Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance Enables Debit and Credit Card Payments

True; even in the last 24 hours, BNB is in the top 5 gainers (24-hours) among the top 100 coins (by market cap), probably due to the card deposits announcement: https://i.imgur.com/D8yicvS.pngJust because of there's something new, BNB gained 2.17% within 24hrs.... doesn't look unusual to me. How is this affected by the newly enabled debit/credit card deposit? Can someone shed some light here. Wait, I'll guess... [1] Do the clients actually buy BNB but under the hood then it will be traded into the coin of their choice? If that's the case, higher 24hr-gain isn't that far-fetched. [2] Or their BNB coin suddenly became " fancy" in the eyes of traders because there's something new, that's kinda stupid and the main reason that crypto trading became too speculation-based. BNB's performance is actually highly affected by Binance's (exchange) performance. With every good update (such as the recent Binance's acquisition of Trust Wallet) provided by Binance, BNB shows some positivity in value. Moreover, Binance just keeps adding more & more new advantages (for traders) for holding/buying BNB. In simple words, if you're a believer of Binance (and especially the upcoming Binance DEX), you should get some BNB. The future's Binance decentralized exchange (Binance DEX) will be highly dependent upon Binance Chain (blockchain of BNB coin), and even yesterday, when CZ in an AMA session at Twitter announced that the DEX is now near to completion (and the testnet of BNB coin will be made public soon), the BNB token pumped almost 5% immediately.

A new roadmap for Cardano will be introduced on the 18th of April (or slightly after that) of this year: The Cardano roadmap is changing. We will be launching an exciting new roadmap which showcases the Cardano 2020 vision after the IOHK Summit, which will be taking place on April 17-18. CEO Charles Hoskinson will outline this vision in his keynote speech and the roadmap will be relaunched with a renewed focus on this milestone. For the time being, we will be removing the timer on the roadmap page as well as publishing intermittent updates about important software releases.

Pakistan won by 27 runs against South Africa today in the last T20 match of the 3-match series.
Summary of Pakistan's tour to South Africa:
-Test series = South Africa won by 3-0
-ODI series = South Africa won by 3-2
-T20I series = South Africa won by 2-1
These results are not surprising considering that Pakistan batting line up has been on the decline for quite a while now, their only strength is their bowling. I have to be honest never expected Africa to do so well, considering their team is going though a transitional phase. Honestly, most of the matches that South Africa won were way too close. South Africa won the last 2 T20Is by 6 and 7 runs, won a test match due to Azhar Ali not being able to play just 10 balls, got an unexpected advantage of rain in one of the ODIs and won it through Duckworth–Lewis–Stern (DLS) method by 13 runs, etc. Overall, even though South Africa succeeded in winning the whole tour of Pakistan, I'd still not say that Pakistan played very bad. Both the teams played fine, but the South African team played a little better.

Grin will soon jump to $ 10 again.
I don't see the fundamentals supporting that valuation, soon. I've stated before, I think "fair value" for this is around $0.50-$1 USD/GRIN all things considered. And even that is probably a bit optimistic, TBH. Disclaimer: Don't listen to anything I have to say. I'm wrong about a lot of things. I agree. ~$1 seems just about right for GRN. Sooner or later, we might get to see a dead cat jump, but that just won't change the downtrend. Grin has definitely succeeded in perfectly following the general path of altcoins from November 2017 to February 2019 within just 15 days: Just-another-altcoin from November 2017 to February 2019:

~snip~ I am willing to bet 0.01BTC for England not to win the worldcup. Who is here to challenge me LOL
I am serious by the way. if anyone is up for the challenge then I will create a new topic for the bet. Anyone? hehe
Maybe we can really have a separate topic for world cup related bets between BTT users? However, I should tell you in advance that I won't be participating in that bet of yours! IMO, the English cricket team is overrated right now. I am up for that. I am considering to create a pot where BTT members will predict who will win the world-cup. Whoever win will take all the money. If this is a single person then all the money goes not him and if it's multiple people then they split equally. May be we can use an escrow to send the fund or few of us can create a multiSig wallet and hold the keys. Once we will find the winner/s then we all sign the transaction? Let me know. I am excited about it Cheers :-) Well, you're the one who's going to manage it, so I guess you should choose an option that looks easier for you to handle. IMO, an escrow would be just fine!

Taking away satoshi's coins is no different than what happened with ETH&DAO in the past. Immutability is bitcoin's core feature. If you take away satoshi's coins and redistribute them, you'll just fork yourself away into another shitcoin which nobody uses.
So... did immutability win in the case of ETH&DAO? Ethereum did the right thing and people agreed to it, see the current situation of Ethereum Classic for proof. Immutability didn't succeed! If you take away satoshi's coins and redistribute them, you'll just fork yourself away into another shitcoin which nobody uses.
If a group of person can decide to take one person's stash and redistribute them, then they can decide to take mine later too.

Does someone know where his body is?
I think it's only a matter of years at most to see him get arrested. I don't believe anything of what these con artists are trying to pull off here. It's so easy to live unnoticed in certain countries, especially with false documents. With that amount of money as 'reward', I'm sure that there is enough incentive and will to stay under the radar for a long period of time. It's a well executed plan with enough time put into thinking through every possible scenario. It wouldn't even surprise me if he ends up sending funds back home one way or another. Eventually he'll make a mistake and the authorities will whoop his bum.... Are you actually saying he is alive and the news of his death is an elaborate hoax? Actually, it's not just us:

However, I'd not be so sure about him making any mistake and getting noticed by the authorities: Eventually he'll make a mistake and the authorities will whoop his bum.... He's probably going to play everything very cleverly, let's see if it's "clever-enough".

Yes but will there be any chance for the people who lost their coin? I highly doubt. Either way they have to close the business. Really hacked : How are they gonna recover all the loses to run the business? Scammed: It was planned So, either way the customers who lost their coins gets nothing. True; we might get to see a good Topia drama soon. IMO, Cryptopia should continue its services and recover the (hacked) coins through the profits they make.

Well Pakistan could not make it. South Africa won by 7 runs. There was a point when it was easy for Pakistan to win the match but they lost too many wickets at the end which eventually wasted the balls as well.
Well deserved win for South Africa.
Honestly, Shoaib Malik's captaincy has been exposed today. He didn't manage the fielders correctly, he was too afraid to bowl at the end, and he didn't do anything when only 11 runs were required off 5 balls. Pakistan's T20 series winning streak of 11 has finally come to an end today, special thanks to Usman Khan Shinwari, Hassan Ali, and Shoaib Malik for making that happen.
