3761  Economy / Economics / Re: Yearly >Trendy< Crypto Markets, Is Crypto becoming like Tech Fashion? on: July 26, 2020, 12:16:25 PM

Lastly what you guys think what Crypto Trend will be popular for 2021 next year? Privacy coins?

May be not privacy coins since everything about crypto runs on data integrity principles so we are already having private transactions and identity antagonist running over blockchain.

Well, you could say they there might be personalised coins that could jump in. A whole new world of possibility where individual developer create their own limited coins lets say few thousands or something with value based on their product market.

They will trade these coins for coins or product for coin basis and keep the liquidity around it.

This could happen considering there are no limits for the contracts that could be built up, network still has huge space. You might find this answer littel out of the box because it may not happen just now but soon.
3762  Economy / Exchanges / Re: in your opinion what would make you try to use a new cryptocurrency exchange? on: July 25, 2020, 07:08:28 PM
In my opinion all the options you gave are ok, but not the one where you get satoshi's for creating accounts. That's just a marketing strategy and it may cause blank death of your exchange since you are giving out free money and that would from your pocket!!

Well, an ideal exchanger now must get upgraded to new versions where they connect you to the bank accounts directly. However, this way of transaction shall be optional for each user since most of them might just wanna have privacy of their funds, hidden stuff etc.

But for me it would be amazing to have exchanger linked to international bank account and thus I could easily transfer my money there. It won't be prob for me if they track my transaction since i will pay the taxes anyway.

Crypto is now new passive income, it needs to be straight into my banks that's all.

I want to buy a premium subscription for tradingview.com but it only has "Credit card" or "PayPal" payment options amd unfortunately I don't have both.

Can someone pay for me?
I will pay equivalent+ $2 for help via btc.

Yes, I'm from India.

And, I do have a PayPal account but years ago I recieved 10$ via PayPal which I never was able to withdraw which made me hate PayPal. I've got no use of PayPal.

Even for the current transaction, I'd prefer paying with a card rather than PayPal.

I'm counting on AdvCash currently. Hope it works.

Currently the norms has been changed for Indian-PayPal.

RBI do not allow to keep the money on paypal. So if you anyway receive the payments on PayPal then they will be sent your Indian Bank account immediately. Checkout my account's screenshot below:

It's very easy though.

AdvCash is good.

Try AirTM if thats an option there.

Rohan you can easily sign up on paypal with your e-mail.

Just submit that e-mail at the time of paying the subscription amount and you will be given choices to add your card details (even if it's debit) it will work.

From your name it seems you are from India.

Indian PayPal has thought this through and given various choices.

It's just a suggestion, it will save your bucks and escrow stuff.
3767  Economy / Economics / Re: How will look the world in 2100? on: July 22, 2020, 04:33:56 AM
However, in the future, most hard work will be done by robots (which we can see today)[...]

Actually, this is one of the scarier possibilities to me. You can think of job automation as a way of fixing labor shortages. Another way to think of them: there will be fewer and fewer jobs for humans. [...]

That's really what I hate in a concept where robots will dominate our purposes here in this world. In 2100, if we engaged in super futuristic technologies, probably humans will have a hard time to live for themselves. [...]
Don't get me wrong guys, I also think that AI domination would be possible but happening only for the next 80 years? Hmmm, I highly doubt. [....]

AI domination is just a myth. Elon Musk himself said if AI starts speaking their own language then we humans will always have an option to shut them down since we hold the main power switch with us.

Let us not get tingling thoughts from the movies (Terminator etc.) since they are far too stretched. We do have one of the example where AI went rogue and we simply turned them off! The Facebook Chatbot! Which created their own language to communicate with each other. I guess we had it under control without any trouble.

So, AI will only overcome the world if we start implanting the chips in human brains! Since human can't be trusted.  Grin
3768  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: July 21, 2020, 06:02:06 PM
That is not sorted relationship to be honest. Government's of many countries dint like the idea of decentralised currency since they can not track the money flow. This has actually resulted in various institutes, individuals like politicians etc to store their black money over the bitcoin wallet. I guess that disturbs the whole economic flow of country and over the time this amount of money keeps building up as black form and could impact heavily on market.

Cryptocurrencies are good for those who wants to save their taxes, have fun gambling it, increasing the revenue, passive income you name it!! BUT, when it comes to the government they are just against it for the first para that I wrote.

Since we all know the transactions here can't be traced out to the banks, they literally "miss the white money" and hence no taxes!

Just imagine if this took over the centralised system then how the government will run in first place?
3769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / "Bitcoin for Contract Killing" on: July 20, 2020, 05:32:57 PM
You might be wondering what the heck is that title!

