1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 07, 2023, 07:45:46 PM
Just don't go all in. Start with a small, manageable amount you can afford to lose. Think of it like dipping your toes in the water before diving in. Always do your homework on the platforms and go for the well-known and trustworthy ones. Avoid those shady schemes promising quick riches because they usually lead to disappointment. It's like finding the right party to hang out at and you want the one with a good crowd and positive vibes. There are a lot ot tips here in the forum. You will do well.  Smiley
Best thing to do if you're playing in an online casino but if you're going on some casino, you can probably consider observation first to see how the games are played, how the players play and if you're lucky, how the winners play. I think that it's common sense to avoid those schemes, didn't the Led Zeppelin said that all that glitters isn't gold? If something is just too good of an offer, there's probably a catch that's a total disadvantage to you. I can't really add any new advice since most of the advice that a newcomer should know is probably said already, I guess I just have to say that you should just enjoy gambling and never make it too serious.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: November 07, 2023, 07:01:15 PM
I'm late to respond this but even tho AI is good when play a certain game but they didn't know card from the dealer card right?

Is stil 50.50 or I am Missing something here?
It's fairly easy even the AI doesn't know the card, you don't even have to use an AI as traditional programming might be able to help you with this one, if you can find a programmer that can create a card counting scheme that keeps track of the cards that's been used in the deck by the dealer and by the player, you can just deduce the possible cards that the other players are holding depending on the card count but that's not a guaranteed win as there's always that possibility that the other players will win plus in poker, you can bluff your way to intimidate your opponents and the AI can't keep track of the players' cards that have folded pre-flop so it's still not that good but if you really want to cheat in poker, why not just coerce the dealer?

1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Plan to Make the Most of Your Bitcoin Investment Before the Halving? on: November 05, 2023, 08:30:34 AM
I do DCA and I don't plan to make any special changes, except maybe to do partial sales at ATH times, like when the price goes over $100,000 and things like that. But for me it's more of a long-term view, which includes a couple of cycles or more. Gradually continue to accumulate wealth in bitcoin and other assets.
We're close to doing the same thing although I'm on the grind right now so I can accumulate as much money as possible so I can buy more bitcoin, hopefully the prices go down temporarily as I have a substantial amount of fiat ready to be converted to be bitcoin, doing some overtime in my work helps with the accumulation too. I've set my sell out price the same as you too but I don't know yet if I'm going to sell everything or just the half of it and wait for it to go up more again and then sell the other half. I don't really like to plan too much on how I can accumulate more bitcoin before the halving, I don't my life to revolve around just accumulating bitcoin and having all the time of day to be just thinking about bitcoin so I avoid plans.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the last 5 years compare to now on: November 05, 2023, 07:38:10 AM
Mass adoption by institutions will continue, and while retail investors can influence prices and market sentiment, large institutions wield even greater power through their actions with Bitcoin. More companies will start securing Bitcoin in their own wallets, anticipating a future filled with surprises from Bitcoin, courtesy of these major corporations.

In the years ahead, Bitcoin is poised to unveil more surprises, further increasing its value. Its limited supply compels everyone to vie for ownership, and Bitcoin ETFs serve as a significant gateway for institutional investors to enter the market on a grander scale.
If that's how things are going to happen then I guess the best course of action for retail investors like me is to just accumulate more bitcoin and hope that things are going to my way and hopefully reap a really good profit. I'm so scared and excited at the same time that the possibility of more corporations/institutional investors are getting in bitcoin is just getting more clear, I know that when they get in that the prices are going to go up in a way that some of us might've never imagined but at the same time, I fear that we might see these corporations at the long run, the only group that's circulating bitcoin because the retail investor can't buy a lot of bitcoin anymore or that the market manipulation will just get more rampant.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A milestone of introducing and initiating a friend to Bitcoin investments on: November 05, 2023, 06:43:11 AM
Looks like it ended up great for you, but we really need to be very careful when pitching bitcoin to other people. It could end up really great with them if bitcoin pumps — but man if bitcoin's price goes the other way, it could end up really different for your relationship.
Depends on how you said it to that person though, if you're the kind that's talking only about bitcoin in terms of hype and all the positives and putting bitcoin on a pedestal so you can sell bitcoin to that person then be prepared to have that relationship to be gone because you deceived that person to some degree by telling them only the good stuff when there's also a lot of negatives that your friend could've been warned about. But if you've introduced your friend in a way that's informative but at the same time makes them do the decision of investing then I don't think that your relationship with that friend will be going anywhere bad.
1127  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to start a Gambling operation and you can join ! on: November 05, 2023, 06:04:59 AM
Turning into project startup simply because you lost your BTC, that you have your rent due in a short while is not the best of motives to drive you towards a startup. You will be under critical pressure and it will have a negative impact on the project you want to run.

