Recently, i often see discussion about Bitcoin Bank. More and more people come here and ask about bitcoin bank & surprisingly i see few user agree with this idea.
So, i would like to find out the percentage of user who agreed with this idea.

Honestly, i think this idea is stupid and worst idea that i've seen in my life. What do you think?
p.s. we don't talk about bitcoin debit card OR any centralized service which only ask name and email address.

I think is not stupid idea
bitcoin bank is good, moreover bitcoin bank is real company real bank, you can withdraw fiat money to bitcoin bank office
deposit, withdraw bitcoin only one office, real office, so bitcoin user can seasy exchange bitcoin to fiat money

What is the point of moving to Bitcoin if you will still practice what is being practiced in fiat currency?  As far as I know the reason why we are in Bitcoin is to avoid such third party people.  Bank is evil, they exploited us, using our deposited Money and still you wanted them to exploit us with our Bitcoin?
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver has been compromised on: April 18, 2017, 09:28:30 PM
I read all the comments about roger ver!  And I couldn't agree more! He speak nothing but crap!

Well he is quite popular of being such.  Though I can say he is more experienced than me in terms of Bitcoin but that does not mean Roger Ver is right.  There are more people who are more knowledgeable than him so there are lots of rebuttal on anything he said about Bitcoin.
1683  Economy / Economics / Re: I hate Cryptocurrency on: April 17, 2017, 08:46:17 PM
I don't get it you are also using it and yet you are telling us that you hate cryptocurrency???

Well he stated the reason why he hated it, he first need to learn how to use it know the all arounds of it before hating it.  You cannot hate something you do not know.  You maybe not like what you do not know but definitely will not hate it until you know you will hate it.   Though those reason why he hate is is the reason why I am into cryptocurrency.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If YOU were Satoshi, what would you do now? on: April 12, 2017, 08:04:01 PM
I think I will stay as usual, anonymous. I let the people use these currencies after I created it, I did not accept any confirmations so someone can use my digital currency, it is free. So if the system is habe a problem because of the users being blown up, that is not my problem. That is the core problem.

I am totally opposite to that. I will surely come to the media and announce as i am the owner of this great invention and will be more than popular than anybody. Everybody needs money and fame and this is satoshi best time to be the most popular person of the world.

if you show up and introduce yourself then bitcoin will be centered as you will be offered positions by all countries to be the center of bitcoin. You will not make any difference with Bill Gates or steve jobs, there will always be a reason to make it a commercial bitcoin after you introduce yourself.

That is quite true! Knowing the real founder of bitcoin will affect the bitcoin as a whole. Every opinion you make about bitcoin will affect bitcoin. If your opinion about the fork is positive then there is a great possibility that the fork will happen (that was an example only about your opinion will affect bitcoin). Thus, the decentralization of bitcoin will be eliminated since the king of bitcoin exposed himself.

So you were saying having Satoshi around will kill decentralization?  I don't think so, if ever he will come out and decide something on the political war, I think he will choose to be neutral.  Then still seeking the power of consensus whenever he have a proposal on Bitcoin upgrade.  Aside from that, developer who work hard for decentralization will do their best to preserve it.

@Sven @Craiz

Where are you these past days? It's almost a week now. Are you saying that all updates must be included in the thread title? Don't blame IOC if you missed the update. It's clear to my last post prior to the official announcement that I need some message for the owner first.

You guys just proved that you are just here in the community to make a paid post rather than joining the discussion at your own will. The campaign only required 20 post a week and yet you can't visit the campaign thread to check updates?

Hero Member and Senior Member. Cool

Funny how people have rights to whine when it is their responsibility to keep themselves updated.  I sent a message to goinmerry that I ranked up the same day he posted that the campaign is paused, so there is no need for him to adjust the spreadsheet. Any I will keep the signature until I found another worthy campaign to join in Smiley  Thank you for the opportunity to work with you guys.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: March 30, 2017, 06:30:30 PM
Some says bitcoin not worth it to learn, to risks for money but I think they said its not worth because they are not ready to learn and not ready to earn in this kind of digital currency. However, bitcoin really worth my effort, my dedication to spend time becasue through this I earned money well.

Maybe those people that are saying that bitcoin isn't worth to learn are the ones that has a bad experience with bitcoin.

Maybe they knew bitcoin already and tried to invest into but they invested into a wrong site which is a ponzi scheme and ended up scammed.

