1621  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC be at $5,000? on: May 22, 2017, 09:05:07 PM
Let us wait for Bitcoin to reach 4500 before thinking the $5000 aim.  At the current rate bitcoin price is only 40% of the OP's question on when will BTC be at $5000.  There is no definite time or date because we cannot precisely tell what will happen in the future.  But with the feature of Bitcoin deflation, probably bitcoin will break $5000 after the next halving.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: May 21, 2017, 09:35:48 PM
The only permanent in this world is change, so I guess there will be another cryptocurrency that will replace bitcoin in being number 1 in coinmarket cap.  Aside from that, due to technology evolution, the time will come that there will be cryptocurrency that will take place bitcoin in form of adoption and size of community.
1623  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: May 21, 2017, 09:19:43 PM
The final bitcoin will be only mined in 2140 approximatelly. We have no idea how much bitcoin will price in more than 100 years, it can be pricing $100.000.000.00,00 or $0.01... Many events happen in one century.
If everything happens as bitcoin developers imagined, bitcoin will be pricing millions or billions of currently dollar, enough amount to circulate among all the persons of the world to transact online.

Why not tell us that price of Bitcoin is uncertain, you don't need to give figure if you are unsure about the last price of bitcoin.

I also think the the final price of bitcoin is unknown because as other stated, it is very volatile and the price keep changing since it is driven by people's demand.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: May 20, 2017, 03:59:35 PM
Crossing borders is a big advantage at the moment with Bitcoin, though it will apparently become the norm that the NSA will check your phone/computer to check for dodgy activity, including seeing that you don't have lots of Crypto.
There is no way to detect if you are bitcoin owner, or if you are transferring bitcoin within your smartphone, PC laptop, whatever device you have.
We can encrypt private keys and hid it somewhere, remember or write down mnemonic HD wallet seed or use dozen other methods to conceal your bitcoin stash.
If you are serious crypto holder then there is no need to worry about airport security at all.

I agree, you can just send the private key to your just created email address and access it after landing on your destination.  It is as simple as that.  You do not need to hide it somewhere.  Besides this new email will surely does not link y our personal data because if you are a serious crypto person, you know how to make yourself anonymous.

XRP will soon be more decentralized than even Bitcoin. Thomas recently wrote a blog post explaining how.

Is this a joke?  How can a centralized thing can be decentralized?

Opinions on which ALT coins that will suffer "MOST" from the success of Ripple?

I think this one should be rephrase to "Opinons on who among the supporters will suffer MOST from the success of dump of XRP"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/591cb3bee4b0b28a33f62915

"Regulators pushing for banks to adopt XRP"

WOW. non-stop good news 👍

I guess the answer is this why regulators are pushing banks to adopt XRP.

The regulators received their xrp a long, long time ago...

At the end of the day it is all about profit. Anyway Good luck with your trading.

CreditGAME Fun and innovative distribution of newly issued tokens.

I am really interested on that CreditGame, I wonder what kind of game would be released, is it a card game or some adventure mmorpg game?  Well I guess I have to wait and watch out for this update  Smiley.

The first 2 games will be Minesweeper and Lotto Smiley You can check here https://www.creditbit.org/creditGame.html

Yay minesweeper and Lotto, I really like minesweeper and I think I will enjoy this game very much.  Anywho, thank you for the link.  I hope they will release an mmorpg game too.  MMORPG will more likely attract non crypto players since there are lots of player that still do not know about cryptocurrency.
1627  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-17]Poloniex Goes Down, Users Lose Big on: May 17, 2017, 11:15:10 PM
A DDOS service is irritating, but not as devastating as a hacker attack. If Poloniex loses its funds like Mt Gox did, it could take down half of the crypto world with it. It has by far the largest volumes of crypto trades taking place.

DDoS attacks are mostly fired on an exchange to cause the market(s) to react by panic selling, as not accessible exchanges are a sensitive subject nowadays. Don't forget that big money is involved in the crypto market. If they rent/buy a DDoS attack for a certain amount of hours, the results for the people behind it may be more than rewarding. It's definitely worth a shot.

This is not a news Cheesy  Poloniex is already known for having this kind of problem whenever trading activities heats up.  Worst it goes up when trading is already over making users lose a huge amount of money.  I wonder if it is really the connection problem or an inside job to reap all the profit once coins are hyped.
1628  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: May 17, 2017, 10:56:34 PM
I advice you to invest it in the gambling site because most of the users were starting to become addict in gambling. Also due to high price of Bitcoin in the market the users were starting to trust their luck to easy earn income.

I do not think gambling investment is affected by players that were addicted in a positive way only.  We all know that the result of bets are random so it is possible that bankroll will win and lose.  And not all people that are involved in bitcoin are moron that they will let their earnings depend on luck.  Most just save their BTC and or invest it to ICO.
1629  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin reach the $4000 mark this year ? on: May 17, 2017, 10:25:20 PM
No, you will never see $4k bitcoin this year or the next. In fact, you will never see it. Not in your life time. Never. Won't happen. You will all die destitute and pennyless. Sell all your bitcoins and die happy. Please. For your own sake.

We can't say that it's a "never" because this year is going to be a massive growth for bitcoin.

Though I'm only expecting that this year the price will end up only at $1,500 but it did increased more.

For me, it will not be a never for this year and it's possible to happen but it will be hard.

