I think it’s horrible how this conflict has impacted so many innocent people and completely upended their lives.

I donated a small amount of money to Doctors Without Borders but I really wish I could do more.

My heart goes out to all those impacted by this needless violence.

If the war continues, I will try and figure out a way to help the Ukrainian people more.
1582  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will there be a world war three? on: March 02, 2022, 08:08:59 AM
I think there is a realistic possibility of a World War 3 level conflict. The chances are low at the moment if I had to wager but if Putin pushes his forces into a Nato controlled area and if China or another super power supports him this conflict could become a full scale world war 3 level conflict.
1583  Other / Off-topic / Re: pretty girl with bad case of Flatulence on: March 02, 2022, 07:49:13 AM
I think it really depends on the girl. I know many people suffer from IBS and it’s very difficult to treat.
I would need to meet her and see if she’s a good person before knowing if I could really date her. It’s not a ‘make it or break it’ issue for me personally.

1585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weakens at US$ 42,145.35 The Impact of Russia's Conflict with Ukraine on: February 24, 2022, 08:26:03 AM
It’s difficult to say exactly what’s causing the price drop but it absolutely has to do with the state of the global economy. The spending by governments to keep their economies going has been astronomical and not sustainable.
The US for example is breaking records with their spending. Just be confident in a correction with BTC soon especially when others are looking for safer options for their reserves with the coming inflation.
1586  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you Smoke? on: February 24, 2022, 08:02:03 AM
I went to a wedding last weekend and a good fiend of mine brought out some very expensive cigars for us to try. I really tried to get into it and enjoy it but it just wasn’t my thing.
I think cigars are probably an acquired taste and I just don’t enjoy the numbing sensation in my mouth. To each their own I guess.
1587  Other / Off-topic / Re: what kind of gambling kind do you like? on: February 24, 2022, 07:52:27 AM
Lately I have really enjoed gambling to be honest. Recently, I started playing online roulette and I usually have a few screens up to maximize my time.
I fairly consistently do well at it and I enjoy it a ton. Life is short and if you’re good at something why deny yourself a fun hobby?
1588  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does anyone know of a provider that can send bulk SMS ? on: February 23, 2022, 09:22:41 AM
In the past I have used Clicksend and the results were always better than I expected. I believe they have a free trial period so see if thats working for you. There are so many to choose from so I really dont think you will have any problems choosing a perfect one for your needs.

1590  Economy / Economics / Re: What's happening in Canada ? on: February 21, 2022, 07:55:35 AM
I understand that people are not seeing eye to eye in Canada right now.
People have many different opinions and I try to stay compassionate and not judge anyone.
I’m lucky, I feel like most of my friends are open but many people just don’t want to hear the other side.
1591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage Opportunities' on: February 21, 2022, 07:48:18 AM
I think arbitrage trading is very interesting but overall I wouldn’t recommend it.
If you are buying your crypto and selling it on another exchange you are assuming a great deal of risk.
Personally, I have made more money on my longest holds.
The value of BTC keeps outperforming and small wins just don’t deliver over the long-term in my experience.
1592  Other / Off-topic / Re: What’s your favorite Nike sneaker? on: February 21, 2022, 06:58:08 AM
My friend from work just bought himself the PG5.  If anything it is an attention grabber.
At first I didn't think too much of them but now that I think of it I think it has a very original design for the Nike brand shoe.
1593  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: February 21, 2022, 06:50:31 AM
I think side jobs are a smart way to support yourself, especially while your working on other higher goals.

I’ve worked side jobs at my different phase in life. While going to school, I worked side jobs to obtain higher income from the training.

Now I work side jobs of a sort to help my fund my businesses. It’s very important to find alternative income streams.
1594  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2022, 06:36:02 AM
I understand your frustration but when you’re dealing with an exponential technology like BTC it’s always difficult to predict.
Many people get their hopes up of where BTC should be valued at this particular moment in time and they get disappointed.
Just be patient, look at the consistent growth and understand that BTC will inevitably hit over 100k.
1595  Other / Off-topic / Re: Today i lost my wallet at Belgrade today on: February 21, 2022, 06:21:08 AM
I’m sorry you lost your wallet. I can imagine it would be annoying to have to get all new cards.

I rarely carry cash with me in my wallet. I usually have less than $60, I just don’t use much cash anymore.
1596  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: February 21, 2022, 06:07:59 AM
I recently saw Jason Stathom in ‘Wrath of man’, it was unexpectedly entertaining. Guy Ritchie directed it and he just makes fun movies that I like to watch.
However, it follows many overused crime movie clichés you’ve seen before. But overall I really did like it, it’s just a cool crime movie.
1597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 17, 2022, 09:16:27 AM
I think this is a good idea you are doing and I think it would be fantastic if my employer paid me partially in bitcoin. I suspect more companies will offer this an option because so many employees see the value of having a significant portion of their portfolio in bitcoin.
If people prefer to be paid in fiat I think they should be able to opt out of this but personally I think being compensated in bitcoin is a great motivator for me personally.
1598  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will there be a world war three? on: February 17, 2022, 08:56:03 AM
Really hope I'm wrong but I do suspect there will be a world war 3 in my lifetime.  It is hard to predict who would be involved and when it will happen. If it leads to a nuclear, chemical or biological attacks it’s hard to see how any side will come away a winner.

Today there are new threats like sonic warfare such as the Havana syndrome and I’m sure many new military technological breakthroughs are on the horizon.  My hope is that people use constraint and no strays too far from the ethical framework of the Geneva convention.
1599  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: February 17, 2022, 08:50:58 AM
I recently saw The Suicide Squad on HBO Max and was pretty entertained, parts were absolutely hilarious. I’d seen the previous suicide squad movie a few years ago and was pretty bored so I had low expectations on this one.
However, with a mainly new cast and fresh director they really nailed the comedic tone, pacing and story in a way I didn’t expect. I love when a movie knows what it is (in this case popcorn entertainment) and really delivers the goods.

1600  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU ANY OF YOU WORKOUT?🏋💪 on: February 17, 2022, 07:57:41 AM
I have a few different workout routines that I alternate.

Most days before work I do a calisthenics routine consisting of push-ups, sit-ups and core training for around 30 minutes.

This keeps my body fit and my mind clear during the day.

After work, on any given day I alternate between a good run or a gym lifting session.