Nobody wants to get involved in anything that will not benefit them, from your analysis, you'll take no time to prioritize your worries over the success of your project and therefore, I'll advise you face another direction to settle your life's worries before deciding to startup a project
Well duh, that's because OP is under pressure that he's desperate now to find a way to make some money in the hopes that he can pay the rent although I am skeptic about this project although I am skeptic it being a real thing, I disagree with your claim that this kind of thing is going to be problematic for any project startup because I think that in these desperate times, that's when the drive is much stronger.

And to OP, answer the questions that the others have asked, tell them your skillset or better yet, show your portfolio that you are a real deal and that all of this is a real project, prove my doubts to be wrong and hopefully you can find the people that's going to help you with your project.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: November 05, 2023, 05:22:36 AM

As we are the ones indulging ourselves in our various habits, it would be difficult to actually know and later drop such habit when it’s starting to be detrimental to our financial and mental wellbeing. And if our partner can notice it earlier, it’s best to heed to their advice and better quit before we get ourselves and our family ruined.
You don't need for that to happen if you know yourself and you know that your habit is a problematic one that can be detrimental to your relationship, you should make a move to break that habit from the start of the relationship, that is if that relationship is a serious one because there are other types of relationship that's not that serious so you can probably work with just limiting your time on that habit rather than breaking it. I think that if you're to start a family and you're in too deep in the relationship and then that's the only time that you're planning to break the gambling habit, you will probably have a hard time or you're going to fail.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: November 05, 2023, 04:40:51 AM
In any case, it's good that you've done your fair share of homework first before actually diving into the world of online gambling, makes it easier for you to pick up on concepts and all that shit. But since you're playing on a low budget, I suggest you play some low stakes games instead, and don't play on automatic rolls cause it takes the fun out of gambling, especially if all that you ever really know to play is slots lol.
If that's the only game that OP plays, I suggest that he should start learning about other games because slots is boring af, it's not going to be that stimulating because even without the automation feature, the only difference is you're clicking to start the slots which is not my definition of fun. Try learning blackjack, poker or baccarat if OP wants to immerse himself to gambling, I don't think that there's no other way that you can get bored with those as most of them require your presence of mind which is definitely a crucial thing to have if you want to gamble and have a higher chance of winning.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $50,000 betting goal by 2024. Share Your Thoughts With Me. on: November 05, 2023, 03:21:38 AM
I never set myself any goals in gambling. Of course, like any other gambler I wanted to win a large sum and I succeeded, but the goal of $50,000 is quite a high bar for annual earnings, especially when you consider that winning in gambling is not guaranteed and depends heavily on luck. In my country even to earn such money in a year is quite difficult, what to speak about earning this money on gambling.
If someone is determined enough to do this then you best believe that they will be able to do it, nothing wrong with believing in them because at the end of the day, it's their money anyway and it's not like you're going to be the one that's losing them so just cheer for OP and hope that he will be able to get to that goal. Also, I don't think that OP is going to be losing that quickly or won't be able to reach his goal because OP said that he's betting so the loses might be minimized especially if OP know what team he's going to put his money in.

Now in the subject of how OP plans to achieve this 50k betting goal, I advice you that with all that you're planning to do, it's always a safe choice to do the safest bets, those that will guarantee you win should be the pick no matter how stacked the odds is on the other team, that kind of scheme by betting services are designed so they attract risk takers that want to take chances on the likely to lose side.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerians spend $975m daily on online betting on: November 04, 2023, 09:33:39 AM
I saw a comment on the article about the numbers not a viable thing and that there's a possibility that it's an inaccurate statistic since they came from the government which I think is a valid argument so hopefully there are other statistics that can at least back this up. Regarding the statistics though, if this is accurate then that's an alarming number because a population that's mostly gambling is likely a population that's experiencing high levels of poverty although that's just a conjecture, I do think that when more people are trying their luck with gambling, that can only mean that they're trying to find a way to get out of poverty in the quickest way possible which is gambling.

