1721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: March 14, 2017, 11:21:49 PM
I use  desktop wallet,  I am more comfortable using it done mobile wallet.  I also use online wallet due to trading purposes but I always enable my 2fa for another line of security.  I haven't use walletpaper because I do not know how to make it.  Maybe when I learned it, I'll be using it for the Bitcoin savings I am planning.

1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 08, 2017, 09:56:36 PM
Entertainment and profit from winning keeps me coming back. Well, it is really enticing to play game and win or win while having fun. Who would reject an opportunity as such?
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 03, 2017, 05:37:27 PM
Curiosity is one of the big reason why I keep on coming back in gambling.  Whenever I saw a new game or a new kind of template of a game, I am tempted to play.  I want to feel the experience of playing the new games in the Casino.
1725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Learn from others mistakes. Hodl on: March 03, 2017, 05:26:26 PM
We cannot tell that to those who earn bitcoin like in signature campaigns here to pay their bills. I hope everyone hold as well because of the rise in price but its not true to others.

Honestly they can still do that (paying bills from the BTC they earned) but we can at least suggest them to save at least 5% of their BTC earning (to not have much impact if it is one of their main source of income)  5% when saved in a very long time can be a big amount too.
1726  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 03, 2017, 05:12:46 PM
Invest an amount that you are prepared to lose. Don't put everything in a single basket. Diversified funds is the best way for investment. You can keep some of your Bitcoin as the safest way however it will take time before its value grows. I forgot, we people should invest in a trusted investment vehicles to avoid pyramid scams or any kind of scams. Investors should also measure their risk appetite so that an individual will know what kind of investment he or she fits in.

Yeah right, keep the money with bitcoin then we get the many advantages. In addition to the transaction bitcoin is very good for long term investment. And many people compare with gold and says current bitcoin is better than gold.

The bitcoin is a good long term investment as its value has increased a lot in the past 8 years.
though we all believe that bitcoin will have a great future but do not make you to use all your money to invest in bitcoin. use a few percent to save as well. because all the risk

Currently prices are increasing like anything and I think its time to bring out the saved coins and sell them to get profits since no one knows when a drop may occur. Its important to notice when the profits can be booked and to grab that opportunity at once. I believe this is one of them and I do hope future prices will be even higher.

Hence currently investing in trading is better than saving.

I also believe that the price of Bitcoin will grow. But I can not say that trade is better than saving. I think you have to use both options, if possible.

Well, I think your idea of using this two method is good.  Having a fund reserve while you are trading.  Then keeping some amount of trading profit to the saved fund reserve.  This will really help us in time of needs.  And I think, why choose when you can do both of them.  Maximize the fluctuation and have fund reserve for emergency fund.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: March 03, 2017, 05:04:08 PM
My worst moments in gambling has always been when I loose a bet. I don't really have a particular day but whenever I loose my mood changes and I feel bad.

Lol  seems you have an emotional problem whenever you lost a bet.  I think you need to actually used to loses since you will experience it more and more in the future.  Aside from that learn to control your emotion and most of all gambling only the money you can afford to lose.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 03, 2017, 04:51:26 PM
Gambling in casino games is totally based on luck and pure luck. Skills only come into play for poker and other PVP games though many games are rigged and fixed and are very hard to guess which one is fair.

In the long term gambling more and more only leads to bigger losses cumulatively since the house edge is always against us and that is why the odds are never in our favor. Even playing small bets never guarantee that the next bet will be a green one.

I agree that most Casino games are based in luck.  Even with poker and blackjack that depends on the luck of the cards they deal.  Even though we have the same thought about Casino games being dependent on luck,  I disagree that long term playing is destined to make players lose more money.  I think if a player couple it with some strategy, they eventually can earn in the long run.

Dear gaming community,
-snipped

Thank you for answering peoples queries, and addressing the 0.1 BTC minimum withdrawal limit. It is good that you are planning to lower it on Monday.  It is really a ridiculous amount of BTC to be a minimum withdraw limit.  If you haven't change this, probably you will see majority of your customer moving out of your Casino due to this insane requirement.  (Though I am thankful you are about to change it to 0.01.)
1730  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: March 03, 2017, 04:24:05 PM
What if bitcoin gains much more value than you anticipate? So what happens when 1 satoshi reaches the price of 1 dollar?
What kind of arrangement is made if payment is requested as Cent? Can the bitcoin core be modified?

I do believe that the decimals can be modified according to the needs.  It is only a code that the core developer can reprogrammed if they wanted to or the situation that need it to make satoshi broken into smaller parts.  And as usual transaction will still the same as it was before.  The process of converting USD price to BTC price will be done and customer need to send BTC to  a specific BTC address.
1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: March 03, 2017, 02:18:31 AM
I think let us just let the children be.  Let them focus in their study, teenagers on the other hand should be thought of Bitcoin but let their interest guide them on what to do.  This way, if ever these teenagers realized and understand the essence of Bitcoin then they will do it according to their own accord.
1732  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: March 02, 2017, 11:45:34 PM
many of my friends did not work but a lot of money away was great when compared, to me that is still working in the factory, I was confused from where producer obtained from bitcoin?

There are freelancing jobs online that offer Bitcoin.  Then when your friend do these freelance job, they are then paid in Bitcoin.  Getting Bitcoin does not need to open a bank so they get it directly to their bitcoin wallet and exchange it to local exchanger.  Local exchanger then have way to convert Bitcoin to fiat and send it to the people without going thru a bank account.  they just send it through remittances.
1733  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 02, 2017, 11:32:18 PM
already know that it will happen soon but it got much soon what I expected .
Well here no doubt that it's price will cross 1500$/BTC . Recently a news in many blogs and sites is spreading that the price will go to about 30-40% more ,And the main news source is from coindesk , Since we can't believe at any predictions but we can see reality that is happening with us the current price .

