1521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: October 27, 2023, 11:37:34 AM
IMO, if you say only a few people show their winnings but in the slot thread you can find out how many people have won from slot games but have you ever seen a slot gambler showing his losses or total losses? I think its very rare because its natural for us as humans to show victory more often than defeat, which is a little embarrassing, but even so, sometimes there are also some who show their victory but also say dont ask about previous losses because there will definitely be more. Grin
In the slot thread, there are lots of people who win and share their winnings and that makes us jealous of the wins they get Grin

Slot players may rarely show their losses but they only say they have lost and some people experience losses that they can accept. And there are also people who, apart from sharing their winnings, also tell the number of their losses so that people know that slot games depend on luck. People need to know that playing gambling can result in many losses apart from wins.

Not only in slot games, but it is also rare to see people share their losses in other games. As len01 said, it is quite normal because sharing what we wins is more fun than sharing our losses. For me myself, I do not like to share my losses too because it will make me remind me about the losses while I always try to forget what I have lost while gambling. What we need to do as reader or viewer of those nice win is to take it wisely as a motivation for us that winning is possible but there is also high risk behind it.
Truth is many gamblers doesn't like to share any losses experience particularly when huge money is involved, they want to remember their wins more than losses, known as selective recall. For some, gambling is a pleasant activity that serves as a distraction to their stress so tendency that once they lose a money, they will keep it to them because they don't want to feel like they're being pity.
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: October 27, 2023, 11:18:12 AM
Here in the Philippines, cockfighting is still popular among the middle- to old-aged; it is still around, and many people still do this stuff, especially men who are also fathers. It is very prominent in the Philippine province, and I'd say it is entertaining to watch this kind of betting because you will choose which chicken you want to bet on. I personally sometimes bet on this kind of game. Even if cockfighting seems like a traditional way of gambling, it still copes by means of social media. Right now, they offer online betting where you can watch the live stream of two chickens fighting. It only shows that this kind of traditional gambling can still be around by utilising the internet. So because of that, many more people bet on this gambling game because it's accessible and easy to play. Just place a bet and wait to see who wins.
Wihout judging, what do you see people getting from that? Do people in generally care that animals are needlessly hurt? Do you? What it was bigger animals? Like monkeys, dogs, cats, cows or elephants? Would it be as entertaining and why?

And still i am not judging but just wondering what their and your motivations are. Do you realize that anmals can't give their consent to being part of it? It's not like they choose to fight. They are in the situation that humans put them in where they can't escape from and it's basically fight or die. I am just interested how some people see this as entertainement, and how their thoughts on this differ to me. To me this is just a sad and cruel way to see that people's empathy doesn't reach to animals.
"Cockfighting" it only involves chicken, and based on this post legalonlinegambling Philippines set up a law which is HB 8910 gives the GAB the ability to completely oversee e-sabong gambling regulation and governance. This will bring the act of online cockfighting out of the back alleys and illegal betting operations and into the limelight of legal gambling in the Philippines. It means even cockfighting is illegal in the past, now they set up a law which will make cockfighting legal just they should follow a certain rules and law. And cockfighting doesn't mean that an animal or the chicken will die, its like a boxing, there are certain grounds that could determine who is the winner. I understand your concern but we can't control this stuff, just like horse racing or such, don't be a hypocrite, you eat meat everyday.

The truth is that the Philippines seems to me to do very strange things, nice, bad, I don't know. Legalizing cockfights is something that is very big, well, but there is something that interests me, how can they control that the animals do not get involved? That is something so inviting, because establishing the winner can leave one with hope that perhaps they could have recovered and won, that is something that intrigues me, I would have to be quite an expert in charge of deciding how or what the criteria are, and what if it's something like that, it's something that draws attention, that boxing thing sounds quite interesting, what happens is that we or well at least I'm used to seeing that a fight of gllso occurs until one of the two Roosters die, and to control games or cockfights in places is very difficult, because anywhere where everything is something hidden or something they can do, the only option is to give them very severe punishments, so in this order of things the authorities would have a very difficult task. big, because I know that this gives a lot of money , Especially to the Organizers.

