561  Other / Meta / Re: Easier newbie integration on: April 27, 2016, 05:47:22 PM
Understand the 5 minute wait time and think its something people just need to live with when joining but why is there also a wait on searches? That one I do not understand because people will tend to search once, not find what they wanted, attempt a second search and see they have to wait. So they post or they give up.

Curious why that one is needed.
562  Other / Politics & Society / Transsexual calls the rainbow pride flag an 'offensive' + non-inclusive symbol on: April 27, 2016, 05:11:23 PM
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/brooklyn-fink-ubc-pride-flag-1.3553719

I saw this on the news last night and they kept referring to the transgender as a guy and nothing else.
Very clearly a dude but the media refused to explain that aspect and I was left scratching my head.

Looks like the drama is turning inwards though,so buckle up!
563  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Arabia threatened to attack the United States if they passed a bill on: April 27, 2016, 05:02:38 PM
That

I'm not referring to Saudi Arabia as racist I'm referring to US. I'm sorry if my statement is unclear. I hope this will make it clear to you now.

That has little to do with the discussion at hand. If you are saying the States is racist for releasing the information, you have a thin grasp on what racism is. The bill will shed light on how connected to 9/11 the Saudis really are and help us get to the bottom of a terror attack that happened on US soil. If you call some one racist for investigating this you are either not understanding the topic or trolling.
564  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Arabia threatened to attack the United States if they passed a bill on: April 27, 2016, 04:42:05 PM
This is just completely racism but I don't get it on how Saudi Arabia reacts on that bill.

But this has a big change on the economy if this happens.

Quote
Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Juberi told Washington lawmakers the country would be forced to sell $750 billion in Treasury securities

Can you clarify this statement,it looks like you are saying its racist to point out that the Saudis are trying to extort the States or that the story is fabricated?
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unluckiest transaction ever? 249 BTC miners fee, mined by BitClub on: April 26, 2016, 08:33:27 PM
Did this not just happen a month ago as well?

Seem to recall another high miners fee involving a transaction as well. The fact people have enough bitcoins to cover the fee is something, guess this is what you call whale issues as I do not think the majority of us would end up having this transaction go through.
566  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Jam is an absolute joke on: April 26, 2016, 08:20:17 PM
This is why I cannot understand why people say BTC anonymity s a good think. Big time BS. It only allows scammers to stay hidden.

Bitcoin is not so anonymous. If a transaction is linked to you, you are exposed, all your other transaction can be linked.

If you are not crossing your "T",then yes this is the case for people. This is why we need to educate more people how to use bitcoin effectively,so they are not leaving such obvious trails to their bitcoins.
567  Other / Beginners & Help / Selling bitcoin(Not connected to internet) on: April 26, 2016, 08:00:46 PM
Was reading a thread and started to think about ways to move bitcoin without actually being tapped into the network.

1. Buyer connected to internet, seller offers code to scan for said amount agreed on well not connected.

Any other ways to have one party not connected?

Was also looking at the wifi direct option and that looked to dicey to connect into the buyers/sellers network during a transaction.
568  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why BTC price in BTC-e is 2-3% lower than other markets? on: April 26, 2016, 07:55:09 PM
This was the first site I ever traded at and I was naive enough not to notice I was bleeding out in fees. Expensive learning lesson, thought I was smart enough just to ignore the troll box. Some interesting ideas on why they are usually on the lower end of value.
569  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: April 26, 2016, 07:21:32 PM
as far as I concern I think the new update is no new jr. members are allowed I am confuse if all jr. members or new jr. members.

Its the new Jr, the ones that already joined prior to the new rules should be ok.

As a current Jr. Member I can confirm those in the campaign prior to this news are most likely grandfathered.
This only effects new members that want to join the campaign.

570  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Saudi Arabia threatened to attack the United States if they passed a bill on: April 26, 2016, 05:59:45 PM
Bumping this because there is a similar thread and some one in it was looking for a link and could not find one.
Here it is.

