Team Spirit is good in countering picks and also in slowing down the game to give space for yatoro and have him his farm and items. I think with Team Liquid, they have to restrategize if they've been reusing strategies again and again. Like if for Talon, the fast game worked for them then they should have at least tried a different strategy if that fast game didn't worked for Team Spirit. Whilst zai and nisha has always been a performer, it seems that every fan is putting blame on micke.

They did try to change things up, but Team Spirit is way ahead of them in this tournament. It is the little things that they do that put Team Spirit to be better than Team Liquid. Like when have troll warlord on Yatoro and they are at a big disadvantage, the supports itemized to make troll better.  Eventually, Yatoro was able to catch up and they won the map. Aside from Yatoro always on point, like he knows where to go to avoid Liquid and when to push for the kill. That eventually put fear on team Liquid and you can see that they are very afraid of Yatoro. They cannot complete a high ground push even when they are way ahead. Team Spirit is just a better team in drafts and execution.
When there's too much prize money a on tournament, Team Spirit won't let that slip. Well, that play with troll for Yatoro. Truly props to the supports as having a troll is like having a sure minus one whenever there's no longer an ulti and bkb on it.

Micke is a shit carry and always picking up that Drowranger on which it would really be just that so easy to kill and you could really see that Yatoro is really that a good and aggressive carry unlike Micke.
I wont really be that surprised if he would be leaving the team or would be kicked out, it is really just that a waste on seeing zai and nishas effort on trying out to baby and carry out their carry most of the time.
Early gaming strategy against Team Spirit wont really be that effective considering that their drafts is always that versatile on which they could really be able to give a fight even if the match would
really be lasting from middle to end game.

It is really just that been turns out to be that normal that Team Liquid do always end up on second place consistent.  Cheesy
True, I like more yatoro as a carry than micke. Yatoro seems to be careful yet quick in farming and at the same time whenever his team needs his backup, he's there. Well, the curse of former EG has been transferred to Team Liquid for earning 2nd at most of their tournaments.
1342  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Now let’s talk about CEX or DEX on: August 01, 2023, 10:24:06 AM
Which platform do we think is more reputable and have good track record of security? Does either of them have good liquidity?
Going with the typical way of determining about their liquidity, just look at the websites like coinmarketcap on this category.
So that's the list for dex and cex and if it's about the track of the record, you're able to get some ideas from the other members posted already on this thread. It's based on what they're using and what they've been with for a long time. And in terms of security, you need to remember that all of them can be targets and have vulnerability that will just be found out once an attack happens successfully.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 31, 2023, 05:08:22 PM
Team Liquid fell short again after losing 3-1 to Team Spirit in the finals, and the series is almost the same as the upper bracket finals, where they started out strong in the first game, and then Team Spirit started to click on the remaining games. Team Spirit's team fighting was overall better after that first game loss, and they punished Team Liquid so hard in the third game by countering their Io Lesh with an AA pick. In the fourth game, Team Liquid tried to gain an early lead but failed because Team Spirit is always getting something back.
1344  Other / Meta / Re: I would like to post a Chinese job posting on: July 31, 2023, 02:40:00 PM
I would like to post a Chinese job posting. According to forum rules, how to post it is legal
Basically if you want to post a job posting in that language then you go ahead and post it on their local: Local > 中文 (Chinese)
And using the translate to English feature of my browser, this sub is their flea market: 跳蚤市场
But I think you do understand some Chinese characters so if your target and potential hirees are Chinese then go ahead in there and then when you're done, as said by Cantsay given the Service section, you can also post it in English language including all the details of it as many Chinese people also do understand English language and might read that thread you'll post there.
1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really Burn helps Token in positive way? on: July 30, 2023, 03:49:03 PM
Hi,
Some How this Burn Buzz word stuck in my mind and i didn't see practical results so far in any successful token.

For example, Shiba Inu is burning tokens aggressively and is it really helping them?

May be i am noob here and happy to hear from experts!

