661  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: April 15, 2016, 05:55:30 PM
Have little faith in my greed and knowledge of trading to be able to rely on leaving a job that will consistently pay me till I retire with no issues. It would be a big leap and I would most likely gamble to much to actually make a decent go of it.
Would love to but I know myself better than that.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Divorce: A Match Made in Heaven? on: April 15, 2016, 05:49:10 PM
I still don't understand how bitcoin changes the situations anyway. The articles is based on gender inequality, emphasizes more on men and women powers using the terms such as "feminist".Assuming men wanted to save the money hiding from their wives, there already exists a number of way to do that before bitcoins came into picture.Simple example would be an alternate savings accounts.Agree that bitcoin has changed the game but not for long until it becomes very popular at a level where wives' would keep the private keys of their husband's wallets!  Grin

Its really amazing how many guys work all week and hand the cheque over to wifey and let her spend it as she wants.
Always get a kick out of the ones that allow their wives to dress them and bust a gut when I see them wearing identical jackets. Will never forget being out with some buddies after work, work guys! We where sitting at the bar and his phone kept ringing because he was not on his way home. Next thing you know she had driven all the way downtown and was standing over him telling him he would have to find somewhere else to sleep tonight and she took his car keys and left.
He went on a tear and ended up at a dive bar, waking up in the alley still drunk. So she taught him a lesson I guess.
Still got her standing there in a huff till he noticed she was there, talk about drama I do not need in my life.
663  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Canadian Police Intercept and Read Encrypted BlackBerry Messages on: April 15, 2016, 05:43:40 PM
The main selling feature was encryption for them,so its a pretty good nail in the coffin.
Kind of sad,I know a guy that wants to retire that heavily invested in RIM because his brother was working for them and promised they where about to fly. Sure a lot of Canadians have them in their portfolios just hoping they return to even for them to drop the stock.

664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Video: David Cameron UK Prime Minister says "Blockchain" on: April 15, 2016, 05:40:11 PM
The interesting aspect of that is a man facing some scrutiny over being connected to the panama papers,so not sure if we want him endorsing bitcoin on his way out the door. The banks love blockchain but not bitcoin and the reason they want it is so they can go back to controlling every aspect of our finances.
665  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Canadian Police Intercept and Read Encrypted BlackBerry Messages on: April 15, 2016, 05:37:40 PM
Another black eye for blackberry so much for them being able to turn the ship around and become relevant again.
The truth is all of these companies to do business allow these types of backdoors, read this a well back and for some reason its kind of talked about like it may be the case,it is the case!
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Considers Regulating Bitcoin as Currency on: April 15, 2016, 05:34:40 PM
Since bitcoin is invented by Japanese, Japan is the world most Bitcoin friendly country.
If they don't realize this, this will be a sad story.
It is assumed that Bitcoin was invented by a Japanese person, there isn't really any evidence to support that though. For all we know it is an anagram or some other code name, or even just a generic name.

I don't doubt it was invented by someone who was Japanese, but I just want to clear up that there isn't any evidence yet.
If Japanese government regularise bitcoin,it would be the first country to do it and there must be a reason for them to do this.It only going to make this assumption stronger that bitcoin was born in Japan.Maybe Satoshi is campaigning for bitcoin there to be regularised and with all the wealth that he has,it is just possible for him

It has been talked about in plenty of Countries,Japan just seems to be the one driving the fastest at the moment.
Japan needs something to drive the economy as they age and the kids have no children they are facing some dire problems with staying a float. Also the earth quakes love them in a bad way.
667  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US corporations have $1.4tn hidden in tax havens, claims Oxfam report on: April 15, 2016, 05:32:02 PM
They probably wont even get prosecuted over this. If it was your average joe blogs of the street he would be fined or even jailed for such actions. Multimillion dollar firms wont have any of these issues.

When you look at prisons the majority of people that can not pay are the ones that end up doing time.
So if you think of the economic aspect it is more clear why there is such a high percentage of young black men in jail.
White collar crime usually gets a nice cozy prison or house arrest.

Joe blow gets the guy that does not like having another guy in his cell and is feeling kind of horny, violent or both.

Read a article that made me think of how we ebb and flow with this kind of dynamic. Meaning the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and then something changes and we get a blip, then the system start going back to normal. Reason why we have dynasties that go back 100s of years.
668  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "Why aren’t we earning enough to live?" – The Divide lays bare global inequality on: April 15, 2016, 05:25:27 PM
So what's wrong? Ive never understood how some people have the belief that men are a superior species, with the right to everything they please on the planet, and that they should be entitled to a nice house, a beautiful car, and a good standard of living. If the people shown in that documentary don't like their lives, they're millions who are willing to exchange their lives with them. In Bulgaria, minimum wage is $300 per month. In Ethiopia, there's no such thing as minimum wage, but people are happy to work 48 hours per week to get $100 at the end of the month, and they live in a place that a American wouldn't call a house, without running water.

How about India? I guess it's the country where the economical divide is the largest.

When you say men are you meaning both sexes because I do not understand the point if you are selecting a sex to drive the point. Will presume you mean humans unless you address that part.

