1561  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any Tennis lovers? on: March 24, 2022, 06:47:56 AM
I am a big fan of playing a game of tennis but I don't get out on the court that much these days. I used to play more in my teenage days but it's a perishable skill meaning that if you don't use your skills for many years your game can deteriorate quite a bit.
An important aspect of the game for many intermediate players like me is that my game is seriously affected by the person I'm playing across. For example, if I go out on the court with an experienced player I can really get some nice games in.
On the other hand, a few months back I tried to teach a friend how to play and I was hitting ball after ball into the net. So if you're a beginner I highly recommend playing with someone who's better than you.
1562  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is a part of war now, like it or not on: March 24, 2022, 06:41:28 AM
I do think it's kind of incredible that Crypto is playing such an important positive role in getting humanitarian aid to the people suffering from the war.
Hearing that over 120 million has been donated to the cause is a testament to not only generosity of people all around the world but shows what an amazingly effective system of dispatching value cryptocurrency can be.
It really touches me to hear this news because it shows how much good we can do as a human race when we have the technology.
The phenomenon is definitely a new thing for wars but I suspect it will certainly play a role in any future wars as well.
1563  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who know someone that has his workout routine? on: March 24, 2022, 06:35:33 AM
I find it highly unlikely that most people can achieve his amazing physique while eating high fat, sugary, processed foods. I am not making the claim that some people can't get great results while eating what they want but my assumption is that they are in the minority.
I have a friend who has an amazing frame e.g., wide masculine shoulders, small waist and very low body fat, he even has the outlines of a six pack and he eats pizza and fried foods regularly. In fact, I've never seen my friend at the gym so it's really about finding what works for you.
I would say find a diet and exercise regimen that produces the results you're looking for and personally I have some doubts that this method would work for me but maybe it would? Who knows unless you try it.
1564  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto.com will be a sponsor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on: March 24, 2022, 05:50:44 AM
I think it's great that Crypto.com is sponsoring the World Cup. Truth be told, this news really shocked me because it came as a complete surprise.
As far as I'm aware Qatar, who is hosting the games has a ban on crypto and has made it illegal. All in all, I think it's great that all the people at the games and those watching it around the world will be made more aware of crypto currencies.
The power of advertising and marketing is enormous and I'm sure many new people will start researching crypto and blockchain's potential.
1565  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what could be Vladimir Putin intension for the war? on: March 20, 2022, 08:26:15 AM
There are probably many reasons worth noting for Putin’s brutal invasion into Ukraine. First, it has strong strategic military importance for Russia.
Second, I suspect there are also significant natural resources in Ukraine that Russia sees as valuable enough to literally kill people over.
And lastly, it can’t be understated in my opinion that Putin sees the taking back of Ukraine under Russian control as a point of pride.
Putin has a huge ego and I think he fundamentally miscalculated that most of the world would unite in solidarity in defense of this unnecessary bloodshed.
1566  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: March 20, 2022, 08:18:30 AM
I recently caught Liam Neeson’s ‘Blacklight’ and I enjoyed it. It delivers the goods if you have followed and enjoyed Neeson’s last decade of easy to watch action movies you would probably enjoy it.
It follows the trend of ‘Taken’ and the rest by putting Neeson against difficult odds to take down a strong adversaries.
As always with his grit, determination and special skill set he manages to give the bad guys a run for their money.
If you’re expecting innovative story lines or something different from the rest look elsewhere but if you you’re a fan of these kind of films it’s worth a watch.
1567  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you living a healthy life? How? on: March 19, 2022, 06:34:24 AM
I do maintain a pretty healthy lifestyle overall. I workout regularly , alternating between cardio and weight training and I eat pretty clean too. I try to eat a whole food diet consisting of very little processed foods.
This means I end up cooking a lot which does take time. I also avoid products with sugar if I can and if I see too many chemicals I don't recognize like preservatives or nitrates I try not to buy them.
I don’t eat meat every meal but when I do I usually go for lean meats and if I have the extra money I try to buy organic but it’s not a requirement.
1568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 19, 2022, 06:21:52 AM
Completely understandable that Elon not selling his Bitcoin, he’s a very successful serial entrepreneur with billions of dollars behind him.
I would assume his portfolio is so diversified, he’s completely covered no matter what happens to the economy or his companies, either way he’ll be just fine financially.
I think for regular retail investors we have a completely different view point because of most people have very different financial circumstances and therefore make very different decisions what to do with their capital.
1569  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ever been to Thailand? on: March 19, 2022, 06:08:07 AM
I have been to Thailand a few times and it’s fantastic every time.
First, I recommend the street food in Bangkok. The best Pad Thai noodles I’ve ever had was made off a little wagon for a dollar or two.
And, make sure you order a Thai iced tea and coffee, they are a lot sweeter than I’m used to because they use condensed milk with sugar but are so tasty. I also loved scuba diving off the island Koh Tao.
I got my PADI scuba divers license there and it was super cheap and breathtakingly beautiful. If you have a little extra time check out some Buddhist temples, watching the rituals and people burning candles and incense was so inspiring, I’ll never forget it.
1570  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you prefer Crunchy Cheetos or Puffs ? on: March 19, 2022, 05:47:04 AM
I am a huge Crunchy Cheeto and Puffs fan. Flaming hot Cheetos are absolutely amazing as long as I have a cold drink close by.
I even tried the limited edition Extra Flaming Hot crunchy and they weren’t as tasty as regular flaming hot but still really good.
Crunchy is my favorite but maybe I’m just more nostalgic because I ate them a lot as a kid.
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NFTs be available on Instagram soon? on: March 16, 2022, 09:36:18 AM
NFT's are just so popular that I am starting to see them and hear about them in places you would least be expected.  The people who are using social medias like Instagram are now talking about a block chain which just is outstanding to me.  Never I thought this could happen.
Yes NFT's will be available on instagram and other social medias also.

