1561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I went all in on Xtrabytes. on: June 10, 2017, 06:21:55 AM
Another plus factor for XBY id that it has a smaller distribution compared to others that it reaches billions. I think XBY is doing good in ccex and other exchanges. Me too got my XBY from a twitter campaign if I can remember and I also bought from exchanges. I hope it will continue to grow.
1562  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: June 10, 2017, 06:07:31 AM
Gusto ko sana sumali sa twitter campaign nila, kaso grabe naman 5000+ follower ang hinahanap. Mababa pa lang ang twitter follower ko hehe Magandanagh project na ito, maganda ang konsepto at siguradong maging successful ito.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kraken - not processing inbound transfer - don't use Kraken. - part1 on: June 06, 2017, 02:55:10 PM
I think the rising price of bitcoin affects this kind of issues. As of now, bitcoin is surging, and exchanges I think careful about this. It maybe a liquidations problems? It happened to our local exchanges too. I hope this will be solve in due time.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you do "I do my research" and Technical analysis on: June 06, 2017, 02:44:25 PM
I just visit always the update on there ANN thread. If devs are active then  his coin is OK. Bt on technical analysis, I just check the moving average line. When red is overlapping the green or sometimes yellow then it is dump. When  it crosses again, its a signal in my opinion.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are those "built on the waves platform" coins? on: June 06, 2017, 02:15:10 PM
Its same as token like in Ethereum in my opinion. Though waves is a platform, they have their own exchanges in their sites. As of now, it is easy to make your own coin inside the waves platform. It has many features, better to open your waves wallet there.
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto's passed $100 billions mark... on: June 06, 2017, 02:06:51 PM
It is almost there. I believe before the end of the year the mark(100billion) will be surpassed.

https://coinmarketcap.com/ currently shows $100,614,370,464

It has already passed the park and continues to march forward.

Great news update with cryptocurrency indeed. Just imagine that value, Billions of dollars! We are now in the future, and this is it. Cryptocurrency will have a great role in the future in all our transactions in our daily lives.
1567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: June 06, 2017, 01:58:48 PM
Odd that the largest (2016) and oldest bitcoin exchange (bitstamp) in Europe is choosing to add LTC as it's first Alt. Guess they consider LTC very much alive. This thread really is destined for the trash can.

https://www.bitstamp.net/article/bitstamp-announces-phase-ii-its-development/

LTC is really much alive. With the activation of the Segwit, it gives LTC a revival, a great revival for this coin and even dub as a great alternative for bitcoin.Surely, LTC is one of the stable altcoins since bitcoin time from the very beginning.
1568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: so what happened to MegaUpload 2.0 and its revolution! on: June 06, 2017, 01:49:12 PM
Yes, he confirmed the "private beta" will be released in August. Now, "private beta" should mean that it won't be ready for public released yet, but for testing purposes.

Great, since last year I am anticipating his project. I think it is with micropayments and it is timely that t is will be in demand from now on. I trust Kim for this project as I know he has the capacity to start and fund this project. Hope all lawsuits will be solved and ending soon to pursue this good project.
1569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will the scaling issue* be solved? on: June 01, 2017, 01:19:00 PM
Very soon. Segwit2x has all the support minus Blockstream and the r/bitcoin echo chamber (which is just braindead users parroting "uasf" anyway). Industry will fork to big blocks soon. Corestream will agree or get left behind with their shitty settlement altcoin.

Finally! Make bitcoin great again!

Finally, and I hope this will solved the scaling issues surrounding bitcoin. This is the only setback that bitcoin haters are throwing. Once this is solved, it will make the bitcoin price shoot up to another high and the rest is history. I am supporting this move.
1570  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From $25 to about $200. My most challenging Trade so far on: June 01, 2017, 12:59:04 PM
Trading is all about patience the only problem most of us face is we get nervous and in order to prevent further loss we sell low. The only thing we should remember in trading is stick to a target. For example if you bought at 100$ and your goal is to sell at 150$ wait for it i can assure you it will hit , i mean in most of the big currencies like dash , ltc with high volume trading. Shitcoins can take a while or maybe never recover but trading is all about risking.

This is true, patience is really important. Also, time really can help for long term trade. But trade only with known coins or at least those that are top 10 in coinmarketcap so that it can be stable.

To OP, you are doing well, Smiley Keep up the good work. Really it is very exciting and thrilling in cryptocurrency trading especially when whales are active.
1571  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: May 17, 2017, 03:43:39 AM
We can act as an investor just by holding our bitcoins and wait the price to rise and sell it to make profits. Storing is enough to earn more coins even you don't join some investment sites. It is already proven that the more time you hold, the more money you'll have.

