901  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀MOONBET.IO Community-Owned Crypto Casino 💸 $100 USDT Deposit Bonus on: October 01, 2022, 10:27:42 PM
I don't understand why the deposit bonus of Moonbet getting called fooling gamblers. If the betting requirement is 15x and the gambler feels that it is too high, he can refused the bonus. I find 15x not really high because I have tried as 25x, 30x and as high as 40x on some casinos. Criticisms are normal let alone in a new casino like Moonbet but it rather be constructive. No need to be too harsh. Moonbet is turning to web 3 as well even if the crypto markets are not doing so well.

Agreed. It's only look like that to the players that doesn't read the top of the bonus before playing. Most of the casino has a wagering requirements for there deposit bonus. They just varies on the number of wagering requirements. I think the user who made such comment main point was wagering requirements is not disclosed on the promotional title and you can only see it when you read the ToS which is most of the newbie players common mistake when participating the bonus.
Not reading up everything or anything would really be ending up on making yourself look like a fool yet you do make out criticisms without even knowing that its already been stated there.

True, we need to thoroughly read the argument before giving our point of view.  That way we won't get out of topic or won't give a ridiculous argument.

We do have our own opinions and comments on various situations or things. Some do say that 30x wager is standard and some say it is too high.
When it comes to wagering requirement then it would be almost the same on every casinos that existing today, some might alter on lower but only good for a limited period of time.
Casinos do know that if they do set something achieveable specially on bonuses then it would really be an disadvantage for them but since its part of the promotion
then they might make out adjustments temporarily.

Well 30x wagering requirement is really high, but some casino implement that to be on the safer side.  Safer side that the person who claim the bonus will not be able to withdraw it  Grin  Joking aside, I think 15x wagering is fair but if the casino can trim it down would be much better.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: September 30, 2022, 08:58:26 PM
I will probably abide the rule set by government for obvious reasons since gambling is not something we should worry about without its existence. Maybe addicted gamblers will go for second option due to the degenerate urge to spent time&money on slots that have higher addiction ratio. Generally, I prefer to be gambling free rather than fighting with state law that banned this fun activity. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with you abiding the rule set by the government is a wiser move.  Gambling is a very interesting activity and anyone can be hooked easily with it.  The government is implementing the ban for its citizen's benefits so if any one wanted to have a better and peaceful life, they should follow the law of their country, else don't be surprised if one day, an authority is knocking at our door issuing an arrest warrant or invitation to be questioned if we don't stop our gambling activity which is banned by the Government.
903  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: September 30, 2022, 08:37:20 PM
I heard an interesting fact about Las Vegas casinos. If a man lost a huge amount of money, the casino owners would give him the most expensive room in their hotel and a prostitute for the night. They did it so the loser wouldn't commit suicide of grief. To be honest, I haven't read any confirmation of this fact anywhere.

What a way to console a person losing millions of dollars.  Whether it is fact or rumors, this kind of action of the Las Vegas Casino is a wise move to make sure that a person won't commit suicide in their vicinity.

Theory is the only basis we know when, where is gambling start. But most of us did not know what is the exact date when the gambling starts, where is the place surround the globe starts gambling.  Because for sure before researchers determine that specific year is the start of gambling  there's are many country who actually do such thing but they didn't know that is actually gambling. Maybe from the first family here in the world doing gambling .
There are several events that can not be dated in all accuracy and gambling is one of them. Fir events like this, most researchers relies on the first time it went public but that doesn't mean it haven't haven't in existence and so, they have a range kind of dating that goes from BC to AD and the 70s, 80s and what have you!

People gambled on many things and even the weather. I think that was the most form of it before gambling and other forms of gambling came up. Now, the industry has added a whole new form of sophistication to it, taxed by the government and it continues to enjoy staggering patronage.

