1381  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: July 20, 2023, 11:04:47 AM
entrepreneurship is for everyone who has a passion for business, which is different from everyone who wants to do business. That means, there is no discussion of gender, that's clear. and all of us can create a business, as long as we have determination, dedication and passion really. Because there are others when the business slows down, they stop immediately while others continue.
True to that but it's easier to understand that entrepreneurship is just the same as having a business. I know that there's an actual difference on it but for the sake of not widening the discussion about it, let's both agree that there's no gender preference for one to start a business. Talents are for both men and women if it's about owning a business and being an entrepreneur. But the grind and tolerance of staying on one's commitment is where many do fall apart. At the start, it could be enticing and positive but it's not for everyone and many do realize it only at the end.
1382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 20, 2023, 09:52:20 AM
So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.
I am not sure if I was able to make big and there's this point of my gambling life that I was about to hit a big win.

In dice, doubt has always stood in the way of a big win. When I have a strong feeling that 9900x is just a few bets away, I don't put a wager out of fear of "what if." The same thing happens with 99x every time.
Maybe that's also one of my what if, when it's with the dice. When I was carefree and just doing some YOLO, that's just like an almost win but not certain with those prevented me from winning big amounts.

I think that I've seen some complains in certain groups that they're complaining that after they've said eligible for an airdrop, not with this one on this thread but in some other projects. After they claim it, they're now about to take it through sending it and that's why they need to deposit a little amount for the gas fee. And they're not aware of it that by some smart contract, any amount that's deposited to that address the airdroppers will provide upon connecting it to their wallet and website, it will automatically suck the deposited amount for the fee.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 19, 2023, 11:25:31 PM
Quest is still strong without ATF but it's possible that ATF was the brain during all of their run.

Quest esport is the only team that won 3-0 ( 6-0 ) for their first 3 games and currently Xtreme Gaming won the 1st map against them. I thought they could make a clean sweep for today then advance to the group stage on the very first day.
I was correct that they're still strong but did have my doubts about it without ATF. Anyway, this is a good run that they're having and the first day is done. The last day of the play in is going to be tomorrow, I don't understand the bracketing though. There are teams, the direct invites are just waiting so, this means that there will be eliminated teams by tomorrow on this play in, is that right? So before proceeding the group stages and joining the waiting teams, those that will be at the lowest points will be eliminated and that's like 6 teams to be eliminated by tomorrow and 6 to contine.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 19, 2023, 08:31:21 PM
Tbh, I'd still have the Nuggets over the current Suns rosters. My views would change in mid season whether or not the Suns had an upgrade or just the same.
While too many talks about the rumors and biggest contracts, people are forgetting that the Nuggets are still Nuggets and they can still be this upcoming season's top team. But yes, that's likely to change when we see what happens to them in the mid-season. Because from there, it's going to be visible whether they're still dominating and they're likely to get into the playoffs. Although some of them have already been traded and gone out of the team but the entire major players are still intact.

No one would forget what the Nuggets did last season; it's just that they aren't a superteam, so the hype isn't really that big. Actually, there are still plenty of fans who believe the Nuggets won't repeat. This poses a challenge for them, and considering how humble this team is, they surely won't be complacent. Instead, they will work to improve their weaknesses.
It's a different marketing as well from the league because they're not as big as the other teams and the hype isn't there. If there are fans that do think they won't be able to make a repeat, that's okay. They even have got those before they win a ring. That's a normal mindset for them to have people that doubts them but that's not going to stop them from working harder this time to maintain the title on their position and they've got more confidence now.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell Shib now? Am holding on: July 19, 2023, 07:07:02 PM
You'll never know how long these meme coins are going to stay in the market. If it's Doge, it's common that it will stay but as for these popular meme coins for now. They may be as good as they are right now but if you're encouraging everyone to buy it, good luck to those that will find it interesting the same as you do. It would be encouraging if you're going to tell everyone to hold bitcoin but that's it, this is the market that we've got difference in terms of choice what to hold and to have.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 18, 2023, 11:28:56 AM
We have a few days of DOTA rest before the Riyadh Master starts 5 days from now. While SEA is probably in its weakest season, another player is joining another team outside the region. Entity has a new offlane in this tournament, Gabbi.
And this makes Ceb play for the current OG squad as their pos 4. This is like version 2 of The International and for sure teams are going to go all in on this one.