I believe this topic will be useful for someone too!
Not all of those tokens and projects that burn their supply are successful. As you've said, it becomes a buzz word whenever there is an announcement from any token and project that they're going to burn supply. Some of those are lucky to have a strong community and any news that they release to their community are being bought by their investors. But as I have said, not all of them are the same and even with halving or burning, not all gets the attention.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ADVICE]Boy Wins $46k from Sports Bet but Can't Tell Strict Religious Parents... on: July 30, 2023, 10:22:35 AM
Someone recently won $46,606 from making a correct prediction on one of the matches in the on-going 2023 FIFA Women World Cup competition from his wager of $10 on a sports betting website. The person is unemployed and within the ages of 20 - 23. He lives with his parents who are strict religious people that frown on gambling and other youthful vices. His parents are certainly not going to be happy that their son engages in gambling despite winning such huge amount of money. He doesn't want them to be upset with him. He says he's going to keep it a secret. I disagreed with him because despite having strict parents, they are going to be mad at him for a little while but I don't think they'll tell him to return the money. What do you guys think?
The guy has just won the money and doesn't have intentions to tell it to his parents, well, that's a better decision than returning the money. It doesn't make sense that after you won such amount, you're thinking of returning it despite winning it flawlessly.

Should he tell his parents or secretly invest the money while acting his regular self around the house?
Nothing will change, whether he tells it or not. The winning is on him and he'll just probably get a sermon to his parents for gambling but even that, they'll just tell him to not do that again because what if he losses and becomes addicted. That's basically the debate goes around with a religious family.
1347  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 30, 2023, 07:10:46 AM
If you believe in Rollbit, growth of the platform, tokenomics of $RLB token and the plan of Rollbit team to buy back and burn the token, to reduce its total supply, and if you missed chance to take profit with the all time high 3 weeks ago, you can hold and wait for 2024 bull run.
I think Rollbit is doing a good job in maintaining and following their tokenomics. I've seen people that are not in the forum and not to be found in other casinos but they're into RLB. I am not sure how and where they heard it but that just shows to me that they're doing good in terms of maintaining their status for the project aside from the casino itself. Although I still have my thoughts thinking if I'll get into that much tokens again because of my failure in the past in some other projects for which unlikely to be seen for now with rlb.

The website needs more polish because the information that it shows is I am sure inaccurate. While it shows "data not found" for the lottery calendar and it's just new. You need to fix the accurate input of this information or else you're misleading your visitors. I think that it's a template with these numbers and you haven't edited it yet, so I am giving the benefit of the doubt until you change it.

1349  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 29, 2023, 10:21:00 AM
There are many diverse opinions about following one's passion and wealth. I read two stories of people who followed their passion, and in a short period of time, the businesses became very profitable.

In story 1, Defossey left a job at Apple to open a BBQ restaurant in Mexico City. It made $9 million in sales last year. In story 2, Sean Audet, a 30-year-old, spent $0 launching a food photography side hustle, and now he brings in $134,000 a year.

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth?
That's definitely possible and you should focus on your passion before thinking of making money from it. These people just believed in their passion and grit and the money has followed them. Because if you're going to put money first in what you do, you'll get tired. But these people worked tirelessly and their motivation proved to them that they did the right thing to follow their passion.

If yes, what is stopping you from following it?
All of us have it but there's some force that stops us. Maybe the obligation that we've got in our personal lives but those who takes risk are the ones sees the good and bad results of it instead of those that don't do nothing at all.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 29, 2023, 08:21:25 AM
And we know that a gambler that chases his losses will end up with a bad result. Too many stories that have been told that each gambler that won't stop will have the same ending as the others that have ended with a failure and disappointment. I think every gambler is aware of that if they won't stop but, it just so happen that stopping is a hard thing to do when you're attached and invested to your activity and had dedicated a lot of time on it.

To be fair, I have seen some successful stories when a gambler goes after their losses in a so-called "revenge gambling" spree. They have claimed to recover their money and even getting some additional winnings.

Though, even those those are cases of success, eventually the revenge gambling will inevitably end up in what you have described: a long downfall into a spiral of disappointed and loss of money.
There's possibility that a very few gamblers will have their revenge gambling happen successfully. But this isn't for everyone, it happens rarely, and the typical result that we see is when most of them have that disappointment and you're right that aside from that, losing more money.

