In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.
Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.
I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

For active traders who are monitoring the charts daily for long hours, I am curious to know what you do when you see a coin rising swiftly. Do you jump on the wagon immediately, wait for a pullback or just watch it go and crash and be happy you didn't get lured into it?
I guess the best thing to do is to do some research about it. If you are really interested in making your trading to be more fruitful, we have to spend some time to study the market and the projects involved with that coin. It is true that there is always a hype on every coin but doing some research will not do any harm or take most of your time. Be careful about investing your money into something that you do not know. Watching it go and see if it will crash doesn't make any sense because it will not give you anything. Do something if you want to be more productive. |