But for me, bitcoin is a real deal and it's very worth it to all of us. If you are unemployed you can have a lot of opportunities in it.

It will just depend on how hard working you are.

Probably they are cynical enough and think that Bitcoin is one big Ponzi scheme (though it is not) because of the scenario where people took profit from the incoming investors and sell their coins higher than what they bought it.  Another thing is that these people rely on the decision of their country so more probably their country does not recognize Bitcoin and so they follow it.
1688  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Send Bitcoins Without Fees [No Miner Fees] on: March 28, 2017, 05:06:20 PM
The information that you have posted is not new at all. And I am sure this would have been discussed before. Yes people are frustrated with the fees and yes xapo is a way to save on the fees. But if both the parties are coin base users, then there is no fees for the same. I wonder are you writing your xapo address so that some one reads this article and sends you money in Bitcoin cause you have written about xapo not taking fees. Good luck with that.

There are lots of exchanges not only xapo that shoulder the transaction fee.  And indeed this is not news at all.  Even some gambling site shoulder the transaction fee which I can name, FortuneJack, as one of them.  With the free transaction fee came the risk because in Xapo you are not holding the private key to your Bitcoin address, same with other online wallet out there.
1689  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: March 26, 2017, 10:56:30 PM
In my opinion , mining bitcoins at this scenario is really profitable. Day by day , its price is increasing. I dont have much capital with me. Otherwise I would have tried mining bitcoins. Trading bitcoins is also profitable. But I think bitcoin mining is more profitable compared to trading bitcoins.
Mining bitcoins not only requires money, it also requires very cheap electricity and it requires experience, if you really want to try mining then it could be better for you to try to mine altcoins first and see if you are profitable there.

The difference between the two is that in mining, if you already have the materials and had set it up, Bitcoin will continue to flow to your pocket, though it is not as high return as Trading, it is more safe than trading (assuming the electricity is cheap in your place).  In trading, you need to study the market and have a decent fund to acquire a good profit from trade.
1690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: March 26, 2017, 10:29:52 PM
I do not place all my fund into Bitcoin.  I have a habit of diverting my funds to different investment/market since I believe not to put all my eggs in one basket.  It is quite need an extra effort but we can be assure that if something wrong with Bitcoin, it won't eat all our funds.
1691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: March 26, 2017, 10:02:57 PM
almost like gold holding bitcoin is a profitable investment because the predicted value will further increase annually just don't panic when its value fell even at the moment used to rebuy bitcoin because most likely the higher value will

I agree, we can look back at the history of Bitcoin.  Those who bought at less than a dollar and hold had been a millionaire when price of Bitcoin goes up 100,000% + times.  And considering Bitcoin market is still young, adoption is still young and market has not been saturated, we really can be sure that Bitcoin will go up in the future.  So holding it till that time come will certainly give us a good profit.
1692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: March 26, 2017, 09:14:21 PM
Next stop: MOON  Grin

Yes we will see 2k next month I believe I hodl my coin HODL now so we can all profit

Any basis or reference? Or you are just saying something random?  People are afraid of the upcoming fork so if ever BU is successful, we can see a steep decline in price.  And this HF won't happen in an instance.  So basically a month after, maybe we can still see Bitcoin at three digit price.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do miners really think destroying Bitcoin will make them rich? on: March 26, 2017, 08:34:43 PM
I don't think they really care about bitcoin's future as in bitcoin in isolation. Delaying SegWit & LN means they're currently getting much bigger fees than before i.e. better profits which is what they're bothered about.

You cannot blame the miner, implementing segwit and LN will definitely cut their profit.  The first reaction of person should be protect their interest. Though as I read segwit and LN explanation, they are only for micro payment, I think it is somewhere around 0.042 BTC and larger than that can't be handled by LN by now but the possibility of increasing that is very possible, besides it is just a code.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ANY STRATEGY TO WIN IN GAMBLING? on: March 25, 2017, 11:38:29 PM
hello guys,
is there any proven strategy to win at least $5 daily?
NO martingale rule please.
Martingale is not good for those who play gambling for small time you can't use martingale when you are gambling money for only 2$ or up this can result you lose money try a good strategy for gambling where is easy to doubled bank rol in minute bustabit or dice game a good settings can do it buddy don't lose hope.
You have a point martingale will never work if you have a small bankroll you should invest more in order to see the maximum potencial if you can make large amount profit with your own setup of martingale..
Martingales is strategy but it is not 100% can gives you a good profit if you are not satisfied what you had and you are greedy you will just lose what your profit. So this method is useless if you are not satisfied if you win a profit, ,

