301  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Scientists Hold Secret Meeting to Consider Creating a Synthetic Human Genome on: May 17, 2016, 01:37:45 AM
The real fun is finding a cure for dementia in the genome but having it trigger other side effects in different people.
Read a article where Drug companies are already lining up to work side by side.

Where do aliens fall in aspects to the bible BADecker?
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::;;::;::::::::::

You imagine all the aspects we would have to re-open once aliens come on the scene. They better be sexy!
303  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are Venezuelan not switching to Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2016, 11:44:04 PM
Did not even think about looking into real estate, nice way to kill some time online.
It seems to be a catch 22 for most of these economically challenged areas. If we could brainstorm a way to get Countries like this interested it coul reflect well for us all.
Atms to costly but some kind of service around the cell phone.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Philosophy on: May 16, 2016, 11:32:36 PM
Used to presume foolishly that most people where drawn to bitcoin for the same reason as myself.
Being that we could potentially grow outside the current system and not be forced into regulation or submitting to the banks.
This seems to have given way to people that will do anything to bitcoin that excels the price and are coming from it in a investment aspect.
So are there less people today than the start of bitcoin that where more anti government or the percentages the same today as then?

Was going to add a poll but rather let the posts speak for the issue.

Lets discuss this...
305  Other / Meta / Re: Reply to deleted Posts? on: May 16, 2016, 08:45:05 PM
It was a combo of issues for me due to the fact I stated my opinion and for that get added to the next guys ignore list as a flip of the bird in my direction.
So when they deleted the responses I felt that it was done to rub my face in it and prove his point for having me on the list.

The signature aspect is interesting though because I suffer from being a carrier of the disease. Cheesy
Its gotten pretty bad in the forum for people entering a thread, taking a swipe at you and responding for them to leave you one of these comments:

Quote
Yeah im sure it is, taking into account that you're being paid to post non constructive texts, i'd rather not prolong this convo. Next time if you want to make a proper reply, at-least review the entire OP first. Cheers.

This is my most recent run in due to not clicking on the OPs links to the allegation but stating it would help to show he contacted support by posting their reply.
I left the response to the OP vague on purpose because there was a increase in allegations against this site and all very similar in writing style from different accounts.
So its a double standard when some people are able to post 1-3 word responses and I need to find a creative way to stretch out my responses or fear the attacks from random sig haters.
The response I quote also closes discussion because it looks like I am after a payment in responding and it validates their point,I can not win against that type of thinking and its supported here, even though the site allows signatures.
But to be clear I plan to drop out of the signature soon as I had my eyes opened when there was a thread on signature spammers and I left a note in the campaign thread for people to come in and tell them they where off. No one came through out of the whole signature, which shocked me but pissed me off that they took their signature for granted and where willing to let people spit on them and prove the issue is bad.
So I get the issue, just think its wrong for people to use it as a excuse to high tail out of a argument when they are cornered.
End of that rant..

Back on topic I mentioned something about signatures being run by people that where not mods and it was treated like I had no brain because I wanted to control the optics of the situation.
But here we all are wondering why or maybe not all of us,that this thread was altered and most of it looks to be optic related. Think its extremely important to watch out for these hazards.
It does not trouble established accounts but it does reflect on newbies or those with opposing views to the rest of the herd.

306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Former Facebook Workers: We Routinely Suppressed Conservative News on: May 16, 2016, 08:17:55 PM
Huh?

Im pretty sure that all moglie is saying that this shit is nothing new and to get surprised about except you are living in a fantasy world devoid of something called reality.
And he is also correct that capitalism is supporting exactly this kind of companies.

And im sorry to pop your dreams but pretty much all companies in the s&p500 are doing this.

I bolded the one aspect of what you said making any sense, the latter part of the first sentence relates to what?
Its not news to me or others that visit here that the top companies are nefarious in their natural state,so no bubble needs to be popped.
We can all take a deep breath and get back on topic of companies need for censorship and dictating the out look of the news.

Some of these companies have infiltrated so many aspects of our lives that it is no longer possible to get around them with out some pains.
So imagine what the future is going to look like when they are even more in our homes and transportation! You may be open to the idea because you feel this is a attack on capitalism but I disagree.
307  Other / Meta / Re: Reply to deleted Posts? on: May 16, 2016, 04:57:43 PM
Not saying its bad I got the gist of what was wrong and it could be two issues, but those involved in thread have responded with similar aspects,so it confirms that the mod was just following the new guidelines the OP set out in the thread after we responded.

But I would like a answer to the bolded part of the issue.
From the horses mouth so to speak.

Thanks for replying Luptin and The Pharmacist  it help narrow down the issue.
308  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Former Facebook Workers: We Routinely Suppressed Conservative News on: May 16, 2016, 04:49:08 PM
And so ?

Facebook is a private company. As all private companies they ve got their own point of view ont the world and they'll try to impose it to you. Why people fighting for a free capitalistic society are even surprised by the fact that companies don't give a fuck about truth or objectivity?

So you think people are alright with being mislead? Think most people would seek out a alternative knowing they where being paraded around by the bit. There does seem to be a lot of members lately with your style of thinking and it saddens me to know that their is a mindset like yours that thinks everything is fine with companies dictating reality.

309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever caught yourself thinking Bitcoin is AMAZING? on: May 16, 2016, 04:27:20 PM
I think about the possibilities but I do not catch myself in say a dreamy state thinking about bitcoin.
Much prefer to sing "Im a barbie girl" over and over in my head!

