181  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: It's Wallet Time Boys and Girls! (Free 0.001 BTC to the first 5) on: May 22, 2016, 06:10:58 AM
Believe the last guy that did this type of give away, was just working the membership for trust and a bigger scam.
Let me go look and see if I can find it...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1360268.0

Found it..WOot!

Think a member before that as well but not sure, its a common way to establish ones self in the community quickly.
182  Other / Meta / Re: Extreme RACIST not banned ??? on: May 22, 2016, 06:04:11 AM
He can say what he want. If you start to censor everything which is not leftist, we're back in the Soviet Union. Is that what you want ?

People deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, when you choose to attack a person based on the color of their skin or origin you are not some of one that deserves a leg to stand on.
You are talking to some one that is all about protecting our right to be anonymous but at the same time I have a limit.
If I replaced racist with child porn enthusiast you would not be standing to this line of thinking.
Respect people and you can have all the privacy you need, treat people like garbage and you should not have the same protections.
Its not leftist thinking to be anti racism, its common sense!
183  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-05-21] Bitcoin’s Price Tanks as Coinbase Pivots and Users Complain on: May 22, 2016, 05:49:23 AM
Signed up for Coinbase but when I started reading the requirements I thought they missed the mark.
Seems to be something they do a lot of the time in a bit of a clunky way. Agree about Ripple also saw them the same way when they where created.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is doing something on Bitcoin Pizza Day? May 22nd, 2016 on: May 22, 2016, 05:45:23 AM
We should write letters to the regional managers of pizza parlours like dominoes and encourage them to run a promotion for bitcoin next year. Might be good advertising for them and bitcoin just making news stories spin off it.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: if paypal will close on: May 22, 2016, 05:36:57 AM
Paypal as stated is going no where they bought Modest last year that gives them entrance into the mobile payment platform and would expect them to keep addressing their needs as a stand alone from ebay.
The fight for mobile banking like googlepay, applepay and whatever other swipe and pay with your phone is going to be a dog fight.
We will do well as they fight but when the winner shows up you can expect fees to increase and stab us through the eye.
A lot of the current deals apple is signing have rates to go up after a few years of use, which will trickle all the way down to the customer.
But thats still a ways out and bitcoin will most likely not benefit from any aspects of that,it may even retract.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK Banks Refused 6 Million Citizens Accounts, Bitcoin Doesn’t Refuse Anyone on: May 22, 2016, 04:56:49 AM
Denial of service is not that big a issue here but a troubling trend is closure of accounts due to online transactions.

Quote
Your rights

Under Canadian law, you have the right to open a personal bank account. You can open an account even if:

    you don’t have a job
you don’t have money to put in the account right away
    you have been bankrupt.

Exceptions: The bank can refuse to open an account for you if they suspect you have committed a crime related to any bank, if you harass or threaten a bank employee, or if you show false identification.

I opened a new bank account to run my business and online aspects from away from my other interests connected to the bank. They made a big deal out of needing to know where I worked,I gave them a contact and they contacted me two times to get me to update the information. I finally just stopped returning their calls and it became a dead issue, but they tried.

The part about lower income workers is a real problem because a lot of the services these people need are not offered at the bank because they feel it is beneath them or to costly to supply the services like loans under $500 for example.

Also getting pissed at having security guards telling me to remove my sunglasses when I go in to deposit some money.
Makes me almost contemplate robbing them in spite! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 22, 2016, 04:39:22 AM
I saw floppy disks and was thinking back to how they used to get damaged from to much sunlight and had to be kept in their envelops. Damn that was a long time ago, crazy how times have changed.
Have seen a lot of discussion and no real solid way to really protect yourself long term, seems like there is a business idea some where here to be hatched for protecting data in general.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Considers Regulating Bitcoin as Currency on: May 22, 2016, 04:31:16 AM
G7 promises aggressive action on 'financing terrorism'

Talks in Japan focus on "terror-funding" and tax evasion, but finance ministers disagree on how to boost global growth.

Quote
'The Group of Seven major economies has pledged aggressive action in the fight against "financing terrorism and extremism".

