There is a big difference and the difference is that bitcoin isn't as liquid as money. It isn't a complete money and doesn't perform all functions of money. Due to such reasons bitcoin is investment on its own rather than a medium of investment. If you keep money in box and open it after 1 year, the value of money will decrease due to inflation. But if you keep bitcoins for a year and use them again in a year, their value will rise because of its investment nature.

This fork has positive outlook from community unlike the previous forks/expected forks as they were fearsome. People this time have understood that Bitcoin isn't beatable through any fork so they have made strategy to hold Bitcoins and dump the forked coins they will get. This is simply free money for them.
That is the reason why all altcoins are dropping and bitcoin is rising. So in my suggestions, it would be better to hold bitcoins and if you want to discrete your investments, go for ICO rather than altcoins.

4k is history and I don't think we might see those prices back. Fork magic is already evident, we already crossed $5K, not just 5000 but it's 5200 now. But all depends upon general view of public. As it positive currently, so the price is/will rise. The view was negative before BCH fork and we saw $1800 from $3000 in July. So it is too early to predict that Bitcoin will make resistant at $5K. It can go $4k or lower if outlook turns negative in coming months.
$10K is not impossible, not very difficult too. But if we wanna see it too early then that could only be through speculations and if so happens then it will be temporary. It's always better to let fruit fully ripe and we should wait for at least 1 year to see $10K.

Ofcourse Bounty. Airdrop is a free distribution of tokens by companies which want to increase the supply of their coins. So it is for sure, they aren't going to give something valuable.
While choosing bounties of right companies, you could make thousands of dollars for your little service.

Considering the current scenarios, ICO is much easier than convincing VC into investment. It is easy to convince mass who are ready to throw their money in project with aim of making high in return than an Experienced VC who analyse each and every project to its root.
So I guess ICO is going to be the future of funding world.

I think they asked in the form for an ETH address, the stakes will be paid in ETH tokens most likely.

Where do you see in whole OP a single mention about ETH? It is clearly written payment will be in BTC and god know how btc could be send on eth addresses.

Through OP, I meant the description of payment. It is clearly written all payments will be in BTC. What I think, Sylon made an error in form and he should rectify it soon before too many participants join.
