoins are total shitcoins, all of them have an ambitious dev team behind them that must understand the blockchain business to some extent. Therefore I call on to all the devs of impotent shitcoins to unite for a quest of more utility for their cryptos and stop being shitcoins! Upgrade your blockchains! Switch to a more exciting algorithm. Slice max supply. Add real utility like storage or bandwidth or both! You can do it! Contact me if you want to know more.

So what is the purpose for this unity? Just to create bigger shitcoin or mega scam! I don't think we can request any devs out there and take interest in such projects where they would want to collaborate for something good. Know why? Because there isn't single dev who reclaims good projects since few years now. There were initial days when devs were actually into building something greater and useful for the crypto community. Over the period this started declining as they started to have greed for money. They knew one important thing, "people could be scammed easily in crypto industry" and they did it. I don't believe that anyone of them are now willing to work for hours and hours to code a good project that will help humanity. With few exceptions it seems impossible. Have you seen CMC stats? There are 5000+ shitcoins and more or less they are being used as pump-dump coins to earn quick profits. They don't serve real purpose and neither their owner care about it.
3812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: July 03, 2020, 02:11:26 PM
snip
Please bounty manager make sure the team you doing a job for are real atleast, don't just take a job through chats only
The second are those who don't care if the project is genuine or not and take up the job instantly just because it is paying the manager well.
We can't do anything about it but just stop promoting the projects which are being taken up by those managers.

About this, the number of such manager is actually far greater than the professional bounty managers. If you checkout the bounty section then there is one big noticeable thing, "most of the bounties are being ran by newbies and/or the project itself creates a new account", get copper membership to post images and run all by themselves. For bounty participants it has become pain in the back since they do hours of work and at the end project turns out to be scam Or improperly managed.

Over the time it may happen that the bounty solution would be needed and who knows these things might just disappear as people's trust will be reduced dramatically. One thing is clear, we now rarely get good projects, and thus managers are also finding it hard to play around.
3813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What constitutes a crypto exchanges? on: July 03, 2020, 12:36:28 PM
What if there is no visible BTC trading pair on site? Let say one of the feature is to vote on the dapp, but in order to vote you need xx amount of utility token of the dapp, so users gonna need to deposit BTC to sort of like buying the utility token, in general does this automatically be considered a "crypto exchange" as well?

Well, while your platform might not primarily be a crypto exchange, but in your example if your platform is going to handle the exchanging of assets and not relaying it to other exchanges, then technically your platform still has an exchange feature. But then again, I think you're better off asking local authorities for a specific answer. Whatever guideline may apply in my country might not apply to yours.

In most of the countries what follows traditionally gets applied to modern things. In my country for example, gambling is not allowed and any sort of it may be, its just illegal. So even if I go and play on William Hills then its illegal in my country. In similar fashion, trading works here. Since trading is completely legal, we have seen most of the crypto exchanges arising out of no where and making this as base. They are applied with same rules as that of traditional exchanger (stock exchanges etc.) You have to report the authorities before you open up the exchanger.

It's banking has to be transparent and legally you must posses shop act license to run the same. For example, have ABC trading Co. registered in first place under which whole game will played. And of course you have to report all the earnings as well.
3814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thread For Btc Daily Traders, get 70/80% accurate calls. Edit: Forex pairs added on: July 03, 2020, 12:13:34 PM
It seems pretty good idea to share your trades and analysis made out based on day's data. However, it would be nice if you start adding what is going to hamper the trading pair on next day. You know, the news, facts, upgrades in the chain and much more you can talk about. What you doing could become more useful when people will start earning trust based on your deep analysis regarding the trading pairs. I mean now a days we dont usually trust on hunch so its more or less very difficult to believe on random threads. You can also make this thread useful for the noobs who just throw away their money into the market in crazy way.

Also, I want to ask which platform are you using to trade all this, is it forex or iq options? The theme looks pretty catchy. Need to see whatelse they have got.
3815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lets talk Crypto / Constructive Discussions on: July 03, 2020, 11:10:23 AM
Not to bring you down, but how is your channel specifically going to be different compared to like.. the thousands of Telegram channels that are being spam advertised on various forums and social media? If it's just going to be crypto general like with the other groups, good luck gaining traction.