When we think about doing big things with animals, animal defenders will always come out, maybe sometimes in the Philippines they have that law, and they can do the practice, but I am sure that from other countries they will Start demanding that they repeal that law because it is animal abuse and that is not good for the year or anything like that, so in this order of ideas things when they are caused by animals is delicate, the truth is and I would not say anything until what they are doing, personally I believe that these practices worldwide will be eradicated, they may be very traditional or they may be very indigenous but it will not happen for a long time. I have seen that the way things are with animals is something else, I really wouldn't get involved in that Because it is Something too delicate, I would say that when it comes time to do something like that , I wouldn't want to Participate in any of it until it is completely legal.

It's strange but it has become the tradition here ever since.
And to be clear, cockfighting is both legal and illegal in the Philippines. Vague? Let's clear this out.

Cockfighting was treated the same as basketball, a popular sport in the Philippines. However, it is more of gambling than sport. People spend their time in breeding in terms of cock fights and as a business. Now, why do I say it is legal and illegal at the same time? There's a law in the Philippines (Cockfighting Law of 1974) that cockfighting is considered legal depending on the location where the game is held. (You can view the full description on the internet)

It becomes more popular during the pandemic season. That time, we have what we call E-sabong, an online cockfighting where all bettors can easily add money to their online accounts. E-sabong operates every day, there are more than 100 rounds every single day, and each round has different bets, bettors can win by choosing the rooster they want to place their bet with the options of MERON, WALA, or DRAW.
Yes, that's what I am talking about. As we're living in a modern and technology, This is the latest state of the art version of the Cockfighting- The E-Sabong. This became so popular at the height of the pandemic when people are at home, doing it as their past times, but this activity is ore than an amusement because there's money involved. Gamblers who bet on this game says that it's easier to play and very convenient too, because they don't need to travel to the actual cockfighting pits.
1523  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Education in Financial Literacy on: October 27, 2023, 11:08:23 AM
In my opinion, education doesn't really play a role in carrying out financial literacy, we only get a too general picture about finances, even though I graduated in 2020, I didn't get any lessons or introductions about cryptocurrencies, I don't know about education in other countries but what happened in my country was that education didn't happen. changes over a long period of time.
Financial literacy is not something that is acquired from school,  it is something people can acquire by themselves from the books they read .  School can never teach you how you can make money , school will only educate in a particular career which you yourself you have to think yourself how you can generate money from the knowledge attained. It is rare to get a school where they teach people how to make money,  financial education is mostly acquired by self development. It is very important in the every day life in how to generate money and how money is to be spent.
As a Banking and finance graduate, One of our professor taught us just a little bit background about bitcoin and cryptocurrency because we were focused on the other financial topics. That's right, having an education will helps and educates us in many ways just like having an ability to make a better financial decisions and effective management of money. if you're lack of financial literacy skills, it can be lead to poor spending choices, generational wealth gap and increase debt,. Financial literacy improves financial wellbeing.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will it affect your life if bitcoin price comes to $1 million per bitcoin? on: October 26, 2023, 11:35:47 AM
How will it affect your life if bitcoin price comes to $1 million per bitcoin ?
It will be a good news and many bitcoiners will be millionaires and billionaires. I will be very much glad and smiling because I will use that period to complete my projects and life will change to good. But for bitcoin to reach that is still far. And for now we are predicting the price range to be $70k to $80k based on the previous ATH of 2021.  Though that price of $1 million of bitcoin is achievable but not now. It is a higher expectation for years to come.
Though I don't have much Bitcoin holdings, this will be a piece of great news indeed. Everyone will become a millionaire. If that happens, I am going to build my own business so I can have another major source of income aside from having a full-time job and some investments. If Bitcoin hits the $1M value, it will become a great history in the crypto world. Hoping that this will happen, soon.
1525  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: October 26, 2023, 10:58:57 AM
The issue is prevalent and requires coordination with wives. It is acceptable for monthly income data to be disclosed honestly, as it helps wives understand and manage it. However, additional efforts may be needed to address shortcomings. Being truthful allows family heads to communicate the actual circumstances, as the only group they aim to help is their own family, not others. This approach is preferable as it allows for better communication and understanding.
That's right, having clear communication with your family may help to manage well your income. Both parent should be transparent when it comes to their incomes, expenses, and other things that money may involved in. Communicate with other family members to be more mindful about spending on things that aren't that important, Eliminate some debts, and build a budget that works for you and your partner. Once you determine how much money you have coming in and going out, time to figure out where you can cut back on your expenses like your non-essentials or find a way to increase your income.
1526  Economy / Economics / Re: Things you should know about Money mindset on: October 26, 2023, 10:42:54 AM
You are entirely correct. The true wealth is good health. It's what I've always said. Is there any point if you're not healthy? If you're bedridden, money cannot purchase happiness for you. Wealthy people have enough of money, but it's not everything. And in terms of transferring it? What a great idea! However, and this is crucially important, it goes beyond the numbers. It all comes down to the drive, work ethic, and ideals.