Long term investment for bitcoin is profitable in my opinion. Also, personally I am planning to store at least less than 10 BTC for l;ong term purposes. I am sold to the prediction that it will reach even $10,000 dollars in the future. As of now, the prediction is $4,000 dollars and it seems it is very reachable.
1572  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: May 17, 2017, 03:34:30 AM
I heard bitcoin last year in one of our family member. He encouraged me to make an account here but I am not so sure, so I just log in here from time to time and read about bitcoin. Since I am busy too, not until this year that I am quite familiar with bitcoin now. I am glad he introduced me to this site.
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple releases 333 million more Tokens on: May 17, 2017, 03:20:48 AM
I am also trading XRP but when I know that they add another 333 million Tokens, I halt and thinking what will happen next. I am very caustios now because I do not want ending as a bag-holder. Still. I am trading but on small amount and on short trade.
1574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin becoming so god damn slow? on: May 16, 2017, 11:57:12 AM
If you are talking about the slow confirmation time of bitcoin then i think it is about the volume of transactions that made by users and there is a lot of new users and that is why they are causing some traffic for the network of bitcoin so if they want a faster confirmation time then they needed to put higher fees.

I think that is the reason, there are many users already and it takes time to confirm. Also there are solutions already I think but there are still a debate about it. For the mean time some are using transaction accelerator or viabtc.com. I am hoping  that this problem could be resolve soon, for the ease of transaction.
1575  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make a GOOD prediction? on: May 16, 2017, 11:50:28 AM
Usually in predicting a future value of a coins, what is available tool used is the Technical analysis. In technical analysis, you have to analyses the previous trades with its graphs because as they say "history repeats itself" meaning previous rally, pump etc means to be repeated. There is also the fundamental analysis as a tool. Both of this can be an aid to make prediction or assumption and can be use in making decisions.
1576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: May 16, 2017, 11:40:24 AM
I keep my btc exchange wallet. easily I can transfer my btc and alt coin. other I can trade and earn.
so I like exchange wallet for keep btc.

exchange and offline wallets are good for monitoring payments and transactions. It can be useful anytime.

I think exchange wallets is not good suggestion. try storing it on online wallets such as coinbase and blockchain.io instead of some exchange because still even if they are big exchanges, it can be hacked as before, I know some exchanges had been hacked. So dont store your coins on an exchange in a long term.

In exchange wallet, we do not have a control of our wallet since we don't own our private keys. But we are still using it because of flexibility and ease of use. It is better to used the wallet like the electrum, at least you have the control of your wallet and at the same time it is not heavy to download.
1577  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: May 16, 2017, 11:33:20 AM
I think, yes Bitcoin can improve the economy of a country as most of the times the value of currencies decrease over time due to deflation.
But in case of bitcoin, it roughly doubles in 4 years, so switching to bitcoin is a boon to the people of the country.

It is a great help to any country if your country is in the receiving end. It is the same as remittances, and the more bitcoin are coming in, meaning more people are having income virtually from clients abroad and at the same time it improves the economy in the long run.
1578  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang Sekreto sa Trading on: May 16, 2017, 11:20:35 AM
gusto kong matutunan tong trading system nato, marami ang nagsasabi na malaki ang kinikita nila dto

Pinaka the best niyan, start now then learn.

1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 07, 2017, 12:59:57 PM
A token/coin/scheme/contract system that can do this will be the next big thing.
Fees will be say 0.001% of all transactions which go to the coin/token holders and assurance/incentive fund.
This is not something hard for accomplish and this will be implemented Ethereum blockchain, maybe something similar is in progress already. We already have Projects with endless possibilities like ETH, Waves, KMD..Those teams will surprise us with many new features for sure!

Yes, it seems that ETH token /contract is the "in" now a days. Ethereum strategy a good one. They created a token based platform and anyone can create their own coins. With this, they are creating their own ecosystem within their platform.
1580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: May 07, 2017, 12:34:22 PM
People still prefer bitcoin over fiat because they see a lot of potential and possibilities in bitcoin and i think they earn more money in using bitcoin except in fiat that they earn but it is just a small amount everyday. If i will choose between those two then i would still choose fiat because bitcoin is not yet fully stable and anything worst can happen so i will play safe.

For me, especially when dealing online, I would prefer in bitcoin. It is safe, fast and reliable and anonymous too.Once it is sent, you can check on the blockchain and monitor its progress.Transacting bitcoin online is hassle free. Though there are lag reports this past days, but still its ok.