Would it be a reach to think they addressed bitcoin with their thinking of raising taxes in the current global downturn?
Think we are heading more toward having bitcoin submit so it is not a issue when rates are increased to pinch the common folk tighter.
Just not buying Japan is on board with bitcoin being free and open source as we may think they are.
History does not point that way at all.
189  Economy / Reputation / Re: Gianluca95 is spamming on: May 22, 2016, 04:16:58 AM
As I stated already and showed in the link the discussion has been had,any farther accusations are for what benefit?
Till he comes back we really do not know the extent of the fall out and its not shallow reasoning to state such.

If you had something to go on that was a extension of the issue,by all means lets read it.
Was just stating my issue with it,not trying to close discussion.
190  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thanks playbitstarz.com on: May 22, 2016, 04:03:29 AM

I played for a week now everyday, I have deposited .2 and ever single time i doubled it in minutes, But yes this one was pure luck, I can screenshot the depo/whitdraw history

Combining the original post with this statement you are sounding like a shill.
Gave you the benefit of the doubt but stating that you win every time within minutes is just doing fellow gamblers that may think they can emulate the results a disservice.

Never understood the need to brag about wins but they say the ego is one of the reasons addicted gamblers have such a hard time quitting. Not saying you are but its a good thing to tread lightly when you win and like wise when you lose.
Then you will not have people bitching at you either way and I would not be throwing a shill accusation your way.
191  Economy / Reputation / Re: Gianluca95 is spamming on: May 22, 2016, 03:47:58 AM
It totally matters.  If you're going to accuse someone of something, I want to know who's accusing.   And so does the accused.  Especially in silly bullshit like this.

How does that matter, mate ? Don't you think the point being made has more weight rather than the person behind it ? Anonymity is much appreciated on the internet.

So you support the OP creating this thread well the person is banned and unable to speak for his side of the issue?

Anon is something most of us like about bitcoin but the part you miss is he accusing a member of wrong. Its either legit or a smear campaign and if its the latter he could do it over and over with no problems. Say he includes the OPs personal information are we still holding to the anon factor. Seems to be a double standard and in the real world you get to face your accuser. There is a reason for this.
What?
Didnt get any of that sorry

The person that this thread is about is currently banned for spam. Therefore the point I am making is its a real cowardly thing to hide behind a new account and use his ban against him, knowing he can not represent himself.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1476813.0

The above is the thread where he is told not to push it and this thread showed up not long after that.

So my point was about cowards hiding behind a new account and expecting judgement, when they can not show the decency of unmasking themselves in a way that would reflect on their trust.
End of the day this is a smear thread as the issue has already been addressed and the accused will learn from it or he wont. Judging them now is pointless and not giving them the chance to right their actions.
The anon aspect was in reference to the reasoning KenR was giving about that overriding the point.

@ YPII
Think I made that post on my cell and that is the reason I ended every thing with a period.
Hope that clears the issue up for you.

“To know your Enemy, you must become your Enemy.”
― Sun Tzu

I already know what names will flock to this thread in echoing fashion and it will be to drive you back from where you came.
Its a futile fight,go look at past threads on the topic and you will see this is not just members driving this agenda.
So if you can not talk sense in to them, you do the next best thing in encouraging them. Eventually it achieves the same goal in eliminating the trust system.

Or at least adjusting it so that it is not manipulated by those that have it.

Good luck

As much as I dislike Greenpeace I am grateful for this data and will read it tomorrow when I have some patience.
Imagine I will not be able to find the glaring issues either way due to the jargon.
Will attempt a slog through and search where I get lost, think these agreements are just to important to ignore.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Made the mistake of tweeting this and giving props to greenpeace for doing so. I am now followed by 12 green organizations and I think that number will increase over night. Wonder how long it will take to lose them? Cheesy

Taliban denies leader killed in US drone strike
Taliban's Akhtar Mansoor and another fighter were targeted by a US drone strike in remote area of Pakistan.

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/05/taliban-leader-killed-drone-strike-160521204020111.html

Quote
"We are still assessing the results of the strike and will provide more information as it becomes available," Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said on Saturday in a statement, which did not address Mansoor's condition.

