Also took a risk and bet on draw in SL v AUS match  with some spare bucks because the odds were too good and I still feel SL can put on some good score if they manage to get 2-3 good partnership going .

Sri Lanka has so far lost 3 wickets on the score of 142, not looking good at all so far for Sri Lanka. Kusal Mendis and Dinesh Chandimal should've shown a better performance at this stage! I hope (because of you) that it turns out to be a draw, as I'm sure that Sri Lanka from now on is going to fight for the draw, not for the win.
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best way to test out GPUs prior to sale? on: February 02, 2019, 11:53:01 PM
Most of the gamers only test the GPU through Furmark while buying, and if your cards are passing the stress test of Furmark, I think you're good to go. However, if you can somehow test the "GTA V (five)" (yes, the newer version of same old Grand Theft Auto) with highest possible resolution (of the game) in your system, it'll be the real test for your GPUs (especially of the cards till RX 200 series) in every possible way (stress, temperature, memory, etc). Play it for an hour, run to the Vespucci Beach (in the game of course), and see if everything's fine there. Grin
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 01, 2019, 09:32:25 PM
Today, South Africa won the first T20 match against Pakistan by a very little margin. It was an exciting and high-scoring match, and both the teams played well today. However, Shoaib Malik should've been able to finish what he started by playing till the very last ball of the match.

Few days after Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed found himself in trouble due to his statements on the field, his teammate Fakhar Zaman was heard abusing during their ODI match against South Africa. Ahmed had been handed a four-match suspension by the International Cricket Council for his racist comments against Andile Phehlukwayo during the second one-dayer on 22 January. The racism keeps increasing, compared to the western nation Asia has got very low percentage of racism attacks on the field. This has been increasing in Asian countries as well and the above news is an example of the same.

Fakhar's remarks are definitely abusive, but not racist in any way. I don't think that ICC should take any action at all on Fakhar's remarks, such abuses are way too common among cricketers. Roll Eyes

About 3.5 million BTC left to mine:

As of block 561,120, 83.4% of all BTC has been mined. Only 3,486,000 BTC left to mine!

Cryptopia is hiding behind the announcements of the police.

I'd not be so sure about that; according to police:

Quote
Cryptopia management and staff have been co-operating with Police and providing considerable assistance in the investigation.

If Cryptopia's management was actually behind this hack, they'd not be cooperating with the police at this time due to fear of being jailed. I still think that Cryptopia's bad security caused this hack, not the Cryptopia's bad intentions.

On top of that one shitty exchange "Mercatox "asking for money to stop hacker to sell stolen funds in their exchange. However, they denied that their representative is involved in this conversation. Still not a good sign.   Undecided

It seems like they really have no shame; one-of-its-kind shamelessness, literally.

2028  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance Enables Debit and Credit Card Payments on: January 31, 2019, 11:35:36 PM
Binance is an exchange that is getting better and better. This reflects token price.

True; even in the last 24 hours, BNB is in the top 5 gainers (24-hours) among the top 100 coins (by market cap), probably due to the card deposits announcement:

Binance now allows deposits through debit and credit cards:

https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022498052

It's such a nice update by Binance and an edition has been made to the comparison table. Wink

Great. Now it looks better. If I missed to give you a feedback:
This is a good list done by you. Keep up the good work.

Thanks!
2032  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Pakistan on: January 31, 2019, 11:12:29 AM
lol @shahzadafzal did u just gave gdp as an explanation why theres no board.

dude check other board they have less gdp than Pakistan. sometimes its better to not check facts Smiley and gdp doesn't matter

Haha yeah, including the GDP of both the countries looks quite unnecessary. Cheesy I think what @shahzadafzal wanted to mention is the difference in the population of Pakistan and the population of India.

IMO, the only reason why Pakistan doesn't have its own board is due to the lack of Pakistani users in the forums. If the Pakistanis can somehow manage in increasing the activity of this thread (to somewhat like ~30 posts a day), only then there could be a chance of getting a separate board for Pakistan.
2033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 30, 2019, 10:31:36 PM

That's quite an interesting idea. I'm amazed that nobody has tried it out yet; we can literally store all of Github on a single (bitcoin) blockchain.
2034  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto exchanges comparison [trade fee + listing fee + age + mobile app + more!] on: January 30, 2019, 09:39:49 PM
Luno (https://luno.com/) has been added to the comparison. Surprisingly, it looks like a very good exchange with fiat deposits/withdrawals enabled for a number of countries including:

South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Cryptopia should be removed.

Now they had the 2nd hack and saying that,
Quote
The report claims that the exchange platform does not have control over their Ethereum wallets’ private keys and that the hacker is the one in control.
https://ambcrypto.com/cryptopia-compromised-in-another-attack-by-hackers-loses-180k-worth-of-ethereum-eth/

So, I am pretty sure that cryptopia is gone for good.

Removed it upon your request.

I guess the BTC/USD price affected it.

2037  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia has been in "maintenance" for the last 14 hours! on: January 30, 2019, 12:10:55 AM
Some people must be automining and set the address to cryptopia did not know there was a hack and keep sending funds to those wallets which get sweeped, that said the hackers are doing the sweeping since Cryptopia isn't ...

I'm quite sure that there'd not be that many miners sending their Ethereum (a total of 1675 ETH) to Cryptopia. This looks like a fresh sweep by hackers, and literally, shame on police for not taking good care of the remaining un-hacked wallets. Roll Eyes

The Cryptopia Hack Is Not Over, Another 17K Wallets Drained - Report

https://cryptonews.com/news/the-cryptopia-hack-is-not-over-another-17k-wallets-drained-r-3284.htm

If the hackers have really managed to hack the remaining wallets again, I'd say that it should be New Zealand Police's duty to pay for that. They stopped Cryptopia from providing the updates, and clearly mentioned that:

Quote
A priority for police is to identify and, if possible, recover missing funds for Cryptopia customers; however there are likely to be many challenges to achieving this.

Incompetent police.
2040  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: January 29, 2019, 03:56:30 PM
Why the DASH withdraw fee is so big?

0.05 DASH = 3.6$

It's bigger then BTC withdraw fee...
Maybe devs have put a comma in the wrong place?  Huh

Wow, that's probably the highest withdrawal fee (of DASH) among all of the coins listed at Bittrex.

Let's compare it with a few other notable exchanges:

Binance = 0.002 DASH
Bitfinex = 0.01 DASH
HitBTC = 0.03 DASH

 Roll Eyes
Yep... It's a highest withdrawal fee in Bittrex and highest withdrawal fee for Dash among all exchanges...
And it is absolutely inadequate...
So I suppose it's just because devs have put a comma or dot in the wrong place...

I've submitted a ticket asking for the reason of having a huge DASH fee, and have advised them to lower it. Let's see if they take any action on the request.
