2461  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How does USA election effect on crypto market? on: November 10, 2020, 05:45:26 AM
Mr.Joe Biden now winning the USA election is the best thing that could have happened for all of us (non Americans.)

It just is showing people are faithful in the new president and now we will watch the global markets recover.

We can hope this Crypto run will continue until he becomes official President.
2462  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pfizer company has successfully developed covid-19 Vaccine on: November 10, 2020, 05:38:13 AM
What I've seen on the news says that they're 90% effective. Is that percentage going to increase up to 99.9% or 100%?

So the media just ignores that China had its own vaccine, while Pfizer after getting good results, it was publicly reported.

This is only the 1st analysis so it will increase to 100%.
They are not in Final stages yet.
2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] ZCASH - All coins are created equal. Discussion Thread (Unofficial) on: November 10, 2020, 05:26:37 AM
As I know Zcash will have hardforл on November this year. Whats exact date of hardfork? Does it means that with hardfork there will halving  rewards? Does Binance confirmed hardfork already?

No hardfork I think. Just halvening

Seems I mixed up something, may be its halvening. I just read article on some website and there were said about it, and says that halving happens in November, but no exact date. So whats the date of halving?

The 1st halving will take place on November 18-   when inflation rate of Zcash will drop from 25% to 12.5%.

Let us know how it goes -  some people here are knowledgeable of stuff like this (Dell for me.)
2465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: November 08, 2020, 06:48:34 AM
Is it because the Trump people have given up?

Is it because the Biden people are relaxing after what they think is a win?

I had hoped Bitcoin would actually make it to $20,000 this time!

Cool

This is the 'correctional' period as I have read it being called by super investors.

It could not just continue to go up without evening out or something would be wrong.
2466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Haney vs Gamboa WBC World Lightweight Title on: November 08, 2020, 06:43:17 AM
I have read that DH did not look impressive and he was a big favorite to defeat the Cuban man.

Maybe he needs to focus more on being a better fighter then by talking online since he did not make impressions today.

2468  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lockdown depression :( on: November 08, 2020, 06:33:40 AM
Cheesy thanks for the advises Smiley yeah I am passing time watching movies and stuffs, also by gambling  Grin I think I overhyped when I said depression, it's not so intense, just sadness and stuff that is normal. I hope this epidemic passes soon and life returns to normal. Watching the death tolls is also so sad. Hope this is over soon Smiley

Well im glad I was able to read the topic and your op was much more depressing to read.   I can also say you are not alone.

It is normal for us to get depressed from lock down but by now if you are still reading this then hopefully more things are open and you arent depressed.
2469  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 08, 2020, 06:29:27 AM
Well we have seen Bitcoin nearly touch $16k last night, with that in mind what do you think is in stock for Bitcoin for the remainder of 2020? Do you think we will see it break past $20k?

We saw Bitcoin touch $16k recently but i had a feeling this isnt going to be the ultimate bull run pushing us psst the last all time high ($20k.)

If the price my Jan.1 2021 is near $16k I will be satisfied and just glad it didnt dip much lower.

But I think the ATH will come later next year.
2470  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your bad habit in everyday? on: November 06, 2020, 07:28:44 AM
Most recently I picked up a new bad habit that I am embarrassed to share with anyone but here- biting my nails.

My fingernails and my toenails can not be too long or I will bite the nail down to the skin.

Sometimes it gets so bad that there is blood from my skin but not too much times.
2471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2020, 07:14:59 AM
If the topic such as Bitcoin presents itself I will speak my part and knowledge on its topic.  I might know more than most other people on topic of crypto.
It becomes tricky when people ask about financial advise since I am not in the position to give any advice for investing.
Doing your own research is what I tell them since I can not be at fault if people lose money.
2472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: November 06, 2020, 06:48:36 AM
I wonder if us HODLers need to be worried about the new record for Bitcoin withdrawn from Binance.
There was a record 58,861 BTC withdraw on November 3rd which worth about $816 million.
Is this a sign the whales are rallying?
2473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend some books about investing please! on: November 06, 2020, 06:42:37 AM
Hello there peeps. What are your top books that you’d recommend to a beginner investor and someone that wants to get into cryptocurrency investing? Im no neophyte, I know how bitcoin works; that means don’t recommend books that teach about the background of bitcoin. Otherwise, any other book helps.

Regards

There is no reason to spend money on books to buy when there is the best site- https://old.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/
It is so much knowledge and the best site for Bitcoin news and information.
You will want to view it many times a day because its always updated.
2474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin foundation was formed? on: November 06, 2020, 06:35:32 AM
I'm reading in Wikipedia that Bitcoin foundation "was founded in September 2012 in order to try to restore the reputation of Bitcoin after several scandals, and to try to promote its development and uptake." (source) and I'm wandering whether it's a correct information and what scandals we are speaking about that was necessary to mitigate at that time?

If you have any additional information or opinion please tell me what was the reason the Bitcoin foundation was created?

Well for other then credibility it was to establish a reputation as being sort of like a source for legitimate projects.
If a project or a site was a member of the Bitcoin Foundation, they were to be considered more trustworthy.
I do not know if this was always 100 percent true but this is what they seeked out to achieve.
2475  Other / Off-topic / Re: Touchpad buttons on Dell stopped working on: November 06, 2020, 06:31:00 AM
Title say it all. Dell Latitude.

Started with the right button only reacted when pressing the left side (of the right button). Was like that a couple of weeks.
Then one day non of the buttons worked. Came back after a reboot.
Now both buttons are dead. Tried troubleshooting within the Dell Software, but everything are supposed to work correctly according to both Dell software and in the settings of Windows.

*Side note. The dead buttons occurred after using the Tor browser. Normally use Chrome and Brave. Probably no connection, but mention is anyway.

Thoughts?

I once had a Dell and I remember the Dell community in being helpful when I needed to install drivers on a older machine.
Post your question problem here and maybe you get better results-  https://www.dell.com/community/
2476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: November 06, 2020, 06:25:34 AM
Ripple has joined with paypal and twitter to call for fair elections in the United States.

I read about it on Cointelegraph

Is it true? Ripple has taken a very good step. I just heard about it today. Can you provide the cointelegraph link? Because I also want to read in full.

Heres the Telegraph link-  https://cointelegraph.com/news/ripple-paypal-and-twitter-join-coalition-calling-for-fair-elections

2478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser: Now users can earn Basic Attention Token (BAT) for viewing ads on: November 03, 2020, 05:13:24 AM
I have read that Brave browser number of users in the past year increased 130%.  It is my favorite mobile browser by a while.

With 20m current users and another 1m million content creators Brave will soon be as popular as chrome/mozilla.

2480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you cancel BTC transaction with 1 confirmation? on: November 02, 2020, 06:11:11 AM
it seems that it is difficult and I think it is impossible to do, how much money do you want to cancel it, is it so big that you want to cancel the transaction, I think when your transaction has been entered into a block and confirmed I think it is very difficult except you are a very important person

It doesnt matter the size of the transaction since others have already stated that its not possible to do what he is asking to do.
If this was possible there would be many chances to cheat or 'double spend'.
If it was possible to do what he is talking about then Bitcoin would not be able to function in proper way.
