541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is shutting down forums on: April 28, 2016, 06:12:40 PM
The fud from altcoins always seem so much more intense, must be due to the short life cycle compared to bitcoin.
Think any cutting of forums should alarm people that may be overly invested at this point.
542  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SNOWDEN - Official Trailer on: April 28, 2016, 06:02:27 PM
Thought you where joking about Cage being in this movie! Shocked
Guy literally cranks out 10-20 movies a year that no one ever sees in the theaters.

Just glancing at this movie trailer it looks like there are a few misleading aspects that may distort
him for what he represents. Will be interesting to see if there is backlash against this movie in any form.
543  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Islamic Fanatic Nazis - Yes, I mean Islamic religious believers. on: April 28, 2016, 05:59:00 PM
Islam means peace, followers of Islam are called Muslims, they think of him only to worship Allah alone Maker of world,  All muslim pray only Allah he Prophet Muhammad (Sa). They are there because of the Muslim faith.

Would like to hear from a Muslim that has actually been here for a well, all the Muslim accounts I see usually responding are new or Jr. members, its hard to address the issue when it seems like a sudden wave of Muslims with no connection to bitcoin till recently.

The one aspect I do see repeating is Muslims that address the issue echoing parts of the Koran but showing little intellectual substance of their own. Is group thought encouraged, thought being a Muslim was to develop the intellect but I am seeing little weight to any rebuttals from this religion here.
544  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay marriage will destabilise family life on: April 28, 2016, 05:55:29 PM
It's true, gay marriage is bad for population and also it's forces others children live with unnormal people, i am about orientation. So i really want that no homo will win.

With this thinking would you support abusive relationships because they represent a normal family?
Father comes home beats the wife and kids but maintains structure of a marriage.
Just interested to see how far you are willing to stretch the idea of a normal marriage,is this any thing that is straight or do you have wiggle room as long as it does not extend to two dudes?

545  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 3 BTC BONUS on: April 28, 2016, 05:52:28 PM
Multi accounting is a big issue with this site, the way they handle this thread should reflect on how they police the site.
I use their dice from time to time because I like the format on my cell and on a blue moon I play a freeroll.
Otherwise I am just waiting for them to actually present themselves to be a better site, potential is there but they seem to be uninterested in actually doing anything to fix current issues and optics.
546  Other / Off-topic / Re: I'm putting together a bitcoin clixsense team, make a minimum of $1.00 a day on: April 28, 2016, 05:42:35 PM
Most likely find a better response in marketplace than in the Off topic where people are shaded more towards trolling then actual legit responses.

That said my life must suck if I am giving up a legit job to make $30 a month,if any one that is not in a third world Country applies let me know!

Quitting a job? Oh I get it, you're trolling as well. Nobody ever said anything about quitting a job. But anyone who thinks that an extra minimum of $30 a month is nothing, clearly has no clue about personal finance. A person would have to invest a minimum of $17,000 USD into a high yield ETF then get really lucky to get anything over 6.5% return and then find a way to skate the taxes on that earned income to make the same $365 in a year. What's great about it is the guy who is intelligent enough to figure that out. If a guy had 0 funds to invest in anything, he could surpass the returns of a guy who had $17k to invest and only have to spend as much time every day as it takes the average person to take a shit.

Truth is, I knew going in that this would result in nothing more than trolls and the likes of teenage mentality. This was more a social experiment for the public eye, something I could link to from my blog to demonstrate that the average Bitcoin user has the equivalent financial sense of a 5th grader. Sadly, that experiment only proved partially true as 2 people were either broke enough or just had enough free time on their hands to inquire. Good thing for those two. One of them made $11 yesterday in under 10 minutes.

I could collect cans, pan handle, sell my self for sex and because I do none of these I have no idea of personal finance?
Seems like a leap to say such a thing, maybe I think my time is worth more than what you have to offer.

Second paragraph is a cop out and you know it,you realize that you made a stupid thread in the wrong section to exploit people and now want to save face. If you ask me you end it off with the classic scammer line by stating some one is making so much more than you stated. Sell that potential brother.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Officially Recognizes Bitcoin and Digital Currencies as Money on: April 28, 2016, 05:34:32 PM
There are a few things that always make me curious when it comes to KYC and AML's.
Do they submit the information quarterly or right away, what are the guidelines for them?
Maybe they just keep the information in case of audit, would like to know because I hate these rules. Grin
=================================================================

Japan as I have stated in similar threads has potential but often sides on the more regulation is needed side of things.
That is what worries me about them because they could be the first to lay the ground work and other countries will just mirror what they set out for their people. If its to tight on the regulatory side it could be a bad thing all around.
Hope they let bitcoin breathe...
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The British government is considering paying out research grants with bitcoin on: April 28, 2016, 05:17:38 PM
Read the article and I know they say the government is becoming more excepting of bitcoin but most of the article is talking about blockchain technology and how they can use it. The only real reference to bitcoin is that it was used once in bitcoin atm by Osbourne.
So I am curious how they plan to use blockchain technology for grants if they are not using bitcoin, but I guess that is where we get the nudge towards bitcoin usage.

After reading a article about Russia cracking down and Britain being more open I am starting to wonder if there is more to this than meets the eye. Like bitcoin may be the way to take down some of these Countries that oppose or reflect a different image than the majority.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Law Would Send Bitcoin Users to Jail as Cybercriminals on: April 28, 2016, 05:08:52 PM
7 years does not sound like Russia is taking bitcoin seriously, was expecting more like 25 years to be honest.
If you look at bitcoin and its popularity in Countries that are not exactly in line with Russia you may worry that it could potentially become a issue that becomes a lion.
Falls in line with Putin requiring his oligarch and generals to re-patriot their money back to Russia. He does not want his generals being compromised when their children are held hostage by the enemy. Its known that a lot of these generals where funneling their funds to their children who all mostly live abroad.
So you think about that and then add bitcoin shaking things up,its a issue they really do not want to get into.
Any potential worm that cracks the door open just a little for America to come in the back is not a good thing for them.