Splitting it equally amongst your kids? Excellent! It's the most equitable approach to maintain peace and steer clear of any needless drama, if you will. Depending on how you use it, money may either be a blessing or a punishment. Thus, it is vital to handle! The key is making wise choices, regardless of whether you're sitting on a gold mine or barely getting by. Invest, diversify, and maintain a broad perspective at all times. Remember constantly that your health comes first, money comes second. That's the recipe for success!

Health is divided into two that is your mental health and your physical health, both of which are very important to support good productivity. If you fail to take care of one of them, then all the wealth you have will be useless. Currently there are many ways on Google that you can learn to maintain your health well, maintain your sleep patterns and eating patterns too, don't be because you are too busy with work or the business you are running, you forget all that, when you fall sick, you Just spend a lot of money that you have accumulated so far, don't take your health lightly.
Indeed, both mental and physical health is important in our life, it’s important to remember that the distinction between the two is less important than we may assume. Our thoughts, moods, and mental state may feel abstract or separate from the physical, but they are all happening as part of our brain activity. It’s well evidenced that poor mental well-being can affect a person’s productivity or cause long-term stress. In addition, If you' are working with a physical ailment such as sickness and vomiting, it ca cause the illness to spread across a work space. Both issues, if not contained, can lead to unproductive days and Unstable state of mind.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: October 26, 2023, 09:50:50 AM
Now let's be sincere, will you also classify a successful gambler as an addict?
For me I think is all depends on there gambling because there are some gambling addicts who are very successful in gambling while there are also so many gambling addicts who does nothing but always lose money on gambling.

But however we tend to disregard the fact that if check thoroughly almost every successful gamblers is an addicts but however most people believes that an addicts can never be a successful gamblers perhaps is true but not all the time, so actually I'm not disputing the fact that there are non addicts gamblers who are successful but what I'm trying to say is that irrespective of an addicts gamblers losing money and selling of there properties to gamble there are also many of them who are very successful because I have seen someone who is an addicts on gambling and lost so many properties because of gambling but he was favoured one day and won a very huge amount of money so after then he became successful.

So in as much as we believe that every successful gamblers are non addicts gamblers perhaps there are also addicts gamblers who are very successful but the only different is that the chances of an addicts to always become successful is lower than the chances of non addicts gamblers.
The mere fact that you've spent most of your money and time in gambling, that's an addiction. Those gamblers that we classify as successful gamblers and addicts too,  though they don't win every day have the means to gamble as much time and money to spend as they want because they are rich. for me, I can say that there's no successful gambler because all of them are experiencing wins and losses. I can call you a successful gambler if you know how to become responsible in your acts, decisions, and limitations.
1528  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: October 26, 2023, 09:31:40 AM
I always sort of thought that if you’re engaging in behavior that you want to keep a secret then you probably shouldn’t be engaging in that behavior. This is especially true with things like gambling. If it isn’t illegal and it isn’t a problem, why wouldn’t you want to share things you enjoy with the people that you care about? Seems suspect.