I think it is quite hard for bitcoin to reach $4000 this year, aside from that we should break $2000, $3000 and $3500 prices first before assuming that bitcoin will reach $4000.  There are resistance, FUD, correction that may hinder the growth of bitcoin.
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Likely to Hit $3,500 This Year, How true is that? on: May 17, 2017, 10:01:32 PM
Bitcoin Price Likely to Hit $3,500 This Year, How true is that?

It is not true yet since bitcoin have not hit that price but the possibility to reach $3500 is big due to the hype brought by Japan friendly gesture to bitcoin and large company that wants to participate in bitcoin economy.  Aside from that Australia just announced their view on bitcoin that they will accept it as money this July.  Definitely this will increase bitcoin price.
1631  Economy / Speculation / Re: How realistic are the $1M Bitcoin predictions? on: May 17, 2017, 09:34:31 PM
In the next 10 years, the new all-time-high of bitcoin will be somewhere between $4,000 and $12,000USD.

In the next 15 years the new all-time-high of bitcoin will be between $6,000 and $18,000USD.

Any reason why you said it?  Any supporting details why bitcoin will reach this amounts in this certain time?  Or this is just a wild guess.  Oh well 10 years is too long to remember what you said here, what more is that 15 years.  Though I believe Bitcoin will break $2000 this year.

$1M  bitcoin is unrealistic.
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Victoriouscoin|Soft launch|Thevty.club:Get hundred dollars of courses on: May 17, 2017, 09:10:59 PM
How about moving to wave platform?  I heard lots of good stuff about wave platform, even ICOBID created a token using wave platform.  Would you consider this idea?  To be honest, it is frustrating to send token in ETH, they have this gas thing that makes me confused.  I wonder why they need to complicate things .
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: May 17, 2017, 08:54:04 PM
How about member who have ICOBID in investment platform, they will get ICOB-W too?

I choose six month investment in ICOBID investment, I'm forget when the investment start  Smiley

it starts somewhere around January. So it will definitely finish on July,  It would be unfair for those who sent their investment if the deadline for submission will be held on the last day of May.  I hope dev will give us his stand on this issue.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: May 16, 2017, 11:52:33 PM
From my perspective, gambling is a game which bring joyful and the entertainment to you, and sometimes, if you are lucky enough, you may earn good amount of money with it. When I feel sad, I usually gamble with my friends and it do make me relax and feel more comfortable
The fact that gambling really entertaining and make you happy when you won it and get some profit.
I guess it is enough to describe what actually gambling it is , and how it make you feel entertained.
Profit and make money will always be number one reason why people keep coming back to play.

I do agree that some of the definition of gambling is this.  And this is somehow the positive side of gambling.  Another definition of gambling is addicting, triggers  person's greed.  make person obsessed in chaisn loses, breaks family when uncheck due to gambling addiction and a lot more.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: May 16, 2017, 11:31:54 PM
You're free to do whatever you want and like in this world, provided that it doesn't harm you or others. If, in your opinion gambling isn't harm, yes means not wrong. Vice versa.

And your statement does not stated that gambling is wrong, instead it is your doing.  The gambling action and not the gambling games itself that harms your financial capability and your family, simply means your action is wrong  and need to be adjusted or corrected.
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: May 16, 2017, 11:13:33 PM
I do not think sports betting is a good choice for a newbie.  I think the player should study sports betting first, know the all around of it and search how he can take advantage of the game.  We must have knowledge about the game we wanted to put  a bet and we should take notes and list of the unusual event that can affect the team performance.
1637  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: May 16, 2017, 10:49:40 PM
1. Try using facebook ads (i think u must have good landing page)
2. Using instagram (You must build ur followers first)
3. If u have website with high traffic, u can sell through your website
4. Mouth to mouth, try to selling your product to your friends or family around you

Add an affiliate marketing, this will give your customer a reason to share your products and other non users who just register to be affiliated to your site and earn a commission by referring people.  This will definitely boost your market sales and spread your business fast.  You got many people advertising your products.
1638  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: May 16, 2017, 09:46:33 PM
youu can play games, but the best way to earn bitcoin if you dont want to invest its sign up on ptc site that pay with bitcoin

PTC sites sucks.  That what I can say about it.  Earn BTC by offering your skills online and get paid in Bitcoins.  Join Signature campaign and altcoin bounties then convert your earnings to BTC.  Mine if you have fund to buy miners.  And last, you can trade to increase your BTC holdings.
1639  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF - decision 15th May - Time and place on: May 16, 2017, 09:03:16 PM
Aside from some country adoption, there is not much going on Bitcoin.  Scaling problem is still there, regulation is still an issue.  so I guess the decision on the ETF review will not be reverted.  It will stay the same.  Rejected.  And I guess the rejection will do good than bad.
1640  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 16, 2017, 08:09:18 PM
I still don't think that "taking the risk" is a good idea when you are really using your own money into that kind of investment. What I mean about that is why will you take the risk if the losses outweighs the reward? Buying Bitcoin right now at its price level will give you no room or as what they call it a margin of safety in your investment in which if it falls down you automatically will be incurring a loss. A good investment always has a base on a lower price compared to what it has now that when it falls your investment won't be affected that much

How sure are you that bitcoin won't be increasing in price in the next months or years?  How sure are you that if we invest today in Bitcoin, there is no room to profit?  Though I agree that a good investment always or should always be based on lower price but if Bitcoin increase in price on the next months, does not it prove that what you are saying about investing in Bitcoin is incorrect?
