I did visit a site that was going to be offering it but the traffic was barely anything,so chances of getting a table going of open face is nil. If I run into it,I will come back and give you a link for future. Think it was a smaller site, might have been cyberdeckpoker but they are still in soft opening,so lacking players.
Seals if it works for your computer or cell phone is alright, just be aware of collusion because it was popular to scam and rip people off there. If the table instantly fills you are not in a good spot. Cheesy
123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: May 28, 2016, 09:19:54 PM
Guns should be banned forever. It should be implemented asap

Who would you trust with a gun to protect you and your family forever?  Your government?  The police?  The military?

Police can't protect you.  When seconds count the police are only minutes away.  They will get there just in time to fill out the crime scene report.
Unfortunately, I'm hearing more frequently "an hour."

They do not even show up these days but if you look at them funny they sure do turn the car around to drive by slow.
We had a kid die because a cop shot herself in the foot and the other cops thought the kid shot her and they laid him out.
Getting close to a year and they are still waiting the public out to let them know the truth.

The gun control aspect tears me down the line,as I have dealt with some true psychos raged in traffic and rather not have them armed to the teeth. But I also do not trust government and they seem to be after said guns for a reason that does not feel right to me.

I agree with people growing a thicker skin as you will come across people with views you would not see publicly addressed or endorsed any where else than the internet for the most part. The vulgar use of profanity is a statement more to the persons mental state and how they perceive the world.
Take it as a warning that any thing the person has to say is usually not of rational thinking and you should be fine.

Not saying I have achieved it either, racist propaganda still irks me to no end and I feel like I need to address it when it shows up.
But have decided to let the people be and will just watch for ill advised step on their part. But thats a off shoot, just my way of reflecting on your issue.
125  Other / Meta / Re: Moderator Report Viewing on: May 28, 2016, 04:40:42 PM
No, I mean general reports on my posts.
Allowing me to view how many of my posts have been reported.
I know that you can view statistics on posts that you delet but not your own posts that have been reported.
It may also be good, as mentioned, for some response from moderators of automated systems after reporting posts.

Now I am not sure if that is something I would want tracked, for example we have some racists that post continually and getting feedback on people reporting them would show they are getting a reaction from their propaganda.
If your posts are bad enough and get deleted you usually have a connection to why or a hunch.

Do you really want that information? It might create a bigger issue between members and mods that would be unwarranted.
Not sure if I would want that to be honest with you.

126  Other / Meta / Re: Moderator Report Viewing on: May 28, 2016, 04:22:25 PM
Not a big issue but it would be nice to have some form of feedback on reporting to see if you are doing it correctly.
The percentage does little for me if I have reported to different threads and the number changes.

When you say patterns between signatures and posting, what are you driving at with that stat?
The issue with a stat like that I think is some people that are on the fence for reporting that have a disdain for signatures, may be pushed in the direction of reporting due to the bias. Having been accused by a mod of having to think more before I post and other such slight attacks,I would think that some mods also would be working on the same bias.
So any stats collected would most likely be smeared due to agendas being driven to eliminate signatures.
Lets be honest the people without signatures rarely get accused of spam!

Would appreciate some more feedback though as I would like to report in a more functional way and not waste mods time.
Same goes for sending them personal messages on spam,I sent Hilarious one thinking that I was on to something. Only to see like 3-4 different people commenting on the guy and I imagine he got twice as many reports or messages all on one person.
So multiple that and its a lot to stream line.

Thought this whole idea of the Olympics would be on its last leg with all the talk about global warming but here it is and the show keeps pushing through no matter what the issues are it faces.
Lets spread a disease around the world by infecting our athletes,it should really be a positive thing for everyone.

Its actually close to bankrupting Countries that want to get in on the action now. Russia spent so much in hopes that it would turn into a tourist destination and then got backdoored at the last minute to draw away tourism.

The back room deals that go along with these elite parties is really hard to swallow and personally would like to see this organization cut down to size. They for one are sexist in who gets to compete in what sports.

I am currently using Firefox but will come back and update if Safari works better once I play the bankroll in 2 hours roughly.
Hopefully that fixes the issue, could be I need to upgrade on my end as well.

===============================================================================
Edit:

I tried to log Safari but it is not allowing me to configure to open up the site. I cleared cache and history and tried but no go for that server. Was going to fiddle around in proxies but will have to wait on that till I wake up more.
129  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 28, 2016, 03:42:22 PM
@Beefheart
If you are depositing a large amount, not sure where the thresh hold is for large you can face delayed times in getting it out.