True, archeologist just use some time measuring device on the excavated gambling items and give an estimation of how old is the item in existence.  I even think that the time and date isn't accurate but there is nothing to prove whether their guesses are right or wrong since they are the authority when it comes to determining the original date of these gambling evidences.
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀MOONBET.IO Community-Owned Crypto Casino 💸 $100 USDT Deposit Bonus on: September 29, 2022, 10:58:54 PM
This is saying that we will receive something free in our balance, but we need to use that bonus in playing before you experience making a withdrawal transaction that will also reach 100$ anyway. So when there is nothing left and everything goes to the losing game, the bonus you got is also ignored because it just went through the gambler's wallet balance.
It isn't free, remember you need to deposit first to claim the bonus.  Aside from that you need to wager it 15x in order for the bonus to unlock and be able to withdraw.

It's like the gambler was just fooled and his mind was twisted to put money into the gambling platform. That's the scenario I see happening to anyone who tries to avail of their bonus rewards promo.

It is a bonus promotion and is use by several casinos so that new players will be able to extend their gambling experience on the site.  And if ever the player wanted to withdraw the bonus, he just need to comply with the terms.  So I don't see anything about fooling the player on that deposit bonus.

crappy provider with low limits. the previous one was 100 times better

We don't know about the financial capability of the Casino, though I agree that the previous bonus is way better, at least the casino is trying to give their new player a bonus that can help them extend their gambling experience on the site.  Honestly, I do not mind getting Moonbet in the deposit bonus as long as they implement moonbet as another currency to bet on the platform.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 29, 2022, 10:39:48 PM
You're a professional like a lawyer or a teacher in a respected university, will it harm your reputation if people around you or your students discover that you are into gambling, you're not really a compulsive gambler but gamble for entertainment, how will you explain this to people around you or will you explain to protect your reputation or just ignore them.

I don't need to explain anything to people.  I know what I am doing and explaining them about my personal activities seems off to me.  Besides, I do not have to prove myself to them since they don't bother proving their point of view towards me.  I just let them think whatever they think is right and just prove myself through actions since it speaks better that words.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: September 29, 2022, 10:24:19 PM
If ever my country decided to ban gambling, I think I will be responsible and follow the government regulation.  I do not want my family to have problems if ever the government track down people who do not follow the gambling ban.  I think it is worth the sacrifice of not playing in an online gambling if that gives my family a peace of mind.

908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC to $100 soon? on: September 20, 2022, 01:00:56 PM
If ETC adoption booms, do you think it's possible prices will go all the way to $100? After all, ETC is much scarcer than ETH (only 210m ETC will exist). Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

If we are talking about ETC boom, I think $100 is too small for that.   We all know that when a cryptocurrency boom, the price multiplies depending on how cheap the coins is.  So ETC currently @ $29.x  may grow more than 10x if adoption, hype and boom happens since $29.x is still cheap and potential for 10x growth.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 20, 2022, 12:25:38 PM
The new Luna is a new generation altcoin from the classic luna that is experiencing something unexpected. and to me such a significant price increase on a new altcoin is something very reasonable and I think the price increase is also temporary. so if you get that much profit from investing in a new altcoin you should sell it to secure a profit because the price increase is only temporary and won't last long.

I don't see any reason why Luna price go up except for an obvious pump.  Fundamentally, Luna is quite negative because of the recent issue of warrant of arrest against its developer.  In most cases when new like this happen price will dump even Bitcoin market will surely dump if ever the same thing happens to majority of its developer.  But guess what, instead of price crashing LUNA pump.  Isn't it obvious?  I would stay away from this coin even if it pumps really hard because my gain creates a huge loss to others.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy a token if its price never went up and you could never sell it? on: September 19, 2022, 08:07:51 PM
Let's assume that I create a new token and this token has two main characteristics:
1. The purchase price is always fixed
2. You can never sell it to anyone else after you bought that token (so it can't act as a stablecoin)

You can come back and buy more of it since I can create as much as I want anytime I want but you can never sell those tokens to anybody else so you'll have to own them forever.

Will you buy this token?

Depends on the usability/benefits of the token.  If having it means I can have a share of profit in one of your profiting company then sure, I will buy it.  IF it is just for the holdings and nothing beneficial about it then no.  Price will never be a factor as long as it can generate income or profit and the benefits that is better than the price of acquisition.

