1781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: February 07, 2017, 09:20:38 PM
Yes why not! There is 7/8 special days only  on February So obviously we can have bitcoin day Grin Everyone bitcoin user will participate and observe this day. It can be a great way to exchange our thoughts face to face with many unknown people. It is very much possible I think Undecided

How about Bitcoin day on 29th of February  Cheesy  That also remind us of halving every four year just like a leap year every 4 year.  Aside from that I do not find any other reason for that day.  But it is symbolic in my opinion since Bitcoin halves every four years.
1782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: February 04, 2017, 06:45:49 PM
Win or lose, I do not let emotion take over as long as the event is not done.  Then if it is done, if I win I'll sure rejoice and if I lose, then  a deep breath a sigh and a smile is enough to set all things back to normal Smiley
1783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity? on: February 04, 2017, 06:10:20 PM
The problem is that an exchange that follows the law is not going to be anonymous, and an exchange that is not following the law can't really be trusted.

This Smiley  Why would someone need to hide his identity if he won't do any harm?  Same applies to services.  There is a possibility that this anon sites or services are just waiting for the right moment to run with the money.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Investment Doubt on: February 04, 2017, 05:48:44 PM
For how much time do you usually let your money invested in a casino before finish or renew it?
Simple if doubt about it, just don't invest and for how long is back to you due you are the only one that know the profit has you got is enough or not.

True, if you are half hearted over the site then do not invest.  You can do a bit more research until you are convinced that you are or a thorough research about the site i better.  Then if you are still in doubt then look for another investment sites.
1785  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: February 04, 2017, 01:51:08 PM

A person's knowledge is just  a speck of a Vast knowledge unknown to him.  God, others say created by man to suite their needs of having someone to run to or pray to , to help them in times of trouble, sometimes I think this people are Superhero fanatics Smiley.  Others say God created man to worship and glorify Him, help them and prosper them.  And simply others do not believe in God.  I fall to the kind who believe in God.  Im just betting on it, it is always good to have someone to run to when we are in times of trouble Smiley.  But to the argument about God existing or not is just a waste of time.  Just carry on what each one believe in.  Besides, will you know the knowledge beyond if someone had not tell you / proved you so?
1786  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 04, 2017, 12:56:26 PM
this forum is an awesome place to earn money just by placing our views of the mentioned topics but it's really time-consuming task it takes about an hour to reply to at least 5 topics daily so understanding the topic and replying accordingly takes a lot of time. but well for jobless and hopeless guys it's the perfect source of earning. some teens are wasting time by playing addictive games like clash of clans and mini militia instead if they invest those time in this forum then they would definitely earn about $20 monthly

Actually that is fast enough I bet you are skipping posts  discussed on each thread, if you are reading it will take you more than an hour to reply on two new topics LOL, unless you are already caught up with the converastion.  Well this is not a waste of time comparing others who are wasting money and time playing games though cannot blame them because it give them something money can't buy directly.

I tried trading, I bought some percentage of BTC and try my luck with trading.  As a beginner seems I got this beginners luck because I tried trading in yobit and observing what I have read here, I  bought an unknown coin that is blinking in green really fast.  Then set it to 2x in price.  And after several minutes my sell order was fulfilled.  So for now that is a way of my earning BTC.
1787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to 2,000 $ soon ? why not ? on: February 03, 2017, 05:17:34 AM
What do you think guys ?

Do not get excited, it is still far to get to $2000.  It is possible but not soon.  We need to break how many  hundred of dollars first before reaching $2000.  Do you see we need to double $1000 to reach the aimed price?  And FYI  it took Bitcoin how many years again to reach and retouch $1000?
1788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: February 03, 2017, 04:55:24 AM
Next stop: MOON  Grin

I wouldnt hurry too much Tongue, it was $1,150 and we thought that we are near the moon destination but we weren't.

We had to stop and unload some of the dead weight (those useless Bears)

Indeed but I hope this is not a bull trap  Smiley  I was really expecting Bitcoin to uptrend after being idle but not this fast.  Just a couple of days and Bitcoin broken the 4 digit wall.
1789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: February 03, 2017, 04:37:17 AM
An online wallet to do my transactions and an offline to where I store most of it. Better be safe than risking it all in an online one. You cant see what could happen if suddenly one wallet site tells they are hacked, which I see is always a lie just to run off from their cusromers. They just go away once they got the quota they wanted.

Exactly. That really is the best solution. Online wallet (exchange, web, desktop, mobile, etc) for as your "spending account" that you don't keep much in, then a very secure offline wallet as your "savings account". I don't see how anything else could be better than that.