That's cool. Every team that feels like they are still capable of winning has to change and do some experiments because last year, final qualifiers Team Secret and Liquid went on to play very well unexpectedly and finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Meanwhile, Quest Esports who's also on a good run lately and is clearly a black horse if it is able to qualify for TI thru the last qualifier seems to have some internal issues. A week ago, they parted ways with their coach Accell. And then ATF whose loan contract had just expired decided to leave citing Quests' offer as unacceptable. This is weird, Saudi is pouring millions to billions of dollars into events, sports, and esports so I guess ATF's concern is not about the money. So I guess Quest won't be the same again in the coming Riyadh Masters and TI Last Qualifier.
Quest is still strong without ATF but it's possible that ATF was the brain during all of their run. He did great with the team and the team has actually improved and added a lot of experience from the professional scene. As for Saudi, they're just expanding their investments and aside from oil, they can see that esports is growing and soon in the future, it's possible that they're targeting to be an esports hub as the prince there is also a fan and player of Dota 2. I'm not just sure with other games, probably he's too.
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 18, 2023, 07:34:36 AM
I prefer bear markets, actually. I'm not planning to sell my Bitcoin anytime soon. And buying it at a higher price is not the best feeling when you bought it cheaper before.
Of course, you don't want to buy it when the price seems to be higher. If you've been holding it for a long time, there's that feeling that you don't want to sell it. In my experience, I've held for quite a while but then sold at a price I think was the peak but I was wrong with that. Still, profit for me is still a profit and despite that there have been a better peak price that came out after I sold. That's usually happens when we sell, the price goes higher and then it'll be down again.

1390  Economy / Economics / Re: Can CBDC users lose control of their money? on: July 18, 2023, 04:21:18 AM
IMHO, these CBDCs are nothing just like the cash that we've got. While the government has control over the supply of it, with CBDCs it's easier for them to really have those accounts have more balance and there's no need for the third-party confirmation which is what we have in the real world through the banks. There are strict protocols that the banks have and that's what is making it for CBDC easier. It just sounds interesting to hear out that there's CBDCs but, I am not optimistic about it unless it touches the Bitcoin market and adds some fuel to its market cap.
1391  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.GAME do not support on: July 17, 2023, 01:20:39 PM
I would like to leave here my indignation with BC.Game. I've been trying to solve a problem for 3 weeks and the support only knows how to open tickets and promise deadlines that they don't meet.
That's actually the work and task of the supports, they'll just redirect your concern to the respective departments and then all you need to do is to wait for an update about it. And if there's still no response and you think that it's taking them long, ask an update from them.

The problem is, I'm entitled to an affiliate reward. But I don't think the site wants to pay. Anyone else having problems with this site?
I don't think they don't want you to pay. Maybe there's some reasons behind and that's why asking them through the support needs to be clear on what the actual matter is. But I wish that everything is going to be taken care of and your eligible affiliate reward will be given to you.
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effects on LGBTQ+ People on: July 17, 2023, 11:03:52 AM
I have nothing against that community and its people. But every sector of these specific groups and community looks like having their own sense of entitlement that they're discriminated against. How about those normal and no gender bias people that are also being discriminated against?
There's no gender preference in all forms of discrimination. Everyone can be a victim of it, a gambler or not, a member of LGBTQ+ or not as in everyone can be targeted by those establishments and individuals that do like to do so.
Gender is nothing in gambling, as long as you have the money to gamble you are welcome.
Though the society still have the issues with other gender but I think, you must ignore it and just focus on your gambling activities. If playing online makes you more confident to gamble then so be it, no one will judge you online and I agree about the discrimination if you are going to play on physical casinos, well that’s the reality.
You're right, it should just be ignored and it shouldn't be given that much attention if it's with gambling. It's because almost everywhere, there's racist and it chooses no gender, and the same with the discrimination that people are getting in society. This is the reality that we're involved with, we just have to choose to be the better person and avoid doing such. But even with that, we can't avoid that there will always be those type of people that will discriminate others for whatever they are.
1393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Not Nerdy Enough on: July 17, 2023, 08:31:30 AM
It's okay, not everyone is privileged as you and us to know the concept of Bitcoin as well as the things that are related to economics. People are taking one step at a time and it doesn't matter whether they're slow or quick in the learning process. It's not actually a big deal if they're not versed with bitcoin and blockchain technology. It's all about the preference of someone because if s/he really wants to know about it, the initiative to dig a lot from it will happen.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is not Practical on: July 16, 2023, 09:12:16 PM
Literally no one has money that they can afford to lose.
Gambling is an exception of it.

