1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who can tell that when our luck come to us? on: February 25, 2017, 12:43:20 PM
Winning streak and losing streak is the most important thing to tell us the luck is coming or not.

I think losing and winning streak just tell you statistics on the possible chance you will win on the next roll or bet.  There is no luck only chance pr possibility as defined by science or and mathematics.
1762  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin break its own record !! on: February 25, 2017, 11:40:26 AM
since $1200/btc was the maximum price for the bitcoin in the history but now it is above of 1200 which is $1205/btc .
What do you think guys , what are probability of increase more from above of of 1200$ .
If this price growth is natural probably market will be strong enough to support the current price, but I doubt it.  I also think that this sudden increase is a bubble created by the ETF hype which can burst anytime if ever ETF is not approved.  The probability of Bitcoin  to increase more depends on the approval of ETF.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: February 25, 2017, 11:28:48 AM
Obviously I have not own 1 BTC but I am trying my best to collect 1 BTC, by buying Bitcoin from our local exchange and doing some faucet (which I stopped since I realized it is a waste of time).
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: February 25, 2017, 06:45:56 AM
If the price is so cheap why are you yelling at us to buy it at that price, why don't you buy it since you think it is very cheap.  Ironic? No?  Or maybe those are your sell wall and wanting us to buy it so that you guys can exit with a profit.  I saw ICOBID at less than 30 satoshi and make sense if you sell it at 40 to 50 plus satoshi.

1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]FREEDOMCOIN - Yobit on: February 25, 2017, 06:13:11 AM
Wallet is in maintanace on the only exchange where you can trade it (Yobit) so I would not go near it. (meaning you cant transfer coins in/out)
Dev has not been seens in months.. Its dead.

Yobit wallet maintenance simply means, an upcoming pump is possible to happen, I might be wrong on this but talking about yobit and its reputation as an exchange of severely pumped altcoins, there is a bigger chance that this thing will happen.  And the fact that Placebo is the one running this coin, gives it a more possibility but again, I will say that it is only a possibility not a fact.

edit: seems pump had already done or ended.
1766  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: February 25, 2017, 06:00:22 AM
To the OPs post, there is no way that bitcoin will ever replace dollar or any stronger fiat, maybe some currency in a country that's hit by inflation. Tho, I don't think that bitcoin will ever become a currency as we know them, it's will probably remain as a secondary option next  to fiat.
That’s not the way you are talking that bitcoin cannot compete with dollar in anytime in the future.

If you come across the growth rate of bitcoin growth rate, then you will come know that bitcoin compete many such concurrency about which we can’t imagine before may be in future and according to bitcoin growth rate they may be compete with the price of dollar due to day by day increasing number of investor on it and trading growth on it.

Bitcoin is uncontrollable currency. I think it will take some time but near in future it will compete with dollar may be. Currently outnumbering gold's prices by reaching its ATH prices, soon it will $2000 levels. People's interest on bitcoin will be more than enough to make dollars as less used.

Still this does not prove that Bitcoin will replace dollar.  It will never replace the dollar for the same reason that you have stated.  Government always want everything to be under their control.  And beside, the distribution model of Bitcoin is not favorable by the government idea of centralized distribution.
1767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not dead yet but should be. on: February 25, 2017, 05:50:33 AM
I just wasted 3 minutes reading that crappy article.  Grin

Quote
Bitcoin Refuses to Just Die Already
Such an ugly title. Content is worthless. Nothing but a deliberate attempt by author to grab attention by intentionally using a sensational title.
It's all just, "according to blah blah blah", "blah blah reported", and then some unnamed "financial experts blah blah blah".

Just another trashy 'news site'.  Shocked

Probably the writer of the article is a supporter of an altcoin and wanted to promote it by starting on spreading FUD to Bitcoin.  But somehow at the current state of Bitcoin, writer have point though it is a biased comparison when a robust transaction is compared to a minimal one.  As long as developer is working and keep on thinking for the possible upgrades that fit in a present and future scenario, Bitcoin will never die, let alone the miner that is supporting the network.
1768  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: February 24, 2017, 04:54:10 AM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?
No, you don't necessarily need insider info to be a successful trader, but it helps, a lot. Wink
Trading is not about guessing, of course you can do that too, but don't forget that we have market indicators, news and expectations.
You said it - you need to be educated - and when you are educated enough you will have higher chance of making good trading decisions.

Indeed with this indicators we can tell the possible trend of the market.  Having facts and information to guide us to predict precisely what will happen next is not an educated guess in my opinion.
1769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I failed to make a fortune as an early bitcoin adopter? on: February 24, 2017, 04:37:00 AM
Do you want us to pity you OP? You haven't made a fortune, but you made money. You haven't said how much, but I expect working in that big Chinese company has brought you significant profits. You're probably dreaming of becoming a bitcoin millionaire, but if everyone could easily become one we'd be living in a world full of millionaires, dreaming of becoming multimillionaires.

Lol if you only read the article, it was not the OP but rather he shared a story about a person who invested much in Bitcoin when it was at a very low price, have an insight that it will increase 10x in price but failed to earn from it. This somehow tell us some lesson as what was posted earlier than this comment.
1770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RES] RESPECTONOMY -A Decentralized Social Network - ICO Launching 6th FEB- on: February 23, 2017, 09:26:55 PM
I wonder why these devs are silenced and not defending anymore Huh  Does this mean that they admit that this project is a scam one?  Just to get money and run afterward?  They should have at least show proof that they are not here to scam .  Silence just mean yes to the accusation LOL.
1771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Surpass All-Time High While We Wait for the ETF? on: February 23, 2017, 09:13:47 PM
Bitcoin is currently at $1162  at the time of this post, I think Bitcoin will surpass the all time high price soon.  This news about ETF is surely making the Bitcoin Bull charged, something like Bull in a steroid LOL.  Hopefully people who jump in this price won't get burn and the ETF be approved.

it's already surpass no?