In the worst case scenario, those stories could encourage others to do the same, it is easy to leave greed to take over one's mind.
True to that and that's going to give them more idea that they should go for it. And have the basic mindset that, if that happens to the other gamblers and they have successfully recovered, what is it for them for not trying since they're already losing?
1351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a best way of withdrawing profits from exchanges? on: July 29, 2023, 06:20:43 AM
I don't plan on withdrawing any profits for a long time at least until 2024 but just wondering if there is a best/ cheapest way of doing so when the time comes?

2024/25 will be my first bull run and up till now all I have been doing is buying have yet to sell anything for cash.

Is there a best/cheapest way of withdrawing profits to bank?
You'll have to go through with exchanges and you can't abstain from the fees that they earn from trading fees and some from the commission each withdrawal that a user makes. If you want to flee from the fees as you withdraw then you can ask for someone and do a P2P transaction but that's going to cost you uncertainty if you do the actual thing and you won't go through with the exchange's P2P. I'd tell you what, don't be too worried about the fees, they're not that much and just wait until the bull run arrives on town.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 28, 2023, 10:13:12 PM
Well the result wouldnt change even if he hadnt remove his hand from his keyboard.
I disagree, it's possible that the result will change if he just focused on the objective of destroying the throne instead of being too excited and happy when the match hasn't ended yet. The focus on mind during a game is important and for sure if he wasn't cheering that early, he would have noticed the bottom lane was getting through by the creeps.

Alot of people seems to be upset about this while in fact this chanes nothing, Liquid was always the better team so this is kinda weird when most bettors then to blame him for not paying any attention because in this case, I think Zai was brilliant enough to pull this off
Zai was too humble to say that they've lost on that match particularly if it's a toe-to-toe match. But it's still a game the other side has to destroy the throne and world tree and Zai just ended it that way.
1353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Saylor ever sell? on: July 28, 2023, 08:20:59 PM
What's the opposite of buying? Definitely selling. And we will never know when it will happen but one thing for sure is that it's going to happen. People like him that has companies to focus on its concern will have to look at the benefit of it somewhere someday in the future.
That's why when the time has come and they're all in profit on it, there's no doubt that we'll about to see that it's all for the profit and none other than this guy is all for Bitcoin to hold forever. Remember when Tesla was on the news buying Bitcoins and then later on sold but didn't exposed it early.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 28, 2023, 01:54:59 PM
We do always get a lot of that reminders but we have no idea if many of the readers do follow that are experiencing severe gambling. And a gambler will always be aware of how much he starts to gamble but when the feeling is intense, he'll never know how much he's been losing because his mind is also losing because of the emotional trigger that gambling gives to anyone. So you get the idea of those gamblers that are reminded but then, still forgets to follow these tips.

In my opinion, it is actually worse if a gambler who is addicted continues to keep track of his losses and chases them, because that encourages him to further gamble to recover all that money and also can translate to severe problems at a mental level, like depression, anxiety and feelings of loneliness.

If one is addicted to gambling, the best course of action is to forget about that money and seek professional help before it gets even worse. Having family who cares about them also helps a lot.

That's no longer part of our problem I guess. There's no need to force them to be responsible. That's their money and they have full responsibility of it. It is just tiring to see them cry and regret things once they reach the bottom, then blaming other people why such thing happened. Sometimes a lesson learned would be a bit expensive.
Yes, although we don't have anything to do with it and that's their own personal issue and responsibility. But sometimes we also have that feeling that we need to give them some care if they're doing the wrong thing and it's visible in our naked eyes. But you're right that if the same thing keeps on happening again and again and there's no improvement, much better to just leave it there.
1355  Economy / Economics / Re: The gloomy light called subsidy. on: July 28, 2023, 12:23:33 PM
Honestly, subsidy is truly a good benefit from the government. It is their duty to give subsidy to the most important services that their people need. Petrol is one of it because everything is being run and using petrol / oil for every move. Transportation, energy, and anything that we're using is being done with the use of petrol unless there's another source of it. Health care is also one of it, if a government isn't corrupt, there's a lot of sector where the government can provide subsidies. That's gonna ease the inflation rate that's being felt by everyone. On the other hand, it should be balanced, I also did saw some countries that have been giving subsidies to their people but still don't do good with their economy.

