1581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Copy-Paste Virus For Bitcoin Users -- Beware!!! on: May 31, 2017, 04:42:09 PM
This is the first time I heard of that.  It is good to have you posted about the virus here in the forum.  This way we will be aware that there is a possibility that the bitcoin address will be changed if we our machine is infected by that virus.  How can we remove this virus if we are infected btw?
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 31, 2017, 04:20:57 PM
Right now we are stable at 26k sats. Not bad, because all alts in market are dropping. I hope it get back again to $1 again. Creditbit is very promising crypto. I voted for credibit to add it on bittrex. So i hope they add it. So it will boost its popularity. Devs should keep adding more updates.

I hope that it get back to its peak price or even breaking its ATH this coming days.  I believe that the devs are really great and they will deliver all the projects as planned.  Let us support CRB to be added to bittrex because once it is added in there, whales and big investors will notice this token.
1583  Economy / Speculation / Re: IF eth takes over from BTC will BTC then face a relative colapse? on: May 31, 2017, 11:45:09 AM
Bitcoin is and will always be the main coin...

Depends what you mean by "main coin".

When it comes to "market cap" it's now so obvious Ethereum is going to surpass Bitcoin it's just not funny any more.

Market Cap  Grin  This will show how flawed is that to describe about dominance.  I do agree ETH is gaining its ground but it is still early to say it will take over BTC.  And how many million is ETH again?  And what are its uses?  Educate me because I think I am noob about ETH usage.
1584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tomorrow 31th May (Japan time) will open internet giant GMO Btc trading platform on: May 31, 2017, 09:54:19 AM
Will this affects price?

GMO is a Japanese trading platform for Forex, Equities, Stocks and now Bitcoin, it is insured for hacker attacks and regulated by Japanese Financial Services Agency

This is a good news for Bitcoin community .  Definitely this will have an effect to bitcoin price.  I believe we can see an increase in price right after this big exchange opened.  The reason is that there will be new user and adopter of bitcoin that will flock in to this exchange. Aside from that I am sure this big exchange have marketing and promotional strategy to entice new to bitcoin to open up and get involved in bitcoin trading.
1585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: May 30, 2017, 06:21:16 PM
I would say that one small investment would be a waste of time money and energy. Several small investments would be considered by some to be a wise strategy. I would recommend in this case not to choose a Bitcoin casino as the profit margins are more or less consistent. I would suggest putting several small investments twits a market that has potential for growth.
Not sure it is really wasting time since there is still benefit to make it as a training session.
To learn something before you have to go bigger amount.
Or maybe you can put small amount on high risk to get big in return right?
Both are i think has a good benefits if you go in small invest and you are betting for a large profit maybe you can gain a good amount with small amount and low risk. small investment is always work on trading if you buy them for a cheap price that can start growing and sell them with high price. well i think its a part of the experience when you are losing experience in the first time..  so investing small amount is part as a starter test..

I agree.  It is also a good way winning huge amount of money in gambling.  Sometimes small investment when bet and hit jackpot can give us a huge earning.  But as you said I agree that small investment serve as testing capital if a certain investment will work out or not.
1586  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang Sekreto sa Trading on: May 30, 2017, 05:11:03 PM

1587  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-24]Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million in 5-10 Years, Says PayPal Director on: May 30, 2017, 02:40:12 PM
Even with halving and global adoption, I do not think Bitcoin will reach $1m at the end of one decade.  It is quite exaggerated in my opinion because at this point bitcoin only reached $2800 at most.  I think $50,000 is way realistic than $1m and it is achievable in a decade from now.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 30, 2017, 01:29:05 PM
Hey dev,
I recall you said Creditbit will be listed on JAXX wallet and saw an announcement of a partnership between JAXX and  Bittrex on twitter---> https://twitter.com/jaxx_io/status/867458978816684032 doesn't that make it easier to be listed on Bittrex Exchange
It might make bittrex consider creditbit for listing since their partner listed it. There's also a possibility that bittrex won't list creditbit in their exchange anytime soon but let's wait I think creditbit would be listed there. Nice tweet you got there by the way when will it be ready? There is no date indicated in the tweet linked above that was posted by jaxx so maybe you would know .