It remind me about this video on youtube, Gamblers Like Me: The Dark Side of Sports Betting from BBC Africa.
I was surprised when the first time seeing this video, bookies are opening their service such as a grocery store or a minimarket there.
Interesting story, here is the link if you want to watch it:

https://youtu.be/JXgLwphEDM0?si=imE6vsGEag-S7wd0
Wow, I need to watch documentaries again and these might be the best one to start my documentary binge. I didn't know that gambling was that thriving in Africa that they're building these kinds of establishments just for the purpose of catering to gamblers and make the gambling experience more convenient.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 04, 2023, 08:43:01 AM
Let's just wait about the new DPC season while Valve is just setting the timing of it. Whilst for the ESL Kuala Lumpur, we will see teams that are already composed with their roster.

For now, most of them aren't seen yet and I am just waiting for them for most of the regions there. This is interesting as we're going to see the debut of those teams that have a new set of roster.
If Tundra and Team Spirit aren't changing their current roster till 2024, your excitement and my excitement won't last that long because there's a possibility that they're going to be TI favorites again. Still excited on the new roster changes on these teams though, I love to see new teams dominating and more players having a synergy with other players from their new teams because I feel like that's what's stopping these teams from playing in a way that's much more competitive than they can ever be, the synergy of the players on that team.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 04, 2023, 07:49:51 AM
I don't see a huge difference between crypto casinos and regular gamblers who use fiat casinos. When it comes to games, if blockchain is involved, fiat casinos can't compete. However, the biggest games in the crypto gambling industry still come from sports betting, if I'm not mistaken. They offer the same types of games as fiat casinos, but the difference is that in crypto casinos, we can maintain our privacy as they don't require gamblers to comply with KYC directly. They also allow gamblers from countries that are banned by fiat casinos. So when it comes to convenience, I'd choose crypto casinos. However, in terms of security, I think fiat casinos have the upper hand.
That's cause there isn't any big difference, maybe the aspect of crypto gamblers being mostly online and pseudonymous can be the only striking difference but the online part can be debated too as there are fiat casinos that are operating online too. Another difference although not huge would be the payment system is, which is fiat for the fiat casinos and cryptocurrency for crypto casinos which isn't really a big difference, maybe what @0t3p0t is the only big difference if I am corrected, that there's some technological skill involved in crypto gambling since you've to know how to set up your wallet and how to buy the crypto that you're going to use to gamble.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: November 04, 2023, 06:59:27 AM
Of course, also why do we need to stop when we are told to? Gambling is a past time that's not really benefiting anyone in the relationship so why not stop it even before being asked to? Unless you know that you're making money from gambling and your significant other knows that you're making money from gambling and that person approves of you gambling then you don't have any other choice besides stopping gambling altogether. If you really love your partner, wouldn't you try and keep him or her happy by granting what they're asking and you know that your relationship is going to benefit from it? Me? I wouldn't just try, I would do it.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: November 04, 2023, 06:09:49 AM
The real effects of gambling should be a big boost to your maths skills.  Now when you get sums wrong the odds are calculated badly and you lose money, high motivation to get it right and check your odds multiple times etc.   Of course nobody thinks of gambling like this but it can be this way if careful imo.
That's the most pathetic effect imo because if you're trying to get boost on your math skills by gambling then you failed already because most if not all gambling games are comprised of complex math and I don't think it's really the goal of someone to be good at math plus people who are already good at math will always be the one that's going to excel at gambling just like those card counting blackjack players. If you probably said problem solving skills, that's probably the more appropriate skill being honed.
1136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betfury will not pay the promised bounty for bugs found on: November 04, 2023, 05:26:31 AM
This is one of the risk for bugs hunter because the site offers to anyone "first come, first served".
The offers is not exclusive only for you, and usually any sites will collecting bugs they found first before they release a new patch to fix them all together.

