4101  Economy / Economics / Re: India - Complete Country Lockdown - Is it on the Verge of Economic Crisis ? on: March 24, 2020, 06:34:23 PM
It is very big decision by PM of India and this shut down is not for one day, one week BUT its for whole 21 Days!!

LOL man, it is happening all over world. It is not as big as it was 2 months ago in China. Now lock downs are an usual thing. It can even happen that regions in India with most infected gets under the quarantine.

So what are the statistics of them and how you co-relate it to Indian situation?

Considering that India is densely populated with most of the base serving average employment with mid level salaries.
4102  Economy / Economics / Re: India - Complete Country Lockdown - Is it on the Verge of Economic Crisis ? on: March 24, 2020, 06:32:28 PM
Authorities have said that people should not step outside their houses. This is impractical as well as unenforceable. In a country of 1.4 billion people (including some 30 million illegal immigrants), how can the authorities make sure that everyone stays at home? Even if this lock-down succeeds, I am not sure whether everyone is having enough food and other essential supplies with them to survive for that long.

Actually they are already taking precautionary steps such as life saving and perishable stuff is allowed to be sold but with lot of limitations.

Strong rules have been imposed to across the country so that socialisation wont happen and there will be ZERO face to face contact minimising the risk of contagious disease.

Though India's population is large then also police force is working harder on them, literally hitting the people badly but for the purpose of good.

But, we cant predict how it will impact the whole economy stuff and that is what i want to know, how, and how badly?
4103  Economy / Economics / India - Complete Country Lockdown - Is it on the Verge of Economic Crisis ? on: March 24, 2020, 05:19:34 PM
Respected Prime Minister of India has declared Complete Shut Down of "India"

It is very big decision by PM of India and this shut down is not for one day, one week BUT its for whole 21 Days!!

Moreover, internal sources suggest that this lockdown is going to be extended further more if situation of corona doesnt follow within control. This is crazy decision has shaken the whole India for sure and its gonna create economic crisis! People wont be having any money after a month to spend for daily needs, industries wont be paying to employees because there is no business, which means no money outflow-inflow!

What would be the outcome of this unexpected situation of India and people in it?
4104  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: March 24, 2020, 12:03:55 PM
Which country's government will be the most affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic, and be the first to go bankrupt, and default?

I believe its going to be INDIA.

(Good God, apologies but practicality says it)

The thing is India is fighting against coronavirus with full power but in the meantime its loosing huge businesses and its economy bursting inside out.
India does't have enough funds in the Reserve Bank of India.

Banks are not allowed to take loan EMI's and other repayments from the customers for next three months or until next notice from the government. Thus, it will lead to loss of bank business as they will have huge set backs.

On the other hand, NSE and BSE are not recovering that effectively at which rate it shall be. Large number of employees have their money in these markets and which they will not getting back soon or will be selling in loss.

Most of the engineering companies have been shut and there is no salaries to employees.

India is also led by huge number of farmers and for them its getting difficult to sell their goods in far locations due to lockdown of transports etc.

Looking at such locked up situation im betting on India followed by Italy.
4105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 24, 2020, 06:58:24 AM
Is high rewards like 350,000$ for bounty hunters still possible this days? I know it's all down to the success of the project but is this still achievable? How many successful projects with such reward paid hunters since 2018 that you know?

Bounty is like hitting bulls eye from the moon. And guess what bulls eye is placed on dark side of earth!  Roll Eyes

Believe me i have read so much from other forum members regarding Bounty and its brutal end when it comes to exchanger listing. They will suffer in many ways, such as. . .

1) Bounty mostly started as fake projects.
2) No real base for the project, just posing the high valued returns.
3) Bounty managers themselves are scammers.
4) Most of the bounties are made in view of getting huge number of followers for a Twitter account, Website lead generation, Word search optimisation and youtube channel aggravator.
5) Most of the Bounties are enrolled with huge number of participants from couple of hundreds to thousands in single bounty.
6) Considering Point No. (5) bounty token value is diluted as large number of portion is dedicated in rewarding participants.
7) People usually tend to sell off their tokens right after the Token gets listed on an exchanger (If they are true projects).
8.) Point No. (7) leads to dropped market capitalisation and thus lowered chances of hiking the prices one more time.
9) Over the time people get out of such projects and no real development happens as the owner loose their money due to Point No (7), (8.).
10) Currently, there is no great hope from the bounties. It's a waste of time.