This could be Déjà vu effect but why I am feeling that there was one more guy like this who was publishing his telegram group in similar fashion and mk4 was responding the same and I was quoting him earlier.  Tongue Tongue

Yeah, why one should join such telegram group if you have the whole forum in-front of you and one can just drop by and read thousands of threads created as result of curiosity. This is one of the best way to have general as well as serious talk about the crypto.

Telegram groups and all is fine but they shall be very prompt, responsive! When I joined few groups earlier there was nothing but garbage and people were talking and advertising their own websites and links. So over the time it really becomes junkyard. I also dont wanna put you down but it would be far greater if you come with something else with unique idea.
3816  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | YouTube Review Video | Earn $50! - Ends June 30th on: July 03, 2020, 10:28:51 AM
Thank you very much Hhampuz sir! I have received my payment of $40.

It was amazing to use those funds and trade on one of the favourite game of mine that is CRASH. It always drives my adrenaline up and down when you play it. Its easiest game, all you have to do is bet your stakes and cashout before the Rocket bursts! One can earn as much as 100x in single bet. Just imagine how much you can get if you put huge stakes and cashout quickly enough.

Thank for the opportunity guys.
3817  Economy / Economics / Re: An interesting case of a widespread misconception on: July 02, 2020, 11:49:31 AM
It's not just dollar but many other currencies which are compared like this all the time. But it's not wrong either. I know you have a made point with increasing wage formula but dollar was proportional to many other factors back in time and today as well. There was time when you could actually buy couple of candies for penny but today it is not the case. Over the time wages increased but costs per unit increased as well. The whole thing is connected with market demand and supply. It was lesser back in time considering the country was less populated back then. This is pretty simple thought and I guess one can easily agree upon this.
3818  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: July 02, 2020, 09:59:42 AM
Why not, if we streamline a system where nobody in world will use banks and will only go with the traditional ways of banking that is, to trade thing for a thing!

But, looking at the current trend and also history of world we have seen dramatic changes in banking sector. Even back in 1400's and previous era we have found coins minted in copper, stones etc. and they clearly states it was a necessary step to take so that one can have smooth transaction. Without currency there is no trade, no value for something and this math had been in the bloods of everyone these days.

So, as of now it's hardest part to remove from the face of earth.
3819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yes, there is a strip club that accepts bitcoin. on: July 02, 2020, 08:52:18 AM
That's surprising since in my country a common man don't even know what's bitcoin and how to use it. All they will say "Oh yeah, bitcoin I have heard this term somewhere in the news, but I don't know what it is for". Lolz.

So we are literally in primordial stage of bitcoin and here we are, you guys throwing away bitcoins on a stripper in a night club. That's funny, how we see the world is at different pace of accepting the bitcoins.

I believe the club owner must be some bitcoin freak that's why he put it as payment method. And surely the strippers may not even have any idea what's bitcoin is.
3820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin.org , in danger of being compromised?? on: July 02, 2020, 04:34:36 AM
This is not the first time that the bitcoin.org website has sparked controversy

For me, this is an inverted reflection of the Bitcoin movement as a whole: the authoritative view is that of the overall Bitcoin economy/"ecosystem", not of one website that has an easy-to-remember name

In short, bitcoin.org is not and never will be Bitcoin itself, so this latest soap-opera is big on drama, but low on substance

That's why they say with big game comes the big challenges and greed of hunting the stuff. With today's date bitcoin has gone very far from initial stages and website like bitcoin.org is now most hit by crypto users. May be this has led the owners (real, pseudo) anyone to have cold wars over this ownership stuff.

They know very its value is huge and being owner of such domain means a lot to them. These things can happen over ownership when something is getting way to popular.

It feels like Beatles separating because they were getting more or less huge popularity and had disputes over who will be the owner of band.

Nothing new with this drama.