1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 27, 2023, 01:22:52 PM
I'm paid in another coin and it's fine.
It's fine if that coin has a lot of volume and is tradable in many exchanges. But if not, there's also the agreement that you can set with the payee if you also believe to the coin that they're about to pay you.

But I don't think people would do it massively
Yeah, it's because of that preference, and if it's a liquid coin there won't be any problem at all. But the majority prefers to have it in the form of Bitcoin because it's not just being accepted as a payment but also it's a direct asset and investment for the receiver.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Crypto vs. Traditional Gambling on: July 27, 2023, 09:41:08 AM
Since many local banks are owned by giant banks which have a presence in almost all countries of the world then I would suppose policies like not allowing a person to make a deposit to their gambling account using a credit card are pretty much everywhere, and to me it makes sense, if a bank allowed you to buy a TV on credit, at least there is a physical good which can repay part of the debt in which you incurred, while this is not true in the case you gamble and lose that money away.
My take on this is that, they're allowing to purchase digital products with the use of credit card. And that's why if a customer tries to use his CC to get his gambling account funded, they should allow it. But I do also understand that the banks don't want someone with a gambling behavior and activities spend money in credit because it might also affect their credit score and as well as their payment behavior. Sometimes, that's also understandable when they're trying to be strict with their policies since it is their money that's being spent or should I say, other depositor's money.
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto EGG Meme Run to $1 on: July 27, 2023, 07:36:44 AM
What a way to introduce your project and those signs that I've set for a red flag was there. You don't give guaranteed profits and price just because you are probably part of it or you're too optimistic about it. I mean, I get it that you think that it's going to be $1 soon but the heck a meme coin that reaches that with gazillions of supply? What meme coin did that? I don't think that there will ever be one not even Dogecoin but it was a close one for it. And how are you going to explain that quote by Husirs? You don't hire miners, miners do choose to mine your coin if it's found interesting and worth it.
1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin whale 'awakens' after 10 years. on: July 26, 2023, 11:28:42 PM
We don't know the reasons why suddenly they are waking up after all these years.
Either they just remember their stash or silently following the market.
But no matter what the reason is, it is still part of the 21M supply of bitcoin.
So we can't say, that will have a big impact in the current market value of btc.
Well, the one reason could just be simple they're trying to get rid of it and want to take the fruit of their patience. They're no different from us as they're also people that want to take profit over all these times.

The intention is that most of them have plenty of wallets and not just one, and they use the other ones and keep a few just for saving as well, and that means they are going to end up making that active when they move it around.

Plus, even though the security of bitcoin is great, it is smarter to end up changing the wallet here and there time to time because that way nobody could hack into your system, otherwise your wallet could be hacked into one way or another, specially ones that move away from legacy address to segwit address makes even more sense to me. This is why I believe that it is not always to sell, sure sometimes it could be for selling but there are many other reasons then selling and that could be the reason.
Good point, there's the possibility that it's not for selling but for those reasons that you've mentioned. But the thing here is, we will never know until we know one or someone comes all of a sudden to be one of those owners and explain what really does with those. Anyway, they've got not obligation in doing so to appear in the public.

The best time for whales to move or cash out there Bitcoin was when it was at its ATH or above 50k. Its not confirm but there are rumors that such wallets are hacked and its hacker who moved Bitcoin to some other wallets. The question is if whale has kept his Bitcoin quite for almost decade and didn't bother to move them during 2017 and 2021 bull run they why he is moving when market is relatively bearish. This question never got answer on such movements.
If it's during this time, that's still a good timeframe as the price is much higher than 2017 but not of course on 2021. These could be just woke up wallets and owners have just remembered they own it. Well, it's really confusing but will still be ending up with the same reason of dumping or just trying to move it from wallet to wallet.
