There may be haters and critics. But believe me Reliance is truely dedicated to IT revolution in India. Starting from call rates, then internet and now mobile phones.
4463  Local / India / Re: help this noobie with 1 aug on: July 22, 2017, 02:27:40 PM
I don't feel you should worry about Aug 1 anymore. Segwit2x will bring 2Mb hard fork most probably in Nov. So nothing much will happen on 1st except UASF being rejected.
4464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your INITIAL motivation to buying Bitcoin on: July 22, 2017, 02:22:44 PM
I would like to find out what initially attracted community members to bitcoin.

Because I like the idea of money being decentralized as well at same time shows characteristic of asset thus gaining value overtime.
That's it.

4468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell me best coin to keep for long on: June 28, 2017, 05:50:06 PM
Thank you very much for your worthy suggestions. It is always lovely to have such worthy responses so one can make decision based on all suggestions.
As per comments, I am going to invest in WAVES and STRATIS, maybe IOTA too.

I see what this is.  Relative noob starts topic that's been done 1000 times.

Noob to Jr. Members (probably alts) pile in to shitpost.

Anyone notice this pattern?  This is why this forum chronically has a donkey dick in its mouth.

You want a coin to hold "for long"?  Bitcoin.  Say it 10K times and act accordingly.  You can try your shitty luck with shitcoins and you might get lucky, but in the end they're all crap.  You didn't really want the answer to this question, which you could have used the search function for.  I see exactly what this is.

Why don't you use some mind-relaxing exercise to lower your frustration. It is pretty nuisance to use search option when you need info about latest coins trend and being in cryptocurrencies world, I can expect from you that you know about volatility and how one coin which is promising today may not remain hot enough in 3-4 months.
4469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Tell me best coin to keep for long on: June 23, 2017, 08:54:31 AM
Hey,
I am looking for some cryptocurrency to invest for a year. I will make a paper wallet and get back coins after year.
Please suggest me which coin to go with. Just don't give random suggestion for signature spamming. Also don't suggest coins which are booming for short term.
Last year Ethereum worth hardly $12 which is now $350. I am looking for something similar.
4470  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: April 28, 2017, 03:29:36 PM
This is how Bitcoin is tested, even though a bad news or a panic selling happens it always finds its way how to recover. We can all thank ourselves for that without us Bitcoin Users, Bitcoin would be nothing we are the ones who determines the demand for Bitcoin. It is now tested many times Bitcoin can recover from a downfall.

And I am pretty sure trend will continue until and unless something better invented! Blockchain technology is presently the best technology for data remittance as it is easily transferable and irreversible. So we can conclude, people will continue to attract toward this force for more and more years. Since there is much potential of Bitcoin to be harnessed as it is presently used by only 2-3% of world population, its price will continue to climb higher.
I really doubt it is used by 2 or 3% of the population, I think even 0.2 or 0.3% would be pretty optimistic.
It's kinda difficult to find accurate estimates of the total number of users, but here is an article with some estimates:

http://www.coindesk.com/2016-bitcoin-challenge-100-million-users/

Yes, I don't think its reach is any more than 100 million. But still chances that 2-3% population is aware about it if not using!
4471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: April 28, 2017, 02:26:15 PM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

Bitcoin was a risky investment back in 2012-13 and many went in tears back in 2014 when it surge down to $400 from $1300. But it is no longer risky, it is very promising investment now and everybody is capable to make profits nowadays no matter when invested!!
4472  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: April 26, 2017, 05:55:55 PM
This is a major problem. Youth are generally more spendthrift and don't save for their future. As a result of which they never able to raise their living standard.
So it is always better to distribute disposable income in 3 parts. First for consumption, it is always good to limit it within 70%. Second savings, let it be 30%. Savings should further divided into 2 parts. Part A static savings like bank account savings or household savings which should be 10-15% so to meet uncontigencies. Whereas part B is dynamic saving i.e. investment to grow amount overtime which should be 15-20%.
4473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 26, 2017, 05:43:42 PM
I think there is a need to add some new feature to fasten the confirmation process. For example, adding screenshot proof or peer-to-peer system or any other improvement in Bitcoin ecosystem can improve confirmation status.
4474  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 25, 2017, 03:56:23 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Save if your country has zero or negative inflation rate. But if your country has positive inflation rate then saving will make you poor. Better go for dynamic investment like mutual funds, gold, bitcoin or portfolio consisting all of them.
4475  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto should be richer than Bill Gates. on: April 25, 2017, 03:48:36 PM
If there been unlimited Bitcoin then we could never see $1250 for them. Scarcity is the mother of economics and price determination.
4476  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: April 25, 2017, 03:38:53 PM
The future of paper money is still bright and shining just like in bitcoin but i think most of the people here think that bitcoin will replace the paper money which is i don't think will happen because there is a lot of problems for bitcoin to be a replacement for paper money like the approval of the government and being anonymous which the government didn't like about bitcoin.

Yes sure, Bitcoin can never replace paper money! But I have doubt if paper money has glorifying future because trend says its use getting decrease day by day whereas bitcoin is being increasingly used. So by percentage change we can say bitcoin doing better than paper money.
4477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How casinos slots attract players to play ? on: April 15, 2017, 09:15:24 AM
How big casinos like crocozino.io ,  fortunejack.com, mbitcasino.com attract their players ?
what makes you come to play ??

fortunejack and mbitcasino are two famous btc casino.
so they can attract new players just with their fame, like a celebrity they can offer most of what you need in a casino.
likewise promotion, security, good customer service, big jackpot, (a signature!) and much more Wink
