Today was a break day; the next match will be played between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans in Dubai tomorrow.
I was expecting Multan Sultan to win and they did. Although Multan Sultan and Islamabad United played one more matches than others but having 2 points for Multan Sultan was great.

Islamabad United has another match today with Karachi Kings. My calculation is that Islamabad United should win the match and in between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars my bet is for Quetta Gladiators.

Well, Qalandars won against Gladiators and United won against the Kings. The first match went completely one-sided, with Qalandars leading all the way from the very start; however, the second one brought an unexpected result at the end. Asif literally took away the match from Kings within just a few overs!

Hello friends,
I would like to steal my cardano, preferably without a pool but just on my private pc, is that possible?

and how about the staking pools? Do I have to send them or stay in my possession on my wallet?
thx Smiley

If I understand you correctly, you're looking to stake your ADA (Cardano), right?

As of now, you can't stake ADA. The staking (Shelley) will be active from March/April, only then you'll be able to stake your ADA. You'll definitely be able to use the staking pools for staking, and you won't have to send your ADA anywhere for that; your coins will stay with you!

Seems like something very interesting is cooking up:

Elixxir Progress Update: From Singapore to BetaNet

Quote from: E-Mail from Elixxir
It’s been a busy past few months for the Elixxir team! From public reveal at Consensus Singapore in September to the opening of our BetaNet Node Applications last week, our team has been hard at work behind the scenes prepping for a big 2019. Part of that has been ramping up our content releases detailing new information and initiatives specific to the Elixxir platform. To make sure members of our community, both new and old, are up to date on Elixxir’s progress we took a few minutes to work up a recap of updates and projects currently in progress for the Elixxir platform. This note should serve as a one-stop-shop to get yourself caught up with our community.

As a starter, if you’re new to our community or simply haven’t gotten around to reading it yet, take a look at our Technical Brief. Originally published with David’s Consensus Singapore keynote address announcing the Elixxir platform, the Technical Brief is a high-level overview of the technical elements which make up Elixxir. For the non-technical members of the community, the Technical Brief is a very accessible explanation that serves as an easy entry-point into the more technical elements behind the Elixxir platform. Pay particular attention to the “Letter From Our Founder”, description of Elixxir’s precomputation and scaling strategy, and cartoons explaining David’s mix protocols.

After the launch of our Technical Brief, our team quietly began working on development and rollout methodology of the Elixxir BetaNet which launched during the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami this January. Based on the IETF’s original methodology for standardizing protocols of the early internet, the rollout of the Elixxir BetaNet and selection of BetaNet Nodes has been designed to be driven by the community who will ultimately run the network.

You may read our post “An Open And Transparent Beginning” for additional context around this 6-step, community-driven selection process.

Detail on each step in the BetaNet Node Selection Process can be found here

Due to the novel technology behind the Elixxir platform, our nodes also operate a bit differently than nodes for other platforms. So our VP of Architecture Ben Wenger wrote up some additional detail behind the specification requirements we have listed for BetaNet Nodes. You can find this blog here.

Step 1 of that BetaNet rollout began with a questionnaire assessing community values toward background, governance, incentives, and more for the Elixxir BetaNet’s early nodes. Participation in the survey was not required to participate in step 2, the application, but will ultimately be viewed favorably during final selection. Step 1 saw an extremely positive turnout in respondents to the survey.

Take a look at the results post to get a better understanding into what Elixxir’s community values in potential BetaNet Node Operators.

Those community preferences have then been directly incorporated in the stage 2 application, which opened last Monday (February 18th, 2019) and will remain open through Friday, March 15th at 11:59pm PST. The application is the next critical step forward in launching the Elixxir BetaNet this summer 2019, and submissions will be opened for community selection and vetting beginning mid-April.
1925  Economy / Exchanges / Re: XRP is launching on Coinbase Pro - Finally! on: February 26, 2019, 05:46:51 PM
The trading is now fully supported at Coinbase Pro. USD, EUR, and BTC pairs are now active.

I started to lose interest in the crypto bank "Coinbase," especially when it accepted more XX/USD*EUR pairs for shitcoins.
I do not know what is unique in these unlimited cryptocurrencies. If altcoins are to be accepted, they must be of interest projects and provide an addition, not a new Price manipulation coins.

I'm starting to think that Coinbase just lists any popular crypto without looking at fundamentals. But who cares as long as people buy and sell it?