Cold war is still on do not believe the hype.
550  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudia Arabia helped 9/11 hijackers on: April 28, 2016, 04:59:49 PM
Is it my imagination or do we suddenly have a Saudi propaganda group in this forum. Have counted three Jr. members so far that pretty much seem off topic and the point is always America is wrong in some way. Just a thought now back on topic.
====================================================================

So individuals can not sue a Country but big companies will be able to do so under these new trade agreements!
Does this not make things clear that government is not for the people and is toxic at the core;its disgusting the route we are going now.
Think its in the publics interest to see these documents because it could give a lot of countries reason to pull out of the middle east and let the middle east settle their own issues. Some of the reason we are there in the first place stems from Iraq and then this 9/11 aspect. So Iraq is done with and if the Saudis are responsible they can pay for all the damages and proceed to clean up their own mess, instead of hiding behind other groups.
Imagine all the postivie that could come from this as we could out the Saudis for who they really are!
They would face restrictions as a terrorist country and it would strangle them to the effect of losing all sway.
551  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Arabia threatened to attack the United States if they passed a bill on: April 28, 2016, 04:49:26 PM
Saudi Arabia essentially threatened the US with an economic attack over the weekend if we pass a bill currently in the House.
The bill would publicly release information about their involvement in funding the attacks on 9/11.
And from the looks of it, the US is going to cave to their threat.

Now, I am against war and was against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan but I see this as an act of war.
When we went into Iraq I asked:
Did Iraq attack us?
Did Iraq threaten to attack us?
Did Iraq hint in any way that they planned on attacking us?

They did none of those things and yet we attacked them.

Saudi Arabia literally threatened to attack us economically unless we met their demands. That right there is cause for action.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3543702/Saudi-Arabia-threatens-pull-750-billion-U-S-assets-Congress-passes-bill-making-government-liable-9-11-related-lawsuits.html

i think that united states will be screwed up by saudi arabia .. because saudi arabia is more powerful than united states.. it has got modern times gold what is called '' oil''...

Not even close, money is one thing but sway is another. Do not think that other countries would not also like to pull the Saudis back in line. Iran will be taking all the attention and the Saudis do not need a break with the States at this time.

Besides Saudi money is not going to want to piss off all the Chinese money also invested in the States. End of the day the Saudis are allowed to swagger because of the oil,if the world has had enough they would be done with in short order.
552  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Jam is an absolute joke on: April 28, 2016, 04:44:51 PM
So the plan to earn interest by lending anonymous irreversible internet currency without collateral to strangers online who use fake documents and fake social media accounts to get graded with fake reviews on previous loans which are most probably from their shill accounts didn't work well? who would have thought.. Roll Eyes

The thing is, BTCJam puts in a lot of work trying to make it's users seem legitimate.
A lot of the users there are relevant, and the documentation is presumably, often real.

I had invested there back in 2013, and the fact that they are still running is testament to the fact that it is legitimate enough, and has enough people who do not default, for people to continue investing there.

Lot of bad sites are still around and active that scam their users its not a testament to being legit, its more showing how many people still join to feed the scammers. If you can get past the scammer part, then I want you to think about the day they close shop with all your details. This site does not just have the run of the mill information on the users,it asks people to compromise their bank accounts for one by letting them look at it. Then they ask for all your social media, sin, paystubs, email and list goes on all so you can gain a higher rank! The highest ranked people will be the lambs that get slaughtered first as they are most likely the easiest and potentially juicer targets for a 3rd party to hit.

Its really a laugh thinking that people are willing to castrate themselves financially and even identity wise to make a few bucks on a site that does nothing to protect the user at the end of the day.

553  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: April 28, 2016, 12:46:45 PM
Have only used bitcoin at a cafe as I waited for my bitcoin transaction from their btm. Was alright but not smooth.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs blockchain reach on: April 28, 2016, 12:44:29 PM
Blockchain is popular as banks and other companies can see a use for it, unlike bitcoin their competition. Most likely why there is a up tick in searches.
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin already using too much power by 2020? on: April 28, 2016, 12:40:37 PM
Lot of alarmist threads about energy use for bitcoin and it always fails to consider that tech in this field is also moving forward an Tesla is just one example of this. Not worried!
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Could Save India $7 Billion on: April 28, 2016, 12:36:13 PM
Hypothetical numbers always presume that they tap into the whole segment of the population. Would be positive for bitcoin but have doubts on a lot of these services grabbing a footing in India.
557  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Transsexual calls the rainbow pride flag an 'offensive' + non-inclusive symbol on: April 28, 2016, 12:31:03 PM
Was a march on our capitol for transgender rights.
Was 15 of them with yet another flag that seperates them from the LGBTQ flag.
Problem was they where asking for rights beyond everyone else.

Thanks for the responses, the paper wallet was what I was thinking of at the time but could not think of any other way.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AML & KYC on Bitcoin on: April 27, 2016, 06:49:58 PM
These rules stifle growth of a few aspects of bitcoin.
Find it interesting how far bitcoin has gone from its roots of anti government to full submit ass up in the air. Guess greed outruns the freedom aspect bitcoin could have offered.
The more rules that are brought in the less of a movement bitcoin becomes.

Bend yer knee for thy government!
560  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium new wallet and crowdsale on: April 27, 2016, 06:35:05 PM
Nice. I like using this product a lot more than blockchain and look forward to future developments, the invoicing is a interesting feature.
