1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strict rules in Bounties, is it needed? on: December 02, 2018, 06:26:43 AM
Rules are being implemented because there are circumstances that need to be solved or corrected. Bounty Managers just wanted to ensure everyone that stakes or tokens will be distributed fairly for those people who are working really hard for that money and not by stealing identity as well as other person's work just for their personal gain. Let us be professional on doing our tasks.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking about sell? Or invest more? on: December 02, 2018, 05:54:00 AM
No, instead of sitting down with family and just watching crypto market without doing nothing, i strongly advice believers and rich folks to buy at the lowest dip, seriously now is the right time to buy because i can see light at the end of the tunnel, market will bounce back again
Well, I agree with you at some point. Buying now on its lower price or we can say at its lowest price is a good strategy to gain bigger profit. But we must be careful about choosing coins to buy, I guess we need to do some research on selecting the good ones. And about spending time with your family, you can do that also having quality time with your family especially for those individuals who are so busy these past few years when the market was so active. The family still is the first priority.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King Russia Introduces The "Whoppercoin" on: December 02, 2018, 05:42:51 AM
If company start creating their own cryptocurrency, i am believe this is will be good from cryptocurrency space. More development and adoption will increasing confident and people will have knowledge about cryptocurrency.
I agree with you. This is just a proof that everything is doable and applicable to crypto. If it can be implemented whether it is a loyalty coin, it only proves that all the company is looking up to something that is futuristic as it may seem but feasible in a real-world setting. Though many companies are really studying about Blockchain Technology then I think Crypto will also make it through.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of Investing in an ICO on: December 02, 2018, 05:31:52 AM
Aside from discounted rates when purchasing tokens before public launching, what else can a potential investor benefit from investing in an initial coin offering?
What do they do when the coin comes to a crash when it goes public? How do these companies protect the interests of their investors?
Investing in an ICO really have more benefits to offer aside from getting discounts, certainly with the successful ICO, you will have great profit and will gain more if the prices went up. Find also an ICO Project that will buy back if ever the prices get deeper after being launched, I guess this is the best assurance that an investor can have.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: December 01, 2018, 12:19:35 AM
Hi Everyone,

As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

If you want a long-term and safer investment so you should invest your money to top-ranked coins because it is proven that they are not a scam or anything. The stability of the coin is due to their reputation and usage. But when you are considering to invest and get some kind of big profit but with a very high risk is to invest in those coins that are not well known and newly created. You can buy them on a very cheap price but if the project involving this token or coins successful, the value will be greater and you will definitely get a greater value for your coins on a shorter period of time.
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 are the new hope for us? on: November 28, 2018, 10:32:49 PM
Making forecasts and predictions are not bad. But I don't think that it is reliable unless you show us some proof of reliable information. Even technical analysis don't show us assurance that all things that was determined will happen. I think this is a safe guess because we are just about to enter 2019 then you have prediction for 2020.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no more hope in cryptocurrency on: November 25, 2018, 04:40:55 PM
When you win, you don't quit and when you quit, you don't win. I think this is just a simple analogy on how we will treat something in Cryptocurrency. Fainthearted people are quitters and those who patiently wait will win in this battle. Who are you are you among these people? Well, I have decided to stay, never lose hope because someone does.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto careers? on: November 25, 2018, 06:12:41 AM
Hi All,
I was thinking of starting a career in blockchain projects either as a core developer or a DAPP developer.
But looking at the recent slump and disappearing ICO market, I am having doubts.
Please advise me. Thanks so much.
Blockchain Technology is quite broad and not only applicable to ICOs or Cryptocurrencies. This technology was already used on different applications to every industry. I think you have to start part-time to test the waters. What can I say is that we are in need of reliable Blockchain Technology Developer which is really needed on the different legit project. We are more than pleased to welcome you and support you on your new chosen field.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters being trapped on: November 24, 2018, 08:19:39 AM
I have observed that most bounty campaigns nowadays are not complying with their tagret end date. No problem with extend the campaign but man, these projects are now imposing hunters to not remove their signature until the end of the campaign. This prevents participants from leaving the campaign. Poor participants cannot break free from this and to look for other productive campaign. They have no choice but get stuck and post for these companies. Did you have the same experience? or Do you observe the same pattern? please enlighten me.
I think what we need is to be very careful in choosing bounties to join. Sometime inevitable things happen because of the bearish situation of the market. Well as for me, it is us who can decide if we will follow the rules but we need to face the consequences of not following it. Prevention is better than cure. We will just wait until the market becomes strong again.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto a danger or an opportunity? on: November 21, 2018, 09:27:51 PM
It is all up to you. When you see it as an opportunity then you will do things that are right to reach and acquires its maximum potential. If you see it as a danger, then your fear will grow and every opportunity that was supposed to be yours will be gone forever. As for me, I will definitely consider crypto as a great opportunity not only for me, but also for my family and my friends.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your Goals in regards to cryptocurrency? on: November 21, 2018, 12:01:26 AM

I’m very curious about these things I would love to know what everyone hopes to achieve, what goals they have that keep them involved and interested, what you hope to accomplish or see be accomplished!