Benefits example:
A VIP status that can have massive discounts on items at several known online stores.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ claimed Layer 2 isn't really needed yet on: September 19, 2022, 07:21:57 PM
We have few layer 1 projects in the crypto space right now and new ones are showing up but the thing is no layer 1 project fixed every layer 1 problems yet so why are layer 2 projects showing up in numbers? Do we really need layer 2 projects right now? I watched a CZ and Crypto banter interview on Youtube and CZ claimed we don't need layer 2 yet.
I'm not technically good with these layers and stuff. But you know what, these updates and upgrades are becoming of a hype buzz and they're capitalizing it while they can.
Investors and traders are riding those things and not just CZ knows and understands this thing. But on this market, when there seems to be a genius idea, they're using it for them to use so that more investors and traders would come by to their projects.

Layer 1 is the blockchain like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana while Layer 2 are those side chain project like Optimism that helps Layer 1 project to unload some transaction by processing it on Layer 2 instead of going to Layer 1 directly that will make the network busy.

Layer 2 is necessary for those blockchain that has a very network such as Ethereum but completely useless on blockchain that has hast network confirmation such as BSC. I think CZ comment is for his BSC because it really doesn’t require it.

I agree, CZ is only commenting about BSC and has nothing to do about other cryptocurrency.  The need of layer 2 is dependent on how well Layer 1 of the coin is performing.  If layer 1 cannot maintain its scalability and being hindered due to high volume of transaction, causing delays of confirmation, then that is where layer 2 comes in.

Even though CZ stated that BSC does not need layer at this moment, there are times during the peak of BSC projects hypes where BSC also lagged and demand higher gas fee.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all 100x hunters out there on: September 19, 2022, 06:52:30 PM
Get rid of the old stuffs and hunt for the next 100x, not a financial advice but DYOR.

It is really a good advice to search for a project that has an emerging technology and trend.  It is quite hard for an established cryptocurrency to make a 100x since it needs a much higher investment to push it to that price.  Besides, most of the whales that take advantage of new projects will surely looking for a greener pasture and cultivate it through hype and pump, and new projects is way much easier to do those things.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's time for staking on: September 19, 2022, 06:35:46 PM
There are staking platform that offers yearly APY calculation but gives hourly or daily staking and you can actually withdraw your funds anytime you wanted depending on the lock period which actually only lasted for some days or weeks.  The one good example is the staking platform of different swaps and like the one stated on the early replies.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) Price Prediction. Will LUNC price hit $0.001 in 2022? on: September 18, 2022, 10:55:46 PM
The Terra open-source blockchain project helps developers create decentralized applications and web3 products that can be used to power the next generation. Founders of Terra are Do Kwon and Daniel Shin.
In the meantime, our long-term LUNC price prediction for 2022 is bullish since it cannot break the current support level anytime soon. We can expect LUNC to reach $0.001 in 2022.

I don't know if this thread is supposed to be a question or just another, badly hidden shill post for your favorite coin or the coin that you are holding a heavy bag and want to get rid off. If it is a question though then i would say that i personally would never invest into LUNC now. This project was hacked and lost massively in value. Since then it had recovered just a little bit and until a few days ago or so it even had the highest trading volume on Kucoin for example.
But that volume came not from investors that are believing into the project, that volume came from people that are constantly flipping coins that are having a high volatility and of course from arbitrage trading bots. The longterm trend for LUNC or me is downwards, it's an abandoned project after all.

It is a shill post.  It is obvious that OP is a shill since OP just post and poof.  If you look at his post history, it states the obvious.  Anyway, Terre Luna Classic market is just another pump and dump now.  Anyone can play with it but 1 wrong move can burn their investment.  I think it is best to stay away from this project to avoid any unnecessary losses.  But if anyone is in for a risk then why not after all it is their fund they are spending.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Few crypto thoughts of the day on: September 18, 2022, 10:36:06 PM
The cryptocurrency market is unpredictable.  The opposite always happen when we are so sure about the next trend.  Aside from that, even the most expert in TA is shamed by the cryptocurrency market so saying some figures that may happen in the future is just speculation and personal guesses.  So I think instead of making a problem of what will happen in the future, it is better to take advantage of the current market event and decide on what we think the future of the market will be.

