I was badly stuck in alts. I think alts are now to the moon. segwit2x cancellation an unexpected news.
I am not sure altcoins will recover as soon as possible. But, about segwitx2 cancellation bring new hope to see a new life. As we can see, this month really bad situation for altcoins and some ICO. And yes, we can sit down and watching the green show. I think it was good for altcoin market, maybe we will see some correction not too soon but well it is more good than got more dipper |

no matter which ICO you choose eventually, make sure not to listen to random strangers on forum about financial advises. You should make your own due diligence and make sure you understand the product and service offered. Usually the whitepaper indicates whether the project has potential, but you shouldn't rely just on that, make sure to join the various social media channels and come in direct contact with the founders and developers of the project, in that way you will be able to directly evaluate the potential by asking questions (which should make sense). Another thing, make sure to put up only what you are willing to lose. Assume whatever you invest won't be coming back to you at all, it's a good rule of thumb to not get rekt in cryptoland.

I think the current situation already tells that we are going in an uptrend before the fork. I also believe that Bitcoin price keep on increasing until the last day of fork because speculative investor think that they will get a good profit from the minor chain once the fork is done. This is, I think, the main reason why Bitcoin has suddenly an fast increase in price this two days.

You should wake up from your slumber mate cause you most definitely will not see that. There are so many people, whales and investors waiting to gulp bitcoin even before it gets to that price at all. As it is from the chart however, it may look like BTC may just keep up with that trend for now, but the speculations may be wrong and that is why bitcoin's movement cannot really be predicted. However, I still see the possibility of bitcoin growing past that before the end of this year. I think bitcoin will still rise up to the fork date and then some decline since people will be cashing out. Though I think Bitcoin will still increase until the end of 2017. Though I agree we cannot predict the actual price but we can see the possible price trend because of the news circulating around the market. Right after the FUD effect fade, I feel that Bitcoin will reach $5000 again. The news from China of opening exchanges for licensed operator, the upgrade implementing segwit2x and the fork. That definitely signals bullish Bitcoin and hyper speculation due to buying bitcoin means extra coin on the minor chain. Traders care only profit so they just want to get as many Bitcoin as possible before the fork. It is a win win situation if he is to hold the main chain coin for a long time and sell the minor chain coin for profit. |

More and more and more actors from the NYC agreement are dropping like flies. Now we have BTCC out of the agreement. Along with f2pool, this is a big chunk of hashrate that segwit2x lost. Bitfury will also potentially not be mining segwit2x. This would be the nail in the coffin, not even considering Bitcoin Core 0.15 is comming out soon which everyone will upgrade to.
With segwit2x out of the picture, we can hit $10,000 easily during 2018, so hold on to your coins and stop falling for the government ban nonsense.
If we are talking the whole period of 2018 then I agree with you. I always find forked and upgrade bullish for Bitcoin. And since it is the gateway (the current upgrade for implementation of segwit 2x )upgrade for lots of improvement. I believe Bitcoin might probably exceed $10k at the end of 2018. |

I think which most significantly affects the bitcoin price are so high at the moment, because increasingly of peoples (countries) who support bitcoin, and the more peoples who buy bitcoin as an optimistic investment material will getting more profit in the next time. And proven also at now I'm sure the number of bitcoin users was increasing, this certainly can affect the development of bitcoin price.
I think it is the upcoming fork. Good news had been piling up for bitcoin after the FUD these previous month. Google implementing Bitcoin API for payment, amazon, and news about Chinese government opening way for legit exchanger to open in China. And these upcoming Fork surely produce a lot of hype and speculation in the market. People think that they will get more profit if the jump in before the fork because of the equal coin in the minor chain which they can sold for BTC. |

It seems Bitcoin won't just reach $5000 before November but will even hit $6000. The upcoming fork surely made the bull on steroid because lots of speculators thinks the same thing after a fork last August might happen this coming update. Extra chain means Extra money. It is true that lending loans to unknown people is risky but there are ways to mitigate this risk. Several people here that offers loan service have ways to make sure that they will not be the one in losing end when a client runs away with the loaned Bitcoin.