1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happens to the other cryptocurrencies if the Bitcoin goes to $ 2,000? on: November 17, 2018, 04:00:58 PM
If Bitcoin drops to $ 2000 it will not stay at this level for a long time. I am sure that as soon as he touches this mark, people will immediately begin to buy it back on a huge scale. so I think it will not affect on the ICO
I agree with you. Some investors buy it now because it is a lower price than before, what if it reaches $2000 dollars? The only direction it will take it to rise up again, even I, will invest more if that will happen. It will be the biggest profit I think that we will have if we do that.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you feel when you found out it was a SCAM? on: November 16, 2018, 08:17:11 PM
A friend of mine recently joined a bounty project and wore their signature for good four month making 15+ post every week and accumulating his require stake for the week for the entire bounty project. Just at the close of the last week of the bounty campaign he found out that the project was a scam. Ever since then, he feels very awful and despairs bounty projects.
Today, i was hoping you could share your feelings about your experience with scam bounty projects. You might want to leave behind words of motivation for my buddy to ginger him back into the business of bounty work.
FELT BAD but needs toMOVE FORWARD.
I know some of the people here may not agree but somehow we need to be more careful next time. Yes, it is the scammers' fault but we still have our fair share of fault on this. Some of us just join the project and didn't bother to do a background check or investigation if it is a legit bounty project. Since we have our own inequities, then I may say that we need to face the fact that we have been scammed and we should move forward. Learn from it and be more vigilant next time.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: November 16, 2018, 07:59:59 PM
As we can see, the market has not yet recovered yet but the good thing is that we are all still here. It only shows that there are still ways to generate income and produce a profit. Well, as for me, this is a good time for sharpening our weapons and when the right time comes and the great blessing will be there, we can handle it more properly and wisely.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be contented with what you have on: November 15, 2018, 08:12:09 PM
Slow and steady they say wins the race. Do not be in a haste to make it big in the crypto world. There is never a shortcut to success. Be contented with whatever you gain at every point in time.
Do not look down on yourself because you see others make it big. A drop of water makes a mighty ocean.
Your gain might seem to be small today.
Your portfolio might not look so big.
Just in a moment and with little more patience, your portfolio will see the brightest light and be filled above your imaginations.
This is a very good post and very timely I think to encourage everyone. Cryptocurrency is all about patience and positive in every way. While we are seeing so many negative posts about how the market goes down and asking if it is the end of Cryptocurrency, I think we need some posts like this. What we need to do is to make this season a learning season which we should learn things while we hodl our hard-earned tokens and make it more profitable.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much it is possible to earn on bounty? on: November 14, 2018, 11:24:42 PM
Hey guys, what do you think? How much is it possibly to earn in bounty? How much did you earn this year? I heard in 2018 situation with bounty is bad ;(
Earning is not quite good right now in the year 2018 compared to 2017 when it terms of Bounty. Well, I guess it is because of the value of the altcoins as well as Bitcoin. This is the right time to do and learn something else aside from joining the bounty. Trading is a good idea because when you buy right now when you have chosen the right coin or token, you will have the greater possibility to earn more in the near future.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: November 11, 2018, 05:50:13 PM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
If you are referring to the reliability of the ICO rating platform, I guess you are right about the biased thing but we have to consider that not all rating sites can be bought. It is our duty to identify which is more reliable than the other. ICO ratings are some kind of publicity and exposure like reviews. Good or bad, still a publicity so we have to consider that investors look after for those ICO that are well-known and have the greater probability to be successful.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The path may be rough on: November 10, 2018, 11:45:31 PM
The journey to making it big in the crypto space most times might not be smooth. Even virtually every success in life is not always on a bed of roses. There are challenges we need to overcome. There are times we gain and sometimes we loose. See these as just what you need to pass through and do not be perturbed.
Every experience has its lessons and blessings.
-Even if you have been scammed, get your lessons from it.
-If you lost your money in the cause of trading, try to know what made you to lose.
-If you made a wrong choice of ICO, know what lead to it.
-If your predictions never worked out well, consider the factors.
These and some other things are what make the crypto experience interesting.

Though, the path may be rough, you will surely get there.
I will sum up all that you have said into two words.

MOVE FORWARD

No matter how hard it is and no matter how painful it is to do things that offer no certainty, we are learning from it and we apply that learnings to be a better person. On our journey with crypto, we must learn to wait and to be patient. Time will come and we will sow whatever we reaped.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: November 10, 2018, 11:23:11 PM
I wanted to participate in the Iagon pre-sale.  I joined what I thought was the official Iagon telegram.  Turned out it wasn't.  I followed the instructions on the pinned message, which directed me to send ETH to a specified wallet address.  Turned out it was all a scam, and I lost 5 ETH.

Really sucks.  The lesson is be careful out there.
We really appreciate the fact that you are sharing your experience just to give us a warning. We are really sad for your loss and we are really furious to those scammers that have taken your hard-earned money. Well, I think we really have that something to learned in life, whether it is small or as big as this. What I can only say is that, be very careful next time. I still believe that if something was lost, something will come back to us, a better one.
1180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: November 10, 2018, 11:01:03 PM
It is surprising that this thread is still up and moving. Well, It is not that I am not interested in the great "Satoshi Nakamoto" but I think he is just securing himself from anything that will harm his/their family. I am really sure that he/they is/are quite wealthy right now and they are enjoying what they have. Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? That is a question that I am not sure if it will be answered in the near future or not. If that happens, I will just thank him for this great discovery and invention about Blockchain Technology, Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency.