It is better to act now and buy BTC while it is cheap than stuck on thinking about things to happen when it is clearly unpredictable but one thing is certain, BTC will surge!
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is always one step behind the competition on: September 18, 2022, 10:18:48 PM
Ethereum was first to have smart contracts afaik — being early advantage, and community matters a lot in valuing a coin. Just look at doge.

I also think this is one of the reason why ETH is somehow "overpriced".  There are lots of project running on ETH network that supports the ETH economy.  So even though ETH is a step behind in the Tech competition, they have the populace of project that support their price in the market.  In short, ETH have more usage than those who are ahead in technology.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 18, 2022, 10:05:43 PM
Sorry guys but the ETH price is going to tank hard, because now it costs almost nothing to create more ethereum big wallets can just create lots and lots of new ETH by just holding/staking them...
It used to cost a lot of energy to create one ETH when it was still Proof of Work. But now it's next to nothing...

That's not how it works at all. After the network has switched to POS, validators receive a reward only for confirming new transactions. Accordingly, the number of new coins has been sharply reduced, since there is now no reward for miners. And now, taking into account the coins being burned, after the London fork, Ethereum will become deflationary.

I also have the same thought that the price will tank hard because it is almost cost nothing to create ETH.  Besides, I do not think that London Fork will make ETH deflationary because ETH has no finite supply.  Just check the max supply of ETH, it is infinite!  I doubt this burning will even make the ETH total circulating supply to shrink.  I do not even think that it will nullify the daily ETH coin production.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Billions burning rate on: September 17, 2022, 10:52:36 PM
What do you think about Shiba inu billions of tokens getting burned from time to time? How do you think this will affect the price in the few years to come? Do you think believe that Shiba could kill two zeros in the next bull market? .

We all know that burning is making the circulating token smaller and the total supply token to decrease.  It will definitely have an effect to the token in the long run.  We might find Shiba Inu one day in the future having just millions of token supply.  Now imagine the current market cap being the same after the total number of Shiba Inu is reduced to hundreds of millions, that is 3 zero killed.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge Success on: September 17, 2022, 10:07:38 PM
Ethereum Merge Is Done and considered successful, Do you think Ethereum has the solution Bitcoin needs and is this proof of ETH Next Of BTC after normal market?
Bitcoin will remain on that network, not unless Satoshi came back and make necessary adjustments but I think, the PoW will still be the main option for Bitcoin and miners have to deal with it. Though the success for ETH merge can bring good ideas to other projects as well, it will still depend if its compatible to their project. There’s still a lot of update coming for ETH, let’s see if everything works well for them and probably, the price will slowly pump and maybe hit the peak once they do all those updates.

Bitcoin strength is on POW so I doubt Bitcoin will transition to POS.  It will also affect many miners if Bitcoin decided to change to POS.  There are some theory that if ever Bitcoin shifted to POS, the price would be greatly affected because the generation cost is cheaper, people will then don't mind selling their Bitcoin for cheaper price, thus, making the price of bitcoin to plummet.  This theory can be applied to ETH so we just need to wait to see things unfold.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: September 17, 2022, 09:47:28 PM
This is a simple question, When this bearish market end and Bull run start.
Thanks
When you see the bull market coming, the bear market is over, conversely when you see the bear market ending, the bull market is coming. There is no final answer to this question, we will only know when it happens or we have been in it for a while. Market movements are unpredictable, so don't try to find the answer to this question, but focus on the question of how prepared you are for a bull market.
right, how well can you prepare for a bull market, in the sense that we must be able to take advantage of every market condition, must be able to take advantage of it as well as possible. many predictions of the coming of a bullish season, but none of them dare to confirm it. therefore our preparation for the bull market is the main thing, when that time comes, of course we already have assets that are ready to take profits

In order to prepare for the bull market, we must be holding cryptocurrency that can increase when the bull market come.  I believe accumulating potential cryptocurrency during the bear market is often proven to be very profitable.  Because there are experiences that the price of a cyrptocurrency6 during bear market often multiplies several time when the bull market trend come.
