21  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fortunejack has the worse customer service on: June 04, 2016, 06:07:10 PM
Think if the issue is not addressed in a 4 day span,it most likely does not get responded to.
Actually got a response back to a email that shocked me and it took them 5 days to get to me to say they will find out for me.

Meanwhile I was able to just ask the Latin players at the table and get the answer from them.

Lot of bitcoin related sites lack in customer support,it almost feels like there is a business plan there that could help some of these sites.

If its to show a plight or cause, they should also have representation from every terrorist group and gorilla movement.
Some of them do not see themselves as terror groups and maybe we should be more open minded.

ISIS in track number 6 might make people run a little faster. Cheesy

Was hard to watch him paraded out by the family in those last 10 years, hope my time here is a bit more swift with the ending part.
74 is quite a long time for a guy that got hit in the head for a living before they actually had concussion rules.
Be at ease great one.

If you are dead set on this,I would go talk to a lawyer to see what you could potentially be looking at legally.
Consider that money well spent as you are going to need to set up the site based on those factors.
Jumping the gun and setting up a site not knowing is a real scary idea.

Think a lot of us have thought about running a site but the money you need to pump in to it to keep it going for a well.
You will also face DOS attacks from competition, they will put on bigger promos to run you out,you got cheaters to deal with and you need a support team.
I watched Luckyflop.eu just do some of the stupidest things and the owner would say he doesnt care,he will be here forever.
Sites closed because all he could do was attract freerollers and bots.

You want to study I would follow cyberdeckpoker in the way they are launching their platform. It will give you a idea on what you may want to copy or tweak to make your own.

Number one problem in bitcoin poker right now is that the rng is fishy as hell. You create hand histories and have a legit firm look at the rng for certification and you are looking at a site that will do well. But most slap together a site with the same rigged rng that generates rake and action.

just kidding, I am a green girl here, wanna find a mentor, to teach me how to trade. and let me far away from the frauds!

Want to make something clear because you do this in most of your posts. Using your sexuality to get a easy ride is going to be a short ride and its either opening yourself up or setting some one up for exploitation. Act right and realize their is sharks in the water and you may be one of those sharks!
26  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: June 04, 2016, 02:17:34 AM
Have tried support maybe three times and each time have received no response back. Presumed that the next message would be dealt with but responses seem to go how the responses here go. Sometimes they come in and respond to one question and leave, other times they respond to the last 10 all at once at the end of the week.
But support emails never have been answered,I wonder if its because I made mention of live support giving me the stone wall response.

They ran a stupid SNG that I really enjoyed and if it does not run Thursday I guess it is gone.
That was the day I caught it,so presuming it might right run then. Fingers crossed. Will not log off thinking it will be there in the morning! Cheesy

We've removed some of the Weekly Promotions (Jack's favourite & Chat bonus), as we are implementing new ones, if that is what you mean.

No. You guys where running bankroll builder 20 man sngs but it looks like those where just a one off. Have not seen them run since and I keep a eye on that. Would help if you guys ran some stuff that was not geared all towards Argentinians. Nothing wrong with them, just feels like we are not wanted players having everything geared towards them.

@mrcasho2
Try live support its the best chance of getting a answer to that problem. I could tell you what I think but I do not know enough.

06-04-2016 Edit:

Was planning the schedule today for the first time to play and noticed there are only 3 tournies today that are not rebuys.
I really do not like rebuys and find it hard to calculate where I am at in a tourney,so tend to avoid them. Played one last night and the players where just tossing chips around and it was not my cup of tea.
See if they can add more regular tournies and format other than rebuy for the weekends.

Blogs are the way a lot of people get a business going, take that 4 hour work week guy and his books. He used his blog as a launching pad and never looked back. Its pretty similar if you have a whole wack of tricks to navigate on the cheap through Europe.
Think of all the kids wanting to do Europe as their first vacation trip, they would definitely be looking into those concepts.

But you seem kind of guarded about it and I did not mean to poke you or provoke you in any way,was just curious in another human being.
Understand the need to protect yourself being a little more glaring being without a country.