You can not compare a third world persons plight with some one in a Country like the States and say they are happy making peanuts. They are not happy, its just what life offers them and the only way to change that is leaving that Country for a better future. You should talk to more people that migrated for a better life and you might understand the issues with people making barely enough to survive. Its actually kind of gross to think that we should all be happy with that kind of exsistence. Maybe you can clarify this view point as it does seem quite unique.
669  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: April 15, 2016, 05:16:42 PM
New updated software with fun new colors. wooooooooooo

Anything else?  Seems like in the last 6 months the only changes have been new chat colors and reduced gtd's.

This is something I am not understanding about a lot of the bitcoin poker sites. They seem happy to stay in this small bubble and not expand the product. Swear the community should just get together and create a site and membership means you get a vote on all dynamics of the site so it stays for the players.

671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cheaters (double spenders) and what the gambling sites are doing against them on: April 15, 2016, 05:08:04 PM
No one wants to help me understand how this works? Always hear about waiting for confirmations but never read how people are able to cancel a transaction?
Was thinking this should not be a issue but forgot about people being able to create infinite accounts.

I am not exactly sure how double spending works, but I can assure you that these cheaters have it down to an exact science!

Also I believe it's called a "Race Attack" which you can read about here:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Double-spending

Thank you for that link will take a look in a minute to see how this is done. The shady scammers seem to be able to sit around all day dreaming up ways to take advantage of bitcoin aspects and I hope one day they get a dose of their own medicine.
672  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Scientology on: April 15, 2016, 05:05:00 PM
It is a CIA front group. L. Ron Hubbard had direct ties with the CIA. If you look at how Scientology operates you can see it is organized exactly like an intelligence agency collecting blackmail on all of its members and opponents.

Wasn't Scientology started by some one in Germany and Hubbard just ripped it off and put his own stamp on it?
Thought that was the story line and the CIA angle I do not think was involved initially in the start, maybe later on to learn what was it called dia something.

Was a identical thread on the same issue last night, could have just replied there to reflect the issue stronger, unless that is also your thread as well.
Either way containment would make the issue easier to deal with.
674  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Healthiest Old Person on the Planet Explains How to Stay in Shape on: April 15, 2016, 03:00:53 AM
Involuntary retirement is a big killer of seniors,my former doctor told me to work as long as possible for a longer life.

The reason that this rings true is some people never had a life outside of work and raising kids. So the kids grow up get busy with work and their own families, sometimes moving away. No work, no hobbies, what the hell do now!
Live a balanced life outside of work and I doubt this stays a factor with age because you will know what to do to relax and enjoy life.
675  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia defends close encounter with U.S. Navy missile destroyer on: April 15, 2016, 02:52:06 AM
The world looks to the States to help police the world and in doing so allow America to have more say and power over issues.

That is a very american point of view. It happens sometimes when interests in some countries coincide with american interests. Or with corrupt governments. Or other governments that don't represent the people. But most often it happens because america is more powerful and can force others to follow its orders. If they don't they become the next iraq, iran, syria, north korea, cuba, etc. Subject to sanctions, delegitimization, coups, or invasions.
Thought this was actually something they agreed to , but totally agree with the self serving aspects of policing the world. Maybe a American can confirm the policing the world mandate as I have read it but never understood why it is in place.

677  Other / Meta / Re: I caught someone cheating in auction on: April 14, 2016, 07:01:55 PM
It's called shill bidding.  It is wire-fraud - a federal crime.  Ergo anyone participating in such a scheme is conducting a scam.  An illegal scam - do you need any more justification that that to give a negative rep to all alts involved?

I read this like autistic kid was blurting it out mid conversation and it made me smile.

So you looking to take this case to court or you just letting us know how smart you are for knowing such facts?
678  Other / Meta / Re: I caught someone cheating in auction on: April 14, 2016, 06:34:46 PM
The person risks no one biting,if people get into a frenzy because others are involved they need to figure out better ways of going about buying in a auction, long run they will overpay way to often.
Its always buyer beware and you need to figure things out mostly on your own or get duped when some one is not there to hold your hand.
Not saying it isn't shady but you need to lock down proof of such thing and not let it turn into a he said, she said situation.
679  Economy / Reputation / Re: cryptodevil has left negative trust on a bought account on: April 14, 2016, 06:29:49 PM
The default trust does seem to imply trust of people that could potentially not be on the up and up. But it should also be in every new accounts mind to read how the forum works and understand as many aspects as they can before running into a signature like so many do.
Seeking out accounts to flag seems abit off to me but again this is why people need to read up on trust when joining to realize not everything is what it seems.
Thanks a lot for your insightful comment. How much you earned for this "constructive" statement? 0.00007 BTC?

You concerned for my financial outlook, you can always donate to me if it worries you so much.

Why should I address the obvious, when threads like this are a dime a dozen. People buy cheap accounts and contact people that left negative comments and get no where,so they cry in meta for change. Nothing ever comes of it and nothing should,or the whole point of leaving trust goes up in smoke.
Besides I thought it was leaning more in line with you than not, interesting you took offense to it.
Sorry I did not pick up a banner like you and QS and scream about dooglus,or is there only one person doing that?

Anyways thanks for the feedback Bill Gates its nice to know some one really cares here.