Sometimes, keeping secrets is not necessarily bad behavior. Keeping secrets will not affect our lives. When we live in an environment where people around us do not like gambling. Gambling openly is not good. As you know, women are troublesome. We cannot share with them the money we lose while gambling. Keeping secrets is necessary in some cases, as long as we know how to control ourselves in this gambling game. Don't let serious consequences happen. When everything comes out, you will be blamed for this secret.
Keeping our gambling activities a secret is not a bad thing, by keeping it a secret we will avoid conversations with people who think that gambling is a bad thing in their opinion. If we live in an environment that doesn't like gambling, of course it would be better for us to keep our gambling activities a secret because if they find out, of course this will become a topic of conversation among people around us and this will make us uncomfortable.

It will work if you do have a good control and proper management of your time and money, keeping yourself away from the eyes of other people will help you not to engage to any forms of bad-mouthing or negative opinions about things that you are involved with, for sure not many are okay with those negative impression, when someone throw negative opinions most of the time a person will be shy and not wanting to broadcast his participation.
based on what you've said, I want to share that I have this kind of mindset that It's better not to let people around you, especially your relative knows that you're into casino or you're participated in any act of gambling because they have the potential to oppose you which leads you to lose your game and to destroy your plans. It's okay to avoid and to keep it from them, especially if you're not asking money on them. Hearing some negative opinions from them about you losing in a gambling will hooked on the idea that gambling can help reinstate any losses incurred, through the process of winning, or simply use the gambling process itself as the great escape from hellish emotion.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 09:04:49 AM

But I want to ask a question. The lady only called off the wedding and continue with the man or she also broke up with the man?

I honestly do not know; she anonymously posted this confession through an account on X (formally twitter) which specializes in giving people the opportunity to confess whatever they are going through and needs advice from other people on what to do. so, the lady shared this because she needed people to advise her on what to do, Majority in the comments did advise her to leave the man, that such a man is not worthy to be married to and called a husband, so whatever be her final decision, I do not know, like I mentioned on the op, I do not know the lady personally.

Should have shared the link to this tweet on X, but unfortunately, i have lost the tweet, i was kind of high on alcohol last night while going through the tweet  Grin, didn't even know I saved the screenshot i shared here; on my phone, i was going through my gallery this morning, saw the shot, then remembered and decided to share the story here.
I conclude that she confronted her partner and their wedding is no longer to happen. If I were her,  I would postpone the wedding and break off the engagement but I also agree with everyone else that this needs to be addressed first before deciding whether to continue the wedding plan or not.. It is very important to know each other's behavior before getting married. There's only one thing that I want to know, Is she aware that her partner is into gambling or not?
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 26, 2023, 08:41:44 AM
In my country gambling is not an illegal activity, I can tell that the gambling industries are doing well and most of the gambling industries are been owned by the government but it is not openly known to some persons.
The only thing that the government is against is an illegal gambling activity or if found in a very bad place and gamble then the otherwise.
Same in our country, Gambling is not considered as an illegal activity however there are some casino companies that are illegal, they are the ones who don't pay the proper taxes and illegal activities such as human trafficking, selling drugs and prostitution are involved not just the gambling itself... Gambling could be seen as morally acceptable if it helps us to develop positive character traits such as self control and discipline. Those People who see gambling as an illicit activity are the one who always look on it's disadvantages. Even the bible doesn't called gambling as a sin
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 08:14:34 AM
Hi guys and ladies, here comes a very sad and heart-breaking story (true life confession) of a young lady who was contributing money (saving money) together with her husband-to-be (fiancée) in preparation for their wedding. The story in quote ..

Quote
My fiancee and I have been making arrangements for wedding, we are both contributing (saving) money because i know about his financial condition, in fact, i will say that i have contributed to about 60% of the total money in our savings, just for him to use nearly all the 5 million naira (approximately $5000) we saved to play betting and when i asked him about it, he said he was trying not to put all the wedding burden on me, that he thought he would be able to double the money.