I only use lightwallet like electrum for my savings, sometimes I try to get the priv key and create a paperwallet then delete the original wallet.  Then I send my fund to that . I don't know how safe is that method but it works fine to me.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: February 02, 2017, 06:55:03 PM
As a main currency , the government will never accept nor make bitcoin their main currency. Maybe it can be an alternative but it will take time for the government do that.  As for now the best concern is to make merchant accept bitcoin, increase the sphere of influence until the business sector pressure the government to acknowledge bitcoin.
1791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to trade? on: February 01, 2017, 09:40:24 PM
Unless you have the possibility of trading with leverage or with huge amounts of bitcoins, I don't think it is an easy task to get good profits from bitcoin trading. I have personally preferred to stop it and turn to other altcoins, otherwise it would be almost impossible for me to get significant profits from trading.

I agree, it is more profitable to trade altcoins-Bitcoin pair.  I have seen people earning 10x to 100x of their holdings with altcoin.

I think it is still worth to trade bitcoin today, Bitcoin have many trading pairs not only USD or other popular money, Bitcoin can also be traded with thousand of altcoin in the market.  If it does not do well ing fiat pairs, why not try the altcoin pair.
1792  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is there truest religion? on: February 01, 2017, 08:46:55 PM
I think this depends on the person, each one has their own belief.  I have read much in here and on  other forum about religion, which is true and not.  You cannot grasp the essence of it if you are holding only a piece of the puzzle.  Just like getting 5 blind person to touch an elephant ea in different part, first one. the tusk, second, the body ,the other touching the feet, the next the ears and the last one the tail .  And let them describe what an elephant is, they surely have different description  and would argue within each other, but they are all correct.  This is how different religion function.  They believe they are the only one that is correct and rest are wrong LOL.
1793  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What are you looking to buy in BitcoinTalk Marketplace? on: February 01, 2017, 07:37:08 PM
Once in a while I visit marketplace especially the digital goods, though i have nothing in mind to buy but just like RL stuff, we go window shopping just to look at the possible item we wants and go back to buy it.  I am more incline to buy game key and if I have found one that I like, I am sure i'll buy that stuff.
1794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: February 01, 2017, 06:55:10 PM
Many people think that bitcoin is the best system that is not replaceable, invincible even to survive in the future. I say that bitcoin has many weaknesses that could make bitcoin abandoned. I am not sure that bitcoin will can survive up to 20 years again. I am convinced that there is a coin that will beat bitcoin.

We are in era of innovation so there is full possibility that bitcoin can be replaced by some new currency in coming years but if the price of bitcoin keeps on increasing then people will continue to use bitcoins and if price drops then people will switch to new currency and its really hard to predict what future will show us.
I think i am believe that bitcoin can be stay for long time and i think 20 years is not the end of bitcoin i think we can say more on 20 years because bitcoin right now is growing and this is the start of journey of bitcoin.. see more company are hoping and believing in bitcoin.. if you can see them i think its impossible that bitcoin will not stay for too long..

Bitcoin is to be mine for another century so 20 years is still young for Bitcoin as a currency.  I think as long as Bitcoin keep on adapting the community needs and upgrade in technology is always done, it will be hard for the contender to take bitcoin's throne as the top cryptocurrency.  The reason is that this contender needs to overcome the base user of Bitcoin.  It is not about the price but it s about the adoption of masses.  There are altcoin that has better features than Bitcoin but they are having a hard time gathering community simply because people of cryptocurrency have already put their trust in Bitcoin Blockchain.
1795  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 01, 2017, 05:58:45 PM
I am earning Bitcoin by  having a day job.  I work hard even doing some overtime work just to get extra.  Then when payday come, I use 5% of my salary to buy Bitcoin.  My plan is to do an altcoin - bitcoin trading if I get a grasp of day trading (night trading for me because I'm only available during night)
1796  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A beautiful disaster for the Philippines on: February 01, 2017, 05:04:04 PM
As a Filipino I find it difficult to truly appreciate President Duterte. Yes, addiction on drugs should be stopped and discipline is a must but killing people immediately is immoral. We are cleansing our nation but we also affect other people the good ones, some police officers killed innocent children for being inaccurate in shooting the drug user and that's totally wrong. I think we should think of better ways than killing directly.

Till now, I think around 6,000 people were shot dead by the vigilante squads and the police. There is no doubt that at least 20% or 30% of them were innocent civilians who didn't had any connection with the drug business.
Cheesy Again what is your source that 6000 people dead by war on drugs and the 20-30% is innocent? From the bias report right.?If 30% you know that innocent and not connected to drugs the total innocence killed is 1800 peoples. Please dont spread fake news.