Well recently I am watching a series on the Netflix : Salvation. A series based on the political plots against hacker group and taking over the white house meanwhile an asteroid is about to hit the earth in couple of months! Pretty mind twister but coming to the title I will explain what it means.

In the above series, one of the political leader surprsingly use his bitcoin's to pay the contract killers.

Series has shown this in Season 2 EP 6 where one of the good group finds a Bitcoin Hardware Wallet (They have shown it like pendrive). Upon decrypting it, they see huge number of transaction with 1000+ BTC in it.

The episode has shown how the killer getting paid in $ 500,000 USD in no time for next target. They use it so that no one can track such huge transaction and also to hide the identity of person doing all the fishy stuff.

I guess the Bitcoin has served the purpose of data integrity here by protecting the owner's identity and in addition to that end users identity who is getting paid.

However, this could happen in real life as well, it's illegal use of BTC for that matter.  Tongue

Very interesting to see BTC is getting showed up in movies/series as well. Producer must be paying the actors in BTC, lolz.  Grin
3770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk decentralization: Internet power and electricity are centralized on: July 19, 2020, 08:02:09 AM

like internet version 2.0, only available in stores. I basically searched but found no project that calculated for this possibility.

That answers it all. It will never happen. Despite the fact that setting internet connection around the globe was most complex thing. There wont be any Internet 2.0 with different internet running on the same frequencies, wires, data cables whatsoever.

Things that will hamper if internet got shut off world wide?

People, Businesses, Stock-exchanges, Banking sectors, World-wide connectivity, Military communications, Satellites, Smartphones, it's like almost every damn thing will be useless without it!

Quote
Building a kill switch is not easy, however. The larger and more developed the country, the harder it is to shut down the internet completely – there are simply too many connections between networks both inside and outside national borders.
[What if internet stopped for one day]

Just look at the data how thing went off the chart since 1998 to 2917 and how internet is everywhere! [Reference Article Here] If you seriously want to shut it off then it will create chaos upto the warfare!

My only concern is no governement would want to do that in the first place. Since for the above reason !

Decentralisation and centralisation is not even in the list if you discussing these things.

At least we have assurance that bitcoin and other crypto world will breath easily unless and until it net is not shut off.
3771  Economy / Economics / Re: How will look the world in 2100? on: July 19, 2020, 06:39:46 AM
Interesting talk.

I think there is one more branch that could come out in this discussion. The rise of A.I., decreased reproduction rate, increased immortality rates etc. Yes the last one is not misspelled. With the current increased advancements in the IT sector and mechanical industries we may have robotic surgeons, cancer healing power and sense of healthy life.

We talking about 80 years from now! When we had engines running on steam and thought of the future we made them run on electric current and beyond.

In similar way just imagine the growth of these sectors from 80 years onwards!

It could happen all above theories might just become obsolete, people may stop reproducing due to increased life span. Or may have sense of having single child for inheritance and stuff.

The whole world might just unite together with one united leadership and protocols to live life happily. So this may happen population may not grow but decline drastically, climate will flourish to it's old age era, breathable, pure oxygen, purest water. All leading to sustained life time.

So no predictions, which country will cross which in terms of population.
3772  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation declining and famous celebs not paying workers on: July 18, 2020, 05:34:55 PM
No wonder it's neither their mistake nor the mistake of people who work for them. If industries, businesses and celebs keep paying their workers in full wages then how do you think they could keep up their own lifestyle.

What I mean by lifestyle here?

Well those celebs might have gotten huge homes, cars, bank loans and they need to pay EMI as well. Their accounts manager surely had calculated these EMI's based on their current payscales. Now, here is the twist! They are not working, they are not singing, nor they acting so the money flow has stopped for them as well. If they keep paying EMI's as well as the wages to workers then soon they will drain their bank accounts and I don't think it's good idea.

Paying them with cut off wages is still win-win situation for both of them. Since, those workers might not be working due to lockdown's and corona outbreak threats. So it's still good idea to keep it that way. This way both of them can be happy.

Same formula applies to people working in other sectors.
3773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Twitter Accounts Hacked & Used to Scam People on: July 18, 2020, 05:07:24 PM
Twitter accounts of famous influencial people like Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Apple, Kanye West, Joe Biden, Benjamin Netanyahu, Uber, Michael Bloomberg, Warren Buffet, Cashapp, Uber, Justin Sun, Bitcoin, Coinbase, andGemini are hacked and been scamming people claiming to double their money!

snip

Honestly twitter cant do that. Since it's already giant platform with almost every celebrity, stars, politicians and government is on the twitter they need to keep them alive.

