1601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 29 Year Old Legend In Crypto Trading on: February 17, 2022, 07:12:20 AM
I think it’s great Sam Bankman has had so much success in the crypto space.

I think when people experience envy with other peoples success it’s really a reflection of their own fear.

I think it’s great that he’s done well and wonderful that he’s given a significant portion of his money to charity. I’ve read that supposedly he’s a stand-up guy.
1602  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 07, 2022, 07:41:09 AM
I think it's great that India has legalized bitcoin. I see this is a great opportunity for Indians to get into the crypto space and take advantage of this amazing revolutionary technology.
Legalization will inevitably have a positive impact on the Indian economy as BTC has created significant wealth for countries with a large percentage of adoption.
It's unfortunate that they’re taxing crypto but I think that it's expected that governments want a piece of the action considering how many citizens around the world have benefited financially.
1603  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 07, 2022, 07:06:07 AM
I understand your frustration with the volatility of BTC. One of the biggest pieces of advice I can offer is to just be patient and stay the course.
With a truly revolutionary technology like BTC it can take time to mature but people, organizations and governments all around the world are already seeing the value and market adoption is reaching staggering levels.
If you practice patience and try not to pay attention to every correction you will feel a lot more peace of mind.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallet Hacking through Telegram on: February 07, 2022, 06:35:27 AM
I have heard that a lot of crypto wallets are hacked through Telegram. Personally, this is why I don't use Telegram.
I think too many bad actors are looking for ways to exploit Telegram users. For social media, I only use Facebook and Instagram because I have heard of less incidents of hacking on those platforms.
1605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay for coffee with Bitcoin on: February 07, 2022, 06:25:11 AM
I choose not to purchase disposable, single use items like coffee with bitcoin because I see the long term value of holding my BTC.
Personally, I believe BTC will reach 100k in 2022 so purchasing coffee with crypto seems like a bad deal. On the other hand, I can understand buying items that you see as an investment with crypto.
For example, I have friends that have bought smart phones or cars with BTC because those purchases can potentially give one the ability to earn more money.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 07, 2022, 06:18:16 AM
I think it's fantastic that you bought an iphone 13 with bitcoin. It's great that more and more companies are accepting bitcoin to purchase their goods and services.
Personally, I use BTC as a more of a long term investment to hedge against the coming inflation but I can understand the need to purchase certain goods like smart phones with BTC.
A good phone can also be a great investment, perhaps not in terms of resale value but it can have a high ROI if you are using it to help you earn more money.
1607  Other / Off-topic / Re: CBD fights Cancer? on: February 03, 2022, 12:26:49 PM
I think CBD has many positive properties that can help people suffering with cancer.

I understand that many people have different uses for CBD and I believe that all people should have access to it if they find it beneficial to their health.

Personally, I would prefer THC because I hear it helps with insomnia and anxiety.
1608  Other / Off-topic / Re: Robot Vacuum Cleaner on: February 03, 2022, 11:32:11 AM
I have an older Roomba vacuum cleaner that still works. It does the job more or less but probably not as effective as it once was.
The battery is not nearly as good as it used to be and I suspect that maybe negatively effecting its performance.
I would consider getting a new one because it really is a time saver.
1609  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smoking on: February 03, 2022, 11:10:13 AM
I don’t smoke because I think it’s unhealthy. I understand it was popular in the old days because people were unaware smoking causes cancer.
However, now with the all the medical research linking smoking to different health problems it just doesn’t appeal to me.
1610  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your phone type on: January 21, 2022, 11:19:23 AM
I use the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It’s not for everyone because of the size but it really fits my lifestyle.
I work in a capacity that screen size and picture quality is of the utmost importance.
I’m aware there’s a new iPhone out now but I’m satisfied at the moment.
1611  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Cartoons! on: January 21, 2022, 10:44:39 AM
Look I got to be honest, I love this art so much. I am not a serious art collector but this is my favorite personal style.  Everything about the classic imagery mixed with BTC just speaks to me.
1612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 21, 2022, 10:38:32 AM
When I’m doing bigger trades of crypto I do have certain habits that are pretty regular.
Personally, I only trade when I put on a specific song that depends on the mood i'm currently in usually depending on the time.
I guess I think that music can help me think clearer and in different ways.
1613  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about owning and selling your content on social media? on: January 21, 2022, 06:31:35 AM
Many 'influencers' making millions are entrepreneurs and they’re positively benefiting our economy.

The more money they generate can even create new jobs when they hire people.

Efficiently using social media seems like an effective method to acquire wealth.
1614  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do we really say thank you? on: January 17, 2022, 10:35:06 AM
I think praying, thanking God and expressing gratitude is a very good practice.
I am not in the habit of praying daily however when I feel a calling to express my gratitude for all of the wonderful gifts bestowed on me, I check in with my higher power.
I truly think praying adds value to my life. Sometimes I go through all the things I am grateful for before bed because that is a time when I am sure I will not be disturbed by anyone in my house.

1616  Other / Off-topic / Re: Share something interesting you learned today on: January 13, 2022, 12:54:45 PM
Today I started watching an interesting new documentary series on the great Paul McCartney.
I learned that he got to see Jimi Hendrix play live in the mid 60s.
What an amazing time to have been alive.
I would have loved to see these legends just doing their thing in swinging London.
1617  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Bogdanoff brothers are dead on: January 13, 2022, 09:38:45 AM
I think it’s tragic that the Bogdonoff brothers passed this last week. It looks like they lived a happy, full and exciting life til their 70s.

I believe their family descended from European nobility. From what I read they did not get the vaccine but that is a personal decisions and I would never speak ill of the dead.
1618  Other / Off-topic / Re: what kind of gambling kind do you like? on: January 13, 2022, 09:27:14 AM
I do enjoy gambling a bit here and there. My game is blackjack and I am pretty good if I do say so myself.   My advice for is to never take insurance. This includes taking ‘even money’ with a black jack against a dealer ace.
1619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 08, 2022, 01:01:19 PM
Well since .01 btc is only 1 percent of a full bitcoin I don't think you will be rich in the future just hodling that small amount of coin.
NO better time to stack your bitcoins then during this Bear market.
1620  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Firefox No Longer the Best Privacy Browser? on: January 08, 2022, 12:26:15 PM
Firefox and brave browser are my 2 browsers that I use regularly.    For a layer of extra security you can add DuckduckGo to your Firefox extention works really good.