I hope bittrex will list creditbit.  this means more audience and there are lots of investors who are trading in creditbit.  Being listed on bittrex may get the attention of these investors and possibly join the creditbit community or get involve in creditbit trading.
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take part in casinos' tournaments? on: May 29, 2017, 11:25:36 PM
Yes, I do take part in some of the casino tournament before, sometimes I do win some nice prizes from the tournament, my advice to everyone would be to read all the terms and conditions well before joining any tournament, as there would always be some terms and conditions to fulfill for winning the prizes  Smiley
most of the people who are addicted to gambling they are really play in casinos with different formats, they must also play in government. i think there s more entertainment when you play in tournament, but in tournaments there are more chances that you will lose your own money. therefore  if you should try to play your normal games.

There might be entertainment but I believe  your purpose in joining a tournament is to win and not to have fun.  This is the truth and even if the participants deny it, deep inside their goal is to win the pot prize.  Though I always avoid joining the tournament because I am not good at gambling.
1590  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's best time to invest in bitcoin ? on: May 29, 2017, 11:06:55 PM
I think the best time to invest in bitcoin is always today.  Having bitcoin, we can have multiple things to do to have earning from it.  We can use bitcoin for investment that can yield bitcoin profit.  We can also use it to trade altcoin to bring even greater profit.  Not investing in Bitcoin today simply means waste the opportunity to earn with bitcoin.
1591  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: May 29, 2017, 10:23:52 PM
Well holding bitcoin will give us more profit in the long run.  Even if it is highly volatile at this point, this is due to the speculative market and with the global adoption, the possibility of bitcoin to increase in price is inevitable. This is the only reason why we should hold.  More profit in the coming years until saturation level is achieved.
1592  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 29, 2017, 08:42:13 PM
Ok looks like coins.ph receive massive complaints about the ridiculous margin sa kanilang buy and sell. And somehow they minimized it. As of Im typing this ang current rates ng buy and sell ay: Buy 136,638 PHP | Sell: 128,533 PHP.

Mas di masakit tingnan compare recently na umabot almost (or lampas? not sure) sa Php 30,000.

So kapag nagpaconvert ka ng bitcoin to Php, mas malaki makukuha mo kesa sa rebit.ph or even sa ibang exchanges.  Yun lang kapag tyo ang bibili ng bitcoin, laki ng pagkatalo natin during those time buti na lang naayos na rin nila ang rate kahit papaano.
1593  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-24]Bitcoin Will Hit $1 Million in 5-10 Years, Says PayPal Director on: May 29, 2017, 08:08:42 PM
Only a small number of people think exponential. Be one of them.

I agree it won't harm to think exponential but we must be realistic too.  Thinking won't harm but expectation do.  No matter how hard I think, I still cannot see Bitcoin reaching 1m in that span of time, even if we account the halving, it still does not give a valid support for 1m  Bitcoin for the next 10 years.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: May 28, 2017, 10:35:45 PM
I too love DOgecoin! But sensing the future I doubt if it has any... I have now switched to LTC... You should too..

I love doge too even they have possible to increase in the future price of doge as of now is 150satoshi only  and the price i think after few years maybe 1000 to 10,000 satoshi. But it cannot pump big . LTC is also good coin because I see the more potential of this coib compared to dige and if you see coinbase wallet they add LTC wallet so the price willl increase more fo sure. Many investor buy ltc so the price will happen in the future will become more brighter and brighter.
Yes very true, doge i think will follow the trace of LTC who has a good future.

With its huge supply?  I do not think dogecoin will follow LTC, the current increase in price is simply  a pump.  Just wait and the value of dogecoin will come back to where it is before the pump started.

In my opinion yes, dogecoin had a better future in cryto currencies. Because I was notice that dogecoin have fair value in the market, even their amount was not too high like the other coins I think in the future they can't reach the right price. Also, there's a lot of users known the dogecoin.