Saudis confuse me but I think thats the kind of games you get when you have a crap load of money and start angling the world in a troll like fashion. If they end up being behind 9/11 what will it change on the global table? States would be pissed but they must have known this for a hell of a long time now and are still working with them.
Canada is still selling them armored vehicles for a billion contract,so business as usual I guess.
Wonder why the threats and why its coming to light now when things are a bit dicey!
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: WARNING: Remove your funds from Yobit.net before May 1st! on: April 26, 2016, 05:54:48 PM
Think its clear that people should not leave funds of any substantial amount on any exchange as the chances are they could wake up to a closed account. Picking on Yobit sounds like some past issues otherwise you would be addressing all exchanges and not pinpointing to one.
Will mark the date and see how correct you are wizard. Cheesy
572  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Canadian Police Intercept and Read Encrypted BlackBerry Messages on: April 26, 2016, 05:50:37 PM
I disagree with all of this, but at the same time, I have a completely different theory as to what privacy truly is.  If you are texting something to someone, you need to understand that this may be seen by a third party.

Agree but why cant we have this privacy without some one exploiting loopholes to make us naked time after time?
Its getting to the point that we are chasing a elusive white whale that may never be available in the world today.
573  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nerds vs. the rest on: April 26, 2016, 05:43:15 PM
If this is rel I'd have to assume that nerds get happier as they get older because they're better intellectually prepared for life.

They get happier as the guy that bullied them drops of a heart attack, goes into bankruptcy or goes into a divorce and falls apart. Time is the greatest justice for people like this as they move out of moms basement when they die.
574  Other / New forum software / Re: Ability to see threads created by user. on: April 26, 2016, 05:41:06 PM
Wow I was actually able to follow instructions and searched myself, think I need to create some more threads to push the current ones down the page! Embarrassed

I like this feature,it can really get to the meat of a members personality, not mine, ignore that but most people! Cool
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Taavet Hinrikus our resident FUDster? on: April 26, 2016, 05:35:56 PM
Those bitcoin is dead threads are mostly ignored by me as they tend to be pushing a altcoin or the price. Either way its done by people with low scruples. Think they should be tossed in the altcoin section rather then here pushing decent threads to the next page.
576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Jam is an absolute joke on: April 26, 2016, 05:27:03 PM
You think they are a joke now, wait till they go under and sell all the information on their clients to a third party.
Thats going to be a big smelly mess when people realize all that information they gave btcjam is gold to some dataminers and hackers.

What I found hilarious was watching which loans got filled and which did not,it was obvious some where building rep to make a bigger rip off.
577  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 3 BTC BONUS on: April 26, 2016, 05:20:28 PM
Ugh...

I have never had one response answered in this thread and it looks like the only people that get responded to our the people that are directly above the reply when they log in.

Still nothing explaining these freerolls or even a attempt to advertise. Most of the time their responses seem to be a attempt to get people to shut up or go away, even when its no where close to a question that makes FortuneJack look bad.

Going to stay clear because they seem to have some serious English issues and their moral compass on a lot of the issues in this thread scare me.
578  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: April 26, 2016, 05:17:01 PM
Why am i banned???

Most likely because you can barely write more than 3 words in most of your responses.
They tend to want to see a little more dedication to writing something than:

russia....  Grin

is shipping free too?
Whaleclub are a bunch of scammers! BEWARE!

Nope. Welcome to yobit.

Random grabs but you should get the point.
579  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nerds vs. the rest on: April 26, 2016, 05:12:33 PM
I don't understand

You'd think a nerd's QoL would stay the same (if full NEET shut-in) or decrease, because the lack of social interaction from earlier years would result in more 'life mistakes' later in life (with a bigger impact as well).  Too many examples to think of..just imagine a virgin meeting a girl @ ~30, shits not gonna work well  Wink

Think one aspect has to be the guys that go full out in their 20's banging the weights or doing extreme sports.
They hit 30 and they tend to drop from there due to injuries or not adjusting to their slower metabolism.
See it over and over guys that where repping the six pack suddenly hit 30 and they got man boobs and a beer gut.
You hit 40 and the back starts to cause you issues if you have been using your body for work(ie. construction).

The nerd has sat idle with his physicality and starts to look better to the lady that now has a slob for a husband.
Husband is couch ridden and his wife starts needing help with her computer so she can facetime with here girlfriends.
Enter the dork and suddenly she sees he has potential and she could groom him into what she wants with a little sexual blackmail.

Also their are more nerds than cool dudes when the ladies come out of their first marriage.
The crying shoulder tends to be a nerd!

I thought there where a whole slew of services that did this just reading the unread time to time I see a thread related to this topic. Is this not the case anymore, because I was planning to use this type of service in the future.