Fortunejack has a limited hot wallet and they have over 200 players playing at the same time so their hot wallet cpuld be depleted sometimes. Waiting for some times wont hurt anyway and once they refill the hot wallet, your withdrawal will be sent immediately or you can always ask support's help if it is urgent

I suggest when you are talking to Twitchy you do not quote me as well, its confusing to see who you are addressing.

Why would you make such a statement about the wallet unless you are a paid shill for the site?
Making excuse for a site does not seem like a normal thing to do and telling people it could be good for them is just shocking!

As for support I am still waiting on a message I sent yesterday after live support gave me the run around.
Having me wait for generic response that did not help me out one bit. Think I will be waiting till Monday or will not get a response, which seems to be standard for my experience so far.

You have your experience and others have theirs, trying to shut people up is not helping the site or yourself.
130  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Facebook Page Touts ‘Health Benefits’ of Islamic Female Genital Mutilation on: May 28, 2016, 04:00:38 AM
The day we rid the world of religious beliefs will we be better for it or find other ways to natter on?
Religion is so engrained in the day to day its hard to pick up on innuendo for some religious folks.
Sometimes they have a evil grin like they got one past you.

The mutilation is interesting, was thinking about circumcision for men and was trying to see how religiously bound that issue was but nothing significant showed up,other than Muslims and Jews.

Its funny I did not notice he was kicked from that tourney till it was pointed out to me.
Appreciate this effort to cracking down on cheating or circumvention of the rules, a lot of the other sites offer lip service to this issue and allow the players to be cheated on.

Still having sound issues but it was suggested to me to try a different brower for the html version and will give that a shot tomorrow.

133  Other / Meta / Re: Disallow signature campaigns on: May 28, 2016, 03:46:57 AM
The change for Yobit to not allow Jr.members into the campaign did change the forum. The places I see a lot of spam are in the Marketplace. If that area no longer counted towards payment we would be able to stop accusing people of signature spam in that forum when they are trying to run a business. This would be a good change and it would also address the games and rounds posts that are really spammy.

Besides that raise all membership requirements to full member and it would cut it down that much more.
The jump from having signatures to no sigatures would be to big a jump and not totally necessary anyways.
With moving it to Full member you would see even more drop combined with the suggestions and the spammers become more obvious, due to lack of places to hide.

But this thread is really going sideways when the accusation is coming from a person that was kicked from a campaign recently.
In a short stint he opened up a scam accusation, loan request and now this garbage attack because he is emotionally hurt by being rejected.
If people really want to acknowledge the issue of spammers,we have a whole lot in meta that are legit vs. this one based out of anger.

Just a thought..

Bayer’s Acquisition Offer Could Literally Make Monsanto Disappear

I am fascinated by Monsanto and thought for a long time that they would be a continued scourge on the world.
Starting to look like they could actually get reigned in and face the music for all the grossness they have spread on this earth.
Will not hold my breath but starting to think that some of these powers I never would see fall, could actually taste their own demise.

Mark Zuckerberg is ‘dictator’ of Facebook ‘nation’: The Pirate Bay founder

Quote

Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg is the "dictator" of "the biggest nation in the world", the co-founder of file sharing site The Pirate Bay, told CNBC on Friday, as he denounced the centralization of power on the internet.

Speaking during an interview at The Next Web conference in Amsterdam, Peter Sunde said that there is "no democracy" online.

"People in the tech industry have a lot of responsibilities but they never really discuss these things ... Facebook is the biggest nation in the world and we have a dictator, if you look at it from a democracy standpoint, Mark Zuckerberg is a dictator. I did not elect him. He sets the rules," Sunde told CNBC.

"And really you can't opt out of Facebook. I'm not on Facebook but there are a lot of drawbacks in my offline world. No party invitations, no updates from my friends, people stop talking to you, because you're not on Facebook. So it has real life implications."

Facebook declined to comment when contacted by CNBC. The social network has 1.6 billion users on its platform.

Sunde is a left-winger best known for co-founding The Pirate Bay, the notorious file sharing site which landed him in jail in 2014 for which he served a five month sentence. His other co-founders were all found guilty of copyright infringements.

To demonstrate his point, Sunde cited the example of when German Chancellor Angela Merkel was overheard at a United Nations meeting confronting Zuckerberg about anti-immigration posts on Facebook.

"That's kind of what it comes to. We send major leaders of Europe to ask him to stop interfering with our local culture. How did we end up in a situation like this?," Sunde said.

"If politicians were a little bit more hard-core and actually believe in this they would be able to fix it. If we say Facebook doesn't agree with our rules in our country we are going to stop Facebook in our country. We censor a lot of things, why not censor Facebook?," he added.

Sunde also decried the technology world's lack of perspective. He denounced Facebook's policy requiring people to use their real name, as in some countries, this can get people persecuted and makes it hard to organize political movements.