Have you read the total coins of dogecoin?  I think you should read  dogecoin specification before saying anything about total coins.
1595  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-28] Bitcoin Lending Service BTCJam is Shutting Down For Good on: May 28, 2017, 09:36:47 PM
BTCJam is the ideal kind of platform to catch scammers.  On Bitcointalk, moderators avoid banning scammers due to potential bias and abuse, but in BTCJam you don't have that problem at all - the only information you have is whether they paid the loan. Here, I'll do it for them and practice my pseudocode.

trust = 0
if loanpaid = true:
    trust = trust + 1
elseif loanpaid = false:
    ban user
endif

If it according to you is the ideal platform to catch scammers, then explain how a fairly large number of people still got cheated on? It has been utterly easy to create fake accounts and to walk them through the poor level of btcjam's verification steps. If one account gets banned, then another one will pop up - piece of cake.

This simply show how big is the flaw of BTCJam system.  Anyway, it is still a sad thing that this kind of service have to shutdown.  But still it is good to see a company shutting down without stealing their clients money unlike those Ponzi scam cloud mining.
1596  Economy / Speculation / Re: China is dumping, prepare for crash. on: May 28, 2017, 09:06:41 PM
Guess what you morons, the same people sold you Bitcoins from $2780 down to $2065 are the ones buying them back from you much cheaper.

Now run off to sell more so they can get fatter, no one can see how they are manipulating us? let them dump and hold instead when you buy.

Selling in panic of a crash is what they are practicing as their daily jobs, next pump will be huge comparing to this last one I can predict

A $6000 price increase in next 3 month that's why I'm holding to my few coins that I have.
This is why we must try to avoid being manipulated by them, every time there is a bubble people try to sell at the top and then when they see a huge dump they sell their coins, but since bitcoin is going to reach in my opinion incredible amounts of money in the future any bitcoin that you hold could make a big difference in the future.

That is not within our control if it really happens the day in bitcoin if crash going to come, but at the same time if crashing at 1500, then it does  not matter that much that will still be a very high value and it will give to us an opportunity to buy bitcoin. I think that's deserving price to have now, I don’t think we are going to see ever again prices below 1000; because not all populations of china investors were dumping it all and it's also common thing thar had happened here in us even outside china also dumps bitcoin for harvesting the earned profit; we called freedom of finances.

I agree it is out of our control but the bitcoin we are holding is in our control.  So it is either we decided to exit or hold and wait for the upcoming pump.  Though I do not think that someone is dumping , but I believe that someone with a huge stash of bitcoin is trying to manipulate the price for his own profit.
1597  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: May 28, 2017, 08:38:03 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?

I can say that its true. Why? because jobless people now can used bitcoin as their work. Its like the other job. You need to work hard here and exert some effort to earn money. They can used it also as their additional income of money. By this it will lessen the number of unemployment people all over the world if we spread what bitcoin is.
yes there is no doubt about this, because to me i think in my areas the employment ration is too much high, but now i am can see that most of the jobless people have started income from online sites and in them bitcoin is the the best one, as bitcoin always give chance to jobless people to earn at least for their daily expenses.

I agree, jobless people that found this site got an opportunity to earn from task and bounties or even selling their services and skills and get paid in bitcoin.  This forum alone is a proof that bitcoin reduces unemployment in different countries.
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to all the BTC that people lose the keys to? on: May 28, 2017, 07:56:40 PM
While those BTC that were left on the exchange will have to adjust on whatever the exchange terms and agreement about lost passwords, or inactive accounts with balance on it.  Mostly, it will be kept by the owner of the exchange.  While those that lost private key will be inaccessible.
1599  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you have an idea to invest your bitcoin in offline business? on: May 24, 2017, 11:07:13 PM
Investing bitcoin to buy and sell business is a good thing.  Aside from that we can also accept bitcoin when someone wants to buy the item we want to sell.  This will help in bitcoin economy since even if we setup an offline business, the business aim to accept bitcoin as mode of payment.
1600  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: May 24, 2017, 10:41:37 PM
There's a lot of ways to earn BTC thru online.
1. Use faucets to earn free BTC and Altcoins.
2. Join to signature campaign.
3. Trading
4. Create online business/services in exchange of BTC or Altcoins.
5. Gambling
6. Lending and etc.

This pretty much covered almost everything in how to earn Bitcoin online. among these I like trading the most because of the profit we can get from it.  Though this list is missing investments to certain venture and crowdfunding like altcoin ICO's.