I am really speechless and confused, and i think it's best for me to call the wedding off, what will i even tell people that already know about our wedding plans? this is the most disgraceful thing that has ever happened to me.

Even though i don't know this young lady in question personally, i felt true pity for her after coming across and reading her confession, i know how important weddings are to women and for the fact that she herself joined the man in saving, and even contributed about 60% of the entire funds they managed to save, shows or showed how committed she was to see that their wedding takes place, but unfortunately, the man gambled the money away, what could be more heart breaking than this?

This is one of the most horrible story I have ever read, Imagine the excitement and effort of the bride to save money for their wedding, she even contributed 60% of the total savings wherein it should be 50-50 or majority of the expenses  supposed to be shouldered by the groom (I know, many of you will disagree on this part but this is my thoughts when it comes to wedding expenses). It's better not to tell it to other family member until she had a serious conversation with her fiancé. I highly suggest her to hold off the wedding until they get these issues sorted out because This is a huge red flag.
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: October 26, 2023, 07:59:40 AM
Chasing loss in gambling is not really good because at the end you might loss everything you have. And that is the mindset of many gamblers. They think the their next game will give them what they have loss from the previous game and they loss out again and bet or play again until everything in the pocket or in the wallet is exhausted before their eyes always open to see and the brain open to understand that they wouldn't used all their money for the gambling or they wouldn't chase the loss. chasing loss is not always a favorable thing to do.
I can remember very well that when I started gambling, I do not have control over my somehow addiction gambling. I noticed that if I lost small amount of money and I continue to gamble, I will lose all. Not that I will continue to lose. I will continue to win and lose randomly but after several games played and gambled, the loss will surpass the profit and before I know, all my money would have been exhausted. Chasing loss is a bad idea and very related to gambling addiction and it can happen to beginners gamblers.
That's a normal feeling for a newbie, They have no control in their spending and all they know is that there's a chances of hitting big prizes when in fact, there's a thing called beginners luck. It can be a fun and exciting activity at first but it also has a potential to become addictive and lead to negative consequences so it is important to educate yourself about the game and risks involved, always be prepare to lose.
1533  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Si Satoshi Nakamoto nga ba ito? on: October 25, 2023, 11:26:22 AM
Hindi din kasi safe na maglantad sa social media si Satoshi, madedetect sya using IP address niya at risky 'yon for his/her safety and privacy.
1534  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [Discussion]Business idea gamit ang Bitcoin on: October 25, 2023, 11:13:22 AM
Bitcoin lending here in the forum can be a good idea, so far ito lang den ang naiisip kong idea to do a business since yung iba is required ng malaking capital and need magfocus ng attention.

Though you can also try to adopt if meron ka nang existing business, the only risk here is the volatility of the price at syempre yung mga uutang.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: October 25, 2023, 10:43:44 AM
As the gambling industry is evolving, I think innovations would have kicked in that can make someone create a career from gambling. I do not know how this can be achieved but I feel it is possible.

Making gambling a full time job might be seen as risky but I still feel one can make gambling full time job and a career.

