1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid been carried away, it's never going to be bullish forever on: May 19, 2021, 07:21:00 PM
I wish they read this before the blood bath today, the fact is it's never going to be bullish forever, we just have to take profit and move on at some point, I think today's bloodbath would teach so many noobs a lesson that the crypto market is very volatile and will not always go up forever, earlier this morning so many people got rekt and liquidated, it's important to always take profit and not be too greedy, greediness will only get you rekt.
Just feeling sorry if they don't because they all got hyped up and didn't think that there's always the end of the bull market. Well, let's just foresee and hope when will be the next bull market and that would be the time that it's going to hit $100k soon.
Those who have taken profit were already in profit and it's easy to absorb this huge dip because they have the means to buy the dip.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be Prepared for the big dump. on: May 19, 2021, 06:22:07 PM
You just said it when we've got the dump already and it happened. Everyone must be prepared whether it be a big dump or pump. I have that belief that after this big dump, we're going to see a better price after wards. It has to go down so that bitcoin could reach better price after this.
1603  Economy / Speculation / Re: Too late? on: May 19, 2021, 12:05:45 PM
Question for the experts here....

Is it too late to jump on the bitcoin-trend? Im considering investing in miners and potentially buying 1 or 2 bitcoins.
Or should I instead look for cheaper alternatives with similar potential?  Huh Huh Huh

Especially considering it has plummeted after regulators in China announced a clampdown on crypto.
If you can sustain the electricity bills if you're planning to have your own miners then that's good. But the ROI also relies on the market situation and what shall be your coins to mine. While you have plans to make your miners, it's a good choice to buy 1-2 bitcoins. I advise you to choose the latter first and that's the best decision that you can do at this time for which the market has dropped a lot. What alternative you can think of? buying altcoins that have dropped too much at these times?
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Elon? on: May 18, 2021, 05:52:47 PM
Unlikely, people most of the time never learn a lesson from their mistakes as they are not even aware they made a mistake, it is likely they are going to think that Elon just found something wrong with the coin and he was kind enough to let them know and saved them from losing even more money.
Very true. Even if they see that there's something wrong already, they're still good with Elon and even it's obvious that he dumped a lot after all of those hot news and announcements, they're still going to lean, believe and trust him. It's all about him no matter what happens, these investors are blindly going to follow him.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: May 18, 2021, 04:44:41 PM
  • CCN

Before I was also a fan of this website but anymore today. AFAIK, they've been closed and there's no update anymore from them. I've looked at the market section of their website and it's no longer updated. The last upload was since this February. Don't forget that there's also the new page for yahoo that they're also into cryptocurrency and bitcoin news too already.
1606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and energy consumption on: May 18, 2021, 10:36:08 AM
Frankly, if there is a problem with too much energy consumption, we should go back and live in caves, and hunt in groups.
Elon must read what you've said. He's too concern about the energy consumption of the miners but his business is more rotating with the usage of energy. We're not going back to the past and energy consumption in every place and in every industry. That's what they're forgetting. I don't understand these people that are bringing up the issue about energy being used by the miners as if it's the only money making machine that does that.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin should be afraid of tron on: May 18, 2021, 09:40:59 AM
U cant beat the cheap fees and fast Transactions.
Then bitcoin should be tumbling done. It has high fees yet the transactions are kept going. It's just about how you set the fee that's acceptable to you. $10 fee can be cheap for a $1000 transaction and more.
There's no need for bitcoin to be afraid of because time and time again, this has been addressed many times yet the people are staying to bitcoin no matter what people are saying about its fee.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin has burned 90%, Shiba Inu drops 40% on: May 18, 2021, 08:59:04 AM
As part of the correction that the market is going through. His donation to the charity that he'll be chosen is a very noble act and the same with the amount of aid that he has sent to India during their difficult times. And if there's a big drop to Shiba Inu after his announcement, it's all due to the market correction that it's no exception. He's commendable with the act of charity because he's totally rich. About the burning of tokens, there's really a lot of supply for Shiba and if he burned his 90% of tokens then he contributed to its economy.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Earn - Help me understand! on: May 17, 2021, 08:22:12 PM
It looks like they're risk free because it is Binance. But if you will analyze what people above me said, you're putting your money at risk because it's an exchange.
You don't hold your keys and you'll never know what will happen in the future without it holding the keys. If you're freely going with any of those features and they have a free withdrawal rule, you earn almost nothing with them.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin should be afraid of tron on: May 17, 2021, 07:19:17 PM
As an alternative then you can use tron and other altcoins that are quick and cheap. But nothing will replace bitcoin at the top as it's the first and has been embraced by the world already and that's hard to change. You see old threads that are taking about the same and said that it can replace bitcoin and they should be afraid of it because of the same factors. Until now, most of those remained to be words and while bitcoin has hit another all time high, those altcoins remained good but most of them ended badly.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB will break $1000 soon. What are ways for BNB holders to earn free money? on: May 17, 2021, 03:26:11 PM
I think the value has dropped and it's no longer $20k but needless to say, you already got the resources and you have to explore what's in it on Binance exchange for you to grow that holdings you have with BNB. If you're early with the launchpool, I think that's one of the best way to earn more BNB. Since you have the capital already, you only need to watchout from time to time if there are projects that are available to join using that Binance's feature.
1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or TRX? to have most potential from here (15/05/2021) on: May 17, 2021, 08:26:43 AM
Which would you invest in out of the two at current prices?
Thanks
LTC.
TRX is cheap and can really go as high as you can imagine but I don't think that there's more to it. I've got more confidence in LTC but I understand those people that also got confidence in TRX. It's just that I like LTC more than TRX.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A common enemy in the crypto world--Elon Musk! on: May 17, 2021, 07:43:06 AM
Hold on to btc no matter what Elon Musk says. And there's a new confirmation from him through his twitter that says Tesla hasn't sold any amount of bitcoin. Look at the guy, he loves to play the feelings of everyone and if you're having a weak heart then it's not for you. Just avoid the world of twitter and focus on your holdings. No need to look at any update unless you're a day trader who relies on the market news and issues in circulation.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid been carried away, it's never going to be bullish forever on: May 16, 2021, 10:12:50 PM
This is a very good advice, always take profit from your positions.
It is important to take profits while you're in the good position and just as what we're experiencing, times like this do really come and if you're too greedy and thinks that the market will go bullish forever, you're going to miss the profit taking opportunity and eventually will learn the lesson. Just as the past bull runs and bear markets, we've learned the lesson and missed a lot of those profit taking opportunities because greed had hit us.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi Global, Kucoin and Gate.io? on: May 16, 2021, 09:41:11 PM
Kucoin is good and you'll not have problems with them. They're an aspiring Binance exchange and they're following where Binance is going so you should be good using them. I have no experience with Huobi and Gate but I've seen good reviews about them too but to prove that, I lack of evidence because I have never used them.
Is it similar to like binance where if you don't do KYC, you could still withdraw x amount?
For kucoin, yes.