We still have so many fields that can be addressed with bitcoin that I can see the awe factor taking effect for most of us.
The regulation aspect bothers me to no end though and not sure how to get around that.
310  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcoins Talk Trust Issue on: May 16, 2016, 04:23:44 PM
Just be you and let that speak for its self,if you try to hard to achieve trust the opposite is most likely going to happen.
Or you get it and have people that do not trust you because they think you gained it the easy way.

That said I think being a person that adds to the forum in a outstanding way like the three people I chose to give postive trust to.
Those three people leave amazing detailed threads to help the forum and for that I think they should be held as examples of how to do it.
311  Other / Meta / Reply to deleted Posts? on: May 16, 2016, 03:55:45 PM
Woke up to two deleted posts and was at first taken back and felt like it was due to being a signature wearer that I was not getting the benefit of the doubt or floor to address a issue that used me as a example.

So in case people want evidence, which I find they usually do:

Posting of ignore lists is a way for those people to stroke their self worth in showing you who they consider to be a member of lesser standing.
Its best to make your own mind up on these things or you will be swayed by every little topic that is being pushed in the forums.
Spammers come and go,so any list will be impartial and need updating frequently.
Within 2 months of being active here you should have pretty good grasp on who repeatedly comes to whos aid in a sock puppet fashion, the racists, the shills and so on. Its not rocket science and every one has a different level of tolerance for bullshit.

Rebuttal -

Nice. See how he just made my point?
Added me most likely just before posting as a rub but who wants to talk to people that carry this bias about signatures. If they got a hard on for painting every one with a signature, then they most likely are not rational person.
Way I look it is you can learn a thing or two from every one. Those that are coming at things in a opposing view can show you a foreign mindset, teach you tolerance or even sway your opinion.

You will learn that some people are never happy.
First its signature posters post three word replies and now its that they also post to much. Being on or off topic all depends on perception and having a signature taints the way many look at you.

But then I noticed OP had changed the initial thread after I had made my posts to include:

Quote
Notice : Please don't post if you don't have a list to share to keep the thread organized, thanks a lot!

I would not have posted otherwise and just wanted to let the mods know this in case this is used as some kind of file against me in the future. Not sure if that is how it works but I did wonder this....

Can you reply back to the mod that deleted the thread?
Is this frowned on,I am presuming yes but would like clarification for the future.
Do not want to over load the mods either,so do not plan to use the option much at all.

p.s I would understand if the thread was also seen as trollish,so I get it! Cheesy
312  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns !! on: May 16, 2016, 03:36:10 PM
Signatures have improved with the new limitations but I notice that this is not good enough for those that feel it their duty to address signature members as less than for all kinds of issues other than spam.
As long as the forum allows signatures any discord towards signatures should be directed to meta or here in services, otherwise its harassment.
If you are looking to join a signature and you are still Jr. for the most part its not going to reflect well on you when you run into people that frown on sigs, its best to learn the forum and add a signature once your feet are wet a bit.
313  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin betting or sportsbook site with an iOS app? on: May 16, 2016, 02:33:10 PM
Either way these sites are better off putting the app on their website so they are not dealing with the constant rule changes that would have the app up one minute and down the next.
Is it that hard to create such a app?
Could run a app and not even need a website if its easy to apply lines and bitcoin movement.
314  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM cloudbet WARNING on: May 16, 2016, 01:37:32 PM

Your signature bias is showing.Smiley

Yeah im sure it is, taking into account that you're being paid to post non constructive texts, i'd rather not prolong this convo. Next time if you want to make a proper reply, at-least review the entire OP first. Cheers.

We are dealing with a accusation and I asked for clear documentation that he had contacted support before posting here. If I clicked on the links or not thats really beside the point as you will never know the truth. Find its best to be vague when dealing with these type of issues.
There has been a up tick in accusations against cloudbet like you state but I do not think they are all legit and this is coming from some one that does not use their service any longer.
The signature aspect is a sideshow because the forum allows them. So railing against random people will not prove anything and most likely make you come off as a dictator.
If people are going to constantly attack members for having signatures we should also be addressing non signature spammers as well. Mods should also get off the fence and tell people to cut out these attacks on signatures as the forum allows it!

315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 16, 2016, 02:59:26 AM
Sorry. Looks like I was not clear as I did lose close to a 100k bet about eight years ago. I was in a position financially at the time where I had to really watch how I moved my money. Vague but I rather not explain the details.
Have a house now and I referenced the condo as a way to explain how much I bet, sorry for the confusion.

Google faces record 3 billion euro EU antitrust fine: Telegraph

When/if the public pushes back there will be a steep drop off for google, facebook and Yahoo.
Think there is room for a alternative that does not datamine, stalk and manipulate data.
317  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to receive an anonymous package? on: May 16, 2016, 01:18:22 AM
Have been curious how people did this as well when the silkroad was a big new thing.
Watched a mailman the other day and he seemed to now the two houses that no one was living in as he skipped them but dumped junkmail in everyone else. Always thought I could get mail delivered to a neighbor when they where away, bought as far as I figured anything like this out.
What do fellow Canadians do here?
Could search but not sure how reliable the sources would be.

Have not received a email either, think someone spotted you in chat or here maybe and is sniffing around for a weak way in.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 16, 2016, 12:01:32 AM
Have been a gambler for a well now and have been up significant amount to buy a apartment. After losing it on a wager I found the thrill of gambling to never match that one time and I think I know myself better to not chase the dragon.
Most likely just settle in life and enjoy the money.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The AsicBoost 'dilemma' on: May 15, 2016, 11:54:11 PM
May seem like a double standard but the fact he is creating a aspect that could change bitcoin and at the same time limit who has access. So attempting to create a monoply, that is against bitcoin in my opinion and it strips away the mask of double standard.