You can decide yourself from the above discussion whether its worth or not.

I dont claim 100% fakeness but thats atleast 99% these days.
4106  Economy / Economics / Re: Net worths if Bitcoin reaches $100,000 on: March 24, 2020, 05:53:38 AM
Its amazing to see these numbers man. I am surprised like anything looking at those net worth.  Shocked

Mind blow! Its more than 1 trillion dollar held by few people together. Just imagine how badly they can erupt the economy if they start selling it.

But one question ! If any day they think of throwing all the coins in the market then would there be chance all of it will get buy orders ?

Will there be any person making buy orders for the same?

Also, i would like to know if they ever do it then will you betting your money for profits ?
4107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: March 24, 2020, 04:15:23 AM
Or maybe Satoshi made it with the thought of having value!

As you described in your post regarding its networking ability and transferring of data (well digital payment info) it means people are actually buying these assets for real with fiat on one end and converting them into cryptographic form on the blockchain.

This is it I guess, it's simplest explanation for it.

~HOWEVER~

I do have another thought, you guys might wanna comment on the same.

Well over the period we have overlooked bitcoin as real payment system. Rather, we have looked at it as way of earning money, trading asset, or method to store our assets.

May be this has caused crypto world to turn into investment center. Now, that investment which is made over the time has given it tremendous value (demand and supply) and thus we experience the change in it everyday.
4108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Historical Bitcoin price on: March 24, 2020, 03:28:59 AM
I am wondering how they extract so much data from hourly to daily basis?
I don't know how but I doubt that they get the data from bitcoincharts.com since they are offering free API to retrieve historical data they might be developing a script to scrape data from bitcoincharts.com and then they convert unixtime to hourly/daily basis.

Are you planning to develop something related to historical data?

You can use their API for free from here https://bitcoincharts.com/about/markets-api/
They update their data twice a day with a few seconds interval.

A sample one is this http://api.bitcoincharts.com/v1/trades.csv?symbol=bitstampUSD with bitstamp BTC/USD

Great to see heads up!

No I am not planning to do anything about it but it was something new for me so just asked out of curiosity.

Got the hint how they do it. But i guess its involved with many stuff such as background coding, and putting all the data in organised or readable form.
4109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Historical Bitcoin price on: March 23, 2020, 05:30:41 PM
Check CryptoDataDownload. I've checked a couple of exchanges (out of 24), and they seem to offer what you're looking for (hourly data since 2017).

If you ever need older data for more pairs and exchanges, you can check CoinAPI.io.

Thanks for the useful link.

I am wondering how they extract so much data from hourly to daily basis ?

Not just for single site but they do have multiple major exchanges data. (CryptoDataDownload). This was a cool share.
4110  Other / Meta / Re: The quality of this forum has gone down significantly on: March 23, 2020, 04:04:45 PM
Just wanted to share this. Came back from a break, now it's full of rubbish threads by "legendaries" whored accounts that discuss rubbish, looks like one of the fake forum on forumwarz. WTF.
Your post history indicates your break was after July 30, 2018. I don't know what you mean exactly because your OP isn't going into any detail, maybe you've visited Altcoin Discussion?

During your break many good posts were created, you only need to know where to search them. Of course you'll find some crap everywhere but it's easy to skip it, my impression is rather before you had your break, the forum was spammy.
Here are some interesting posts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232037.0

And there is much more, the list contains only a tiny part.

I feel like he just came to forum back again and started reading the stuff all over. May be he ended up on the another planet after reading rubbish which is actually logical talk over the time and as per the on going activities around us.

Oops! May be he forgot to catch up millions of things.

Go deeper in the forum and read! You cant just judge with single reading

Its better you comment what improvement you want rather than suggesting the forum quality is dropping.

Start the change from yourself man, then we will follow if you think its scrap everywhere and will improve.

4111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Website request to track developments in Altcoin Society. on: March 23, 2020, 03:11:28 PM
Try to subscribe signal channel in telegram. They usually try to give pump signals which means you know very well in advance that which coins gonna be pumped.

I guess you better look for multiple sources rather than relying any one of the channel giving out unsure updates. (Can't trust easily).