So maybe they already found the bugs before you reported it, or maybe someone already reported it first. Public will not know about it, only the staff and devs on that website.
Well if you feel that you have been scam by that website, I suggest to bring this thread to the scam accusation section, not here on the gambling section.
Why did they ask for how the bug was found then if they already had done it themselves? Wouldn't they emailed OP that they've already found it and that they were sorry that OP was too late for the report? But in the screenshots of the email, there seems to be no indication that they got to it first or that someone got to it first also your assumption that there's a lot of bug hunter for Betfury isn't absolutely right, what if that's how a lot of other bug hunters think that they didn't bother trying to hunt for Betfury which ends up with Betfury having less hunters than expected.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: November 04, 2023, 04:10:52 AM
They obviously do, the casino management keep an eye on every single player and their activities from what games they play and how much money they bet on them and every other thing that they do on the platform, so they obviously know what each player deserves as a reward when it comes to bonuses and rewards, and I believe VIP gamblers get extra attention in this matter because they are generally high rollers and there must be a dedicated team to keep an eye on the VIP players and their activities.

So, gamblers with VIP ranks might also receive different rewards and bonuses even if they are in the same rank based on the amount of money they wager in a specific period of time and which games they play. I think gamblers that wager on original games receive better rewards than those who play slots from other game providers.
I didn't know that they do that kind of thing online, I thought that kind of treatment is only something done on casinos in real life like the Bellagio or Cesar's Palace or any casinos in Vegas. I wonder what do the online casinos offer to their high roller VIPs since online is pretty limited in terms of amenities unlike a physical casino.
Have we even considered that some gambling platforms do not accept having more than one account one their platform because it's being termed a way of abuse on their system, you can imagine someone who is hunting after getting referral bonus or registration bonus having as many accounts as possible, maybe having more than one account on different casino gambling platforms are welcome but not on the same website, at the end, we will still need money to maintain any of these accounts to avoid being domant.
OP's got 3 different accounts from 3 different casinos, not 3 accounts in one casino. Yes, what you're saying is definitely an abuse in the system especially regarding referrals and bonuses being taken by the same person so in a way, your worry isn't warranted because didn't violate anything anyway.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: November 04, 2023, 03:29:43 AM
those animal caring group does not truly accept that reality that those chicken are being breed for single reason and that is to fight like a gladiator , the owner breeders even spending big amount from the moment of being Egg till they comes out and lots of vitamins upon growing , plus the time and dedication with caring just for those chick to become fighter and bring them winning .
not sure what is the purpose of hindering them to be killed in action when Humans are also bringing soldiers in to war , to fight for their country so as the cock to fight for their masters .
Are you against dogfighting? Because if yes then you would finally understand why these animal rights activist are against the idea of breeding these fight cocks for the sole purpose of using it to satisfy their bloodthirst. Also, comparing them to war is a different story, the reason why we muster soldiers is because we know that there's a threat against us and that the pacifist route can't really be the only key to achieving peace because there are people that are planning to disrupt that peace and so we have no way of fighting those disruptors but to build an armed forces, sure there's more to that but in the simplest of terms, that's the reason why we build an army, to defend our motherland or fatherland. Now unlike with this fight cocks, they really aren't rational beings that can consent to a fight, humans just find that they're instinct is such a fun thing to watch and so we capitalize on it for entertainment.
1139  Other / Meta / Re: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! on: November 04, 2023, 02:51:22 AM
This user has 282 activities and suddenly spreads a trojan with a fake ANN, maybe this account was hacked.
I've checked the 5 pages of his post and it's just bounty related posts so I might not be too inclined to believed that this account is hacked, there's not a lot of effort invested in this account so it's easy for him to just use it to share a Trojan, if I were on that person's shoes and there's an opportunity for me to do it with an account that has some significant activity to hide my intentions (sharing links in the posts most of the time so it's likely that someone will click on my links without thinking about it.), I would probably do it too. Although I could be wrong though and this account really is hacked but that's unlikely since the hacker won't really get anything out of hacking this account wouldn't they?
1140  Other / Meta / Re: Image ban or tagging, is it possible? on: November 03, 2023, 09:17:12 AM
I'm sure there's a free use policy on images posted on the Internet and if I recall correctly, if the person that has taken the photo explicitly stated that they don't want it to be used by other people then that's when the plagiarism starts to be an issue and it's mostly being done by professional photographers there's a famous case of that iirc although it was amicably settled, I think it was a picture used by a YouTube music video which a lot of people loved and the video got taken down for copyright on the picture. In this forum, I think that it's going to be difficult to get accused of image plagiarism so you don't need to worry OP.