"Mark Zuckerberg is a rich white dude from a really privileged background," Sunde said, explaining why he thinks the Facebook boss doesn't understand cultural differences.

"The reason for the real name policy is Mark Zuckerberg wants to make another dollar."
This firm may have just killed the hype surrounding blockchain

Still, Facebook has been working to reassure its users about privacy. It released a new privacy policy last year that made it easier for people to decide which posts are public or private. And WhatsApp, which Facebook owns, recently introduced full encryption.

Zuckerberg has also shared his own thoughts on privacy. In Apple's recent tussle with the FBI over unlocking an iPhone that belonged to one of the San Bernardino shooters, Zuckerberg said he is "sympathetic" to Apple. The iPhone maker refused to help authorities unlock the phone.

Facebook is also working on ways to let users customize what they see in the app, giving them ultimately more control.

It is amazing how staying off facebook does cost you in a few aspects,I am sure that employers look and wonder why this guy is not to be found online, what is he hiding!
Or I have some family members I never met in real life that started to contact me but wanted me to join facebook.
I refused and the emails thinned out, which is to bad but they where the young ones in the family that never met me.
The dynamice that facebook is creating online does not matter if they think they have our best interests anymore, they are going to start stepping on people for the greater good.

137  Other / Politics & Society / AI? More Like Aieeee!! For The First Time, A Robot Can Feel Pain on: May 27, 2016, 11:04:22 PM

Researchers are developing a system to teach robots how to feel pain.
Quote

That might seem counterintuitive, as IEEE Spectrum points out. After all, "One of the most useful things about robots is that they don't feel pain." That means "we have no problem putting them to work in dangerous environments or having them perform task that range between slightly unpleasant and definitely fatal to a human."

But the researchers from Leibniz University of Hanover argue that the "artificial robot nervous system" actually makes the robots safer. They say humans working alongside them — using heavy machinery, for example — will also likely be safer. Here's more from IEEE Spectrum:

"Why is it a good idea for robots to feel pain? The same reason why it's a good idea for humans to feel pain, said Johannes Kuehn, one of the researchers. 'Pain is a system that protects us,' he told us. 'When we evade from the source of pain, it helps us not get hurt.'"

As the journal notes, the phenomenon is clear in individuals with congenital analgesia, the genetic disorder where individuals don't feel pain. This first-person story from the BBC describes just how difficult it is to prevent injuries when you don't know something is hurting you.

Kuehn and his colleague Sami Haddadin presented their research at the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation last week in Stockholm, Sweden. Here's a video demonstrating their prototype, inspired by human skin, which is equipped to sense both pressure and temperature:
YouTube

The machine appears to wince and reflexively moves away when hit with light, moderate and severe pain, as well as the heat of a cup of boiling water – all while wearing a jaunty yellow rubber duckie.

As The Washington Post explains, "Depending on the threat, such as a harsh movement or intense heat, the robot is programmed to retract from the danger." It adds: "The more dangerous it registers the threat to be, the faster the robot will retract and the longer it will avoid the hazardous force."

As IEEE Spectrum notes, researchers from Stanford and University of Rome-La Sapienza have already built a bot that avoids collision with humans. But this research inspired by the way humans react to pain goes a step further, as the Post notes:

"[T]o equip these robots with a nervous system forces them to prioritize avoidance of their own pain, thus programming them to avoid destroying themselves as well as avoiding collision with humans, according to Keuhn. This will trigger different reactions in the robot than just crash avoidance."

Thought the whole beauty of a robot was they do not feel pain?
Now they will be whining and crying like the rest of us,what a headache.

I tried to get a answer about the tourney schedule and a sng I liked playing that was no longer offered.
Was told what I see is what is available,I got the impression the chat support could not see what I was referring to
and the follow up was that your provider establishes the schedule.
Is there any way I can find out who the provider is,so I can plan a week in advance?

Also, when I was multi tabling I ran into a issue where I close the lobby for that tourney I would get a freeze on all tables for roughly 30 seconds. This happened every time with out fail and when I got to 5 tables it was timing out a lot and then no issue for a bit and then freeze.
Still having issues with leaving poker and having to log back in for dice. It will repeatedly tell me my password is wrong till I close the window and open a new one.

140  Other / Meta / Re: General Topic of Trust on: May 27, 2016, 08:25:54 PM
This is just one aspect of trust that is faulty due to trolls. You can see I have a troll negative but it does not effect my trust.
But say you get in the way of a Hero account having a "I want my Mommy" moment your account would be screwed.

You either live with it or you try to sort it out, which opens you up to paying a ransom of some kind. Its really quite a stupid system because it was only meant for actual business transactions and now it covers not liking a persons signature.