XRP is not really nice addition, considering people can buy OTC from the XRP company itself. Would be better if they started to be more selective and list some tokens worth listing because it's fundamentally good, not because it's popular.

Yoroi (the light wallet for Cardano) is now available for iOS:

This is bug report for Emurgo.

It's kind of funny but doesn't look professional  Grin.

It'd be better if you report it to Emurgo. I think they even reply through their official Twitter handles; you may let them know about that in a reply to one of their tweets. BTW, is that bug really worth mentioning? Tongue It seems like people expect real perfection from Emurgo/IOHK.

Today was a break day; the next match will be played between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans in Dubai tomorrow.

Karachi won the match against Quetta, thanks to the massive 100+ run inning of Colin Ingram!

Today they have match with Karachi Kings. They should win it easily. I am wondering about Multan Sultans vs Peshawari Zalmi Match. I can not pick any from them.

For the 2nd match, karachi needs to win it in order to stay in the tournament and it will be tough to beat the unbeaten Quetta team today.

Karachi is probably going to lose this one too; Umar Akmal and Russouw are putting some good scores right now. However, what makes you so sure that Karachi will be out of the tournament if they lose this one? It's still just the 5th match of the 10 matches (for Karachi)!

Yes, there are still 5 matches to go for karachi after this one, but then they have to win maybe 4 of them atleast and it will not be an easy task considering their current performances.

Heh, from next time, try to be a bit accurate with your words... Tongue

I was quite accurate with my words  but never expected this type of comeback from karachi !!!
Karachi win was no less than a miracle. Colin Ingram first century for this PSL turned out to be a match winner.  Well with this win the tournament is wide open for any four teams to quality for top 4.

Actually, if Karachi loses another match (or even two matches), it's not like they'll be out of the tournament.

Any one have information about bitcoin related debit card which is working in Pakistan I need this very urgently as have some payment stuck which I can withdraw through only card.

I know of no such card. What sort of situation is this that you find yourself in? If you have bitcoin you can send it anywhere. You can sell on localbitcoins and receive money via bank, easypaisa, jazz cash etc. If you don't have bitcoin then try payoneer. It's a solution people use to get money from freelancing sites.

Bitcoin to Skrill and Skrill to Jazz Cash works fine as well (I know someone personally who does this all the time). However, JazzCash does have some low limits, and you'll also have to verify your Skrill account.

Srilanka surprised every cricket pundit in this tour. no one in wildest dream thought about that outcome before starting this series. Congratulation to Srilanka for becoming first ever Sub continent team to beat southafrica in sa.

Not even after the start of first test until Kusal Perera played this monster innings to give Sri Lanka the win in the first test. Even in the 2nd test people were thinking SA is going to win it until in SA 2nd innings they warped up all the batsman.

In both test matches Sri Lanka started from behind but finished it in fashion.

This win was achieved mainly due to the fact that the Sri Lanka bowlers bowled well in the series. I believe they learned a lot when playing in New Zealand and Australia before heading to South Africa which I said in one of my posts on here. The South Africa pitches are very similar to the Australian and New Zealand pitches and so the Sri Lanka bowlers were able to bowl well. So a lot of credit goes to the bowlers on the way they played in this series and also credit goes to Kusal Perera amazing second innings batting in the first test match. Sri Lanka still have a lot of work to do on their batting before they become a top team but I think they have a good bowling attack.

Cricket: 'The biggest upset in test history' - Sri Lanka stun South Africa for series win

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=12206665

Why is this series win by SL the biggest ever upset in Test History?

Playing away from home
Had not won a match since October
Top 3 pace bowlers injured
New Captain
Chandimal and Mathews absent
Batting last and conceded a lead both Tests
No Asian team had won a series in SA

~snip~

Well, Quetta won this nail bitter match only on the last ball. This was a great game of cricket and went right down to the last ball of the match.
PSL matches are becoming more tense as the tournament is progressing.
It's becoming more clear to me that Quetta will win the tournament. They have the strength and confidence to win it. Lahore played well today like yesterday but it was not their day. Well done Quetta.

The real issue with Quetta Gladiators is the loss of momentum at the time when the tournament is about to finish. They've been in the finals for a couple of times, but they face real difficulty in semi-finals and finals. Quetta Gladiators might win all of these (ten) matches, but if they're unable to win the finals, these wins will actually be totally useless. I personally would like to see Sarfaraz winning this league as it'll prove that he is the best option available (for captaincy) for the ICC World Cup 2019.