Crypto is just needle in hay-stack and i dont think they will shut the whole thing down for that matter.

Pretty sure that they might have started backing up those genuine accounts and started locking up the back doors for hackers. Surely their experts now has to work around the clock to find those bastards.

3775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oldest scam in the book can help you make money on: July 17, 2020, 05:33:52 AM
Everybody has their bad day and those people who fell for that twitter shit were the one this time. If they got scammed then it was their mistake, if they are careful enough then surely they will learn from their mistakes next time if this happens.

Also, they will be the mouth to mouth advertiser that how doubling scam works and how one should stop investing into such schemes. They will act as catalyst for the new people ahead who are willing to invest in such ponzi schemes. Yes it costed them huge loss but that lesson for life and upcoming noobs.

Just imagine, many noobs might be reading our discussion at this point and they might have come to know how doubling is scam. Prevented from scams!  Wink

Quote
2025 - Bitcoin reaches 1 trillion USD market cap
2026 - BTC in circulation reaches 20 million

Lets just hope this happens. Otherwise there are lot more posibilites for example, BTC dropping in market cap because its value got diluted over the time as part of inflation. Due to useless currency, becoming null due to another futuristic project. Anything can happen.

2027 - Bitcoin reaches maturity and adult age (18 years old). Maybe we will have Bitcoin version 1.0.2 by that time.

Sure this is gonna happen, its about time.

2049 - 99.9 % of the 21 million limit will be in circulation (20.9 million BTC)
Hopefully mega mining projects don't fall and hashrate doesnt drop or it could be other way round, what if somebody finds another way to mine it more efficiently and faster, it could drop the timeline drastically.

3777  Economy / Economics / Re: Maintaining safety measures after pandemic for human -economical- resources on: July 14, 2020, 02:50:24 AM
Good to see you are spreading the valuable message here regarding prevention of covid19 infection.

However, the point which you made here about Human Resources is little throwback to what we need in reality. Earth as a whole already sustaining huge population, by far it's suffocating with the population that we have right now.

So let's not forget that we already have more than enough human resources.

What we need actually is . . .

Increased employment. What I mean is, we need to flourish the job opportunities in every sector. We have inequality in IT, mechanical, Pharma, healthcare, research, environment, government everywhere you go there is scarcity of jobs.

Either businesses shall grow with enough intake of human resources or there should be enough government jobs to control the unemployment scenario.

My only point is we have large number of human.

"Destruction & Creation is natural process of mother earth, you can not overcome it".
3778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't this the best time for Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2020, 09:27:55 AM
There are so many factors to be considered if this time is the best time for bitcoin, i think we need to look at the price, news, etc,.I believe that the bitcoin adaptation is very fast and in the near future bitcoin will become more useful and by that time the price of bitcoin will maybe rise up high and it will become more expensive.

The factor here is that since Bitcoin is not a physical currency, people should use it to be safe from the virus, that is what we need to consider.

As the OP said, it is really favorable for people to use Bitcoin since they don't need to go outside or they will not be risking themselves from the virus. The problem though is that people are using other methods. There are a lot of other methods to pay or send money without actually doing it physically, that is why we don't think it is not that best time unless it pumps.

But again we have big problem, the digital era!

I mean it's not like we only have bitcoin as contactless currency or way of transacting but we do have internet banking, Unified payment identification (UPI), wire transfers and all of them are capable making transaction as low as 1 bucks to any larger limit possible.

So again, we can go contactless with the hep of such payment solutions and bitcoin can be avoided. As far as I know businesses whether big or small will always carry forward with traditional payment system and may not even think about crypto currencies.

This is the truth & challenge for bitcoin usage.

3780  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful tips I've learned so far, might come in handy on: July 10, 2020, 05:54:16 PM
1. Nothing is certain in crypto space

Its good to know you realised it so fast! Just believe on bitcoin and ETH and nothing else for that matter.

3. Analysis is the best tool for more knowledge

Exactly. Gain more of it, and you will see there are more and more secrete doors out in the crypto world.

4. Don't hold new altcoins and stay offline, they need close watch

In fact don't hold the altcoins. Its better to be in BTC than alts which are very unstable and unproductive.

5. Diversify your money, do not rely on few altcoins and don't have too many, watching them will be an headache

Thats the point, no altcoin relying.

6. If you are new and in rush to see how crypto works start with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

This is what I wanted to express in the point number 4.0 above.

7. Take profit when you see one, don't be too greedy

This is very hard to control. Over the time one can learn but with lot of practice.