What do you all think?
Thinking of making playing gambling a full time job is really not a good advice to anyone who may want to venture into such idea as that may lead to an addiction and may equally lead to heavy lost of once money if care is not taking. Get a skills that will help render services and in return you will get paid for your service. Taking playing gambling as a fun will make you enjoy playing gambling, and you may be lucky one day and make huge amount of money from playing gambling but not to take it as a full time job.
your suggestion is very reasonable and I fully support your idea that gambling might give us a big win if we are lucky, but still think of it as just entertainment, not a job to earn a daily income because the risk of losing is much greater than winning ideas like this are very good but too many gamblers ignore this problem so that many gamblers fail to control themselves and become addicted just because they want to earn income from gambling and previously I also gave advice to anyone if they want to earn income from gambling it would be better to bookies or increase talent to become influencers or share referrals and it is more reasonable and safer to earn income from gambling.
Gambling might give us a big chance of winning as well as having a big chance of losing. Considering it as a full time job is a big NO. Making money as a professional gambler is feasible but it is not easy because there are a lot of things that you need to learn and avoid. Others will say that this is their primary source of income but do you think It's right? I mean, It is not a reliable way of earning money, unless you are one of the casino dealers or Influencers/Freelancers who advertise gambling on different social media sites.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: October 25, 2023, 10:19:07 AM
A couple of my friends have a slot game that they play together. This does not affect their relationship, on the contrary, I can say that when they lose, they lose with fun. When they are going to put money on the site, they all put up a capital together and take turns playing. If I give an example, 5 friends and each of them puts 100 dollars. This is 500 dollars in total and they enter the slot game with 500 dollars. Although they don't have an exact figure in their heads, if there is 2000 dollars, they play with the idea that if we take our money and let's split it. When this happens, the loss is everyone's loss and the gain is everyone's gain. There are also methods that do not affect friendships in such a way. Because they know this risk themselves and provide an investment accordingly.
There is no issue about it if they both understand and make fun of gambling. But this is a different story between husband and wife (and family) as usually they have been affected by this. Some family breakups have some common problem and issue which is finance --and one reason is one of the family members has been into gambling addiction which causes financial problems.
If ever our partner doesn't support our gambling habits/addiction, I would say that don't ever attempt to do this because will be the start of family problems and misunderstanding which leads to broken relationships and breakups.
If they have similar views on gambling, it will be easier to understand each other, of course they can gamble simultaneously. Yes, you are right, I have also seen many husband and wife relationships destroyed because a husband does not give the money they earn for their household needs, the husband spends a lot of money on gambling and this will of course lead to separation.

Even if they have similar views about gambling or a partner is both open to gambling, it still could affect their relationship as it affects their lives. I witness many relationships, not just those between husband and wife, but even friendships. Because of gambling, one of your friends could become greedy in terms of money. I remember seeing a topic here in the gambling section where, because of gambling, one of their friends started avoiding them as that friend won a game. Which shows how a person can show his true nature just because of money. Gambling exists and is valuable because of money. Even in gambling, money could become a root cost for many crimes and affect any relationship, but that's reality. We are all hungry for money, and we are all circled around money. As with gambling, gambling could affect many things, even a solid and pure relationship.
Just because you and your partner have the same perspective on gambling, doesn't mean your relationship wouldn't be affected. Same with you, I have seen so many cases of gambling addiction which caused having a broken family, and some of the factors that lead to separation Included the loss of trust, emotional disconnection, and the presence of abuse. It is crucial to address gambling-related issues to protect and preserve relationships, encourage responsible gambling, and ensure that individuals affected by gambling addiction receive the help and support they need.

I suggest to cash out your capital and at least 10% of your profit then keep the remaining amount so it could be used on your next game. do not be greedy, Just set a certain limit on yourself once you win and follow your momentum in playing but once you hit the jackpot prize, You can withdraw it all and then allocate the winning prize to your savings and investment. keep a small portion for your leisure and budget for gambling.
I use this method. I don't do percentages I just see to myself that I would leave this amount of money and use it to gamble some other time while I will draw the remainder. That way even if the one left in the casino wallet doesn't win me more money, I will be at rest knowing that there are no "what ifs".
Yeah, glad that you're doing that kind of method when it comes to gambling, Setting a target profit goal will help you to prevent from getting too greedy and turning your wins into losses. Heading into a casino intoxicated and with no limits on what you are spending might result big losses so you should be extra careful. cashing out takes guts because sometimes you'll make a decent profit or win but the other times, you need to survive to fight another day.

In fact, all the time one of the lottery participants repeats some of the same numbers and their sequences, for example, the date of one’s birth, this can be regarded as superstition.  But many people treat such superstition as a magic number that once was something memorable and significant for them.  And they constantly write the same numbers, believing that the probability of winning again from such a lucky number is higher.  But it is clear that this is not at all the case.