Getting closer to confirmation, you would think the Taliban getting on the lines and finding out if this is true or not does not help them for target locations. Smiley
195  Other / Politics & Society / Monitor: 60,000 dead in Syria government jails on: May 21, 2016, 08:52:00 PM
Most dead as a result of torture or poor humanitarian conditions, says Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Quote
More than 60,000 people have been killed through torture or died in dire humanitarian conditions inside Syrian government prisons throughout the country's five-year uprising, according to a monitor.

The numbers were obtained from Syrian government sources, the United Kingdom-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Saturday.
Syrian torture victim speaks to Al Jazeera

"Since March 2011, at least 60,000 people lost their lives to torture or to horrible conditions, notably the lack of medication or food, in regime prisons," said the Observatory's Rami Abdel Rahman.

These dictatorships are what happens when people are seen as numbers or a tool to abuse and keep under ones thumb. We really need to get a handle on Syria before more lives are lost in a senseless war.

suggestion... the freerolls start with numerous folks sitting out... any way if that's the case they are removed after 5 minutes of no activity?...

I also think players "enterasuper" and "guramina27" are the same person/account

Concur. I sent Cyber a pm on these two having very similar issues every tourney.
They sit late within seconds of each other or they both sit out at the start and instantly sit in together.
This last tourney he sat in and got stacked on one account and has not sat in with the other account yet.
The usual play by them is to try and get lucky with any two cards on one account and then attempt the same with the other once one is doubled.
Not the only player that seems to use this technique either watching another pair that regs late as well.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also have no volume on the html version, have clicked it on and off in options. Stood up and left to lobby and come back to no avail.
198  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk run by jews? on: May 21, 2016, 04:22:15 PM

Oh come on, yall take it so personaly, id love to be a jew.
Zero fucks given about jurisdictions, as long as i know a jew is a dude that has a lot of clams and luvs da market.

Where are you going with these comments?

Some people here care about things like this because they have studied history and know the power of words.
It may seem like something to joke about for you but as you get older you may come around.
The only thing thats a joke is that you are taking it seriously.

You realize that joking about a issue like this means you condone such actions right?
Do yourself a favor and search this guy more than one page and you will get the picture.
Instead of trolling people, maybe you can be part of the solution, instead of supporting it.

Microsoft to crack down on content promoting extremist acts
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-microsoft-terrorism-idUSKCN0YC00X

Quote
With the world growing more concerned about attacks by militant groups on civilians, Microsoft Corp on Friday outlined new policies to crack down what it called "terrorist content" on some of its consumer services.

Thought this goes hand in hand with the issue of spying even if it is for a greater good.
It does not explain at all how they data mine information to achieve this goal besides stating hopefully users will report such issues. Think it will go a lot farther than that and most likely change little in the fight against these radical users but a step closer to more invasive procedures into our browsing and activities.
200  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 3 BTC BONUS on: May 21, 2016, 04:00:28 PM
Wagered in dice game won't included? If I 35x wagered in dice game, bonus money won't be withdraw?

It is crystal clear already , wagering in dice wont be included therefore you are not getting any wagered amount no matter if you wagered 1000 times of the value. The reason would probably be because you can use auto in dice therefore there isnt any point of giving bonus for that since you wont be really "enjoying" any of the game when you are botting

This may be the case on the web version but on the mobile there is a simpler version where you do not have all the bells and whistles, which I actually prefer to the web version. In most peoples eyes they would think dice was included in the way they defined the rules but its not and we/most of us have adjusted due to that.
================================================================

Something I am having trouble with is the Cash tables and the levels seem to have high blind amounts.
When I look at the tables no one is near sitting with what would be the proper amount for that level.
So why not create normal blind levels instead of the current set up?
Just found the headsup tables and like that I can play those for the cheap. Might just hang out there till I have a decent roll, may I suggest shorter stacks and quicker blinds as well. 1500 is a bit of a drag for a small amount,or at least create a option of being able to play 500 stack with 5 minute blinds or shorter. Just a suggestion.
