The Newest Selfie Hot Spot: Giving the Finger to Trump Tower
http://www.wired.com/2016/05/newest-selfie-hot-spot-giving-finger-trump-tower/

Its come to this now as we fester in our own waste people will most likely be taking selfies to show their discontent with the reality they live in.

Instead of making us smarter it might prove fruitful to make us dumber.
Imagine the amazing things they will discover fiddling around with the genomes, its really going to become "Watch who you mess with"!

What is the best tablet to use to multi table on this site?
Leaning towards Ipad but want to make sure most poker platforms are usable from the site.
Thanks for the tips.
344  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestions For Forum on: May 14, 2016, 05:12:14 PM
The first topic was addressed last week by a member that was looking for work and found the threads where getting bumped to the next page repeatedly by signature threads. I agree a sub forum would really help clean that section up.

The gambling forum is a lot like the investor based sub forum, not that I spend much time in the investor forum.
We have a lot of members that post plays/picks in hopes to establish a following and either go pay for play or get kick back in affiliate payments.
It does seem a bit spammy at times and the few threads I visit I usually look for the feature I replied to this thread and do not pay other threads much interest. Not sure how to address that one though.

SMS in 2016? Why?
Because i have money on phone.

I have too. So what? Nobody use SMS from my contacts anymore. Messengers, social networks. Who needs SMS?

Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger and Telegram is better, SMS is dead lol.
The first two examples track your communications, not to sure about telegram.

You most likely live in a City or come from a Country that has great internet access to communicate in other aspects.
Its still very current in many places around the world,it will hopefully change but it is still relevant int todays world.
346  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can I trust Blockchain.info wallet? on: May 14, 2016, 04:59:32 PM
People have addressed the trust factor for the most part, the new wallet adds a wrinkle at the moment as it gets ironed out.
Personally holding off for a bit till they get the bugs meshed.
One thing that relates to trust is it does go down from time to time and I have needed coin from my wallet and can not access it till they fix the glitch. It usually does not last a long time but if you are using it for a purchase in the real world I would put the same amount in another wallet so you have a back up plan if the blockchain is down. I always do this and its served me well two times now.
347  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to make money on bitcointalk without campaigns on: May 14, 2016, 04:56:05 PM
The old saying it takes money to make money should be what comes to mind when you are looking for legit ways to make money here.
Hopefully you do not join another campaign till you address the posting quality. Really not that many options if you are not English speaking on this site, would look for something in your native tongue for better aspects of money making.

348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned on Blacklist on: May 14, 2016, 04:50:59 PM
Lot of these shows lately push the hacker narrative that these guys can get into a system and manipulate with in seconds and they usually want bitcoin in return. Bloody disturbed bitcoin hackers! Cheesy
Lot of the time they mention bitcoin but never get into what it is or misuse it well pushing a negative narrartive.

Either way good to see it mentioned.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The war in Bitcoin community on: May 14, 2016, 04:47:55 PM
The nature of bitcoin as we adjust to having different views on where we all see bitcoin going and jockey for positioning in pushing our views to the masses. I bang my head constantly as I see no need for regulation and many here want that to profit off and make bitcoin more mainstream.
Not against the latter view just do not think bitcoin needs to submit to government pressures and that is where I splinter off from most here.
350  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What websites do you visit to check the price of Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2016, 04:44:53 PM
Strictly out of habit I go to coinbase as it is also a great spot to find the latest news that I would not come across in other areas, unless I look in the press sub forum.
Used to use btc-e for a quick gauge of the price but no longer as they track in American dollars and there is a significant difference with the Canadian dollar right now.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: May 14, 2016, 04:42:47 PM
Not right now but I would like to establish some aspect that would bring profit well learning about online business.
Running a website would be a first step that offers a unique but small help to bitcoin,if I can find that niche.

Something tells me I would be aweful trader as I would get impatient seeing coins just sitting there waiting to be sold or bought.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Something new SMS from BTC on: May 14, 2016, 04:18:44 PM
Do not see how a member here could do this, most sites that offer this are scams that I have run into.
Let me know if you find a service that is legit that offers bitcoin for credits as I have a phone I no longer use with quite a bit of money on it that I would not mind transferring out.

This site used to offer a service like this but the fees where insane and I think the owner pulled the plug once Sealswithclubs got raided:

This site:  Grin Grin Grin Grin

http://sms.btc-sm.com/

Quote
Using this service you can buy around 5000 Satoshi ( 0.00005 BTC ) via sms. The price contain current BTC exchange rate and mobile operator fee. This fee is high, so the price for 0.00005 BTC will be about $3

353  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 3 BTC BONUS on: May 14, 2016, 04:06:22 PM
Received a odd warning that involved my bonus that I will never clear as I thought it included dice and it stated that I would lose my bonus if I played a hand of poker. Why would that limitation be in place,is it to get me to clear the bonus quickly or some other reason I am missing?

Would like a dice promotion as I mainly use this site for dice and eventually more poker as I build my roll, but I tend to donk it off in dice.
354  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boy claims to be from mars and says all human live eternally on: May 13, 2016, 10:17:06 PM
I say we let the poor Martian boy be and get started on making seperate bathrooms for him to go to with out being judged.
Lot of stories like this are from the parents like the child prodigy painter who turns out to be the parent.
355  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: May 13, 2016, 09:54:42 PM
Not against progress, just do not look forward to seeing so many people out of work. It will change society for the worse having so many frustrated people trying to survive.
Guaranteed income would help a little but waffle on that being the best solution we can think of.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: General Panama Papers Discussion on: May 13, 2016, 09:50:43 PM
what a problem with panama paper, I think there is no problem with people enrolled in panama paper because it's not a crime.

Two opposing thoughts you got going there.
These papers point to corruption around the world, its not the legality of having a offshore tax haven, its where the money came from that a lot of these people hid for various reasons.
357  Economy / Goods / Re: I want to auction George Zimmermans Keltech... any ideas on how to contact him? on: May 13, 2016, 09:44:12 PM
Can you link where the legal fees are confirmed, I am seeing numbers all over the map and excuses like he treated the fund like a personal bank, koch industries paid and other off the cuff fud.

@Btcjoe
Its not emotional to disagree over decency, you may not care how it reflects on you or bitcoin which is fine. OP asked how it reflected on bitcoin community and I feel like I have a voice being part of it.
Have said all I want to say, personally suprised there are people like this but thats life.

Will bow out because the responses are not something I want to give anymore of a platform.

359  Other / Politics & Society / Re: McDonald’s Is Days From Opening Restaurant Run Entirely By Robots on: May 13, 2016, 05:37:39 PM
I think the funniest aspect but really sad is how people bash unions for being lazy and out of date and here we have the lower wage field being kicked to the curb because it will increase profit. It will go from fast food to every big box store and then office workers.
Was looking at a article about welding being done all by robot and our current government pushed a ton of kids into the field because they where promised 25-30 years of work and most likely retire in the trade. Well the jobs never came through and we have a bunch of kids that where never working side by side with a qualified tradesperson but flew through the schooling.
So enter the robot and they are looking at being unemployed in the next 10-15 years as the field dries up.

This will happen every where as we move towards profit margins being the main driver instead of a work force.
360  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: May 13, 2016, 05:32:02 PM
Such a sad state of affairs for this site, really do not understand why they did not address the web based platform out the jump instead of dying slowly from people not being able to play on this site. Now that so many sites are established it may be to late to turn the ship around and get people interested in SWC once again. Cry