1573  Other / Off-topic / Re: Healthy mental health is wroth keeping on: March 12, 2022, 08:13:35 AM
To keep my mental health in check I recommend working out regularly.
I alternate between a simple workout routine in the morning before work and more intense sessions at the gym after work.
I also practice yoga to increase my flexibility and I find it has a very positive effect on my moods and keeps me more relaxed.
Lastly, a few times a week I practice mindfulness meditation.
Meditation is the hardest for me to stay consistent with but I've noticed serious benefits when I stick with it.
1574  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you betting online ? on: March 12, 2022, 07:16:24 AM
Online betting requires a technique and strategy to attempt in beating the house and the houses edge.
They say this is easier said then it is really done.  Gambling is only supposed to be for fun online for a habit but not as a job.
1575  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: March 12, 2022, 07:00:03 AM
I really enjoyed "The Batman" with Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz. They had a lot of chemistry on screen and it was a slightly different take on Batman than I'd ever seen on film.
It also had a lot of good cameos from other really entertaining actors like Colin Farrell. I would say it was more of a crime mystery than a typical superhero action movie which I found refreshing.
I figured it would be hard to compete against Nolan's Batman trilogy but "The Batman" was definitely just as good in my opinion.
1576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBAY might accept BITCOIN on: March 07, 2022, 06:09:36 AM
I think it’s great that eBay may be potentially excepting bitcoin on their platform very soon. I use eBay a lot for buying and selling.
I think it’ll make the transaction process easier and smoother with the ability to just use your preferred form of currency.
Cryptocurrency like bitcoin have a lot of advantages due to their level of transparency on the blockchain.

1578  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No social media is safe on: March 07, 2022, 05:34:59 AM
Social media can be useful for us but also there are reasons to be hesitant to use it.   Privacy or lack there of privacy being the first reason why I am careful with Social media.
But it is also part of many daily lives and part of society.  So I think to be anti social media isnt right but just be careful cause it's not safe and proven.
1579  Other / Off-topic / Re: Healthy life on: March 07, 2022, 04:04:15 AM
I have recently started taking up Yoga classes to help me with my breathing and my balance.  I mix it in with my meditation that I do in the morning before I go to work and I have a clear head throughout the day.

1580  Economy / Economics / Re: Who gain's from War ? on: March 02, 2022, 08:45:59 AM
Many benefit financially from war. Banks have consistently made money in times of conflict.
Also, many companies make money on everything from the weapons themselves to the logistics and reconstruction.
These last few decades private security firms have profited handsomely from war.
