An innovation always makes people active for a long. In such a manner people who truly understand the potential and strength it has in all forms prefer bitcoin over fiat though the acceptance is quite low at the moment.

I look at the entire scenario of the comparison, in general I prefer to the most valuable to the majority because they decide what should remain or what should be eliminated.

Fiat has served us for years already and we have no problem using it as a currency, and if you compare that to bitcoin as currency, you can already tell who are the most trusted and the easy answer is fiat all the time.

Bitcoin can only give us a benefits in life if we are an investor because of the demand which we can prove what is happening recently. But this investment or asset that we are trusting as still in it's risky stage since the government has yet to determine on how to officially regulate it.

That is so true. If we invest, trade, and gamble online, that is the best time to use bitcoin. However, the rest will be on fiat money because big businesses always prefer fiat as their main mode of payment. s

The main reason why normal people prefer bitcoin over fiat currency is the ability of bitcoin to increase in price. As of now bitcoin continues to rise in value and it has attracted more and more people to save their money in bitcoins rather than bank. There is more profit in placing your money in bitcoins than leaving it on banks.

You forgot to mention that it can also make your money deplete if the value goes vice versa and I think it is still risky if you had no experience in the movement of bitcoin would be, yes it is greater that fiat in the term to save and invest of money but there are still a down side if you are not very careful in your every move regarding it!

Theres really a risk on everything and on bitcoin is not an exemption and as you said its price may deplete anytime and as an investor or user of bitcoin we should really be aware on the risk that attached to it and we just need to invest the money that we could afford to lose or risk/

Awareness sometimes doesn't help you in resisting in playing gambling because addiction is always there and a person may really never know if he is really addicted or not with gambling, even if a gambler is aware with the reality that gambling is risky if a gambler is addicted there is no choice from him but the will to stop in gambling, but if he can surely reform himself with addiction I think he can surely evade and can be affected with his awareness towards it.

correct, when is comes to selling or buying stuffs online bitcoins have a better security over fiat has you do not need to provide a lot of information about your self,things like credit numbers are not required to complete a transaction and transactions will not be flagged pending scrutiny from the bank to authorize a transaction...bitcoin is simply hassle free and can be used any where any time without restrictions .

i think that bitcoin dont give a lot of information of user, so they will be safe from blackmailing
bitcoin go online of all transaction, so you dont need to go outside of your house
that bitcoin used world wide that everybody can use making it easier to send the money across the country

Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Fiat, also, was not made to be used on porn sites, gambling, and drug dealing and yet fiat is also used in such manners. In relation to bitcoin, fiat and bitcoin were made to be used as a mode of payment. We cannot control how people will use their fiat/bitcoin. I would not say that it is a misuse of currency since bitcoin was used to pay porn site in order to view porn, used to bet in gambling, and payed bitcoin in exchange for drugs. They used bitcoin perfectly as a mode of payment. I say, it is unethical/immoral usage of bitcoin/fiat/currency since they used it illegally, immorally, and unethically.

Many but not the majority of the worlds population, only few numbers of population knows about bitcoin so you can expect they will always use fiat as they see the convenience of using it. I think this is very unreasonable, because by then the bitcoin transactions become easier and cheaper. We all know that in order to send money to a foreign country need cost more than $15 but with bitcoin need only $1.