Hey gamblers my question is to you now is, the money you currently plan to use for gambling is it money that you can afford to lose?
Yes.
I'm thinking that it's gone already when I gamble. That's why the thinking that I've got is not pushing me to my disappointment when I lose. And that is because I've already accepted the fate of where my money will go. So, the approach will have to depend on myself as well and I am just enjoying every cent of it.

1396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Retiring on bitcoin on: July 16, 2023, 01:18:57 PM
How many bitcoins does a person need to retire, what is the cashout plan and why?
Depends on where you live. If the cost of living in your country is high then calculate that with some statistics on how much a person needs for an average retirement fund. 1 Bitcoin could be enough with an average price of $30k~ish but in major cities and countries, that's barely enough for a retired person. That's why, you need to look at those studies on how much it will cost a retirement fund to become sufficient and compute on how much Bitcoin should be in the future if you're wanting to retire already. But I think many will agree like having 1 Bitcoin and the price of one is $1M.  Cool

ATF is out for the Quest Esports in this upcoming Riyadh Masters. It's not because of any attitude issue like what people are thinking about it. It's about that Quest and Nigma didn't agree with the terms that they got as ATF was just a loan back then.

1398  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where should I play? Asking for recommendations. on: July 15, 2023, 11:52:10 AM
Most of the casinos these days will ask you for KYC if happen you're about to withdraw a significantly huge amount of money. If you haven't found a casino and bookie to bet with, Duelbits is always there for you. The staff of himself said that they won't ask you for KYC until it's quite a huge amount already and they happen to see some unusual activities and logins happening in your account. Aside from the casino and sports games, you may also be interested in their usual promotions.
1399  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: July 15, 2023, 09:39:58 AM
The censorship with Twitter before was at the utmost level and Elon was aware of that and during his acquisition, that's one that he has reduced. Not entirely eliminated because it's still happening. I may dislike him for his attitude and trolling for so many things including the crypto market but I'll give him that count. But if it's about his management of this company, he's not top-notch on it compared to the other companies that he owns. He's still got a lot of things to work on this one until he goes ROI and if he sees Twitter like a sinking ship, I think that he's got contingency plans.
For Twitter, Elon Musk does have a backup strategy. Before purchasing it, he had his strategy all in place. He established the adjustments and policies in order to monetize Twitter and use it for personal financial gain.

Of recent, Elon Musk shared $5 million to creators on Twitter. The $5 million to be shared is gotten from Ad revenues from replies.

This is the first time it has occurred in the history of social media platforms. No social media network has ever carried out such an action.

Link for the info:   https://dataconomy.com/2023/07/14/twitter-ad-revenue-sharing-how-to/
It's not yet known to the masses and if this is like a revenue-sharing model fro content creators then it has to be known by the other content creators from other social networks. With this, the other social networks are going to be more competitive and will only make the competition better so that we'll be having more quality content creators staying on these platforms. This is a sustainable business model for him and it will attract more advertisers and traffic.
1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 06:14:57 PM
If a gambler have the wrong intention to gamble in other to make profit,he will end up losing all his funds because he will be controlled by his emotion.
And that's because he'll keep on chasing losses and that's an unacceptable matter for a gambler that's seriously doing it because he's all for the profit. Like everyone else that focuses on the profit but it's a different thing when you know your limitations.

If you allow your emotions to control you in gambling, you will easily become an addict.
It is not going to be noticed by the gambler that has been controlled by his own emotions already that he's addicted. All of those factors being said are good help if ever someone is experiencing this realization now.
