In my opinion, Bitcoin and Ethereum is probably the most talked cryptocurrency being a long term investment. Except these coins, I would likey to add Polymath as one of the long term investment. As of now, it is suffering a downward fluctuation because previously distributed airdrop, but I think it will regain its price in a month or year. It is a security token which everyone needs to ensure safety.

Thanks for contributing and helping fellow newbie members in our country, but it doesn't mean that we are going join for money, keep in mind that we are here because of knowledge about cryptocurrency. We dont want other butthurt people from other countries to scold us. Additionally, airdrop is also a way to earn money. It's like free money.  |

Saving money is the most important aspect in life. It will give you a secured future in financial aspect.
But for some third world countries, there is an increase of unemploent rates as well as the increase of wage, that makes saving money a lot harder. Adding the biological needs to make a living.

I belong to a country wherein, most people are underclass level, in drastically in need of money to serve our biological needs, bills and the likes.
So when I participate and recieved my hard earned bounties,I wait for about a week and sell all the coin even though the roadmap isn't fully complete. I am not patient enough to wait and hodl for a bigger gains. The price is so volatile, and it will fluctuate at any time.
It really depends on your needs and your faith about the coin.

I am not that fan of trading, but always doing some cryptocurrency bounties and airdrops to use in trading without investing the risk of losing my own money.
My bad trading habit is too much HODLing, in effect I am always late selling at high prices and waiting longer for it rise again, its so boring and a waste of time. It's like waiting for nothing.

You have 2 options about your current situation.
Like all the others say, it'HODL OR SELL
HODL- If you are not in need in of money, it is better to hold your token, 90% is huge loss to everyone and it can be frustrating to think, investigate what was going if the coin has a future use to the economy. For now forget it for about months or years.
SELL- I think selling is not a good choice. But you will also find another opportunities when selling. Who knows, what if your token rises after you sold it. You LOST

I only see working cryptocurrency a source of extra income in our daily life. As a student, it is more enjoyable to earn in cryptocurrencies as well as learning every aspect of this vast sea. You can gain extra income to support your family as well. But if you are at the right age to find some decent job. GO FIND ONE.
Also keep in mind that it will not change or save your life if you do not exert some effort in reading, trading, and learning. If you payed some effort, you are going to be rewarded soon enough. Go find and invest time.

It is also safe to store your cryptocurrency in exchange for you to enable a trade right away when these coin move in an upward trend, but somehow when you store all your hard earned crypto in an exchange it is very risky, because anytime the exhange platform could be corrupted or get hacked.
Use your wallet. Dont use the exchange as your crypto wallet. You will regret it.

For me it is a difficult task, we need to have a lot of knowledge, understanding every aspect of cryptocurrency especially when we do trading. In order for us to be knowleadgeable about trading we need an actual trading, we need to experience on how to trade, there is more knowledge when we actually do a trade rather than reading.
Learn on how to read buy and selling orders, it is very important in trading.
There are many trading strategies in youtube you can watch.

I currently use these app for security and for managing my altcoin holdings
1. Blockfolio - this is a recommended application to install. It monitors the current price of a particular coin in an exchange. It also shows the total value of your holdings.
2. Google Authenticator - for me this is very useful application to instantly got access into your account that has enabled 2 factor authentication.
3. Mobile wallet application such as blockchain and coinbase wallet for me store my earnings during exchange.

My goal is to survive the ongoing bloodbath in my portfolio, the increase of bitcoin value is so slow that keeps me bothered. I wanted to sell my other altcoins in a good price and I am actually waiting to sell for some profit, and will buy as well during another dip.

I don't think na handa na ang bansa natin sa pag lelegalized ng cryptocurrency. Hindi lahat ng tao sa bansa natin maalam pagdating sa digital money. Unfortunately, matatakot lang din ang mga tao, kasi halos lahat ng pilipino close minded, at hindi nga risk taker.
One more thing, sa tingin ko magpopokus din ang governement natin sa pagpapatupad ng tax sa cryptocurrency at isa ito sa magiging problema sa crypto world.

Nabiktima na ako ng ponzi scheme malaki din ang natangay sa akin kaya hanggang ngayon hirap parin mag move on, kasi dugo at pawis din ang puhunan ko sa perang yon, lately ko lang kasi nalaman na my mga ganito palang forum, na eeducate na ang tao pwede pang kumita ng walang investment. kong masmaaga ko lang sana naka pag member dito sa btt malamang hindi ako na scam, ang modus kasi nila is my expert trader daw sila kuno kaya guaranteed na ang kitahan, triple your money in two months. Yun 1 time palang ako nag payout, after a week shutdown na ang website ng onecashtrading.com hindi na maka log in. Anyway wala akong dapat sisihin kundi sarili ko din nasilaw kasi sa easy money...
Dapat matuto na tayo sa mga ganitong scenario. Ilang beses ng nangyari ito sa karamihan sa mga Pilipino, kasi amak tayo at madaling masilaw sa pera, lagi ang gusto easy money. Why do we need to invest such things, at the first place hindi naman natin kilala ng lubusan ang mga tao behind sa investing scehemes na ito. Always remember na walang easy money sa panahon ngayon, lahat nangangailangan ng pera. Kaya sana matuto na tayo. Mayroon namang trading website siyempre bitcointalk. Mag-iingat na tayo sa mga ganitong pyramiding and investment scheme. |

May mga naitala ba si theymos tungkol sa pag refill ng sMerits sa mga source oh kaya sa mga gaya natin. Iyon na lang ang hindi ko alam sa bagong sistemang ito.
Sa ngayon, yan din ang gusto kong malaman ehh. Nagbabasa ako ng mga posts ng mga merit sources like Vod, may nabasa ako sa post niya na kapag magsesend ka ng merit for example ngayong araw, mababalik yung merit mo after 30 days. Ganito yung pagreplenish ng merit ng mga source, ewan ko lang kung paano nagrereplenish yung mga sMerit ng mga members. Hello , ask lang po sana ako kung bakit wala pa akong ETH wallet sa aking coins.pH account. Wala rin pong update sa play store ung app.
Halos lahat naman ng coins.ph user wala pang ETH wallet. The beta testing is not over yet, marami pa silang adjustments na gagawin for it to be fully operated in different kinds of device. For now, let's just wait for their updates. |

Based on my Experience.. Halos lahat naman ata ng bounty ay legit, nagiging scam ito depende sa bounty manager, most of the time kasi madami silang binibigay na dahilan kung bakit hindi ka binibigyan ng stakes/token kahit na sinunod mo naman yunh rules. Sometimes, most of the bounty manager are too lazy to update the spredsheet.
Also keep an eye of the project. Read their whitepaper because thats the most important information to read about the project.
The team behind it, dapat known sila hindi pseudoanonymous and dapat you are able to see their background.