I think martingale is a method / system , I do not know if you think method/system and strategy are the same.  For me they are different.  Strategy is combination of method with personal input regarding the timing and what to use together with the timely quitting to book a profit.  Martingale is really not good for a long run when you are playing in a Casino with high house edge.  You will only see you bankroll being eaten due to the house edge kicking in.
1695  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shall we hold bitcoin for now ...wil price rise in future on: March 25, 2017, 11:27:02 PM
Yes 1200$ was way too high but atlast 1100 $ is also gud enough . Let see

Just you wait for Bitcoin to scale and tell that line again Smiley.  The recent dump of Bitcoin is all conspiracy.   See how even the exchanges take part of this FUD.  Does someone really short that big before the  ETH rejection that they need a conspiracy of many exchanges to FUD Bitcoin?  The heck even Bitfinex is selling IOU tokens of both Bitcoin Unlimited  and Bitcoin Core to make it more appealing and create an illusion that their statement are really gonna happen.
1696  Economy / Speculation / Re: So you decide to sell now that Bitcoin is < $1000? on: March 25, 2017, 11:11:45 PM
Doesn't make sense....  Huh

I agree with you, it does not make sense selling at a lost.  Aside from that Bitcoin had proven itself the capability to recover.  History proved it.  Just look at the 2013 bubble and 2014 burst.  It goes down to sub 200 but then goes on a rally for almost two years to beat its ATH.  So I guess it would make sense if we decide to buy more, now that Bitcoin is <$1000.
1697  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 25, 2017, 10:59:38 PM
I honestly don't think it'll happen, certainly not in 15 years... In 100 years maybe?
Lol, how did you say that? and how did you know that after 100 years bitcoin will replace dollar. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow, but there is a possibility to be happen that bitcoin can replace dollar depending on how the people around the world will adopt bitcoins.
Agree i dont think is happen. But no one knows what happen in the future what if bitcoin price collapse do you think bitcoin replaced dollars ? For sure no .  Bitcoin price is how many people in the world use bitcoin if many people are use bitcoin i think the price will pump more and more and that time it will now replaced dollars but the government will dissagree.

Aside from that the scalability issue will also play a major part why Bitcoin cannot replace dollar.  Even if the government think that it is possible to accept Bitcoin as main currency(assuming), they will be turned off to the scalability issue of Bitcoin that creates lots of unconfirmed transaction.
1698  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: March 25, 2017, 10:48:36 PM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?
In the past all of the users of bitcoin became millionaires with investing their money in bitcoin and as we know that the price of bitcoin will increase more higher in the future and as we know bitcoin is a legit currency so people will continue to invest in it and will earn from their investment.

This era of bitcoin had passed, train had already left for the free riders.  Unless you have a huge fund, you can never be rich with Bitcoin if you are only to hold it and wait and your initial capital is not that big.  We need to take advantage of the altcoin market.  there are several parked trains in there but we must be careful because we do not know where those train will go.  So we need to research these altcoins and hopefully we can pick the one going beyond the moon.
1699  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: March 25, 2017, 10:41:22 PM
With the current dip in price of Bitcoin, and lots of FUD roaming around the community, the endless debates of developers, today is uncertainty for Bitcoin and most will sell their coins.  If you still believe that Bitcoin will surpass this trial then now is the best way to invest in Bitcoin.  After a dip, there is no other way but to go up again.  That is Bitcoin.
1700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: March 24, 2017, 07:15:56 PM
I have been trying to tell that also to my friends and my facebook bitcoin group. But it seems like it is not working.
They are really panicking as to where that price will come. I told them it will go back. It is just the hype of that war of BU and Segwit that makes some user thinks about their investment.
But I think even if bitcoin go down BU and Segwit is still in the field of bitcoin so they would have to accept our coin.
Thanks to the who cleared this out for me.

Those who are investing because of greed will surely panick when they see the price dropping.  There is no use to keep on repeating yourself to those group when you have told them already.  Just let them panic sell.  It is their lost not yours.  When the price of BTC bounce back, tell those who sold their BTC at the current dip that you told them so  Grin