But still, most lottery players, it seems to me, still choose numbers quite randomly.  By the way, it’s interesting how these random numbers come to a person’s head, why are they exactly like that?

When it comes to repeating numbers, I have a real-life experience with that, one of my relatives plays the lottery on a daily basis. Just like what others do, she bet on the same number for almost 20 years I guess? those numbers came from her dream and believes that those are her lucky numbers but she never wins a single penny. I think, winning in the lottery is just pure luck because it doesn't require any gambling experience as long as you have money to buy tickets. Some people pick random numbers based on their birthdays, important dates of events, and based on their instincts.

My father used to play that way too: he had some lucky numbers he always bet on, as they were magical (in fact, one of them was the "magical" one, while others, multiples of it or containing it, were interchangeable). As you very well said, it has to do with superstition.

It makes no logical sense, but we still hear news from time to time about winners who played always the same numbers and eventually won (of course: if they didn't win there would be no news to talk about).
Those winners that we hear in the news are very lucky because having more money means greater financial security. Others might say that money doesn’t create happiness on its own but it allows you to do things that generate life satisfaction like helping others, paying for rewarding experiences, and having higher-quality leisure time. How I wish we win the lottery someday.

If they are newbies, they should avoid trading when starting, they will lose money because they do not have experience and knowledge, investing will be more suitable for them. But if someone has knowledge about the market and wants to try trading, they can also start because it is also one of the methods of making profits in this market.

There are many people who have been making profits from trading, it is not as bad as many people have experienced. So, I find it quite funny that many people don't like trading just because they can't make a profit from it. What's worse is that they are giving advice to others to stay away from trading just because they are not making profits. They think everyone will be like them, LOL.
Actually, if beginners want to trade, that's okay, but they have to learn how to trade properly and correctly. Most beginners rely on information from their friends who often trade, even though that doesn't guarantee they can make a profit.
But if they can learn trading analysis, they can trade according to their abilities and also the more often they learn they can adapt to what is happening in the market.

Those who stay away from trading because they often experience losses should be able to realize that trading is not as easy as they think. They must have good market analysis skills so they can find the coins.
Or if they want to trade bitcoin, they need to be able to know when they can enter and exit the market.
'
I can say that both a good things to do but I don't think trading is beginner-friendly since it requires knowledge and at least minimum experience, I suggest that before you enter trading you should know how to act and how to control intense emotions, you should create a comprehensive trading plan, and lastly never stop learning. Investing in bitcoin usually means buying BTC for long-term holdings while trading is buying and selling the bitcoin in the short term whenever they think a profit can be made. if you want to be successful at trading, you’ll have to put in a significant amount of time and money to acquire the relevant skills, just like any other venture.

Till now my parents are bearing the cost of my education, I have recently completed my college education and my parents wish me to complete my graduation by studying in a private university. We have a small cow farm and we have some cows in this farm out of which some months ago my father sold one cow and deposited about one and a half thousand dollars (I said the value in dollars for everyone's understanding) in the bank for my education. It will take about four to five months to get admission in the university. I didn't plan to do anything with the money I saved for my education but recently the price of bitcoin has increased by about 10 thousand dollars and seeing this increase I think that I should invest in bitcoin now instead of leaving the money in the bank for these four to five months. Although I think it's a bit late for me to invest. Maybe I should have invested when Bitcoin was 26 thousand dollars then maybe I could have made a good profit at this point but there is no point in regretting what I didn't do Of course I will think about the present now. I think the price of bitcoin can cross 40 thousand dollars so investing in bitcoin now will not be a wrong decision for me at all.

Investing your money in bitcoin is risky since we are aware that the value of BTC is unpredictable and unstable, you should carefully review your risk tolerance before you invest. Before you consider Bitcoin as an investment, you should consider carefully your own goals and determine what you want to accomplish. It's better to finish your study first and if you have extra money for BTC then invest it, don't let yourself run out of money. it's better to have savings and investments at the same time, and learn how to diversify.