We cannot ignore but take into consideration that the possibility of a mistaken identity might happen.  And besides the person is innocent unless proven guilty by judiciary trial. We have judiciary system here that process cases.  Unless people do not believe in this system then they should abolish it .
1797  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A beautiful disaster for the Philippines on: January 25, 2017, 11:36:23 PM
I believe that the president is doing his very best to stop drugs in our country and I think that the best that the citizens can do is to support him not criticise him and after all, all of this is for our own good I believe that little by little it can be achieved and it is feasible if we have a good leader whose loved the country so much like president duterte
He does. I think, he was sent by God to change the Philippines into better. Although many irrelevant people are interfering in his plans and deeds, no matter what happen I see one thing to him, that is he has a on word. No matter what he say or promise, expect that he'll do it for his name sake. Corruption, drugs, and poverty must be stopped. May the force be with him.

So killing people is what God wanted to the country of Philippines?    I admire Pres. Duterte's dedication to end drugs, but isn't this only an excuse to fill his hunger for blood?  People  were killed everywhere, then the same time the war on Drugs were launched, murders and vigilante killings were the content of the news almost everyday.
1798  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 25, 2017, 11:15:08 PM
According to the latest forecasts of paper money given very little chance of survival. Most professionals in the financial sector predict the imminent collapse of the paper money, and that people be helped to move to a fully digital currency with a bank transfer. But is it, only time will tell.
I think so that the paper money is doomed to limit consumer, technology has advanced and complicated it is to force something that will be replaced with something more sophisticated and easy to use
It maybe doomed but I still can see it being used by people or country that is left behind in technology.  I think it will take long years before this paper money stops in circulating.  Developed country might trash it and change to more advance electronic money, but developing country will more likely take century to totally implement electronic money and leave paper money era.
1799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Network Marketing Companies on: January 25, 2017, 10:56:26 PM
In fact, it is possible for someone who is successful in a good network marketing business to earn millions of dollars. But most people in MLM companies can not make money. Not all MLM companies are fraudulent. But most MLM companies use the ponzi system. MLM firms that use the ponzi system are fraudsters.
It doesn't matter if there is 1 of 10 MLM company which is legit. This whole market is filled with exploits and is based a controversial, pyramid-shaped marketing strategy.
Do we really need something like this associated with Bitcoin? In the end it will only build fake assertion that Bitcoin is good only for fraudulent schemes like MLM payments.

Yes I agree bitcoin investments could result to fraudulent schemes, like in fiat money network marketing offering investments on so called legit company promising people to double their money capital along with its profit, but turns out to nothing after years then when they hit their target the so called legit company declares closure of operation. They really exploit and scam people and the  same with bitcoin users there were threats of ponzi schemes and whatsoever unacceptable act which could result profit losses to anyone.

I think network marketing system had been used by company that is using Bitcoin for a long time.  One that is very popular is the affiliate system or referral system.  This is one kind of network marketing system that had been used by exchanges and other company that is involved in Bitcoin.  Then this MLM (Multi Level Marketing) company take it to the next Level.  We have seen such company like OneCoin, Bitclub etc. that took advantage of Bitcoin concept and Bitcoin market and use it to bait unsuspecting client.  They result in investment of sum of money in exchange of bonuses offers by this company.  They tried to be hard to be or look to be legit but then at the end they are just a ponzi scheme that take advantage of members.

1800  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: January 24, 2017, 11:54:01 PM

Duterte essentially a dictator. People like him do not surrender power voluntarily. Sure he provoked a civil war and now a few years, the Philippines will be destroyed. This of course would prevent the Americans, but democracy prevents them to do it.

You are overthinking, there is no such way that duterte can cause a civil war. Lol, you know what if you are from the philippines there is a way people le their president down or resigned and they have done that couple of times they call it people power and which is pretty sure that would not going to happen people in the philippines simply love duterte and supports him

mersedes actually think of the eviliest thing that a president can do. all president can also do that not just duterte. the point is we cant judge duterte on what is he currently doing. because it is his duty to protect every person who are living or inside the teritory who is he actually holding. and i think it is just the right things to do. i dont say that killing drug addicts is better but we dont also know if duterte himself order to kill all the drug addicts.

Duterte does not order police officer to kill all drug addicts but he encouraged it.  Just listen to all his speech.  I admire Duterte for his being straightforward but sometimes, I think he is not fit to be a president, and somehow my mind silently questioning his mental health.  Anyway it is just me.