Yes it already surpassed it a minute after my post I guess Smiley  Grats to the bulls, ATH broken now, they are setting for the new ATH now Smiley

Yeah!!! This is the best year for me since i bought a lot of cheap bitcoins last year and i can't imagine that the price will surpass its ATH and now we are creating another type of price history and i'm sure that we are all enjoying it Grin.

I'd be careful.  This whole thing seems fishy; hitting an all time high while the network is being stressed?

There is a reason and the current hype of Bitcoin is the upcoming ETF decision.  I will not remove the possibility of the bull trap but well those who bought at cheaper price can sell their Bitcoin before it hits bottom if things went out of hand Smiley
1772  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin Costs 2000$ on: February 23, 2017, 06:27:01 AM
I want to believe that 1 Bitcoin will reach $2000 this year.  More probably at the end of 2017.  There are more people who are coming and joining the bitcoin economy.  The ETF will boost this and whether it is approved or not, it is irrelevant because Bitcoin certainly will reach $2000 in due time.
1773  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: February 23, 2017, 06:19:33 AM
There is no reason why I should not believe in fiat.  It is what I am using whenever I have to buy an items.  It is used to pay for service and it is the payment for my day job.  If I don't believe in it, I might as well not buy items that only accept fiat currency, not pay my bills and not retire with my job.  So what will happen to me then?  Whether we like it or not money makes the world go round.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy and Lost in GAMBLE on: February 23, 2017, 06:09:14 AM
Hello   Smiley

I was wondering if you have any strategy when betting and what's your biggest lost

Cheers !

Martingale on roulette has been my biggest weapon but even with that I have my limits and if I reach that limit I quit and accept my fate as a loss for the day. What I do is to double up my money anytime I lose a bet, I will keep doubling until I win to recover all my list bet and I do bet on the colors of the roulette whether black or red category. I once lost an equivalent of 230$ and that had been my biggest lost  so far.

At least if you reached your bankroll limit you quit and not deposit again.  Others have the habit of putting more fund in the bankroll whenever it got emptied. I once gamble and never set  a limit and my luck just left me and lost continuously.  That was the biggest lost I had, around 0.3 in BTC equivalent.  And I never repeat that approach lol.
1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Will Spike Over 65% After Winkelvoss ETF on: February 23, 2017, 05:52:48 AM
I agree that with the approval of Winkelvoss ETF,   this signals other investors to hop in to Bitcoin.  Reason is that, the fears and doubt about bitcoin will be gone since it is clear that bitcoin is somehow recognized by legal entities.  With this the price of Bitcoin will spike due to the fresh funds from these people.
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: February 23, 2017, 05:40:48 AM
I heard bitcoin from a friend.  He was boasting it that he can do transaction even without using his bank account.  So I got curious and check what it is.  He then told me about Bitcoin and along the explanation and refer this forum for more information.  So being curious i browsed this forum and by then I known that there is more than just currency in Bitcoin.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 17, 2017, 08:05:49 PM
Both saving money and investment are good, depend on your skill in business or finance handling, if you have talent for business investment is better than saving money. But if you have no knowledge on how to run a business then savings suits you.
1778  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: February 17, 2017, 07:16:56 PM
God is Real The chances of all of this complex universe happening without the existence of an involved God who cares about his creation are less than a million billion to one. It is kind of lame to believe in chance when the odds are that low. I don't even bother to play the lottery because a million to one is too low. It's much easier to believe in God than to believe the one in one million billion chance that He does not exist and care about what He made.

Im not sure where you get your odds from but if laziness due being easier not seeking out real answers is the reason you choose to believe in your overlord then so be it. You have to ask though, if your God or gods are real then where did they come from? Whats the odds of your gods just having existed for all time? Pretty slim id say. And had your god existed for all this time then he/she would have already created and destroyed millions of human civilisations and hes not bored yet?

God is rejected, and yet the perspective of the anti theist, that the universe originated on its own, without any purpose or design. And with life and intelligence arising from non life and non intelligence, by chance or billions of lucky miracles could not be more impossible or ludicrous.

I just wanted to know where does man came from (talking about the first man and woman), if it is indeed proven by science not just any theories or whatever,  I will throw away my belief that God exist Smiley
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin needs to fix their transaction times - looks like i will lose money beca on: February 10, 2017, 06:55:45 PM
How can you be Sr. Member on this forum and not know how basic bitcoin transaction work?  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Probably hee pays more attention in other things than the technical issue of Bitcoin. Simple as that. Smiley

Anyway I got some question here, a friend of mine send a transaction to an exchange using electrum wallet, it was acknowledge that there is an incoming amount of bitcoin to his account but it is almost 3 days and blockchain.info just pruned the transaction and rejected it and  yet the balance does not come back to his wallet.  What is the possible solution to this?
1780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Love Fast BTC today! on: February 09, 2017, 09:14:14 PM
There is time when Bitcoin transaction is fast and there are times it is not.  But one thing I noticed, transaction sent in electrum  wallet confirms faster.  This maybe because of the dynamic fee option where we can send bitcoin without worrying the fee since it adjust to the latest minimum fee to make our transaction confirmed faster.