29  Economy / Services / Re: I want to create a gambling site on: June 03, 2016, 11:44:33 PM
nope i am not

There are plenty of people that can set up a site for you,the problem I have is you are unwilling to even search it out on your own.
So chances are you are not to serious about setting a site up and have done little due diligence in preparing for the what if parts.
This is not something you just walk into for a few bucks, its going to alter a path if there is a sudden clamp down on bitcoin related gambling.
Go read into the founder of Bodog for a example of how he is unable to go certain places or he will be detained.

30  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: June 03, 2016, 11:14:20 PM
You have to include the bitcoin address you're signing from Evildrum, without knowing which address was used to sign the message, there's no possible way to know if the message verifies or not.

After your edit (address added), the message verifies (online link).

Thank you.. You caught me in a funny spot. Was trying to finish that by pasting all the details and then going back to the original post to copy the format and throw everything in order. Hard to do when I had some one yacking at me on the other end of the phone.

Appreciate you verifying this for me.

Aslo thanks for that link, now I need to learn how to verify a message. Cry

You forget to mention wallet name, coz every wallet developer have diffirent policy.

Was tempted to edit the post and throw the link in but I figured it might go missed.

https://blockchain.info/

Thought referencing blockchain and legacy would be enough to point in the right direction.
Really just starting to wonder as these wallets upgrade could you potentially be locked out if you do not keep upgrading as well.

Chicago Releases Videos Of Police In Alleged Excessive Force Cases

Quote
The city of Chicago today released hundreds of videos of police shootings and arrests, some in cases where critics contend police used excessive force. The city is struggling to regain public support for its police force after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald in 2014. Since then other shootings in Chicago, many involving young black men, have fueled ongoing public outrage in the city.

So I think its pretty clear that police as a whole got some image problems at the best of times.
I know locally they are having such a hard time finding people that want to be cops that they have lowered the standards in height and physical. Also have a tendency to hire the racial makeup of the area, which has allowed even more bad cops in through needs of certain races.
We have pretty clear racial divides in our city,so you go to one area and the cops are all asian. You roll 20 minutes East and its mostly Punjabi.
35  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Refugees to have own team at Rio Olympics on: June 03, 2016, 07:51:35 PM
a great way to gain sympathy from the countries participating in the Olympics rio jenerio possible if one of alit pengusi achievement they can get an offer to become a citizen of a particular country, we must respect their struggle to get a sympathy.

Its kind of a stupid thing because of two issues that are connected to these olympics.
One is athletes fleeing their country during or after their event which is very common thing to occur.
Then you have people that represent a country they are not even a part of as a chance to medal.

WASHINGTON — At the Winter Olympics in Sochi this February, a German prince will represent Mexico. A South Korea native will represent Russia. And a Singapore-born, London-raised violinist will ski for Thailand.

Meet 2014's Olympic carpetbaggers — the latest in a long line of competitors who’ve sought glory under a foreign flag. Like other imported athletes before them, they’ve established only tenuous ties to their ostensible motherlands, and exist as awkward reminders that, even as the games embrace the rhetoric of national pride, opportunism knows no borders.

36  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any specific page for all these!!! on: June 03, 2016, 06:04:29 PM
Have only read one so far and I think its due to me skimming past ads usually. One in thirty chance would make me see a lot more than one in my history! Grin Will have to pay more attention to these ads,the interesting part was the auction link for me.
Like peeling back the onion.

I was wanting to update to the new wallet but it stated I would need to upgrade my web browser to a level that I can not reach on this computer and I wanted to find out a few things. Contacted support but wanted to see what others knew about this issue.

Has anyone else ran into this situation with blockchain and the new upgrade?

Really have two questions about this issue.

1. Do they plan to faze out legacy accounts, meaning you will be forced to upgrade?

2. Is there a way to still set up a wallet with a out of date server?

Last question is a stretch but think we have some creative minds on this forum.

Was not a issue I was expecting to have to deal with, bit ignorant of the situation I guess.

