2421  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins on: November 22, 2020, 07:30:30 AM
Years ago, i know people said localbitcoin is great for selling/buying btc.  Is it still good now?

Also if you sell btc, isn't the best payment method going to be cash deposit in bank where the buyer deposit cash in the bank... then you release them the coins once the end of the banking days end?  Back then i heard a trick some scammers did was deposit cash at bank... send you receipt, then you send btc... then they go back to bank with receipt and said they made mistake depositing in wrong account and they get their money back.

How is it right now?

I have been scammed by Localbitcoins on more then 1 occasion.  I would not suggest anyone use this service (not even my biggest enemy.)

Candy Crush but I will warn you it is very highly addicting.
2423  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is why btc will die as a crypto on: November 22, 2020, 07:15:08 AM
Not to go against you, but I do not think btc will die for any reason and not because of high fees.
These fees are way too much but there are ways to avoid paying such high fees.
Learn how to read the mempool and dont pay more for fees then you must.
2424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: November 22, 2020, 07:07:49 AM
XRP was up 56.65% this week and was highest of all year.
21.63% in the last 24 hours.  Can you guess what is causing this breakout ?
2425  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is KYC needed Always for Crypto Trading? on: November 19, 2020, 06:44:02 AM
1 of the best ways to do Crypto Trading without using KYC is for using Shapeshift.   I like it since the fees are low and no kyc-  and its founded by Erik Voorhees.

2426  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 19, 2020, 06:17:41 AM
How do we speculate if bitcoin and crypto shall prosper under the Biden administration than it does under Trump administration.

What are your views?

Well if it is anything like we are doing now, I think Crypto will continue to be more interesting for people as bigger companies become involved.

I thought at first that if Joe Biden won the US election, that the crypto world would be in a worst position.  Good to say I was wrong.
2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chiliz (CHZ) - A digital currency for sports powering Socios.com on: November 19, 2020, 05:53:45 AM
Team Alliance who a esports team from Sweden will now launch their own token $ALL Fan Token on Socios.com.

It feels like more and more teams are beginning to follow this trend.

2428  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: November 19, 2020, 05:47:50 AM
Corona Virus has been a silent blessing for crypto holders.  It is a terrible pandemic and we should all stay safe but we can watch our crypto accounts grow in value.

There is a lot of big news in Bitcoin world this last week and I think bigger news will come sooner only to keep the bull run going.
2429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Chainlink (LINK) a good investment? on: November 19, 2020, 05:41:59 AM
Hedge fund manager Three Arrows Capita just bought $10m worth of LINK in last dip.  This is big news for anyone hodling LINK.

Three Arrows Capital also hundreds of millions worth of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust shares.  Grayscale buying Bitcoin is one of the reasons for bull run.

2430  Other / Off-topic / Re: Happy New Year 2021 is going to arrive soon! on: November 19, 2020, 05:34:18 AM
This is a somewhat early for discussion in my opinion but just because the year 2020 is over does not mean Corona Virus will be over.

I would like to see what happens in next month with new vaccine-  because we still have work to do.

2431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2020, 05:26:40 AM
One of the most important things I learned is that when buying Crypto you never buy it with a loan (credit card.)

If your loan goes down in value and you owe like double the original loan you are going to be in a lot of trouble.
2432  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many hours you sleep in this Pandemic Situation? on: November 19, 2020, 05:22:28 AM
My life has made a big change since the Pandemic Situation.  I would get more sleep like 8 hours a day but now I have a other responsibility so Im lucky to be getting half that.

I only need 3 or 4 hours of sleep the night before I work which is not common-  our bodies prefer 8 hours a night of sleep.
2433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: November 19, 2020, 05:17:11 AM
Has anyone tried Binance stacking?

No I never have staked any coins at Binance.  It looks like only coins you can 'stake now' is BNB and DAI.

2434  Other / Off-topic / Re: in what business would you invest ? on: November 18, 2020, 08:00:38 AM
I would invest in businesses that are Crypto, tech or automotive since those are my 3 biggest interests.

They are all money earning industries and if I was a investor thats what areas I would be looking to put my money into.
2435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 18, 2020, 07:43:00 AM
Yes you should accept Bitcoin for payments at your online store.

But not only should you accept Bitcoin you should also offer a incentive for people to spend their Bitcoin like a small discount or something.
2436  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Australian man charge over his involvement in Bitconnect scam on: November 18, 2020, 07:30:01 AM
BitConnect now there goes a name we dont hear about too often. They will always forever go down in Crypto history as biggest scam ever.

This man got what he deserved.  Those penalties of 10 years and AU$945,000 are not to take lightly.  I still cannot believe that BitConnect was worth $2.5b just 3 years ago.
2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: November 18, 2020, 07:22:37 AM
I have read now the Binance will discontinue BGBP which is its Stabecoin tied to GBP.

I believe this decision was made since the recent closing of Binance in New Jersey, USA.
2438  Other / Off-topic / Re: More Celebrities interested in Bitcoin on: November 18, 2020, 07:17:44 AM
I just checked her twitter and this is the Final results- Yes 46.6% and No 53.4% and 902,304 voted.

I think its good that she has so many votes and maybe her 2m twitter followers will Google 'bitcoin'.
2439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: November 18, 2020, 07:11:55 AM
I prefer XRP to $ 0.5 first, because XRP has been asleep for a long time and no pump has approached this coin,
it must be difficult to be a holder of XRP, please be patient and don't sell this coin cheap.
I suggest holding on to XRP because XRP is currently in a good trend. It has touched $0.285 at the moment and it will continue in the long term.
Guys dont are foul by the slight bullish trend ripple is experiencing cause it will always be a pump and dump coin. Why don't you guys just invest in Bitcoin and altcoin like ETH which was said to experience good price growth once it 2.0 is launch.

Sometimes it is good to invest in other coins then just bitcoin and ethereum.
Ripple has 3RD highest market cap of all the coins and many things going on with partnerships with SBI Holdings, Western Union, and Euro Exim Bank.
There is a reason XRP worth $8b more then next coin LINK,