I admire your foresight.
I started to get it when it was $ 450.
I sold it when the price was $ 900.
I'm very regretful.

You can always come back you know, It is not yet late if you are thinking of 5k USD Smiley.

It is a great news to know Bitcoin had already surpassed the gold price.  It is always inspiring if something like this happen to the economy that we are actively participating and supporting.  I hope Bitcoin will be the highest among the stocks / commodities being traded.
1734  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: March 02, 2017, 11:18:20 PM

Yes i do believe in fiat .in my country , bitcoin is accepted now where other than cash .thats why i have to sell my earned bitcoins and get it in fiat .with that fiat , i do my day to day transactions.
Huh? I don't get it, You said bitcoin is accepted now in your country and it is bitcoin dominates cash, then why you need to sell your earned bitcoins? If i were you I will not sell my bitcoins because that is great opportunity to maximize the usage of bitcoin because it is being accepted in your country and you don't need to worry about having a lot of money in your pocket because all you need is cellphone and internet.

There is no where your quoted comment tells that Bitcoin dominates cash.  As I see, he said that bitcoin is accepted in his country just like any other cash.  And so he convert his Bitcoin to cash because his daily needs use cash.

I also believe in fiat.  there is no way that bitcoin will ever take place the use of it or  Bitcoin being acknowledge as main currency of a country.
1735  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: March 02, 2017, 10:52:42 PM
Some of the people who have money took back by Paypal have violated their accounts or are otherwise engaged in illegal activities. I have used PayPal for 1 year and it's not bad, after I've used it to purchase my products I can always be guaranteed that I can return them, after they came broken or in a bad condition
So I have a sufficiently long time use paypal and never had any issues and problems, and all the things that they are trying to tell the negative, is nothing but a fairy tale.

I am also a long time use of this payment system and no problems. I am confident tm, it is a serious company.

Same here, I do not think paypal is a scam.  It is a big company and for sure it will take care for its reputation.  Aside from that, I think it is the users that exploit the chargeback of paypal.  And use it to scam people.
1736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: March 02, 2017, 10:43:42 PM
I should sell now, because ETF will be dissaproved. Just wait 2 weeks. Then buy  again.
If thats the case then i will not sell any of my bitcoins,  all i will do is to wait  after weeks and sell some. Cause bitcoin today is worth waiting for. I will not sell as long as the price will not reach the 2000$.

Whether ETF will be approved of not in my opinion there will be no change/ Just look with bitcoin's price right now, we don't have ETF but the price is competitively high.

And if you will keep on holding if there's no approval, we can still expect bitcoin to keep on pumping because of its current price.

People will be attracted especially new comers will be investing to bitcoin.

Have you ever heard of influence?  Speculation of traders influenced by the upcoming ETF decision?  Aside from that the possible manipulation at this current stage is also the concern.  If ETF is disapproved, we can see price going down the dip depends on how these manipulators want to play the market.

I am always a fan of waiting but if ever you wanted to secure a profit, you can sell a certain percentage of your holdings and wait for the other percentage.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: March 02, 2017, 10:33:43 PM
Each must decide where to invest his money. A person should feel responsible for their money. Hope you need at your sanity. No need to listen to the advice of others, it does not always lead to success

Lol the OP is asking for suggestion though you are giving a caution, it does not help to what OP is looking for.

I think buying Bitcoin and keeping if for a long term will do.  Unless you want to multiply your Bitcoin, you need to learn trading.  Just make sure you stay away from gambling.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2017, 10:12:08 PM
satoshi is the man behind bitcoin. when satoshi introduced himself, I am sure, many people who would invest in him, and try to be familiar with it for future cooperation. I think, will be very many people who try to take advantage of this opportunity, and maybe the world will be on view bitcoin high.

I do not think lots will invest in him.  There are lots of flaw in his creation that the current group of devs are fixing.  Aside from that I am sure that lots of traders will worry because there is a chance of those 1m of bitcoin be dumped in the market.  A possible affect on price to decline.  Depends on how severely manipulators FUD the market and spread wrong gossip and idea.
1739  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoiners...We making History! on: March 02, 2017, 09:53:49 PM
This is great news, I am happy to be part of this bitcoin community and having bitcoins! haha

Let us be cautious here.  I do not want to be anti-climatic but this might become a bubble if SEC disapprove ETF.  The current price surge is because of the incoming event.  If ETF is rejected then possibly we will make another history such as the bubble burst of 2013.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: March 01, 2017, 11:42:18 PM
Right now i trying to mining a lot of coins, i thinking its mabey its good to save the coins like 6-12 mdr before selling it.

Can orther explain about its a good point else about the risk its to high to lose to lot on it?

I mine to keep because Bitcoin is skyrocketing and it's going to go higher in the coming years so I basically mine Altcoins and then sell them for Bitcoins and then zip my walls until further notice.

I dont know if at this stage running miners at home has becomed profitable once again, but im pretty sure yes, since the total hash is growing well on the last days. If the coin isnt one that has a good trading daily volume you should dump those, since bitcoin up and in the general altcoins will go down.

Mining Bitcoin in house is surely not that profitable because of the difficulty, reward, price and maintenance ratio.  But mining altcoin specialy those that are just released have low difficulty making mining it worthy.  About selling it, I think you need to study the market value of your coin, and the possible update and upgrade of the project.  If there is an incoming hype, I think you need to wait it until the price goes up.