St. Louis police chief takes to Twitter to brag about unconstitutional arrest

Last night Chief Sam Dotson of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department in Missouri tweeted this:

There are a number of problems with this tweet, first among them that the Chief is bragging about an unconstitutional arrest. Numerous federal courts have held that statutes banning or restricting panhandling are unconstitutional. In September 2015, the First Circuit Court of Appeals held that a Portland, Maine anti-poor people ordinance banning people from sitting or standing on roadway medians was unconstitutional because it violated the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of speech. Federal courts have also cited the First Amendment in striking down anti-panhandling ordinances in Lowell and Worcester, Massachusetts. Also in 2015, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals found unconstitutional a Springfield, Illinois ordinance banning panhandling in the city’s downtown. Put simply, as ACLU of Maine legal director Zachary Heiden said after winning in the First Circuit: “Panhandling is First Amendment protected speech.”

In St. Louis, like in too many cities nationwide, officials are responding to poverty by criminalizing poor people’s speech. Adding insult to injury, the chief apparently has no problem publicly bragging about conduct that numerous federal courts have held violates the law.

And his tweet is troubling in more than one way. While he says arresting poor people for public speech is a “great result” of the department’s new snitch app, he also claims the app allows users to provide “anonymous tips.” But that’s not what users are told when they attempt to download the app from the Google Play store. As Twitter user @thatsracistaf2 observes, the app actually sucks up a lot of personal information, including identifying information, location, phone data, media files, and wifi info.

It really sucks that we treat people that are down on their luck in a manner where they deserve everything they got coming to them.
Being homeless is a tough kick in the balls and I do not think people appreciate how hard that is on the body and the mind.

Just last night the news ran a story about how city workers come along and throw homeless peoples belongings in a bin and drive off with it.
Interviewing these people they stated it happens multiple times a week, you imagine being uprooted in that fashion!
Now I know the bigger picture is the city wants to clean that area up for development and money is driving this perverse need to bully the down and out.
You think the cops are there for you till you end up on the wrong side of the stick. I constantly see them badgering homeless people in the morning. Most people do not see it because they do not get up that early to see all these homeless people being pushed along.

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How police think about Bitcoin enthusiasts ? on: June 03, 2016, 05:09:48 PM
Large amounts I would worry about potential money laundering issues, especially if you are caught with a lot of money in a public setting.
If I was American I would have more worries because they have some odd laws that entrap people.

You really do not know until they target the issue and people start getting hit in stings through say localbitcoins.

A example here in my neck of the woods a whole wack of pot dispensaries where allowed to open up shop.
Pot is illegal but the municipal level decided to turn the other way and this made a stampede to open up these shops.
Its illegal to sell pot on all levels of government but the local police decided they had better things to do with their time then bust pot smokers.
So flash forward a year and we have a circus going on. The municipal are telling a majority of these shops to close because the new rules
are making them illegal. These shops are refusing to close and willing to pay the fine. All the well pot is going to be legal in the next year
right through Canada.
It a trend I have noticed though right across Canada is cops are doing big raids with big media campaigns to show all the drugs they took off the streets to get brownie points from some one,who knows who! It makes little sense to crack heads when its legal in less than a year but they are tripping over themselves trying to shut these places down.
So that example should tell you the mindset of what could happen with bitcoin, seems to be a trend in my Country of the police making examples of people right before a issue is going to be legal. The ole "Its not legal yet" gambit.
40  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fortunejack bot? on: June 03, 2016, 04:54:11 PM
The patterns of their dice seem to be a little more predictable than others. My first foray into dice was with Yobit and now they are impossible to play. Hit the button and wait 10 seconds, there is not instant play.
What I would want in a FJ bot is these things:

A option that goes from min bet. to a set amount that I can toggle between quickly. I find that a pattern develops where I bet lose, bet win and it repeats for a bit. So if I could quickly hit a button to bet min and then bet a larger amount that would be great. Not sure if that is what you are looking for in a bot.

Another is those long spreads of loses, followed usually by some pretty big wins. If a bot could recognize those patterns I would be all over it.
There was a guy that posted in the FJ thread about his bot, might want to contact him if you feel like searching that thread.