Market is always coming up with advanced projects, and existing one are getting updated all the time so you have to look for the updates everywhere and do some smartwork. ;-)
4112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona coins taking over on: March 23, 2020, 02:49:23 PM
For those who knew and though otherwise and for those who never knew, we have few Corona coins amongst us today and ain't just one, until now there are 3 known Coronavirus coins that I am aware of and here is the list

1. CORONA (CORONA)
2. CoronaCoin (NCOV)
3. Coronavirus Token (CNV)

None of these coins makes any sense to me and they are just another plot to scam those who knew nothing, if you have more you can drop I'ma will be glad to upgrade the list

I don't see any coins with this name. Can you please share the link for the same.?  Huh

Moreover, there is only one thing which calls for spam and Ponzi stuff as stated by other members here.

Over the period I have seen such projects coming up as and when there have been some hot news going on around us (e.g. Corona right now). So it's but obvious we should straight away ignore anything with this name.

(I still need link).
4113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW LOW BTC CAN GO? on: March 23, 2020, 12:58:03 PM
I am betting on 3000 USD.

Reasons Embarrassed

1) Coronavirus outburst - Economy is highly distressed. Just imagine most of the people are not even focusing on the stocks, shares everything is disturbed so I am pretty sure they will barely be focusing on the crypto market. Most of the stable assets like Gold and commodities have fallen upside down. This is indirectly connected to crypto world. Its  pulling it down.

2) International Lockdowns - Off course this is because of coronavirus. But on other second number in pulling the BTC down. No countries connected with each other mutually though we are connected via internet it means nothing. The thing is we do need local transactions to be in placed and this buy and sell will only occur when there is real life transactions (e.g. buying of stuff, selling of stuff with payment mode of crypto). Many investors travel the world and do real time project investments. This one is now completely stopped and its gonna affect it badly.

These are two strong points with me. Can't think of anything else.
4114  Economy / Economics / Re: Will India be more progressive in the coming years? on: March 23, 2020, 11:39:08 AM
One good news from this article of : https://cointelegraph.com/news/tim-draper-wants-to-invest-in-the-coming-crypto-renaissance-in-india

Quote
Billionaire investor and the winner of thousands of Bitcoins (BTC) in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s 2014 Silk Road auctions, Tim Draper, has set his sights on India’s nascent cryptocurrency industry.

On March 22, the venture capitalist tweeted that the Supreme Court’s recent reversal of the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) ban on banks providing financial services to crypto companies will drive a “renaissance” for the country’s cryptocurrency sector.

India as the 2nd biggest in terms of population, being positive with crypto might do something positive in with their economy in the future.

What do you see years from now that India will achieve due to this declaration of lifting the ban of cryptocurrency?

I see amazing future ahead. Once we get out of corona crisis (fingers crossed) then first step would be stabilising ourselves from the economic crisis that we had. Then next step would be developing versatile projects that will motivate people to invest more into bitcoin and other altcoins.

Hopefully many genuine projects will take shape now and will call for big investors into the market. Not only this, with India's decision on removal of illegal allegations it middle man who will also think about the bitcoin as a way to investment.

I have seen huge number of indians who are involved into the stock markets and always looking for the opportunities. Then bitcoin would be their one step ahead.

4115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 11:09:34 AM
bitcointalk is not a charitable organization and unless you can find one that is transparent and has a good history you won't be able to get any donations because of the large number of scams that have been happening over the past couple of weeks using all kinds of methods!

Hold on. China hasn't surely stopped the coronavirus stuff.
the conclusion is based on the statistics they report. the new cases found per day has reduced from a couple of thousands per day to a couple of dozen per day. basically when the chart here called Total Coronavirus Cases plateaus it shows a significant reduction and signals the end of the spread being near.

I am not referring to charts at all. I'm looking after the severity and no medication availability against the coronavirus and raising my concerns regarding it.

The chart is data which is extracted from the WHO and medical / testing facilities but on the other hand china seems to be giving no data at the moment.

Just checkout the WHO site and it seems they have reported too less cases over week and its impossible. As there is no cure, medication so how one can hold back such big crisis.

Just making it science based conversation.
4116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 04:56:23 AM
As you Can See from different World News people are dying By Covid19, And Despite the Success of china against it, but the world must come together to fight as the world problem. As an Investor, entreperenur, and businessman in Crypto, I see Opportunity for the Bitcoin Community to show the power of it by the donation from the platform and let the world know about it, this will increase the number of people who will trust on Bitcoin and Crypto In general which we all need in order for the people to have financial freedom,

I suggest that it will be good if the platform itself (Bitcointalk) will provide BTC Address for that Donation to avoid theft or unrated address from unknown and after Contribute enough the transaction of exchange to get tools for help have to be done from those stores which accept Bitcoin, that help will be for the currently most affected country/countries

I Belive the Community will help and Understand

Hold on. China hasn't surely stopped the coronavirus stuff. They are just trying to isolate the numbers by not providing to WHO.  There is no solid proof of China stoppage because it's next to impossible to stop the coronavirus spread so quickly and suddenly halt the process. Being vaccine industry employee I have worked on so many articles and there is no clue on how this can be stopped immediately.