1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: May 16, 2021, 09:09:10 PM
Vitalik rug pulled.
donating shiba inu is a good step because it includes a relatively cheap price,
maybe one day it will be expensive and may double the amount of shiba inu donated
It is a good step when someone sends billions of aide to the affected country. We know what India is going through and that aide that he did was a very big help to them. He might rug pulled and got some profit out of it but that seems to be disliked by those communities of meme coins.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin become more stable than Bitcoin on: May 16, 2021, 08:40:08 PM
Dogeocoin couple of days 0.5% minus only. It became a stable coin  Grin
Just this time because Musk is helping to retain its value while telling negative things about bitcoin.
People feel more confident to invest now in dogecoin.
I don't think many are confident about it. It's only temporary and once Musk starts to sell just as the same as bitcoin, you'll see a lot of Dogecoin holders to panic too and the whales of it.
Seems like it stop being a pump and dump and people hold it long term.
Maybe because of him but we'll see how it will end up.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Buying] Ternios, PayPal on: May 16, 2021, 08:10:38 PM
Thanks for the heads up! Do you recommend any guards while doing the trade to prevent such event from happening?
You're welcome. If it's not with PayPal transaction, any of the escrow from that list will help you to prevent negative thing to happen with that trade.
But if it's PayPal, I think that many of them will decline to escrow your transaction because they cannot do something if the other party has reversed back the payment to you.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Buying] Ternios, PayPal on: May 15, 2021, 11:36:19 PM
It will difficult for you to find someone who's going to trade and have it paid in PayPal. Your buyer might reverse the transaction while taking those Ethereum that you've sold.
But if it's the other option which is they're going to pay you with ternios, although I haven't heard that before. That type of trade would be easier for you or any other crypto that you want to accept. And to secure the trade, use escrow.

1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV and Bitcoin Gold Wallets on: May 15, 2021, 10:50:34 PM
I would not want to keep bitcoin sv on the Electrum SV wallet.  Where could i send the bitcoin sv to.. for storage?  Or send it to an exchange and keep it there or sell it?

Thanks.
If you don't want to keep bitcoin sv then the obvious choice is to sell them on exchanges where you can dump that as quick as you can. Don't think of exchanges as a place to store your altcoins or any crypto that you have in your stash. They're not the place of storing. If you want to keep it and you think that you can a little bit higher profit from it, it's easy to know where you can store it through its supported wallets.