Speaking about the DONATIONS . .

Yes, donating can help but this donation shall be given to R&D facilities where work on the Corona is going on.

You might say donations shall be given to patient treatment, hospital but prevention is far better than cure.

In this case prevention is to look for vaccine, send it worldwide and immunise everyone.

However, this will need huge amount of money as cost of highly qualified equipment required in biotech firms are upto the sky.

So if any donations are going to be done by this forum then it has to go to research facility first.
4117  Local / India / Re: Supreme Court of India overruled the RBI Circular (Good news for Indians) on: March 22, 2020, 07:12:45 PM
Your last bit was great to read. Banks have erupted badly when it was mad illegal in India last year. They literally seized bitcoin ATM too from Bangalore site. Hopefully we will see plenty of them one more time.

I guess covid 19 situation has to go off before Indians can think of such step ahead. Our economy is already going down a lot as can be seen with $1 - 75 INR ratio.

First fiat will stabilise then bitcoin will boom in India and subsequently we will start adapting other methods of payment.

I'm guessing UPI payment tangled with crypto currency will be the next hot topic in here.
4118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers don't trap victims with too good offers anymore on: March 22, 2020, 06:48:28 PM
It seems many scammers are now aware that people run away from too good to be real investment plans nowadays, now they are ready to give fair percentages too just like legit projects

It came to my attention today that many Nigerians fall victim to a crypto fund company in Nigeria where thy are promised 2% daily and 14% weekly, according to my source she never knew the offer was scam because the offer was fair enough, she made a big mistake to have invest a whooping thousand and half dollar in the project, to me this sounds like another MMM stuff but the returns are really fair, well there you have it, this is enough to confuse those who thinks fair returns means project is legit, you are damn wrong

Man, legit projects give 2% yearly, and if even that due to uncertainty.
Anything that has a 2/7/14/30 day return with interest more than 0.25% is definately a scam or a ponzi

Exactly.

The point is we should never ever invest in any altcoin schemes or projects unless and until they are full proof and running with a realistic product.

History is truthful to schemes were they have offered virtual mining profit, holding alts, paying off interests etc. are all scams.

Many of them even posed to have real product on larger scale. For example, SAM cubes. A bounty which ran with cube mining hardware installed in cold dessert and with real images of trucks, helicopter and mining units installed around.

At the end it turned out that it was all scam.

So even with real projects, low % of returns it's hard to say which is true and which isn't.
4119  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: March 22, 2020, 12:53:30 PM
Hi, guys! Most market expert r so confused about the next move of btc as all markets r fluctuating drastically. People r considering CoVid-19 fear for such damage in the market but if so then what r we gonna see in near future in all markets? If research center got success in inventing antidote then also making it in such a huge amount then distributing it worldwide would be a great deal for all countries. Most of market analyst are guessing to see one more dump in crypto market.. How do see market going? Share your opinion in present poll  Roll Eyes  Kiss

The situation is temporary. Lets not consider this virus as king of all. In scientific discipline it is just another Virus with possible antidote.

We have studies underway which has done isolation and in-vitro trials already. Vaccine is all made up of attenuated virus itself and its just about the time when we will have fully developed vaccine.

Soon after that distribution will occur with the help of government and pharma companies under FDA guidance.

It will take no time to recover all the market back to what stage we left earlier.

This could be 6 months to a year from now. Meanwhile the present situation everyday will decide how prices gonna fluctuate.

All we can do is sit back and watch from our screens.

4120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Yuan as a possible Cyber Weapon on: March 22, 2020, 09:39:49 AM
China may be a overpower looking at its economic situation right now because they are huge manufacturers of things that world wants on daily basis.

They will surely drop their economy now due to Corona stuff but let's not take them for granted as they are very spurious country they will surely have back doors right now. I mean as the stories are coming up that they have made Corona stuff intentionally then then they must be having plan B to recover their economy if not.

The cyber weapon story could be just another side of them.
